I love Big Lots! One can find many name brand items here at reasonable prices. I also like the speciality item that I often find at these stores. My find this time is Old World Pickled Baby Beets; I cant wait to try them! This chain also offers a store reward program and Military discounts. The associates are always friendly and helpful, and the store is organized.

I want everything they have. I purchased a recliner, and let me say it is so comfortable, I dont use my sofa/ couch anymore, I love my recliner rocker, price so reasonable. Staff great, friendly and and attentive.Go and get you something.

I havent been there in about 15 years. Still a very nice place very friendly peoples. But prices are a little higher than back then. Because back then whatever the price was it was always a great price.

You know how you sometimes hate to walk into a store and ask for help? It Is no longer that way when I walk into the Pearland Big Lots. I just want to say that the manager Carl is so kind and helpful - he has helped me on numerous occasions and its always a pleasure to shop this store because of that - it makes all the difference. Ive not only seen him do this for myself but for others as well and always with a smile! I wish more people were like him. Thank you Carl!!

Good store most days

Honestly, I had never been to a Big Lots until re cently. My fiance and I went and at first, I was a little skeptical because I was so used to shopping at Walmart that I went in with the thought that theres no other store that Ive been to that can even come close to a Wal-Mart or any of the super centers. I was in Big Lots For a total of may be 7 1/2 minutes and I was changing my mind. they are like another version of Walmart, and Target stores. They all do have their differences though. The difference I noticed right away, was of course, PRICES. Walmart and Big Lots are prettymuch running neck and neck on their prices but, I think we all know where the even bigger price tags lie, Target, I love you, but you got to get them there prices down. I like Big Lots and I will be trading off between them and Walmart, just to keep things fair. Nice work Big lots, you made me think outside the Ole walmart Box... You guys are awesome!

I picked up a new king size gel memory foam mattress the other day. All the employees were friendly and helpful. This location isn’t the closest to me, but they had what I needed so the drive was worth it!

I previously purchased apple cider vinegar supplements. I wanted to repurchase. I didnt see them in the section I saw them before. I asked a couple of the associates and they had no idea what I was talking about. Was told they didnt carry them. I went to another big lots store. Didnt find them. So disappointed.

Very rude! I called this store to verify if they had any more hammocks in stock, the female employee stated that there were some in stock. I quickly arrived to the store, I live approximately 10 minutes away... I walked into the store and there was one female employee standing there socializing with two male employees. I asked the female employee if there were any more hammocks available, she said no, I told her that I called Etc to verify and she repeatedly said no. She didn’t even bother to check in the system and continued to laugh and socialize. She and the male employees were clearly bothered that I interrupted their conversation to ask for assistance. What a waste of time and poor customer service! I should have known better because this is not the first time this has happened to me.

Beware Buyers! I purchased a full living room set 6 months ago and I noticed small holes on part of the sectional. Since I purchased it via Progessive Finance the extra insurance coverage was not an option. Bottom line is Im SOL! the furniture is not worth the $1,600.00 I paid. It didnt even last a year. Beware Buyers!

They close the door 20 minutes before closing and give an attitude when you try to come they remind you of hours and give an attitude. It really was not necessary. No wonder no one comes here. There are people in need of jobs right now. Just saying.

This is to corporate office am a 69 year old woman and I was in big lots on 4/21/2020. Marcus rocio on the corner of main and 35 I was about to check out ! he started a big argument with me and my freind over a placement mat that was 99 cents !he did not want us to have it at clearance!he started cussing and became hostile and violently lefty a painting I was buying and swung it to hit me !shot the middle finger at us and told us to get the hell out of store!we called the police with out allowing us to buy! We’ll never be back at big lots

Im really impressed with their customer service! They went out of their way to make sure that I had what I needed and made it quick and easy. I didnt have to lift a finger for all the cube storage shelves that I bought and they were quick and efficient too.

