I only went to have some keys made. Unfortunately none of the four keys worked. When I checked them against the original, they were a smidge off. Im not sure if it was the associate who made them or the grinder that was off. Either way it was no big deal. The department was clean and stocked. Associate was friendly and helpful. I will continue to shop there, just not for keys. Lori Sue.

Daniel at auto center was extremely rude and made my simple oil change a bad experience. I went in this morning and was told by him that it would be an almost 2 hour wait and there were 3 cars ahead of me. Thats fine, I was dropped off so I was able to run some errands. I returned 2 and a half hours later to be told that my car hadnt even been looked at yet. When I asked Daniel how much longer it would be he refused to give a time and told me that I can leave if I want. Huge waste of time. He was so rude.

I have gone here 3 times in the last few days. They tell me 3 hours. So strange. Because I come back when they say it’s slow. I stayed an watched them work. Now I understand a 20 min oil change one car takes them an hour or more. Lots of standing around talking then work 5 min then talk some more.

Cant say enough about the guys the automotive center especially Richard and Alex. My friend got a flat tire while picking up groceries. I came to help him and we drove the tire to the auto center in hopes just to get it checked to find out where the hole was. Richard and Alex fixed it and then insisted on bringing it back to the car and putting it back on it for us ...true gentleman .❤❤ Thanks guys. There are still good guys in the world. 👍👍👍👍😁😁😁

Went in for a flat tire repair. Was told that they couldnt repair because it was on the side wall. When I told them it was in the tread, they changed their view and said they could not repair it because it was on the shoulder instead. They wanted me to buy a new tire (a size they didnt carry in store). I went across Grand Ave and had it repaired by the local tire shop. Man at the counter tried to work with me.

After paying the Nissan dealer $225 for a key I took it to Wal Mart to make a copy. My original was completely worn out so I was stuck going to the dealer so they could cut a key by the vin number.

Interesting at best. My Mom, Brother, and Sister went there because there was a strange beeping noise when turning the car. When we got there we quickly realized it may be a long wait. Which it was. While waiting there is not much to do. You are kind of in the back corner of the store with only car supplies in sight. However we later discovered this corner was near the toy section. So if you have a issue with hearing small children cry this may be a bad place for you to go. If you do however find yourself there and a baby starts crying you can always go straight out the door right? There is a separate entrance for the auto center but there is no way to leave without an employee opening it behind the counter for you. You would think then that it is completely fine. You just ask an employee to open it up. Right? No! Because of the lack of employees. There were very few employees there is general. And the ones that were there were rarely actually there. I saw multiple people try to open the door with no luck! So they walk behind the counter to see if there was anyone to help. But there wasnt. Now even though almost everything I have said so far has been negative, there is a reason I didnt give it a 1 or 2 star rating. It is because the one employee who was there really did help. They were out of time to give anyone else an oil change, so that meant they couldnt do much. But we went in there wanting them just to check why this beeping was happening. So that is what the lady did. She went out to check what was wrong with our car, and there was alot. Since there was no way they could do it for us, she decided to show my mom how to change the oil and do a few other things that were needed. With no payment for the help. This meant we just had to buy the things needed and go do it ourselves. This would have been easy if the lady would have just checked us out. But of course it couldnt be that simple. Instead she started helping another person while she was starting to get ready to check us out. So this meant we had to stand there for a while waiting. Then the phone rang. Since there was only one employee there at the time instead of finishing us she had to awnser the phone. This meant more waiting. But finally! It was done! We walked out of there after she pushed the button to open the door. She must have done a good job explaining because we quickly did what we needed to do at a much cheaper price then having someone else do it. So in the end the service was ok. She got what we needed done but it took over an hour. I think my 3 star rating shows that it wasnt a all bad experience. Since getting it done was the most important part I felt like I had to give them a 3 at the most. Everything else did add up though which means I couldnt give them any higher.

They got oil on the engine so it was smoking on the way home. Another cars driver kept pointing at my hood. I could see it but it was too late to go back. It scared me! I made it home but the next day I couldnt start my car and had to have someone come out from my insurance Co. He showed me all the oil .

Ok where to start. After waiting 8 minutes for help with no one in line in front of me julio helped with bad customer service. 1 .5 hours later with no phone call letting me know it was done . Then they over charged me for oil, when the car only takes 4.6, they charged for an extra quart. NEVER AGAIN. STAY AWAY.Tried to speak to a manager and they said he was too busy...

