I went to the store to pick up something I had ordered online. The lady at the service desk was very helpful and even offered to open the package for me! The store was very clean and organized!

This store is pretty clean and well organized. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The location is good and the parking is not too bad either.

Young man at checkout helped us tremendously ... He showed us how to set up app so we could use 20%off coupon. He saved us almost 90 dollars on school clothes . Great staff .

I loved my purchase. However I am concerned about their cleanliness and sanitary conditions. Was there right when they opened Sunday morning. The dressing room was a mess. Clearly no one cleaned up or sanitized at closing or opening.

I love JCPenney they always have what I’m looking for. I was able to get in and out in a timely manner.

Good prices but if you need assistance good luck, first is very hard to find somebody then most associates do NOT what to help, their responses basically run you off

Took me more than 30 min just to pickup an online order (clothing). Was passed around by 3 different people to a counter who wasnt manned for more than ten minutes. Finally the person who manned it showed up, and looked like she was having a bad day. If it wasnt for the free shipping i would just have the item shipped to my house.

This is one of the cleanest JC Penney stores Ive ever been in. The one I usually frequent has cluttered racks and disorganized aisles, so it was great to be able to shop a neat store. Penneys is one of the few places I can find pants that fit me well, so Ill definitely be back.

What happened to decency and good customer service? I waited in line over 30 minutes to pickup an online order. The one lady working who took forever helping one sweet old lady, waited until there were 5 people in line before she called for help. I didnt mind as she was being kind to the lady. Then she took the lady behind me in line, skipping me for no good reason....other than discrimination, maybe??? There was no good reason to skip the next person in line! I was simply ignored. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because the general manager was apologetic and it seemed like she was going to address the issue. Who knows if she did or not, but I will not return to that store. Sadly disappointed!

This 5 Stars rating goes to JCPenny @2500 Smith Ranch Rd., Pearland, TX 77584 and not to Online Sales. A certain Ms. Mary today at the Online Pick Up counter so well resolved my issues and showed understanding and willingness to assist I would have cancelled all forthcoming order had it not for her. Online customer care sucks and deal with customer concern as if they are the only place to go. The person I spoke to refused to honor the price they quoted and asked me to pay more or cancel. Obviously I cancelled the order and vowed to cancel all others in transit to the store. Ms. Mary is the kind of person that cultivates friendly relationship with customers continue to shop with this location. Online customer service dont care!

Very very very slow. When asked if they could call a manager to get more cashiers because there was about 20 people in line and only 4 cashiers and 2 of those cashiers had the same customer for over 10 minutes, we were told they were the only cashiers working today. Then when one of the cashiers finished with his customer he left leaving 3 cashiers and still about 16 people in line. Definitely will not go back to this store!

I hadnt shopped inside a JCPenney in years, so I didnt know what to expect. I was there to purchase sunglasses Id seen online. I was greeted at the door with a fun scratch off coupon, the store was well stocked and clean, and the employees were quite helpful. The check put process was very quick. I was mostly surprised by the sales. They had some pretty big discounts and combined with the scratch off coupon, I saved more than I spent. Ive been back twice already!

Havent been to thus jcp for 2 years because i had such a bad experience shopping here before at this location. Finally decided to give it a go again and to my surprise they did a wonderful job organizing and the staff was so much more pleasant this time. I will be back again

They always have sales. I dont like the buy one get another half off. I like the discount on the tag and not forced to purchase something else to get discount. J C Penny was awesome at Christmas time. The girls loved their gift cards I purchased at Xmas time there.

The older man that works in the suit department was a real jerk I asked him if sport coat that they had on sale online was 24 he said NO you must be blind you need to put your glass on, I swear on everything theres nothing with that price here! So I took my phone and showed him he said ooooo well tell someone in there order department and there was a really nice young lady that help us and I told her about the man and she went with us to look for the product. When we are there, their was another man asking the older man excuse me can you help me I saw this sale in the paper he said well look for it here Im going to brake 🤦‍♀

Store is well kept and service is solid. Have not had any problems. The store can get packed, which is normal but then waits can be a little long. That is to be expected tho. I love the addition of the Bed section to the store.

Got portraits taken there and the woman did a lot to get my son engaged and got some great shots.

Majority of what I wanted to diversify my wardrobe was bought here. I went as far as hiding a few pieces of clothing and came back 2 days later and they were still there. Awesome

I do not know why my wife sent me here to get our granddaughter a couple outfits. First of all, there were no associates around to provide assistance. The girls section did not have much of a selection of clothes to choose from. Thankfully, we managed to find some items from what was available. It was the same scenario when we went to the shoe section. My granddaughter found nothing that was appealing to her in the girls section and we ended up making a selection from the boys section. Do not expect much in the shoe section because if you do find a pair of shoes that you like, good luck on them having your size. After we finished getting everything that she needed, she tried everything on and then we made our way to the register. I was feeling good as I was expecting savings at the register as the shoes were buy 1 get the 2nd off and the clothing items were 40% off. Shockingly, my total was $196 and some change for 2 outfits, 2 pairs of shoes, a pack of socks, and an extra shirt. I had to the question the cashier if all discounts were applied because I have bought 2 times as many items at Ross and spent a little over $100. From the beginning, I knew the 40% signs everywhere were too good to be true. While you do get 40% off, the original prices of the items are already high, so youre really not getting the savings that you expect. I have always recognized this tactic whenever I shop anywhere, but at this point of the day, I was too tired to go somewhere else. JC Penney is a good store that I remember my grandmother going to when I was a little boy over 40 years ago. Times have changed and it is not my desire to support them the way my grandmother did. I can tell that JC Penney is no longer the store that it is used to be as I only saw at most 5 associates working, if that, and about the same number of customers.
