I have patronized several Home Depot stores in thr greater Houston area. This Home Depot on Broadway in Pearland is one of the best.The store is clean with good merchandise presentation. The Garden Center is my favorite department.The store is well staffed with friendly associates. I had a pleasant shopping experience.

On July 5, 2021, at @7 pm, I went to pick up an item that I ordered online. I received an email mentioning that my item has arrived at Home Depot with some damage. When I arrived at the Home Depot, the associate kept saying that the item did not come yet. I have shown my email that I received from Home Depot; however, the associate had an attitude and was not willing to understand the situation. Finally, after 30 minutes of conversation, it was found very next to the counter on the shelf. After mentioning the incident to the manager, the manager was no help either. I didn’t want any more help from the associate as I felt stressed out and left the store without the item.It was the worst experience I ever had at the Home Depot. I was shaking when I left the Home Depot. I hope my next visit will not give me any stress because of poor customer service. Above all, I hope no one else experiences poor customer service.

I was at this location at the appliance department there was a customer in front of me which he left when this employee didnt help him either and when I asked her for a dishwasher she showed me a washer and dryer she got mad when I told her thats not what i was looking for she told me with terrible attitude that shes not going to answer questions twiceThis happened on sep. 16 at 12:55pm

Just a quick stop got some perennial mums. Visiting from Missouri my mother and sister.

Worst cashiers. I saw a line that stated line for cashier. Was a bit cornered where self check out line is. I walk over to self check out line and another cashier and self check out rep makes me feel like I am skipping line. Funny thing there was a lady who was free to go and self checkout herself. When my turn this guys says I am skipping line and need to go and wait in the cashier line.I visit home depot more than 100 times a year and am Progold customer.This incident really was embarrassing where other people in line thought I was skipping and when technically I was not. Need more respectful staff members

We bought a few gift cards that was worth up to $1400 for my dad for his birthday to help with a remodel and the store would not allow him to use them and forced him to use a credit card and said he had to use those cards for something else! They said they will not use it if it wasn’t in stock. Now my dad has $1400 worth of cards he will not need anymore because he had to pay for it himself. I will not be buying any more gift cards from here, very unprofessional. I just canceled my Home Depot credit card as well and I will continue to tell everyone else not to get gift cards for their loved ones because they can be screwed like us.

I only ever go there for the plants and they always come out with fresh batch of sun baked goodies (get it?) Haha! Friendly people and always a nice selection of different plants to choose from. Its organized and neat which is a plus since you can totally see all the colors of the rainbow throughout the store. Great selection for flowers and the succulents as well. Cant forget about the veggies plants too!

Got paint here and the young lady was just as excited as I am to see the finished project . So sweet. Also made another trip or 2 and everyone was super helpful and nice.

THE YOUNG KIDS THAT WORK IN THE GARDEN CENTER ARE AMAZING!!! I needed several bags of mulch for my yard but my SUV could only hold so much. I asked the kids how many bags they could put in my car and they got to work. These kids filled my car to the brim with mulch bags. They were excited to help. I enjoyed them so much I came back with Gatorade’s for them. These kids were amazing! Thanks!

Workers were attentive and knowledgeable about the items I needed. I was greeted and asked if I needed assistance. Customer service representative was able to get my pick up items quickly and checked me out efficiently.Baskets were put up and not scattered all over the parking lot.

Not the best experience. In the past I have found Home Depot customer assistance to be very good. Lack of willingness to assist very frequent. Would not check to see if item was in stock relicated in the store or on reorder. Was not a busy time at the store but multiple associate are often grouped together talking to each other rather than assisting customers.

Difficult to find an employee to ask about location of items rather then wondering all over the store !!

Love this place. My home away from home. I could shop here every day. I prefer shopping here than the mall. Lol I always feel I need to buy something every time I go there.

Nice store lay out was good staff was ok not rude but not overly helpful but prices are still very reasonable you may be treated differently than I was so you can make your choice there competitor is just down the street a mile or so to just FYI

The only problem is no matter how conservatively I write my list and do my best to stick to it, I ALWAYS find several additional things that I absolutely must have... Fortunately they also have good prices or I wouldnt have a home or the need to buy things from the depot. Haha...

Just like most Home Depots it has almost everything you want sometimes they get jammed up with so many customers the poor staff is overwhelmed with people wanting everything instantly and not wanting to wait, otherwise all Home Depots are good stores.

Friendly help great plants

Its Home Depot. You can find a large selection of Home Improvement products. We went to pick up some door trim. Was really helpful having a little work bench right there to be able to cut the amount of trim I would need instead of carrying around 12ft long pieces. I asked an associate about some adhesion product and she didnt know anything about it and didnt try to find anyone to be able to answer my questions. Luckily I was able to find some answers online. The tool selection was a little light. Could have just been due to the holidays but the only brand they had for sockets and wrenches was Husky. Not my first choice. All in all pretty decent store.