I dont like Big Lots my wife does. For the most part I find things hard to find and a little bit scattered everywhere. But this Big Lots was the best Ive ever seen it was pretty cool inside I guess they just remodeled and it was really large could be your go-to spot

My wife and i made a trip out to big lots Sunday afternoon to see their inventory of furniture. They have some really nice stuff in the showroom. The couches are really nice they have different sectionals to choose from and nice beds and frames all at great prices. We love their kitchenware section to there is lots of gift ideas.

I can easily spend a couple of hours in here. The variety and quality of the merchandise is amazing. I love that they have name brand furniture on floor for unbelievable prices.

If youve never been to Big Lots you are missing out on an awesome experience. Yes its a discount store and I do typically buy some needed items but the real fun is going through the food isle. They always have stuff you would never find in the local grocery store, things from all over the world. My wife and I love this place.

First time here, found some good bargains some groceries higher than Walmart

This store is more than a little ghetto. Bathrooms are a nightmare. Dont go in there and youre gonna sweat the whole time, but they have some good deals. Decent kitchen and grocery section. Cleaning and hair products. Good deals on totes, hangars and organizers. This is a good place to pick up mason jars on sale occasionally too in the late summer.

Mostly empty shelves today. Almost looked like are going out of business. Did not find what I wanted and left.

Affordable prices but the employees are rude and unhappy serving customers lack of management I should say causing delays on the counter to proper directives to where the customers needs to fall in line. Only I cashier open I fall in line and pay and then when I pay cash cashier said card only I said I have no card. That leads to delays the transaction and people became uneasy waiting online. The cashier needs to switch at the other counter to finish my transaction.* poor management to where why you there’s only one cashier open during busy hours and it’s confusing to where there no signs to say card only not all people pays card*one of the female staff standing there don’t even have the courage to assist and fix the problems to make it quicker*nice place I should say. But wrong choice of employee* feel sad for the owner that his/her business was compromise by this kind of employee.

So supposedly the store offer curbside pick up i arrived to the store and a guy come out and says you have to come on to sign but would you mind if i do it for you i said no because i have two toddlers and is hard for me to get out of the car Danitha the store manager she said came out to me in a mood like she wants to fight me she said you have to get out and come sign because he can’t do it for you what is the whole point of having curbside pick up if you still have to go inside the store and sigh but the arrogance of this women was unacceptable I wanted to complain to the store and guess what she answered with the same arrogant voice tone terrible customer service and no they don’t have curbside pick up because you have to come inside the store to sign and no empathy at all when she saw me that i had two toddlers TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I cant say much. I just went there to work. I do inventory so I go to a lot of different stores. But the employees seemed nice and helped to customers.

Excellent customer service. My wife and I purchased a couch from this location a couple of weeks ago and have nothing but positive things to say about the gentleman (I believe that he may have been the manager) who assisted us.

Very clean store. Been shopping here since we moved in 2000. Employees are very attentative when you first walk in and greet you. Mgr always offer to assist you in locating an item and reaching high places. Restrooms are located near front registers so its better than having to go to back unlike some other retail stores who have that set up. When buying furniture they are quick to offer you an third party number since they dont make home deliveries nor assemble it themselves there but its nice when they can recommend someone . currently the air conditioning is out of order but theyre trying their best to keep the store cool by stationing fans all around the place. They also participate in raising donations for children hospitals which is 100% guarantee to go towards them so thats always great to hear

I go there because I found out they sell really great coffee cheap over a pound for five bucks. Just as good as Starbucks or Seattles best or Petes incredibly good italian roast and espresso roast.

This location does not have near the selection and organization as the others I have been to. The pet section needs to be stocked better with more products. It needs a bigger location with this being the only one in Pearland. The store manager never speaks to you or greets you when he sees you. He will be standing at the front of the store or walk right passed you and not even acknowledge you. The employees however do.

I was very disappointed they had no hymalayan popcorn. Very hurt. We went to 3 locations. Nasa, Pearland, and Kirby. Is this a discontinued item.

Centrally located in Pearland, this is one of the few stores that try to keep things stocked and clean, its just really busy and packed quit often.

I always love coming to their stores and spending more than I wanted to spend.
