I found the young saleslady (I believe her name was Shavandria [sp] ) in the Jewelry department to be very helpful and professional. I was pleased to find the item I was looking for and with the service given.

Quality is definitely a thing of the past, went shopping for jeans today and all the different styles be it bootcut, skinny jeans, straight leg were all mixed together as well as all the sizes were mixed up together. everything was in nice neat stacks but everything was mixed together. it used to be that you would have a stack of size 6 size 8 size 12 and then each one of those Stacks you would have the different lengths. But nope, lets just throw them all together so that we have to search and look at every single pair of jeans only to not find what we are looking for...If you go to a store like this did you pay more which I dont have a problem with but I go with certain expectations because I am paying more... At this point in time in my experience Walmart is better organized than expensive JCPenney

Nowadays its so hard to find good help, but thats exactly what I found when I came to JC Penny in Pines and met Nishat service with a smile, great personality and so helpful made my shopping soooo easy

They have great selections, but sometimes they dont honor the prices that are on the product, they need someone to constantly monitor the prices .

The store is neat and clean. The prices are good. They have a salon, eyeglasses, photo, and much more. The clothes are a hit and miss with me. Im not too big on fashion. I keep it simple. When I find my style I purchase it. The associates are all different in their approach to customers. I come here often, too often and I can chime in on customer service. Few employees are very helpful, others treat you like you are bothering them. Employees should not talk about the customers after they leave. Well at least not in front of other customers. Thats very rude. The worst part neither employee have the decency to say this is not the time for this. I tend to ignore bad services but that is not good for the company. Thats one of reason I tend to shop online. I dont have to deal with the associates that seems to be having a bad day. I wish they would bring back the scanners to check for the prices. Its a hassle to bring all those items to the register and leave them there because thats not the price I assumed. No wonder the employees are miserable. It may be from over working because of all those go backs.

I went to pick up a jewelry order. Shakira was the best. I could see her smile thru her mask. Love it. Shes the reason for the 4 stars. If it werent for her, I would have given 1 star. Some of the ladies in jewelry take themselves too seriously. I was overlooked by three different associates. Came with a purpose. But thats ok. They didnt have the advertised item.So you have to option to shop online and have it shipped to the store for free.

I purchased a ring on March 17 and it needed to be smaller ; I was told it will take 10 business days but as today April 23 nothing; I have pass by and they say is not ready and I have call to avoid waisting my time passing by to see if it is ready but no answer in any department or the operatorNo wonder this big stores are closing !!!! no customer service anymore!

I went to the store in the Pembroke Pines Mall. Its the usual JC Penney store. My sister bought a ring from a nice young lady name Shandrine or something like that, she was very thorough & knowledgeable in her sale.

I purchased a gold necklace in Nov 2019 to give my son for Christmas. I bought the JC Protection plan as well. Two months after wearing, in February 2001, it broke. I took it to the store at the beginning of March, then Covid came and didnt see the chain until the store reopened four months once. The chain broke again three more times. Brought back to the store and each time, it took a month to fix it. Today is the fifth time I have taken it for repair. However, after the third time, I asked for a refund or a store credit because it was obvious that the chain is faulty or of very bad quality. I was told by JC Penny that it was too later for a refund I was past the 30day window, so now it was up to Asurion, the protection plan to determine whether it couldnt be fixed anymore. I called Asurion, to see if they could help me, but it was a waste of time. The representative was rude and did not offer any solution or reasonable options. She told me that one option was that if I didnt want the chain to be repaired any longer, I didnt have to send it to them. I considered that offensive and lack of professionalism. My plan expires in November and after that Im done. I would not recommend buying jewelry at JC Penny nor purchasing their protection plan. Neither entity responds for the quality of the product you buy. Terrible customer service!!

Great for ladies plus size work pieces for the younger professional. Plus size section located upstairs, the ladies are amazing. Joanna who checked me out had such a warm and gentle spirit. Needs improvement on maintaining adequate supplies, especially for items that are on display. Merchandises needs to be better organized. They do have pretty good sales prices, but you just have to search intensely to find what youre looking for.

I found all staff was no board, smiling and and offering help. Most of all as one who loves the season being in your store gave me the feeling of Christmas as I had felt a bit sad not seeing the usual activity of the years gone by. Thank You!

We found some good things to buy but trouble finding a place to check out. I know stores have cut back to bare bone staffing but people dont want to hunt all over for a manned checkout and then wait in line for a half hour.

I took family portrait at this location. Staff was friendly and helpful during the process. Restrooms were readily accessible especially with the two little ones. CV heck out lines were not ridiculous long but it may be due to being a weekday. Overall, no complaints
