We went to this T-Mobile store because we had received a notification from Sprint saying that, because of the merger, we needed new Sim cards and possibly new phones that were compatible with the T-Mobile network. Luis, the associate that we dealt with, showed no interest in helping us with our issue. He did not even make an attempt to look up our account on the computer. Instead, he said that we needed to show him our letter/email from Sprint in order for him to be able to help us. Luis confusion regarding the Sprint/T-Mobile compatibility issue, combined with his poor attitude, caused my husband to become angry and leave the store. When he left, Luis looked at the other associate in the store and laughed at my husband, with no consideration for the fact that my daughter and I were still standing there. I told Luis that I felt his behavior was rude and inappropriate, but he shrugged it off by saying that he and the other associates do stuff like that all the time and that Im the only one who ever had a problem with it. I asked to speak to the manager, but after going into the back room for a minute, Luis came out saying that his manager wasnt there and that I needed to either call or come back later. I honestly dont think I have ever encountered such an inept and disrespectful salesperson in my life. He should not be working in customer service.On a more positive note, I went to the T-Mobile on Middle Country Road in Centereach and the service was amazing. They were friendly, knowledgeable and went out of our way to help us with our issue. I would recommend that you skip this store and go there instead.

Stay away from this location. They don’t care about your service and will do anything to make you spend money at their behest. The employees here are extremely rude. My husband and I were trying to do a warranty exchange and the employee we were working with Nick cursed my husband out. Said he didn’t know anything and should know the promotions before he shows up. Nick’s behavior is appalling and makes me want to switch to Verizon. T-Mobile needs hiring standards and discipline in it’s workforce. This isn’t a bunch of kids who like phones this is a legitimate enterprise and should be treated as such.

Previously Sprint, I had gone to this T-Mobile with my boyfriend. The employees we dealt with, Nick and Luis was extremely rude to us. Nick and Luis were very unprofessional during our time in the store. They were constantly swearing and talking about women in an extremely unprofessional and vulgar way. Luis used the N word when openly talking to my boyfriend who is African American even though Luis is white. We found this location to feel more like a place to party or socialize rather than a legitimate place to conduct business. We will not be returning to this location and will notify all of our peers about the experience we unfortunately had at the T-mobile on 353 sunrise hwy.

I had an amazing experience with Bailey. She really helped me lower my phone bill because she even said I was paying way too much for the phone I had and I even upgraded to the new iPhone 12 promax and still don’t pay over budget if you come here I would definitely recommend Bailey.And coming from someone that works in a lawyers office she’s very professional and has a good worth ethic. She works with you she does it I have that attitude that she doesn’t wanna deal with you she’s very good highly recommend.

I was originally a Sprint customer so I came to this location to switch carriers. The associate, Nick was very rude and unhelpful to us. When asking him about Sprint customers switching to T-Mobile he dissuaded us from our purchase instead pushing us out of the store saying that Centereach deals with Sprint exclusively when this is untrue. He said he was hungry and instead of helping us he left the store. I waited almost an hour and after he finally returned he seemed off…. I smelled a strong stench of marijuana in the store after he returned. After I witnessed this I felt as though he would not be the one who should deal with my account. I was trying to create a T-Mobile account with 5 lines and a Sync up tracker but this employee made it especially difficult to do so. I am still currently looking for a new location to do business with, others have suggested the Centereach location.

Nick provided us with terrible service. He seemed very distant and not present during our discussion with him. He changed our phone number without our permission only to tell us we couldn’t change our number back to what we had previously. After leaving the store and going to Aldi’s we noticed the employee we had unfortunately worked with smoking marijuana on the back porch of the store. It’s difficult for me to trust this location when it’s employees are highly unprofessional.

If I could have given this store less then one star I would have.When recently purchasing iPhone understanding I was eligible for promo deal they said I wasn’t . They asked if I read about all the fine print.No I thought you would have told me before you started this whole process!!“Sam and “Kim” were both condescending and rude. I would never use this store or any other store managed by these people.My strong advice is to stay with Verizon. If you can’t stay far away for this store

The store associate by the name of SABINE was wild rude because she didnt understand what was happening. She ended up forcing us to do things the way she wanted even though I had a T-mobile rep say otherwise and place multiple memos on my account telling her what to do. She kept cutting us off every time we tried to explain.

Went to the store asked to speak to manager they refused, had an issue care told me to come in here, no one assisted me and refused to handle my problem. Worst service ever.

Brittney was very patient, helpful, and professional. I came in with a connection issue. She took her time helping me troubleshoot. When I came back to buy a phone she understood my needs and helped me find a reasonably priced phone. During the process she juggled several other customers and their transactions without missing a beat.

Very rude and very SLOW business. Dont bother coming here!!!!!!!!! John and Nick had no customer service skills. No idea why John is working at a Store when he doesnt know the promotions. Save your time. Go somewhere else!!!

Brandon & Brittney both we’re amazing. I went in to get a new iPhone and they were able to help out with in minutes and I was in and out within an hour. Amazing people, knew exactly what I wanted and overall very satisfied with my experience. I recommend them to anyone any day!

Went in for a screen replacement on my s20 was told to go back to my original purchasing store. Not helpful at all. Very short did not ask for my information or try to help me in the slightest

Honestly, you need to train your staff how to talk to people. I had a rude man helping me. When I told him I wanted to trade my phone in and get a new one, he smirked and told me it would be $400. I knew that was incorrect because I had JUMP. The people at the mall are more helpful than the people at this store. They know how to actually do their job.

My boyfriend and I went to this location to switch over from Verizon to T-mobile. We were very happy to have the pleasure of working with Mike! He was honest, thorough, informative, and made sure we were well taken care of. I am already glad we made the switch. If you visit this location ask for Mike, he is a sincere standup guy.

Awesome service. I had verizon for 5 years now but recently been having issues with customer service. I went to my local store in Melville but employees were very rude. My friend recommended this location and Anthony was one of the best in customer service I have encountered. Took his time to explain me everything . Great store, great employees, very helpful ... me and my wife switch our lines to T-Mobile.

I was in this store shortly after it first opened and the employees were ok but did not get that “we’re here to help” vibe. However, I figured since I lived nearby, I’ll give the store another chance and stopped in. John was there alone taking care of another customer and answered every question without seeming to be bothered that I was only shopping around. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. As I was leaving I asked if he had experienced any problems with my type of phone missing calls and he wound up fixing my problem in a couple of minutes. Up to then I was not receiving about 30% of my calls and having other problems. John fixed it for me. You just don’t get that mom & pop shop feel out stores anymore but this store has John. John is the reason why my family and I are switching to T-Mobile. Thank you John there should be a lot more people like you at the face of local stores.