Janna should not be working the auto center everytime i come in and shes working theres huge line and it takes her more than 30 minutes to help each person, every other time i come in and shes not working everything goes quick and smoothly plus i had to explain how you rotate tires on a car because she didnt know im not saying she should be fired but she should definitely be put in a different department

To save money I bought tires here. You end up paying in time wasted by the excessive wait every time you come in. Wait to be helped. Wait to get done. Average wait...3 hours. Had to come back over and over for ALL 4 tires to be checked, balanced and the car to stop wobbling. The employees are nice enough though. Pretty sure they never have enough staff and the computer they use is ancient, theres only one and thats Managements fault!! Hey Walmart... WHY HAVE YOUR EMPLOYEES BENDING OVER ALL DAY staring at a TINY MONITOR THAT IS FAR TOO LOW?? The department is always busy and ONE computer, really? With a TINY monitor at waist level?!?! SHAME ON MANAGEMENT for allowing this!! Walk over to electronics, get a big monitor and hook it up... walk over to household, get a shelf and put it on their counter and raise their keyboard and monitor to a healthy, workable, productive level!! The 1 star is for the management of this department, or lack of it.

I went in for the things I needed to do my own oil change and an associate that was helping me suggested if I was doing an oil change maybe Id like to go to the shop and have it done for less then it would cost me to do it myself. I did just that. They had me out within 30 min! The guys were very knowledgeable and did a great job. Ill do it again for sure.

Went to this location with my mom for her Jeep. She needed to get her tires rotated before a long trip. We were told 3 cars were in front of us so we expected to wait a long while so we walked around and then sat on a bench by the auto counter. Another half hour later my mom decides to check on her Jeep and sees it parked outside in a different location. She asks about it and is handed a receipt with NO explanation! So then she finally asks, was it free? And he says, no, we couldnt rotate your tires theyre to worn. Well, hello!!!! Could you not tell us before??? No communication. Bad experience, but Im willing to give them one more try.

First off, my son needed tires,which required to be a special order due to the make & model. He was told that he only needed 2 tires, and can wait to replace the other 2. He chose Walmart due to the “cheaper” price as he is on a tight budget. He was contacted that the tires were in and ready to be put on. Then 1 day before his scheduled service he received a text to not head in for the service as scheduled as there is only 1 tire there. How are tires both there & ready one day and gone a couple later? Because he suspects they sold it to someone else. He was upset, because he then had to postpone his trip by another week. And had to haggle to make sure they were available by the following Wed at the latest, as he already postponed his trip a week & he needs to leave by Thursday 2/13. His appt. was scheduled for 7:00 a.m. on Wed morning. He showed up and waited in a line for so long I ended up going in to check on him (I was his ride). Apparently they just go by who is in line 1st for service, so why make an appt? There were a couple people in front of him & acouple behind him. I witnessed a guy pull up in a Charger directly along the front of the service area & walked in & immediately came out with a Service person rolling out tires to assist him. I witnessed another guy pull in beside me and he went in & got some antifreeze & was waiting last in line. He stood so long he began shifting in place & finally sat it on the floor, then picked it up and left the line with the antifreeze & put it in his car & drove out. By this point I went in to see what was taking so long to drop off a vehicle scheduled for tires. My son is at the counter being waited on by a guy so slow, he stated “ I was almost done & had to start over since he didn’t tell me he had an appt.” The lady waiting behind us rolled her eyes and sighed. As we leave the store my son tells me it took so long because when it was finally his turn in line the Service person recognized the guy who came in the Charger and left the register to go help him. So now he is just standing in a line with no one to help check him in. At about the same time that slow guy was there putting the cash drawer in & began waiting on customers. My son was not the only person annoyed by this action, nor affected by it. And he never got a call to tell him the car was ready, he just showed up after work. So, why say you will call? Now it is the next day, Thursday and he is about 10 miles away from home & the car is shaking uncontrollably. According to the Service Dept Manager the tires are not balanced when they are mounted unless the customer specifically requests it. I know this because I stopped in to find out the “tire” purchase & policy/process since I thought balancing new tires was just part of the process & would be added on to the service bill, but no, they only mount them. He stated to me, upon looking up the Service bill, “ oh it looks like we only mounted them”. I was told he could go to any Walmart to get them balanced. He went to the Estrella location & was told there is a 1-1/2 hr wait & they will call him. 2 2 hours later, he hasn’t even been called in for the service. He goes back in to check, and is told he is next so AGAIN she will call. They finally went to the parking lot looking for him, since they couldn’t find the keys. He says she was supposed to call me, and the Service person says, “ oh she’s gone”. He explains his situation & the Service guy says, “ oh it looks like they balanced them but something came loose”. So which story is accurate? I know this is long, but I thought it necessary to report it, because it seems like this is just standard practice. Why, because a woman who was waiting overheard me talking to the Service Manager & shared her poor tire service experience with me & is attempting to get her issue resolved. I will definitely NEVER return to Walmart for auto service. I will never trust them to touch any vehicle of mine since they can’t even get a simple tire service completed in a competent manner.

