These guys are great. Gave me new tires ASAP when my gardening truck got a screw in the tire.Even when something else went wrong with the tires a week later they got me in and fixed it in record time.Really appreciate these guys.

So thankful and grateful to Century Tire for the FAST and quality work. Traveling from NJ in an RV, realized we had a blown tire. They were able to have our RV tires replaced the same day and super friendly!! They made a blown tire experience a great experience. To top it off, the owner gave my son, husband and father free tee shirts!!!! They will wear them proudly in NJ!!!! Thank you again.

Yeah so Im posting 4 stars so people can see my warning. First of all rude staff. Anyone who knows anything knows 70$ is too much for a small oil change. Owner has a superior attitude and and seems to think the only reason to do good work is if the car owner is willing to pay out the nose. These people are common in this area and this is the only reason they are still in business. Dont be a sucker or they will take advantage. Those one star reviews are accurate.

I came to this shop looking for a simple alignment simple job. The individual took it upon him self to do a full car check not needed. And. Charged me over price. The man was rude. Threw the keys at me and told me to leave. I have never been to a more unprofessional auto place I don’t recommend it. Smh

Go in here for a little help with something I don’t have the tool for very easy job. The owner did not want to help just tells me we don’t lend tools I wasn’t asking for something for free or to borrow a tool. I would of paid whatever he wanted to charge me for 5 min job but the owner to good to help a fellow small business owner oh well he could of serviced my fleet of vehicles if he wasn’t so smug. I’m in the middle of a job so I probably look like a bum but this is why you don’t judge a book by it’s cover.

My son took his car there. They said he needed a fuel pump. They said the cost was going to be $1,500. I bought the part for $200. It took me 35 minutes to put in. I asked them how they Justified charging $1,500. The owner got angry and hung up on me. He wanted $200 for the diagnostic. I told him no way. It takes 15 minutes to hook it up to the machine. We ended up paying him $86 for the Diagnostics. Now he gets this negative review. Bad way to do business.JUST TO UPDATE THIS REVIEW. . 2/1.Brought my vehicle to a second mechanic. Mechanic found that the old fuel pump was good. It was a $40 fuel pressure sensor. Cost me $40 for the sensor and $35 for the labor. Two bolts. Total time 4 minutes. This is why nobody can trust most mechanics.

Ive been bringing my cars here for years. Most recently, I brought my Lexus in for my brakes and and an oil change. The thing I love about Century is that they are always honest and upfront, and they dont tell you that you need something done when it isnt necessary. Their pricing is fair, and their staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

My daughter was away from home, and her car wouldn’t start. She called AAA, and they towed her car to Century. She has 100% coverage by AAA, a gift from her grandparents. The tow truck charged her $4/mile cash only; $12 from Lynn. No receipt. Not sure if Century controls the tow truck who brought her there, but this is wrong. Century did a diagnostic, with her permission, found it needed a new starter. $135 non-refundable diagnostic fee, even if they do the work. That is when she called me. We opted to not have them do the work, and after I objected to the fee, he charged $75 instead. She had them tow car to Newburyport. $85 cash fee. No receipt. Tow truck driver ask what was wrong with the car, because they drove it on to the flatbed.Had a professional check the starter. 100% fine. The problem was the key fob had a weak battery. That is all. This place is a complete rip-off. My 20 year old daughter is not familiar at all with car mechanicals, and they took advantage of her. Shame on them.

I rarely need repair and replacement of tires. I just end up going to the same place, its a small independent shop in downtown Peabody. The prices seem fair, and if they cant repair the tire they will call. Ive gone elsewhere once but that was only because I needed a repair that day and they didnt have availability.

I have used them for not only Tire purchases and repair., I use them for auto repair and service.They do an outstanding job, provide excellent service. They are all very friendly and helpful. That are also upfront and honest with pricing and services needed. I highly recommend them.

