I used to live in Pensacola and during that time Price Busters and Games was my local game store. It has great and knowledgeable staff. You always feel welcome and at home. If youre ever in the Pensacola area, be sure to stop by! I been going here for almost 2 years it really is a great place Micheal is always helping us out and goes beyond to make sure we are taken care of if u like pokemon they the place to go

We spent the day in Pensacola for my fiances birthday celebration and I have to say this place was a huge disappointment for us both. The selection of games was very slim and most of the games were.. not really ones that are sought after. The employees werent rude, but you could definitely tell they didnt want to be there. I hate to be that person, but it was also off putting when the cashier mentioned to us and a few other customers that we needed to be a little quieter because an employee was about to go live on Facebook. I feel that there should be a separate space for the employee to do that. It was just odd/unprofessional. We were in another game store before this one, and we mentioned to the employees that we had planned to come here. A customer over heard us and spoke very poorly of the place, but we wanted to give it a chance anyway. When we come back to Pensacola, we plan to give this place a second chance and hopefully Ill be able to change my rating. I hate leaving bad reviews and I usually can find something good to talk about, but Im finding it hard with this place. For now, Im going to leave a 3 star review until we can give this place a second chance.

First time visiting this place.I was very impressed with the staff politeness.The staff was extremely helpful and courteous to me and my 12yr old son.Also I was delighted to see the plethora of comic books,accessories and all the gadgets!!!

Great place if you are seriously thinking of selling games and system do not I repeat do not go anywhere else. They tripled or doubled the price of anywhere else.

I walked into an almost empty store and neither employee even acknowledged my existence, nor did they once ask me if I needed any help, or assistance the entire time I was in there. They actually had a few products I may have bought, that the other stores around town dont have, but hey, if youre not going to even acknowledge my existence, I will just take my money elsewhere.

Pretty good sized game/conic shop. The staff is always great, they have games for absolutely every gaming system, sell pretty much every gaming system, and much more. They sell sports cards and posters, Magic cards, anime posters, and Funko Pops. Always have a good time in here and find a thing or two to buy.

The staff was friendly and cleared up some some of the kids misunderstandings. They had so many different items for sale that it would possibly take a week to see all that was on display.

Did a search online to find a video game/comics/card store, being that Im not that familiar with the area, and ran across Price Busters. Since I had nothing else to do for the work day, decided to hop in my truck and drive from NAS Pensacola. I walked in the store and no one said a word to me...no problem. I looked around for a bit, was actually looking for something specific. Mind you 4 to 6 people came in the store after me and casually received a greeting....weird. I could be wrong but there seemed to be at least three people working in the store behind the counter. Never got asked if I needed/wanted/can I help you with anything....hmm. I spent approximately 10 minutes looking around at video games, cards and comics....and nothing. So I walked out. Wont be going back to do any type of business with Price Busters.

We went in and bought a Wii U from them for Christmas. When we open it up Christmas Day, it wasnt working properly. I took it to the store and they went above and beyond the correct my problem. great customer service and very patient with us. I highly recommend this place. They have tons of games from the Atari system all the way up to the newest consoles. We live in Milton and its a great place to shop.

Great experience for my first time at Pricebusters. The amount of pokemon bulk they had was an amazing sight. Also, they had a decent amount of vintage singles in the case as well as other cards like basketball, magic, etc. The staff was really nice and very helpful for any questions that I had. I will be visiting in the future.

Price Busters, upon a recent visit, boasted being being one of the few LGSs in town that had available sealed product in a market where is supply is low, mainly due to scalpers. The boast was that the almost double or more mark up on sealed product was due to having to purchase their supply of product off the secondary market - a market rife with scalpers and tampered product. This encourages scalping and can possibly lead to tampered product making it into consumers hands.This is not a claim that the PB is selling tampered product.PB does have a rather robust market for singles and PoP collectibles and old games. The staff is friendly and eager to help customers get what they need.

If you’re feeling nostalgic for retro games, this is the place for you. Everything seems nicely organized, and the employees are helpful. Prices are a little higher than expected on certain items.

I’ve never seen a legitimate comic shop scalp so hard. Pokémon cards are way above retail from the beginning of their release and just keeps getting more expensive. This place should seriously think about changing their name from pricebusters, it’s comical at this point.

Used video games AND card games. Magic The Gathering, ps1, gameboy, xbox, baseball cards etc. Found some rare, awesome stuff.

Rude customer service. Michael(bald man) aggressively and disrespectfully told me do not browse the pokemon cards that were on display and had prices marked on them. When I asked why, when they had prices marked and were on the sales floor he replied I dont care, move along. Would not recommend, will not be going back.

Super Mario sluggers was too scratched and the game would freeze up every time we played. We took it here to have the disc resurfaced, waited a few minutes, and now the game works! It was cheap, quick, and a lot less expensive than buying another copy of the game. We will be back to have more discs resurfaced

I love this locally owned business!! The prices are unbeatable! The service is outstanding!! The best games and movies. This store is a must for any and all that love movies and or games. The customer service is superb and if they are out of what you want they will try to get it for you. The game systems are priced so cheap and they are all very good systems. I have bought many used systems and never had a problem. Please stop by and support this small business.

