8/10/2021 I had ordered three party trays of garlic soybeans and three dozen yellow Oreo cupcakes for a dinner. It was easy ordering as I went to the bakery and poke section to order both items and paid for them so the pick-up on the day of the dinner would be quicker. The garlic soybeans and Oreo cupcakes were delicious! They have prices and food items for parties listed on their website. The only thing that would make this service better would be that when you pay for the item you receive a receipt with the item, date, and time of pick-up. I just kept my receipt and showed that on the day of pick-up.8/5/2021 Foodland Farms is fast becoming one of my favorite stores! I needed a chocolate dobash cake and I also picked up a tuberose and carnation lei. They have a great assortment of flowers and leis! The dobash cake was light, fluffy, and not too sweet. I also bought some adorable melamine saimin bowls, a serving spoon, and saimin spoons that were printed with cute spam musubis, and other local food items. I love that Foodland Farms has a lot of local items and a section that features them exclusively (close to the refrigerated flower cases). When family and friends visit from the mainland, I can always go to this section and find a gifts for them.7/3/2021 I stopped by to pick up a dozen of those delicious caramel cupcakes but boo, Foodland doesnt make them anymore. I got yellow Oreo Cookies & Cream cupcakes instead. They were delicious but I was disappointed that theyll no longer have caramel cupcakes.6/18/2021 I had walked in a few times before, just to browse. They have a huge assortment of groceries! Today I was looking for cupcakes to take to a dinner. Wow! Their cupcakes are nicely decorated. I ended up buying the caramel cupcakes. They were a hit at the dinner. Everyone agreed that they were light, fluffy, and not too sweet. Im not a fan of frosting but this frosting was delicious and didnt taste oily. A little girl ended up eating 3 cupcakes! Her mom said, They must be very good cupcakes because shes picky. Seal of approval!

The kind of grocery store that makes you want to buy everything in it. Well organised, clean, with a large selection of dishes ready to buy and eat in a minute, including poke. In normal times, there would be draught kombucha. The overall kombucha selection is pretty meagre. The downsides ? It’s absolutely freezing in there, making me leave a lot quicker than expected, and the breads that the store labels itself have so many preservatives and chemicals, that I wouldn’t be able to put them in my body.

This is the newest Foodland Farms in Oahu and it doesn’t disappoint. The Pau Hana Bar serves up amazing food and drinks with local beers on tap and a mixologist serving up a variety of cocktails. More than 40 types of poke offered here as well with three flavors only found at this location. The prepared food section will keep your stomach happy. Did I mention there’s an okazuya here too. 👍🏼👍🏼

Wow! Today was our first trip out to Foodland Farms Pearl City and it was an eye opening experience, to say the least. Not only does this store carry the usual inventory as the other Foodland stores but they also have a lot of other items other Foodland stores do not have the space to stock. Unlike regular Foodland stores Foodland Farms Pearl City has a butcher department that stocks the best cuts of beautiful cuts of meat, smoked meats, and some pre-made shish kabobs and burger patties all ready to toss on your hot grill. They also have a fish department called the Fishmonger that sells fresh fish, fresh octopus, shellfish, scallops, sashimi, and even tentacles!Another unusual feature for a store is a bar that sells liquor and invites people to sit down and have a cold drink after a hard days work. The wide selection of Poke offers a fantastic variety of pupus to go along with the drink of your choice. The Poke counter has 3 sections as opposed to just one section like most of the regular Foodland stores.I also noticed their selection of fresh lei is much larger than other stores and the fresh cut flowers and potted plants make nice impromptu gifts or a decoration for your table or patio.I was also impressed with the wide variety of bentos. The display featured a beautiful selection of bento combinations that is sure to please the pickiest eater.Another surprise are the bulk natural foods such as nuts, dried fruits, seeds and cereals reminiscent of Whole Foods and Down To Earth Natural foods. Indeed the bentos reminded me of Shirokiya. It seems like the planning and foresight that went into this Foodland Farms was well thought out in anticipating the needs and interest of potential customers. There are several counters of prepared ready to eat foods that again reminds me of Whole Foods and Down to Earth. I believe they charge $8.99 per pound so you just select the foods you want and it is weighed at the check stand when you checkout. With the number of choices youd be able to eat several meals if you took only a tablespoon of each type of food they offer.Their organic produce section is also a lot larger and neatly arranged. I didnt bother taking many photos of the items normally offered at Foodland stores but focused mainly on the unusual extras this Foodland location offers. We wish we lived closer to this Foodland because wed definitely shop here a lot. Visiting Foodland Farms Pearl City was a surprising and satisfying treat for us. You will find a bunch of happy employees who help you with a smile. The energy in the store is really clean and positive. Do yourself a favor and stop by Foodland Farms Pearl City when you are in the area and have an extra hour to meander through the aisles. Take a shopping cart because youd be hard pressed not to walk out with anything in your cart.

