As usual, work done quickly and on time. In addition, James found that the oil drain plug was loose because the aluminum pan threads were wearing. He threaded in a new sleeve to repair & guess what? He did the extra work at NO CHARGE! Ever see that happen at a dealer? Thanks James!!

Getting a tire blowout driving on 128S in Monday morning traffic is NOT the way to start the week. Called James @ NS Motor Werks after my call to AAA and as always was greeting with a friendly voice. One year ago, I purchased a 2002 BMW 325i as my first vehicle. I knew it needed some work going in, and considering the fact that I was going to school to be an auto technician, I planned on doing much of the work myself. I quickly realized, not long after starting the work on it, that much of it was above my abilities, so I decided to drop my car off at NSMW. Sure enough, my car needed a lot of work. The guys here gave me a fair price and with the amount of work that was done, and on top of that, it was also done quickly.Now one year later, after doing a great deal of work myself and furthering my knowledge in the automotive field, I still end up dropping my car off here for the more involved repairs and I have to say, they’re still the same awesome automotive shop that I went to in the beginning.Most recently, I had a brake line burst. Fortunately, after seeing that the leak wasn’t that bad, and that I was fairly close to the shop, I dropped my car off late on a Tuesday night, and despite the fact that the job was quoted for 6 hours of labor, I had my car back on Thursday afternoon. Again they were fairly priced and prompt in getting the work done. Even looking at work myself, it was done properly and looks good too, no more rusty brake lines under the rear of my car. Anytime my car needs work that is out of my skill level, I’ll definitely take my car back here.

I’ve had several major jobs done here and have always had a great experience from start to finish. James and his entire team are extremely knowledgeable, professional and have done nothing but exceed my expectations every time I have left my car with them. They have tackled everything from new turbos, almost a complete suspension overhaul, clutch / flywheel, carbon cleanings as well as plenty of smaller jobs along the way. James and his crew are fantastic, have been able to fit me in when Ive had a couple emergencies and have done quick oil changes too. They are professional and I trust them. When I would go to the dealership, I was constantly harassed by the upsell, NOT here. They know what my car needs for scheduled maintenance. Brought my car to the BMW stealership for routine oil change. Vehicle was also throwing a code for low oil pressure.Service tech says they wont be able to perform the oil change due to plastic debris in the oil filter vindictive with timing chain guide failure they say this is why im getting low oil pressure and that the engine is in danger of catastrophic damage or complete failure if i dont repair the car at a total cost of $5600.00I left very disappointed seeing that i always go to the dealer for oil changes i was baffled that this is happening to me. I decided to park the car for 2 months while i look into my options and get a second opinion along with a more reasonable price quote.Almost like a sign from God one morning i woke up and decided to do a local search and i type into Google BMW Indy shop Northshore and you guessed it North shore Motor Werks pops right up and i was highly impressed by all the stellar reviews so i called immediately. The guys there immediately got on it and called me back with a $2800 quote significantly lower then BMW for all the same parts.Upon further inspection North Shore Motor Werks found only 1.5 quarts of oil in my vehicle hence the low oil pressure and a borescoping of the engine revealed no visual damage of timing chain.. guides.. sprockets.. and no plastic debris anywhere!..Im not sure why BMW under filled my engine and im uncertain why they tried to scare me into a $5600.00 repair but what i will say is ill never return to the dealer again. Found my new BEAMER family at North Shore Motor WerksIn the end i paid for labor of scoping and oil change came out to $270 go figure... Always get a second opinion or go to North Shore Motor Werks and get it done right the first time.

Each time I schedule maintenance for my 2019 BMW X5 they step up with a loaner vehicle and our ready when I show up for my appointment. This time James and his team saved me well over $1,700.00 by recommending that I speak with BMW about a TCU problem. When I spoke to BMW they agreed to fix the problem at no charge. Amazing experience, they made everything very easy with their text messages that allowed you to choose which services you agree to have done. They work with you and actually tell you which ones they recommend you do not like most shops that would just say everything is required. I brought my 08 335i there also my 2016 340i there many times and every time it is simple and easy.

I moved away from a nearby area and now drive down 40-50 min to have my car be serviced by them. I took my daughters MINI Countryman in for a general ‘fix everything that was wrong’. Originally I took it to a MINI dealer so they could do their one over for the vehicle. They gave me a long list of stuff that was needed. I told NSMW what was on the list and they went through it and told me what was actually needed and what wasn’t. Couldn’t have been happier and couldn’t have felt better about my daughter driving the car safely and not have to worry about it breaking down.After that I took in my 328 because my rear tie rods were frozen. They were able to take car of that and the car has never been so smooth. They also did a once over and found some small items that I was glad to have them take care of.As long as the fair pricing and great customer service continues, they will have a customer for life.

North Shore Motor Werks, worked on my 2016 BMW M3, and did an oil change, spark plugs, and a DCT fluid change. Everything went super smoothly, fair priced, quick, and provided a loaner. Will be bringing them my BMW again, for other service needs in the future. Thank you NSMW Team!

Ive been taking my BMWs to NSMW since they came off warranty. Ive found James & his crew to be reliable, do excellent work at fair prices, and be totally honest. They have never suggested work that doesnt need to be done and, when they find an issue that doesnt need to be corrected immediately they make me aware of it and provide their honest estimate of when it should be done and what to watch for. I believe that James, Jorge, and the guys treat my vehicle like their own. When they found something that required correcting a dealers recall repair they told me and gave me the option of returning to the dealer to have it corrected.To top things off NSMW is usually 20 - 25% cheaper that the dealerships repair quotes and they provide a free loaner if I need it.If you need repairs on your BMW or other German made auto, I suggest you try North Shore Motor Werks. You wont regret iT
