This is a great trustworthy shop. The guys worked on my jeep and were able to put a new muffler on and working in under a hour. Veteran owned and a place Id recommend to anyone. Happy to have done business here and would go here again for any future issues.

I called several shops around to ask for pricing and general questions. And this shop told me that they charge 275$ for X Pipe.! Are you crazy.? Just to purchase 1 X pipe? So i decided to call other shops and their price was almost a little less than half of these guy’s pricing…That should give you an idea how much you will get ripped off IF you decide to have any work done here…Im attaching a X Pipe picture for ppl who dont know whT it is… Ebay have them for 25-30$ and they literally do the same job… jesus christ guys.!🤦‍♂️

Had family in from out of town and had brake issue with rental van. Owner acted very condescending toward my family member where I felt embarrased for them when he acted like it was not a legitimate concern that he had about how hard it was to stop the van. From the first phone call through the payment for services, John was highly professional, kind and thorough. I had a bad catalytic converter. John diagnosed which one of the two needed replacement. He had it replaced and had a new exhaust tip on there that I decided I wanted in about an hour and for a third of the price other shops would have charged for just the converter. Thank you, John. I had been to three different repair shops trying to get my exhaust system fixed/replaced. Nobody could fix it. Then the tailpipe fell down. I took it in the next morning and they immediately looked it over, gave me an estimate and fixed it. Not only did they do what nobody else could do, they did it for a lot less than the cost of a full replacement. I left very happy and HIGHLY RECOMMEND them!

I dont know squat about cars, and felt deceived after paying another shop $550 for a job that didnt do anything at all for my sound problem. I then took the car to Muffler Masters, skeptical to what they would say and charge, and if their work too would do anything to fix the problem. John said if I wasnt totally satisfied he wouldnt charge me a dime. That convinced me, and in the end I paid him in full for a job well done. If youre unsure about a problem, ask for John, the owner.

Came into the shop to put a magnaflow muffler on my 2019 Silverado. John advised me on what would work best and I decided to go with it. During the installation process John kept me updated on the progress all the while juggling multiple customers. This place is great! John the owner is very responsive and polite. They did exhaust work for me quickly while I waited. Later on I had a noise coming from under the car. I took it by to see if it was something from the repair they did. It wasnt, but he brought me out and showed me a missing bolt causing the brake calipers to rattle. He put in a new bolt and sent me on my way--no charge.

Recently brought my car in to change my mufflers for an axle-back I bought. The work was quick and the staff was super friendly. Would definitely return for anything exhaust related.

Before replacing the muffler on my 2006 Mustang V6, they asked if I wanted the catalytic converter replaced. I said yes. Over a year later, my check engine light is on for a O2 sensor. Come to find out, my car has two (2) catalytic converters and Muffler Masters only changed one of the 2 converters. I ended up with one new converter and 1 old (original) converter that lasted a little over a year. They did the work and never mentioned the car needed a second converter. I find that a little unprofessional.Response: At the time I dropped off my car, and during the discussion of replacing the catalytic converter, i asked if they would test it before replacing. I was told “NO, because my vehicle was over 10 years old, it needed to be replaced”. There was no test of the converter after I dropped my vehicle off and was then called and told I had 1 bad converter. It was prearranged at key drop off. So, your response does not hold true.

Wanted a Flowmaster removed. The owner fixed me up with a muffler from a newer GM truck, and put it on at the right price! He was glad I took it and removed it from his shop. I was happier for the quieter ride!!

A+ First Rate shop - Not a local but I am in the auto repair business and this shop helped my wife today with a loose muffler problem. They were courteous, prompt and honest. I had my catalytic converters replaced on Wednesday. These are wonderful folks to do business with. This was my first time and they make you feel like family. Will recommend them to all my friends. I usually dont write reviews for anything but man this place is great.Im not super car knowledgeable but I didnt feel like I was being talked down (like one so often does when they dont know a whole lot about something). They really did a fantastic job and explaining everything and were honest and good about their practice.

