Purchased a Realspace® Magellan 59W L-Shaped Desk, Gray from Office Depot in July 2020. The desk is peeling in the front and side. Contacted customer service and the representative was extremely rude and difficult to deal with it. Posted a review on Office Depot.com with pictures of the desk and to my surprise they blocked my review. This Office Max location is excellent. We go here for all our small business needs. This week we had business posters printed and laminated for upcoming customer meetings. Amber and Ron in the print and copy area were excellent to work with and did a super professional job....very happy with the results. Thanks to the team at this Office Max location!!

I had an exceptional experience with Ron in the Print Center. He was incredibly calm and patient as I made multiple changes while he was setting up my job. The end result was perfect, and I want to both thank and commend Ron for his superior customer service skills!!

Very organized and clean store. Easy to find what you are looking for. Staff member stopped and asked if I needed help finding anything. At the cash register, there was a line of like 4 people and only 1 cashier. She did call for back up, but the check out process was still a bit slower.

Cant share the 5 star ratings other customers (?) gave. Went there to claim a discount coupon I got for recycling my printer cartridges. The clerk at the check-out (student?) did not know how to claim that coupon and to give me the rebate on my purchase. There was no one that could help him or was willing to teach him how to handle this coupons. The only girl that came from the other register to see why he could not close the sales, left with some remarks I do not want to repeat here. But she felt I should pay the regular price and forget about this coupon worth only one or two dollars. But I did not forget about the coupon and left by leaving the items I wanted to purchase behind. I dont care about paying the regular price but if a company encourage its customers to recycle and reward them with s rebate coupon, its staff should know how to handle it. There was also no apology from the clerk that he couldnt help, therefore to me it is a waste to spend my time and money there again.

First time at this location. Everyone very helpful. Store is clean and neat in all areas.

Ron in the copy department goes out of his way to show he cares. I was ordering posters and flyers to help me find my lost dog. He always had them ready when I went to pick them up. He even cut the half-sheet flyers with a paper cutter and had that done ahead of time without me requesting it. On the second day I went to pick up some flyers and I was thinking out loud that I didnt know if I had enough posters. Ron had me email him what I wanted from my phone and he immediately made them so I could get back to looking for my dog. I did get my dog back after she had been missing two nights. Someone who had a flyer that I left under their windshield wiper spotted her and called me. Thank you so much for your help, Ron!

The employee that helped me was great. I explained what I was looking for and he brought me to the area. He stayed with me to answer all my questions. Great customer service!

Im so fed up with the complete lack of service in this store. In particular the print department. Im done giving them my money. Just leased a high quality printer and am saving hundreds of dollars a month. Just today I asked for help to see if I could buy a ream of paper that I frequently order for flyers because I couldnt see that they sold 80# gloss cover in the retail area. First of all, I find it annoying that they wouldnt carry higher quality paper that they print on in their print center for the retail side of the business. And second of all, I find the print center staff member to be less than helpful. At first the guy said yes they could sell it, so we patiently waited for him to be done with his current customer. When he finished we asked to buy a ream. He told me they only sold it by the sheet and how many did I want. Didnt quote a price or suggest any other solution just stood there waiting for me to tell him how many sheets. So you cant tell me the price per sheet and you cant calculate the number of sheets in a ream and ring me up for that price?You know what? Never mind! Ill purchase online at a different retailer, ANY retailer beside Office Max. Staff here is perpetually unfriendly and unhelpful. Management argued with me when I was frustrated by a company policy. I WAS a regular and repeat customer. I had emailed a print file that they never received (a frequent occurrence). Im standing there in front of them with my phone and asked if I could please email them a link to a document from my phone as thats the only format the iPhone could forward a document. His would save me a trip back to my computer. Nope. Company policy. Cannot open links. I do understand the safety reasons behind that overall, but at manager discretion when a customer is standing right there telling you they are emailing a legitimate link, the company doesnt give management the authority to make a judgement call on whether its a safe link? And then when presented with an exasperated client you shut down all conversation and offer no apologies or acknowledge their frustrations? Just stand their and obstinately argue that theres nothing you can do. Thats customer service 101, you can still empathize, try and offer other solutions, apologize for what you have no control over. But alas, Im pretty sure there is no training of the sort at this location. Or at least its not been put into practice. So Im done. Ill drive further for what I need or order on Amazon.
