My brakes failed on the highway on a Wednesday at 5 pm. I was a half mile from this Meineke and chose to take a chance on the shop. Everyone I dealt with from start to finish were accommodating, professional and presented with a smile. I didn’t have an appointment but the technician promised to squeeze me in Thursday to diagnose the problem and get the work the following day. They let me informed throughout the process. When I picked up my car Kirk informed me of available discounts. My final bill was surprising less than I anticipated! I will be a customer for life referring all my family and friends. I am very pleased with my good luck on stumbling on this repair shop. Very satisfied customer!!!

My daughter’s car became disabled on the weekend while in the north shore area. Based upon the reviews and my knowledge of meineke, we made the decision from NY to have the car towed there; Obviously without an appointment. We were able to facilitate the necessary repairs from 250 miles away. The store manager/owner? Kirk, was accommodating, patient and must be a parent as well for the attention he and the store gave to the task. I would have no reservations in recommending this shop

Great local shop. Its right on Rt.1, but Ive lived a mile or so away for 10 years. This is the third time Ive brought my car there, and walked away feeling I got a big job done well for a very fair price!This past visit I was getting a second opinion to PepBoys $700-800 estimate(that had mysteriously jumped their first estimate of $350.) I dropped the car and picked it up in the afternoon, and walked out the door at $300.Last time I was there the front exhaust pipe flange had cracked, and it was suspected the bolt had or may break. But the job got done, also asap, for much less than what the next guy had estimated. Great experience all around.And I had a muffler replaced one year, that was done about as cheap a I could have done it myself. I also live one Rt.1. My neighbors have referred me right there several time. These guys have a great reputation!

My rotors suddenly started making a loud metal on metal sound. I called Meineke in Peabody right away. I was told to bring it in as soon as I could. I was very pleased for the prompt and great service I received. I would highly recommend Meineke in Peabody.

I highly recommend and will definitely go back. (Only slight downside is that the work on the car took a good bit longer than originally estimated.)

Very busy shop . Took the time to inspect my exhaust when I pulled in . Diagnosed the problem, gave estimate and scheduled appointment for two days later.Did the work on time and under estimate. That doesn’t seem to happen for me very often.

I felt the oil change and tire rotation was quick, but the other point (brakes, tire tread, and others) inspections were not done and even when I asked about it they said they couldn’t do it when my car was up for tire rotation, and didn’t do it even after I specifically asked about it when I called

Staff was very friendly and I did not have an appt but they took me right in. After he noticed my service engine light was on so he checked to see why and seen it was my gas cap. He didnt have to do that but did... shows they care and go above and beyond just on an oil change!

My appointment was at 2:30 I got there 20 minutes earlier and they took my car in right away and I was done in 15 min. Then a young gentleman who works at the Peabody location I forget his name but he wears glasses and has dark wavy hair he came out to show me that my air filter needed to be changed and explained why. Everyone there is friendly and polite.

They were extremely helpful, called for appt and they ordered the right filter for my mini to have ready when I got there. Was very quick friendly and the best price I’ve had in a long time.

Finding a good mechanic is hard, if you dont know what you are doing it is easy to be taken advantage of. You will never have to worry about that at this shop. I called them a few minutes before closing time about a muffler issue. They were friendly and professional and told me they would look at it in the morning. I dropped car off using drop box that evening and by 8:30am the next morning they called to give me 2 options to repair or replace. I chose the cheaper and they were done within 2 hours and the price was exactly as quoted. Will definitely use them again!

Made an appointment for an oil change on line and called to see if I could come earlier than I’d scheduled. They said yes and I was there in under 5 minutes. They took my car in right away. Quick, friendly service. Easy access right off Rt. 1 North. Building and toilet were clean. Good magazine browsing and hot (Keurig) coffee available while I waited. In and out in 20 minutes. Price with coupon was competitive ($24.95 + disposal fee, tax. So $32 and change total). This is the second oil change I’ve done there and I’ll return again. Would recommend this location. (241 Newbury St. Peabody).

Once they got the car in fast and clean. Made appt for 2:30 car did not get in until 3, asked for synthetic Oil they only used regular.

Oil change general maintenance even put air in tires & didn’t have to stand in line !!! fresh coffee !!!

Id give them 10 stars! These guys are knowledgeable and trustworthy. After taking my car to two other shops to fix a bad oil leak, I decided to drive down from Maine to take my car here. I knew I had an exhaust leak as well and theyve done great work for me in the past so I trust them. It took an hour or so of looking and testing, but the mechanic (possibly the owner of the shop?) found the problem. He even brought me into the shop to show me and take a photo of it. He repaired the exhaust issue, but the leak was beyond the scope of what he could do there so I had to take it to the Chevy dealer. They agreed with his assessment and made the repair. It was totally worth the 2 hour drive to have them look at my car.

I have been going to Meineke on Rt 1 in Peabody for as long as I can remember. Obviously the service was awesome and Jerry the manager made the experience great.Sadly I went there today and will never go back.I had a rattle from a loose exhaust heat shield. They to me there was nothing that can be done and it was just a bad design and I had to live with it. I have never heard that something couldn’t be fixed.I left very disappointed and went down the street to another station and they literally only took five minutes to easily pry the 1 foot long rotted heat shield off. They sent me on my way with NO Charge.I lost a one good service station with this new management.

Stopped in for an evaluation of an engine rattle. Kirk (manager) Took the time to go over everything with me. He’s very fair with his evaluation and pricing and expectations. I highly recommend dealing with the shop because they are honest and on top of their estimates. Even though I don’t live in the area, I felt this was a very trustworthy shop.

Got a coupon for 20% off an oil change in the mail usually go somewhere different but decided to give them a try. When I got there they told me the coupons were only for the packages and I should get the regular oil change and just upgrade my oil but you can’t use the coupon on that.... I asked if they take competitors coupons for $10 off a synthetic oil change they said no.... they get you to come in thinking you can use a coupon and the $70 oil change will cost around $58 but nope my oil change was $68 and could not use it.... disappointing and feels like a scam to get you to come to their business!!! Oil change was ok nothing special they don’t top off your washer fluid or anything like the other place I go that ends up being cheaper for more services!

Went here for an oil change, and found very nice, honest people. Will be going back again.

I chose this location for an oil change in December because they were having a special: your next oil change would be free. When it came time to get my oil changed, I looked at the card they had given me. On the back, it said it was only good through January, which would be 6 weeks from when I had my oil changed the first time. When I called to ask if this was correct, the man I talked to was rude and quite frankly couldnt care less. Completely misleading special. A free oil change that you have to use within 6 weeks of the first one? Ridiculous.

$480 for *just* replacing break pads. 2.3hrs of changed labor (I sat there while they changed them and it took and 1.5hrs). Go somewhere else.Note: the customer service/staff was very nice. I just didn’t realize how overpriced they were until I got home and did my research. Lesson learned.
