Picked up 3 separate orders, tried all items on while in store, got back in line and returned items that I did not want to keep. Nice and easy and sales associates were super efficient and cheery. No complaints! 👍👍

We found a pullover for my daughter in a clearance rack for $7. When I went to the register to pay for it, it was $5. Good deal 👍.The associate at the register was professional and friendly. Lines are marked for social avoidance, err, distancing at register. Facemasks required to enter store. Staff were wearing facemasks. Hand 🧤 sanitizer available. No Massachusetts sales tax for clothes that total less than $175.Store was clean. We didnt go downstairs because we only wanted to purchase one item. Escalators available.

When understand why stores are closed and people are not kind at all. They have no proper bags they wont hold your stuff while you continue to shop and just totally unhelpful.

We had a session at the Potrait studio and we had a very pleasant experience. We were late for the appointment but the staff were very understanding and were able to put us on a waiting list just incase the following appointments cancelled. We were lucky we got a spot after an hour wait and it was worth the wait. The photographer was very professional and made the whole experience so much fun for the whole family. In light of the ongoing pandemic we felt safe. 🙂 The pictures came out GREAT!!!

I was at the JCPenney at the Burlington Mall the ground entrance and Stephen who was a young boy checking me out I had a coupon that I received in the mail from a flyer yesterday I went to use it towards my purchase and he said oh its already been used so what the heck are you talking about I just got it he said well its raining in already used I should have never heard of such a thing I mean if its already been used why dont the people take it I just got it today he said no I cant use it so I put everything back and I will not be back to JCPenney

Bought a ring here about a year ago, we were never offered a protection plan when we purchased the ring. A stone recently fell out of the ring, we brought it in today to see if we could pay out of pocket (since we didn’t have the protection plan) to get it fixed. The girl at jewelry barley gave us the time of day. She went to look something up in the computer, after talking to us like an idiot because we didn’t bring in the receipt, came back and told us they can’t do it.

I love the clothing, the sales, the cleanliness of the store, and the professionalism of the workers. The only thing that should be improved is to post a map of the store so we can navigate where to go or add more associates to ask where things are. I am handicapped and have trouble walking long distances and ended up wandering aimlessly looking for a certain section of the store. By the time I got there I had no energy to stand any longer and shop.

Nice store, well stocked with items. Clerks are clueless and slow. Plan on being in line for a while at the register on a weekend.

Worst place for shopping.(Peabody store)I brought a jacket from here in the month of nov 2019 (not in thanks giving)By using gift card $108.00Now I can see the stitches are not good and it’s is opening from few places.I called customer care and they said go to store they will help you.I went to store today and they asked for receipt...eventually I was not brought this to return hence didn’t kept the receipt.These store people first keep me waiting for more then 30 minutes and finally when the contact person came she was super rude and extremely poor in customer service...she said if you found the same jacket we can see if I can do something... when I found one she said no the color is not same (which she haven’t mentioned before)Now she wants the same identical one which was not there.I asked now what ...and she said she can’t help me...bcz I do not have the receipt...I didn’t brought with the intention of return moreover still I don’t want to return I want exchange...Can you believe that she replied me saying may be I intentionally tear that or starching that....I asked her do you think I am mad that I will do all this with my jacket...and it is furry jacket why I will pull that...I now have to search the receipt if I want the exchange...But it is really bad experience with this store...

Me and my mother have been shopping at the Peabody JC Penny for years. So we have spent roughly thousands of dollars in that store and we have never experienced such rude service as when we were there this past saturday with the manager Rosa.There was a display of lunch boxes (roughly 30) with a giant sign that says 70% off. When we got to the register unfortunately the ones we grabbed were not Rachel ray ones which the manager explained were the ones on sale ( but they were all on the same shelf! If only rachel ray was on sale 70% and the others were 50% then there should be distinct signs !) It was not only that she said we grabbed the wrong ones but it was her tone of voice and rude demeanor that was a huge turn off! So when we went back over to grab Rachel ray ones ...... THERE WERE NONE !!! .... so you have a huge sign that says 70% off with not a single lunch box that goes with the sale and when we found her again and brought this to her attention all she could say was well those are the ones on sale..... and walked away! you didnt even try to correct the wrong advertisement that is your job to do not did you even offer us the other lunch boxes at the sale price ! NOTHING !!! JUST A RUDE ATTITUDE ! Horrible management! And I will never shop there again! I go out of my way to go to JC Penney .... it is 40 minutes from my house and I traveled there basically to be disrespected by Rosa the manager

At the Northshore Mall in Peabody. Access is fairly good via 128, but parking can be hard because this mall gets very busy.

Needs better lighting in the store so you can better judge color patterns in clothes in order to make matches, ESPECIALLY in Mens suits. What seems to look good under store lights might not look good outside under the sun!

The portrait photographer was extremely nice and professional. She was very patient with us Although we were extremely late.

I looked them up and saw something I wanted on sale and brought it to the register. The clerk told me it was full price, and what I showed him on my phone was only an internet price (not stated on their website). There was a coupon with it, but he said that was also internet-only. His reactions and speech were slow and his expression was flat; he might have been stoned. I didnt argue, just put everything back and left.I suppose I could have turned around, ordered it online, and picked it up in the store, but that would be more than this company deserved.

Terrible experience. Reiceved a coupon in the mail for $10 off purchase of $25 or more went and bought two qualifying items equaling over $25 and was told I could not use the coupons. Had to argue with a Donna for five minutes. I kept asking her to show me where it said I couldnt get the two items or where it they were excluded but she said she couldnt see. What a joke. Their customer service is terrible and Donna should be disciplined. Will definitely avoid shopping there due to their poor customer service.

I went to JC Penney to purchase a gaming shirt for my Granddaughter on sale for $5.99. I tried to purchase them and other items online but just about everything I put in my cart had sold out before I could check out! I checked store inventory and it showed the size was available at North Shore Shopping Center. The department was a mess, I had to search through piles of shirts and the staff couldnt help me. I bought 2 different shirts and as I was leaving I happen to check a stack of basketball tee shirts and found the gaming shirt I was looking for in the bottom of the pile! The employees stated they didnt have time to organize the mess left by the shoppers!