Called(7/1/16) to ask about cost and specifics on a dual out for my truck, John answered and was incredibly upfront and kind. He recommended I come down to the shop to hear what it might sound like on my truck (we have almost the same vehicle) so I did and about an hour and a half later I left with the same setup. Couldnt be happier. Gives my truck an aggressive sound to match its aggressive look and the price was more than reasonable. Id absolutely recommend this shop to anybody looking to modify their stock sound, Muffler Masters wont do you wrong.

I called muffler masters to get a estimate to install a muffler I purchased and pipe I planned on buying from them. He told me on the phone he only gave quotes in person. The next day I drove to him and after he looked at the exhaust he gave me a price to install my muffler and the needed pipe to make it complete. I then asked how much less it would be to install the muffler and use half the pipe needed to let it end not showing, and not purchase a tailpipe. He gave me the same price quote as the complete job. When I didnt just say ok heres my money, and questioned him, he became rude and said I need to take my business elsewhere. Not to mention the quote he gave me was twice as much as I got elsewhere. Needless to say my dollar will not be spent there.

I had gotten a diagnostic done on my car that read I needed a new catalytic converter after noticing my check engine light came on and found this place. The price was reasonable and they only took 30 min to complete the job. The owner, John, even took me to the garage and showed me under my car what they had done and checked on everything else to be sure there were no leaks and no other problems. Highly recommended.

First shop that the owner seemed interested in helping me out. I had bad catalytic converters on my f150 (the truck was losing power). He took a 10 minute drive with me and even offered to cut the pipe check the cats and if they were good reweld the pipe for free! New cats installed and my truck feels like it used to 10 years ago!

As it was, I was not completely happy with the muffler that I chose (yes, I chose it after the try it before you buy it service that he offers) and did go back. John recommend an alternative, installed it, and charged me a VERY fair price!Its not often this type of service can be found today and I highly recommend John and his crew!

Recently came to the shop after a referral from another shop in Pensacola because of a rattling heat shield on my Subaru. Was absolutely blown away by the customer service, expertise and professionalism of everyone there. Long story short is that they were able to take care of it immediately (despite my arriving near closing) and it cost less than I ever would have imagined. Not a big review writer but this is the least I can do after the help that they gave me.

Muffler Master and Brakes is very friendly and helpful. I brought my own muffler to them to install. Installation took only one hour. I dropped in and my truck was on the lift in 15 minutes. I will go to them for all my exhaust needs in the future.

Little pricey but they got the van quiet

Had muffler replaced by them and an exhaust leak fixed here. Charged me way too much for the job and installed some off-brand muffler that rusted out in under a year, even though they claimed it was “stainless steel”. After having the job done I had to return because they incorrectly hung the pipe causing it to knock against the frame and make an obnoxious sound. Thought they fixed it the second time, but turns out I was too trusting. Once I realized it was knocking again I just took it to another exhaust shop across town. Told myself I was done until today when I needed a single gasket fixed. Decided to get a quote from them because they were located close to a place I was going anyway. They came back and told me it would be $300 to replace a single donut gasket. Told them it was outrageous and went somewhere else. Don’t go here unless you would like to pay exorbitant amounts for a poor job.

In and out in less than an afternoon and was priced quite reasonably, with a warranty! Fantastic shop! John (Owner) was great. I got a dual exhaust w/ 4 chrome tips for my 2016 GMC Sierra. Mike the installer let me hear 2 different exhaust options to see which one I liked better. The entire time during the install he updated me and called me out multiple times to ensure the placement of tips were up to my liking. Less than a week later I got a hand written note from the owner thanking me for my purchase. I couldnt be happier with the service or quality of work. A+++++++

Since they close at 5 p.m. I did not think that they could get to me that day, but John Armentrout was very accommodating got my car on the lift and fix the leak within 30 minutes. Very friendly and honest. Brought Honda in and they ran a free diagnostic and shared the information regarding findings. Was not pushy and overblown with cost and recommendations. I was referred to them by my personal mechanic which to me speaks volumes of trust. I hate having to deal with car problems so it helps to have a trust.