Disrespected in person, asked for a simple in person compression test. Owner refused and talks down to me. Brought in truck for a driveshaft issue and radiator replacement. Pending insurance claim payment with the adjuster. Been driving since 16, both on tracks, dragstrips and in the street. Been a Professional driver for 6 years. I know cars and trucks. I dont appreciate being told my truck is going to the junkyard when I didnt give permission for such. Had a mechanic happily do a compression test with me for the Honda motorcycle. I dont know what this guys issue is with me, but he demands 500 dollars just to talk. This is my work truck and how I make my money, but he does not seem to care. Asked for an in person paper estimate, he said he threw it out. Not happy with the experience so far.

I had a decent sized dent in my bumper, which I thought would need to be completely replaced and cost me a fortune. I was pleasantly surprised when Century Tire called me, within 2.5 hours of dropping my car off, to inform me they had fixed it and brought back as good as new, without needing a new bumper! They also took the time to clean out my headlights without being asked. Will highly recommend anyone to give them a shot!

Got a flat about a mile from them, swung into their lot on a wing and a prayer right as they opened on a Saturday and they were able to squeeze me in, repair it, and have me back on the road in less than half an hour. I was in a time crunch and they seriously saved my rear. Excellent service. Thank you for being awesome! :)

Not only were they ignorant and rude, they destroyed my wheels and brushed it off as if they’re were damaged prior to my visit to their facility, extremely unprofessional and not willing to own up an correct mistakes on their part.

I have been going to Century Tire for the last three years. They are quick, personable and professional. They have given me excellent tire repair and replacement, oil change and mass inspection. Eveytime I go they are busy with other customers but that never gets in the way of their quick reliable service. Plus side they have updated their waiting room and it is a very comfortable and stylish!

Long ago, maybe thirty years bought tires from here with it’s road hazard guarantee. Well blew out a tire and brought it back to Century for guarantee but some wise Guy said “this tire didn’t qualify”. Well, just wanted the smart man that after all these years and traveling 60,000 miles a year with appropriate many new tires I want to tell the man who saved “$50 years ago has probably lost thousands $$$ because of his stupidity. The service was fast and friendly. Joe, the counter person, recommended four Kumho tires for my Honda Accord. They beat the price from the tire store I stopped at the day before. It drives a lot better now with the new tires and I was on my way in no time!

These guys are Great! I bought (4) Continental Tires from Century last January and with the strong urging of Joe (he may be the owner) to get the Tire Protection...Thankfully I did!! Since then...I’ve hit 2 potholes that compromised the integrity of the tire...Century honored both replacements and also realigned the car...all at no cost to me!! I also want to point out that I’m very picky with my Mercedes and these guys handled the rims very meticulously!!

The worst tire shop in the area. Do yourself a favor, save your car and money, go somewhere else...About 2 months ago I had a flat tire and went to Century Tire to get a new one installed. I brought them a brand new tire, which they mounted on my rim and charged me $45. 2 days after they mounted the tire I noticed that it was leaking air and went back to them. They said my rim was bent and they had to swap the tire from that rim to my spare rim. They did that and charged me $60 more. I went on a vacation and when I got back noticed my tire is completely deflated. Inflated it and drove back to them to ask them to figure out what the problem is. They said that this time they found a nail in the tire and asked me if I wanted them to fix it. I agreed and told them to repair the tire. After another 10-20 minutes, the manager came and told me that the tire was now ruined and had to be thrown away. I had driven less than 100 miles between the 3 separate visits to them and they had swapped that tire twice and (1) had not noticed the nail before, (2) charged me money for what they claimed was a necessary swap of the tire on to a different rim to fix the leak, and (3) promised me that they will repair my tire and then said it was ruined.Since they had obviously missed the nail before and had forced me to pay for unnecessary mounting-remounting of tires, I asked if they would at least mount and balance a new tire for me (which once again I bought and brought to them) onto the rim without charge. The manager was very rude and told me to take my business elsewhere. I had to take my tire to another shop and pay them another $30 to have it mounted.