I went to Foodland Farms Pearl City on its Grand opening day, and it was crazy. There were a lot of people waiting for the door to open, and it took me probably 20 minutes to walk from the parking lot through the store doors.Once inside, the store is large, probably larger than the old location near Daiei. On the left side of the store, there was the checkout areas and grocery aisles, while on the right side, there was the fresh-made food area: a Burrito Station (which youre able to make Burritos and Tacos) a Sandwich Station, and a self-service food bar, with a variety of foods from your hot main dishes to sides and even a salad bar. Towards the back, there was a Poke bar. In the middle, theres an alcohol bar.The staff here is so friendly. I was looking for a particular brand of soda, and an employee helped me find it (it was in the next aisle from where we originally looked) and every employee answered my questions and concerns with aloha.I know it was the grand opening for the store, and Ill come back at a later time to explore the store with less crowds, but to me, the move was worth it for Foodland.

Weirdest shopping experience of my life here. First of all, there’s a bar inside? That was funny and surprising and I definitely want to get a drink there. However, I went there for like 5 easy things and they didn’t carry some of them. They didn’t even have dishwasher tabs. Store is so weird and super over priced. I will only go here if it’s an emergency lol.

Foodland farms is going to be the premier shopping experience in the Pearl City area. Foodland farms has taken over the babys R us in Pearl City and it is the best use of the space. The old foodland was getting old and run down and this was the perfect opportunity to take this Great brand and take it to the next level. They have the grocery store and have added everything you can imagine. HI steaks, a pizza, sandwich, burrito, chicken, poke, sushi and okazuya bar. Pau Hana bar, that has its own menu There is nothing you cant get or do here at foodland farms. Parking may be tight, thats the only small down fall I see at this location but this may be a small price to pay for a store that offers so much. Where else could you do dinner drinks and food shopping all in one trip ?? Well right here at Foodland farms.

This is the first time Ive left a review for anything, Im sorry this has to detail a poor experience.Went in for a quick run about 8pm and picked up a half chicken with two cold bar items (cut kabocha and some korean spinach). Despite having a label for May 12th, both of the cold bar items were slimy and smelled rancid. The convenience of the ready to grab food is amazing, but coming back home with rotten food was a huge disappointment.

Great store and the employees are helpful and friendly. Never a long wait to be checked out and the variety of prepared foods means every craving will be fulfilled here. Prices are clearly marked, shelves are neat and clean. Tonight I had a problem with my purchase and the manager, Neil, who was bagging groceries, immediately took care of it. Then another manager, Derek, in customer service, fixed another problem I had and was very apologetic. See, it doesn’t matter how many problems I had, what matters to me is their willingness to right the wrong and make sure I leave a happy customer. This wasn’t a dreaded chore to shop for groceries but an enjoyable, total experience. I’ve gone the last 3 nights in a row! The only con is parking can be difficult and if you catch the bus you’re out of luck because busses don’t run on Kuala. Many thanks to Neil & Derek!

