I came here to fill up my gas tank after driving in from California. It was about a block East from the 101 freeway, on the Northwest corner of Thunderbird Rd and 79th Ave. The gas station was well lit and the pump that I used was clean and in good working order. Having to pay those high prices for gas in CA, it was quite nice to see prices that were much more reasonable in AZ. It was also nice to be able to pay with touchless tap payment such as Google Pay during this Covid pandemic.

There gas prices are not updated on the website. its .20 ¢ more than what they have. its 2.99 for unregular. Keep it updated so it easy for people to find gas pls.

Its all 1 place, but there are 2 parts, so just to avoid confusion; Chevron refers to the gas pumps outside, and the inside store is Francis & Sons Food Mart. Both the inside and outside are kept very clean - even the restrooms. The employees are friendly. They have new, free, self-service car vacuums for use during the day (I have never used them, and I forget the hours they are available.) It is both convenient and safe. The store & gas are open 24/7 and it is well lit. This location also the least expensive for gasoline compared to the other Chevrons in the area. The downside is the name Francis & Sons Food Mart is misleading. I dont know what defines a Food Mart, but to me, I imagine a small scale grocery store. They are comparable to any other gas station. Quick Trip has more food choices than here. You can use your Safeway grocery store rewards to get a discount on gas here. EDIT: I have used the vacuums and they are more powerful than any vacuum I have ever used. They will suck up car keys, papers, and just about ANYTHING, so make sure to clear valuables from its path! They also have a compressed air gun beside the vacuum.

Love the staff at the gas station!! Meh on the car wash staff. HATE the insanely slow pumps. First it displays my zip code large and prominent so that even someone not nearby can see it, and since the pumps are loading ads it displays for quite some time. Finally get to pump but wasted many minutes waiting and then get blaring ads that anger me so that I will NOT buy the product pitched. I hate to find a new gas station after 14 years..

Just wanted to say thank you to the Manager and the young gentlemen for helping me with my car. They didnt have to push my vehicle off the street where there was on go traffic. Thank you for your kindness.

Speaking for myself ; Consistency is something I cherish myself and the people I cross paths with however, I didnt realize that consistency is not a variable to appreciate when I have to stop at this food mart. These graveyard shift older men are grumpy. Especially this, my morning. Id like them to be honest with themselves, love themselves and quit being mean to me..

The water used to clean the windows is stale. Theres no soap and the water was so old that it had a funky smell and attracted flies. Overall gas station needed a cleaning.

I wish that I didnt get harassed by window guys everytime that I try to use this car wash. He chased me all the way to the cash register today. I wont be washing my car here again since I still have bug splatted to on the front. No means no so quit chasing me down.

The day people are amazing but wouldnt recommend going late. The Mexican guy with glasses is a POS.

Worst customer service! I ask if they honored Safeway rewards answer yes but was never asked for my information my mistake I assumed it would ask at the pump but never did. Clerk would not honor discount to late he said.

No stars they are cheap and unloyal to the company community and most of all them selves. They pocket tips and kiss Astor customers to get more money out there pockets because they dont feel the need to work for it. The whole place has dirty money written on it. Dont go here you dont deserve it and neither do they. Disrespect to society.