This was my first time there and I found on their website they had coupons for first timers but they didnt mentioned it to me. I thought the service was OK. I feel I got ripped off with added items and CS wasnt that good compared to other shops Ive go to. I went in for an oil change and lube service with a 14 point safety inspection. They couldnt tell if I needed brakes, so it makes me wondering if they performed the safety check thoroughly. The sales person sounded indirect with me at times and didnt explain the line items to me on what I was charged. He took my payment said goodbye and told me to come in again if I wanted my brakes checked. Again makes me wonder. I will never go here again. I signed up for yelp just write this review and say good riddance.

Never again will I go to this place.Last year we brought my mother in laws truck in to get new tires. We scheduled an appointment to replace the whole set a few days later.I went down the day of and the service was horrible. They kept me waiting for hours, I saw friends of theirs bring their vehicles in ahead of mine and get out sooner than me.The part that always pissed me off was when they told me to my face that the rotors were gone and had to be replaced and it would be another $1000. The vehicle has big wheels, you can easily see the rotors and there was not a trace of rust on them.Since then the front tires will not hold air. Not just the crappy ones I bought from the store only to find out when I replaced the tires after putting air in daily after having it patched, the tires they sold me for $250 that they said were the cheapest they carried for that vehicle sell for $120 at Walmart.Since none of my tires will hold air now I guess the problem wasnt the tires; they sure held air fine before I took my vehicle to them.My advice is to take your vehicle to a place that knows what they are doing instead of taking it to these jackasses.

Worst customer service.Im trying to get a oil change. The company I work for pays for it. Its a process over the phone. It was my first time going there. I believe he is the owner lost patience over the phone with company hangs up on the agent! And told me he couldnt me. I made a appointment on the previous day. Took the time to go there. Over the phone they were so helpful in making the appointment and I explained. But there not so much. Impatient and rude to people.

VERY UNSATISFIED with their service. Had to come back the next day after the work had been completed and paid for, because NOTHING actually had been done. After hearing about it, the guy said: OK, well take a look, you can wait over there. Then for a half an hour nobody bothered to approach my car, even though they did not have other customers. After my question/reminder they finally got to it. AT NO POINT anybody there bothered to apologize for making me come back and wait for the service to be done. Seriously: not once, not even a simple Sorry about that, NOTHING. Extremely rude, unprofessional, unreliably place. Seems to be completely oblivious about the concept of Customer Service. I will stay away, and recommend everyone to do the same.

One time I brought my car to replace a tire, they broke a bolt and said we cant replace it. After questioning the owner said : Get out! Or Ill call police. So I called police myself. When the cop came the owner became to be so nice but still refused to do anything. Then I came to another shop in Peabody, they replaced the broken bolt and the tire within 30 min. So pls - do stay away from that Monkeys!

Super nice guys. Something had gotten knocked loose in my car, and I wasnt sure what it was, but it was making a ton of noise. I was originally going to drive out to West Roxbury, since my mother works at a dealership, but the noise got so loud I just turned into the first shop I saw and hoped for the best. The guy at the desk struck me immediately as a honest looking guy, so I felt a bit relieved, and he had someone take me car in to look at it immediately. A few minutes later the mechanic came in, and told me what the issue was, how hed taken care of it (a temporary fix: they didnt have the materials to fix it on site) and they didnt charge me anything!If Im ever in the area and need car maintenance, Ill be sure to go here to return the favor. Everyone I encountered seemed very honest, professional and helpful.

Well, been going here for years. They invariably find massive front end work that needs to be done immediately, especially on my older model cars I keep running for my kids. After I went and asked for a brake inspection on my truck, they told me I had to have $1,200 work done now, and they recommended another $600 to make it right. (This is what they have done over the years as well, a shell game of sorts it seems..) I brought the truck to another shop (Hogan Tire in Woburn) and GUESS WHAT? I really only needed about $120 worth of parts (a stabilizer shock that went out the very day I picked it up from Cambridge Tire it seems, how coincidental...) and the rest of the parts were fine, good enough to pass inspection even on the most worn parts. So I got the stabilizer done, passed inspection a few weeks later and am NEVER GOING BACK to Cambridge Tire to get RAPED AGAIN!!!!

Waited an hour for a sticker then then went on lunch for an hour without telling me.