They really dont have a good selection of anything like they used to.

Bought 2 gallons of Behr Premium waterproofing stain today June 2. Suppose to be $3 off each gallon through today. Nope register didnt recognize it, happens all the time here.

Young kids, dont know how to drive the forklift nor load up or tie down anything, wth are they there for. Cmon guys hire someone who knows what theyre doing.

For all your home improvement needs. I particular like the guys in the paint department. They are on top of it and really helpful!

I have had the BEST experience at the Pearland Home Depot!! The staff are so helpful every single time I am in this store.*SHOUT OUT*!!!!! Ty in lumber is an absolute dream to work with; he is efficient, knowledgeable, and his customer service is just amazing!! I was building a gate, and he helped me choose the perfect pieces of lumber. I was worried about whether my saw was working properly, so he cut all the pieces for me before I went to check out. He truly cares and wants to make everything right.Wish I knew the names of all the staff who have helped me at this location so I could mention them all! I will always shop at this store!

Not so good....three times..trying to buy a wheelbarrel...nobody knows where their at...an there are none in the store!!!! Or outside!!!

Waited for 25 minutes for some one to come unlock the cage to get a drill. If you do not need help this store is fine. If you need any kind of customer service you are better off asking the walls!

Couldnt find the thickness of Sheetrock we were looking for but was given direction to the Pearland store that did.

Bad service, representative had an attitude, didn’t want to help me and made it difficult to look for the item

Been going here since 2010. If youre going to buy something and leave with it that day, everything goes smooth. If youre trying to have something installed or delivered, make sure you have a backup plan. Try that experience once every couple years, always the same. Deliveries cant be made on time, installations cant be input until two or three days later, always something.

The manager was unbelievably rude regarding my issue. I bought a Cub Cadet Zero Turn mower from them and they dont sell blades for it. As of now, I havent found any on Cub Cadets site, Amazon, Tractor Supply etc. I have no idea what Im going to do and they wont take it back.

Our cashier Sothy was awesome! This is how everyone should be. Happy they got a job to provide for their love ones. Thank you Sothy!

Im a professional remodeling contractor and the bad thing about home depot, is that tgey. dont have a pattern on how they organize their items bays, every home depot store organize different so when im visiting a store and looking for example chain link fences materials i find them on the garden department and when i visit another i find the same materials on the opposite side by the roofing materials.

Had a great time... I was like a child in the candy store. The employees were very helpful and greeted us from the time we got the front door.

I have been going to this home depo for years hoping something would change about the place, you can never find a worker they are all in the back holding the walls up,I go in to get help on a project nope nothing the only reason I gave this 1 star is so I could write this review, they lost my business for sure

I have try to purchase a tool box after seen a good deal all three times they had the wrong tag and dont honor the price on it . Is this some kind of scamme or your employees are extremely incompetent ?

I always get help from associates when I visit Home Depot. Im rarely disappointed in the associates and their ability to find the items I need.

Curbside delivery was not a great experience. Young man brought leaking bags of pool salt and tossed them in my van. I mentioned that two of the bags were broken and spilled. He said, ok. I asked for two new bags. He reluctantly replaced them. Didnt offer to clean the mess he made in my vehicle.

Getting busier these days. I wish they would require masks from the patrons. See too many actively spreading something.

I dont visit the store often, so I dont know what an average visit here is like, but todays visit was five stars. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and it barely took five minutes to get what was needed, check out and leave. I expected there to be a wait because the cashiers were having a conversation amongst themselves, but, unlike other places I have visited, they put customer service first, stopping their conversation until after I had checked out.

They always have what I need, but you need to know what it is your shopping for.

My husband sent me to home depot in the middle of his project for more wood. 37 pieces of 5 various sizes and most being twice my height. They called Raymond to come help and he brought a crew. They loaded the cart and had me out in 15, plus they loaded and secured the load in my truck. They are a great example of how seamless team work can lead to a great customer experience. Very well organized, great prices. We shop here very often. Usually get great service but today the young lady at return service wasnt very friendly or happy for items we returned.

Ordered something online about two weeks ago. Said it was supposed to be here within a week. Tracked the package and it says it was delivered already to their mailbox but still no update or call or pickup email.

It was good, very helpful at a different location it was at pearland.

Went in through the garden center and the elderly cashier was very friendly and helpful. Checked out the new selection of vegetables and herbs. Thought it was too early to be marketing them. I sense future cold spells within 3 weeks. Future stock list for certain. Great store and service.
