Please stay away form this place. They do substandard work and when the work breaks down they charge you for doing the same thing over again and that too at an inflated price:Here is my experience:3/17: replaced water pump : paid 720 for it ( gave me an estimate for fixing oil leak for $ 435 plus tax at this appt that I decided to wait on)7/18: replace water pump again in just over a year. said that BMW makes them such that they keep breaking down3/19: Fixed the oil leak and charged me 832 plus tax ( original estimate435 thats double in 2 years )3/19: coolant leak ( third time in 2 years. charged 553 plus tax)4/19 : replaced pulley drive belt . This broke down within 2 days after he had done the coolant repair. Find it hard to believe that this was a coincidence since he had mentioned that everything looked good at the last repair) paid 960 for him to fix it5/21: replaced water pump again and charged me 918 for it and also gave me an estimate for fixing oil leak from oil cooler/oil filter for 967 . he had done the same repair less than 2 years ago and it broke down AGAIN!!!!)THIS SEEMS TO BE A PATTERN WITH HIM . CHARGE CUSTOMERS EACH TIME FOR WORK THAT THEY HAD PAID FOR PREVIOUSLY and IF IT WAS DONE CORRECLTY WOULD NOT BREAK DOWN AGAIN. NOT TO MENTION HIS ARROGANCE lack of respect . PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FORM THIS PLACE.

Honest, friendly, straight shooter and EXTREMELY knowledgeable. Der BMW meister. Took the time and care to look over the entire car, and not just the item I brought it in for. True attention to detail. Will be going to Rick and not the dealer from now on. Thanks again.

Been using Bavarian Autosport for BMW repairs and service for over 5 years. Always fixed right the first time. They are true mechanics, not just parts replacers. I drive an hour, even for a standard oil change. No nonsense approach to auto repairs. Drop your car off with a list of issues, pick it up a week later.Avoid all the glitz and glam of an overpriced dealership; cus youre ultimately paying for that fancy lounge with free water and coffee. If you want a service manager that doesnt know which end of a screwdriver to use, go to the dealership. If you want true technicians with modern technology, but an old school approach to auto service; see Rick and is team at Bavarian.

I have found Rick and team great to work with. Rick tells you what you need, tells you what its going to cost, and delivers. He even did some research - at no cost - to help me with understanding problems with my M6 that were caused by other service providers. You can trust this team!

Please do not make the same mistake that I did and attempt to utilize Bavarian Autosports services. I took my VW Passat into this mechanic shop after receiving a recommendation from a close friend. They had my car for an entire week in order to fix some relatively small issues in my opinion. After paying the bill, which was just under $2,100 I was able to drive my car off the lot. Within an hour of leaving Bavarian Autosport my check engine light was back on and the car stereo was no longer operating efficiently. I returned to Bavarian the next day and was greeted by a mechanic, who seemed very irritated that I had brought my car back in. After about 40 minutes they were able to force the check engine light to turn off. However, this repair was only temporary, as the next time I started my car the check engine light was back on.As far as the car stereo is concerned, they told me that they did not do any work on this part of the car. They also told me that the car battery died multiple times while they were performing their mechanic work and that this could be at fault for the radio not working the way that it is supposed to. With this being said, they did not seem to care that they were at fault for this new issue and essentially told me that I should figure it out on my own.My check engine light remains on after having spent close to $2,100 with this company. On top of this, I expect to accrue new costs in order to ensure the correct repair is made/the car stereo is fixed. Rick, the owner of Bavarian Autosport called me and stated that he would have his corporate attorney file a slander law suit against me should this google review contain any incorrect information. I believe that this fact alone says it all about Rick, his company, and their business practices.

Absolutely bad and unprofessional service. I honestly believe that they do not know what they are doing. I would steer away form dealing with Rick. I went to this place based on the few good review I have read. You will quickly find they are completely untrue and inaccurate. Deal with this guy once and you get the point. Dont waste your time there.

Spent $350 at Bavarian when I took my Mini Cooper in for an oil change, replacement headlight bulbs, an an overall maintenance check. I also asked them to check an issue I had with it stalling immediately after startup. They told me the stalling was due to using gasoline from Kroger, as it wasnt high enough octane. I always use the highest octane gasoline available. One week after this, my temperature light came on. We opened the hood and found the coolant level low, and coolant dripping all over from a cracked casing. We had emergency service done at a different place due to Bavarian not being open. Since repairing this, the stalling issue has been non-existent. I can only imagine that Bavarian did not do a thorough check on this issue.

I used to take my Bimmer here religiously until Rick gouged me on a visit. I tried to talk to him about it, but to no avail and just showed what a royal a-hole he truly was. It was very disappointing because I thought I had developed a decent business relationship with him. I never, ever went back so he lost a great customer that would have spent thousands more. Pennywise, pound foolish Rick!

Took my 00 Passat in to have timing belt replaced and various seals replaced. Picked it up, was promised all leaks were fixed. On the way home noticed strong burning oil odor. After moving the car the next day 4 inch oil spot on the garage floor. Took it back, told them about it, a few days later said they looked at it and said that the oil filter was leaking. Took it to have oil changed, they said the valve cover was leaking. Took it back to BAS, they said no leaks and that Tireman must have sprayed oil on it. Took it home, same problem, strong burning oil odor, spot on floor. Took it to my regular mechanic, they found the valve cover leaking and the oil was running onto the manifold. I will NEVER take my car back there, and would strongly advise you dont either. They blame EVERYBODY else for problems.

I used to have a Hyundai Tiburon and drove it until its wheels fell off (alternator died on the highway at 156,000 mile). I had been taking it to a Firestone because of proximity and was used to terrible service, terrible people who worked there and general fear of ever taking my car in to get maintenance. Since moving to Perrysburg and purchasing a BMW 550, Ive been here 3 times. Each time has been excellent and I will continue to come here. Gail (Gayle?) is extremely friendly, courteous and gives excellent customer service. Rick knows his cars, doesnt bullsh*t and offers a great value. I will continue to be a loyal customer