For a carry in battery warranty took 48 min after first being waited on, our associate, resides to take more interest in another associates customer, which he stalled on our transaction, even after he said needed a manager to process the transaction, but did not call for a manager until I got a word at him, 🤬🤬😠💔😵

Where do I start????? 4 1/2 hrs to change 2 tires. Then I come to get my truck and they took the new tire and put it on the rim of my spare. Clearly said in the notes that passenger tire was flat in the back of truck. Another 25 min waiting for them to fix that mistake. Wouldnt recommend and wont be back.

Terrible service, they had 4 or 5 associates standing around and we were quoted two hours to buy one tire, not a set but one tire only. No one seemed to be able to explain and no one seemed to be in charge. I would not recommend this place for anything related to cars.

I would recommend this location for oil change or tire check... 1)Lady manager would argue with customers infront of other customers. 2) Brought our car in for an oil change on a Friday afternoon and was told it would take about 3 hours. Came back the next day early morning. About 5 vehicles ahead of me and was told it would take 4 hours...? 3) Had been bringing our car here about 4 times in the last 2 months for tire wobbling. They said it was fine. Finally the last time they said the wire was showing... LASTLY... NEVER BUY WARRANTY without getting a written & signed statement buy the supervisor because they will always say it was someone else who promised you and you need to talk to that person specifically...

Litereally had to drive my car all the way home to take my own tire off. They said it was stuck to my hub and all I did was kick it once and it came off. With no problems. Also I got the wrong receipt and had no reason to check because anyone can get the correct receipt under your name and I get home and it’s the wrong receipt. So I don’t know it’s a 20 minute drive and I wasted my day there if you have soemthing to do or your on a time limit. Do not go there trust me

Not the best. Always an hour wait at least even if they dont look or seem busy. Sometimes friendly other times they really dont want to be bothered. Very basic services. In my experience so far if something is wrong they tell you at checkout sometimes but dont offer to repair it. Or give you an option, that wasnt what your initial visit was for so definitely not going to offer to do anything else.

Went to get a oil change waited for an hour and a half went up and asked how much longer they said it was done an hour ago . They never announced it was finished. Prior to this date I stopped in three different times and each time was told it would be a 3-hour wait. On two of those visits there was not one car in any of the bays.

I took a bad battery in on 1-3-19 600 pm. I was told it needed charged before testing. They said they would charge it in the morning because they could not do it overnight. I gave them my phone they said they would call me with the results. I returned 1-4-19 at about 6pm. I was asked if I had been called, no, I was told my battery was bad. It took till almost 7 pm to get a manager to come back and approve the warranty exchange 4 plus calls for support by the cashier.

Worst place to get an oil change well at least this location you call they pick up the phone and before you can even say anything they say please hold and put you on never ending hold also this is my second time back since I got my oil change first time they didn’t put the filter on right and my truck was leaking oil and before my visit here I had absolutely no oil leaks so they supposedly fixed well today less than 2 weeks later for another problem this is such an inconvenience so save your self the time and just go some place that actually has good reviews

Having car trouble, so went to pick something up. I wanted to make sure we had the right thing, so tried asking the guy here in the automotive department. He wanted to answer my question before I was done answering it. He was annoyed that I wanted to finish my question. unfortunately, he couldnt tell me more than what I husband and I knew and gave us no real help on the difference of the two products I asked about and basically parroted back to me the discussion between my husband and me, adding nothing of value.

Whoever did the oil change on one of my customers cars put the oil drain plug on so tight I had to use a breaker bar to remove it. They also torqued the oil filter way past spec, there is a reason their oil changes are cheap. Something tells me that this place is one of those places that will strip your oil drain plug and tell you that it was like that when it came in. Ive been a mechanic for 7 years, and in my opinion, this place is full of thieves.