This review is only focused on the video game related side of the store, not the comics or the card game area. Almost all of video games, accessories, and controllers, are ludicrously priced, especially the Nintendo 64 controllers giving how loose the analog sticks and are priced at 25 dollars each. At the time there was only employee that was nice. The store was clean and organized for the most part.

The employees are nice & are very helpful. This place is great for retro gamers. They have a good selection of PS2 games to choose from. The prices could be a little bit cheaper though. Considering that there arent many selling retro games, theres not that many retailers to choose from.

This is by far the best shop I have ever been to. I live in New York and I really wish they had one up here. We went to visit my fiancés family in Alabama and found this shop and drove the hour drive on 4 separate days to come here. The manager and all of the staff are extremely helpful and friendly and when we have to move back to Alabama this is the only shop well go to. The prices are amazing also.

The service staff arent very helpful due to them specializing in their own niche. The store sells video games, cards and other game needs.I was left to a tablet and little to no assistance. Id go here to trade with others, but not to actually try and purchase anything in store ever again.Just as their staff said, Use the website. Or just go to TBS Comics.

Pretty friendly staff overall. It was nice that they worked with me to reduce the cost of a game that only had the disk. Id say they have a little bit of a markup of whats available compared to buying online, but if youre able to work with them for a closer deal, a few bucks is worth shopping locally.

Good people, fair pricing

I have to give you these guys of five, because every retro console I have brought has come from you guys and have worked with no problems. Now I must admit there is one person that is a little difficult to work with, but its not that hes a bad person he just seems to have too many things going on in his mind. I actually talked to him he was actually pretty cool Im talking about the really tall guy. But hey lets remember this is a business after all. I dont really play the card games Im a video gamer but I will admit if you need a retro game they either have it or they can find it for you and they will call you if they get it in, plus they getting new Comics as well as retro books and the dollar bin. In my opinion check them out I found a retro gem almost every time I go.

I usually love love love coming into the store. Awesome selection and the guys I deal with are normally wonderful and very helpful ! Ive never had a problem...until tonight. I never believed it when others told me that one particular employee was rude and down right disrespectful until I was in to buy a couple cards and he was rude, rolling his eyes and giving me dirty looks. Ill take my business to TBS or TCG player thank you.

I found one thing I wanted from this store... The only hood thing about it. The cashier who checked me out wash rushing me and rude to the man in front of me. I usually never get offended but I just didnt feel welconed at all because of this man. I would put his name out there but I wouldnt want that on myself.

My husband and I have been going here since they opened. Absolutely wonderful place! Everyone is always helpful and kind and they have done a lot for both my husband and myself. We are game collectors so thats the part of the store we know best. There is always new stuff on the shelves and the prices are fair. They always seem to match up with the average price on eBay, sometimes the games are priced lower than the average! Whenever weve had an issue with a game we purchased they have taken care of it for free. Their helpfulness and care is the reason weve been regulars for years and will continue to be. I dont know much about comic or cards so Im not one to know if their selection is good but I can for sure tell you its a HUGE collection and they always have something going on with card games or trading events. Last time we went they were doing baseball/sports card event with giveaways. Lots of people were there and everyone was laughing and having a great time. Also, always bring in games and systems here to do trades! We went to gamestop with a stack of really nice games in great condition for trade and they offered 10$ we left and went to Price Busters with that same stack of games and they offered us 67$. Im not saying theyll take everything you brought to trade, but Im damn confident they will be FAIR! I can not recommend this place enough and will continue to be a regular there for as long as they are open.

Ive had a bad experience due to a single associate multiple times. He acted like I was a burden when I was looking at magic cards and didnt tell me they didnt do orders during tournaments until I had already put one in. He then complained at me for putting an order in. It wasnt a problem for me to come back later until he started to act like it was a problem and like I was bothering him and he blatantly didnt want to help me. He was rude to myself and my friends that were with me. The other associates were very nice and helpful however and helped to correct his mistake.

My husband has been telling me how awesome Pricebusters was so yesterday I went with him to check it out. I have had not so friendly encounters at other comic/gaming stores, however Pricebusters was totally an amazing experience.The staff welcomed us, they were easy to talk to, and ordered a graphic novel for me that fit the niche I was looking for. We were also able to help some other customers build a magic deck. I felt so comfortable there that we stayed 3 hours! At other stores in the area, Id feel uncomfortable almost immediately. I could easily go up there and play games on my days off and connect even more with the staff and customers. After learning that they teach kids Pokemon and they give back to the community, I will never go anywhere else. This is truly a small business that cares about their community. If I could give more stars I totally would!!!!

By far the largest selection of sports wax and magic cards than any store Ive been to around here. Ben price and his staff are very well diverse in their craft. Game stop, tbs and home field combined dont have anything on pricebusters trade Ins payout pricing or selection. So dont waste your time In Those other stores..

Good selection but the customer service is WAY better at TBS.

I would personally not recommend going here for Vintage games. I came in last week for the fist time and bought a system and a game, got home and it didnt work. Today I was in to buy some other Nintendo games to only have the same thing happen again. The game does not work, so once again I have to drive 30 minutes to exchange it. Price Busters is 0-2 for me and I will not return. They do not test games out before selling them. People are nice but so are most people trying to sell things.

I have been shopping at the these stores for years. Staff has always been nice and answered any questions I have. They have almost always had what I needed. Definitely my good to place for games.