I grabbed stuff so you didnt have to. Nishime, potato salad, spaghetti salad, vegi tempura, hamburger steak, seafood bake, spicy chicken and a musubi. Came out to about $20 with a drink. Spaghetti salad was go. Close to Shiros. Vegi tempura was crispy but could have been dried a little more to rekove excess oil. Hamburger steak was japanese style but less wafu and more meatloaf. If you like meatloaf, you would like this. Spicy chicken was good. I think the seafood bake is the only thing i wouldnt have again. A bit too salty but would be good with beer and lots of rice.

Luv the Calabash Meals, Sashimi selection, decent price for oysters and luv that they have a hawaiian food aisle (lau lau, poi, etc.), fresh vege & fruit aisle & also their Maikai Coconut Water yum! Decided to start coming here instead of kapolei due to this store being closer to where i live. Came in this past Sat. morning did some shopping and as i was bagging some groceries, a security guard came up to me and asked if i paid for one of the bags in the wagon. Asking if the groceries in the wagon was paid for. This is a First ever being approached like this. I asked the security guard if he wanted to see the receipt and all i got back was a blank stare. Very unprofessional and instead of approaching someone in a rude way and with an accusation he should have talked to the cashier if he had any questions. Well I really appreciate the cashier for apologizing and also the cashiers has been great here even better than kapolei.

Its nice to finally have a huge supermarket in the Pearl City area. I picked up groceries that I always have to search for/are out of stock at other places. Theres a wide range of fresh food. That said, the check-out line always seems to move quickly. My new favorite grocery store.

I grew up directly across the street from Foodland. As a kid I saw them build the shopping center when it was just Foodland and Shop Rite (a drug store where the food court is), Don Quixote wasn’t built yet. I’ve seen the store evolve from its humble beginnings, seen staff come and go almost like family. After retiring I’ve stopped there on auto pilot to get my morning coffee and banana and will often stop by later in the day when my wife texts me a grocery list. I’ll miss the convenience of the old store but was really impressed when we stopped by the new store today when it opened. I look forward to seeing the old familiar faces and new ones at the new store.

I gave it 2 stars because of the flies flying around the food by the okazuya, salad bar, hot food and the eating areas! The employees were shooing away the flies by the food bars. Then we’re trying to eat in the dining area and the flies were flying around and on the windows. That just ruined our appetite! Maybe you should put that air blowing down thing at the door so that would detour the fliesAll in all the food is delicious. We made a awesome salad and got a bento.

Selection of foods and deli eats is fantastic. Best on the island. Poke bowl is quite bad. I bought a bowl on Saturday morning and youd think its fresh. I ended up throwing half of my bowl away because how chewy and gross the poke was. Its obviously not fresh at all and been sitting out for awhile. Parking situation is bad. Really bad. Instead of circling the lot with twenty other cars whos looking for parking you might as well just park at Walmart and walk. Whoever put the biggest foodland on the island never thought about the parking situation???

PROS: The place is quite clean and spacious. They carry a lot of fresh items available in stock -- especially fresh fruits and vegetables. The staff workers and cashiers are helpful. Great poke and poke bowls. Prices are reasonable.CONS: There is plenty if parking in the area, but it gets crowded really fast. Foodland Farms do not sell sambazon acai juice. Back then (when foodland was adjacent to Don Quijote), they would sell plenty of sambazon acai juice next to the produce section with its own dedicated fridge.Overall, still highly recommended for grocery shopping.

I was put on hold by Evelyn and then about a minute later, I was greeted again by Evelyn, not the seafood department. I then asked to speak to the seafood department once again, and she said she would transfer me. This happened repeatedly about six times until she finally decided to just hang up the call. Very slow service, run out of rice and didn’t inform us before we ordered. Order was made incorrectly, hamburger was over cooked, almost no gravy (loco loco), employee while serving rice said that’s all we have and that was it. Recooked the egg ordered scrambled cake over easy, left the styrofoam plate (With loco loco inside) on the fryer and burnt a hole the size of a baseball on the side and bottom of the plate. I pointed out the hole, cook said sorry and transferred the food into another plate. At that point the loco moco looked like a mess (I’ll try to post a pic of what my dish looked like).
