We’ve been here a few times and always enjoyed the pies! Tonight we had Blueberry Pecan Crumble and Moe’s Pumpkin, both with side of whipped cream. I never had this flavor before, it had more blueberries than pecans & the crust was hard & smooth like candy. The pumpkin had good spice flavors. It is hard to find a parking spot & there are a couple parking structures. I dropped off my wife & she went in and ordered/picked up pie slices while I drove around the block.

What a great discovery for coffee, savory and sweet pies and yummy snacks! Great vibe to hangout! It’s like discovering a place before everyone finds it. And after hanging out, I can take pie home to share with my family.

Popaler place in downtown LA. Ordered the earl grey tea pie. It is too sweet for me. But I love the atmosphere eating here.

The place is housed inside a building that has several other restaurants/ stores inside. Place is clean with great cold air conditioning. They have some good pies.

Took one bite. Something was wrong with it. It tasted off. Had my boyfriend try it. He spit it out. Took it back to the counter, and told the guy something was wrong with it. He was rude, but he offered a refund. He didnt refund my tip to the card. Just the cost of the pie, and ultimately I never got the refund. As far as Im concerned these guys are owe me $8.40.

Savory is true.You really get very good flaky homemade pies for a nice meal.Spinach quiche is quite tasty but the turkey pot pie is the best I ever had.I recommend the Mexican chocolate pie with tiny espresso bits in the cream topping and graham cracker crust for a rich and delicious desert treat!

The staff was very friendly and kind in trying to discuss flavours for me to buy and try but I ended up not liking any of the pies. I tried the brownie one, the earls grey, and the peach cobbler pie. I love rich flavours when it comes to my sweets and these were just so much more bland than I expected and disappointing. For the price, I just expected so much more.

Amazing pie choices, but I chose apple, and it’s truly one of the best slices I’ve ever had.

I got a slice of earl grey pie, slice of apple pie, and the Mexican chocolate/Nutella/blueberry pie holes. Everything was very different from each other but all tasty. My favorite out of everything was the earl grey! Such a unique pie and flavor! The Mexican chocolate pie hole was really good, next time I would definitely like to try a slice.

Went with my daughter for a belated pie day and picked up some slices to share with my sister. Excellent pie and service. Loved it. Happy hour so we got six instead of five! No line at 4pm on a Tuesday. Will go again.

Ample seating space, and a good selection of pies. Had a coffee there too, but it was just so so. Bathrooms are downstairs. Street parking. From Colorado Blvd, the sign is a little small and its hard to spot it. You can enter from the alley way off Raymond too.

I used to love this location until recently. Order online for breakfast and was given a time for my delivery. The delivery time came and went and after 30min I called and ask for an update. The employee who answered was incredibly rude and proceeded to tell me that Pie Hole uses a third party company for the deliveries. Therefore, he wouldn’t be able to give me any updates because they don’t actually handle the delivery. And then to top it off, he tells me why don’t you just come in and pick it up? 😂 never experienced customer service this bad, especially from this company but it was incredibly disappointing. Highly recommend any other location besides this one.

Really good coffee! Got the Americano and an iced coffee and a chorizo empanada. The empanada was a little dry. It was close to closing so that could have had something to do with it.

They heard our order as take out when we wanted to eat it there. Came on 3.14 day so they ran out of most things. The crust usually makes the pie but man.. It tasted stale. Got the one with the pistachio topping. The layers pistachio sprinkled on top, cream, the main ingredient, chocolate, and thank crust. I want to give them a try once more... Really expensive for stale pie though. $7... Ill say one more time and update my review again.

Unique savory and sweet pies with wonderfully flaky buttery crusts. Had the breakfast pie, chorizo pie, and apple pie.

Worse service, ordered a hot latte the guy kept arguing that I ordered iced coffee wouldnt correct it. Also ordered apple pie warmed with ice cream pie was room temperature and ice cream came in cardboard containers hard as a rock.

Stopped by for the 1st time the other day and got the summer special: Smores Pie and it was good BUT like many have insinuated, $7 for a slice of pie is a bit much. I would come back for the cereal cheesecake on the weekend though to give it a try!

This location is a little hard to find as it’s in the back of a shared space with Cool Haus and Pressed Juicery, but there’s lots of places to sit and the pie selection is good! I grab a slice from here and get Cool Haus ice cream to make it a la mode.

Was excited to try pie hole but was greated by a woman that was counting the money in her drawer at 8:07pm. (They close at 9)After 3/4 mins of us just standing there while she counted money, she looks up at us and says just to let yall know i cant heat any pies or savory food up because i turned the oven off.. I asked her if they close at 9pm and she confirmed they do... Extremely disappointed in the customer service & the food we werent allowed to purchase 50 mins before closing time.

Im so excited that this place is not open during quarantine! Its been months since Ive had a slice of Earl Grey pie I dont want to make sure they stay in business! Come on by, and the cold pressed juices spot and the ice cream spot called Wanderlust are also open. Yay!

Omg the crust was delicious! I got the mac and cheese pot pie. I wish it came w some other flavor....like maybe they should add bacon because it seemed a little dry. Even still, it was delicious! Its a very cool place. Everything is clean, the sensation of space and order helps you to keep concentrated, its a good place for study or smart work. But we are missing the point. The food. Everything is pricy $$$ for the quality of the food. Cakes are normal, good but not the top. Coffee is good, very good.So, if you want a cool place, trendy with cool people inside you are in the perfect place.If you wanted to go for a too Pie you are in the wrong place.

If you answered yes to any of the places, run, do not walk, to the Pie Hole. Specifically, the Earl Grey Pie is stunning and the Maple Custard is a revelation. Its all good. Treat yo self.

I need to establish a line of credit at this place. The pies are that good (and that expensive).The Maple Custard and Mexican Chocolate pies are hands down the best pies I have ever had. No hyperbole. I bring people to this place like it was a church that I want them to worship at. They always come back.Selection is limited, but this is they type of place that stresses quality over quantity. A place like House of Pies may have 20 pies to choose from, but their quality will never come close to a place like this. Besides the aforementioned Custard and Chocolate, Earl Grey and Apple are also solid choices.Kind of pricey at around $6 for a medium sized slice. Also, being in Old Town, its not the kind of place thats easy to just stop by and grab a slice (parking at the LA location isnt easy either - must be some sort of theme). Expect to pay for parking somewhere. A must visit for anyone in the area.

Delicious desert pie, rich Mexican chocolate was my selection with ochata latte. Super nice staff and restrooms down stairs, they have an elevator. They share the area with other stores and offices but there is a big dinning area and I even got some spices next door.

We only had the pie holes, but they were pretty good! Some lacked filling, and the strawberry lavender didnt smell or taste like lavender at all. Neat shared space too.

I have been coming here for years with my family . Parking is in the back but if you get lucky on weekdays you may find some on the curb . Old school burger and shake spot just the way I like it . A combo is about $14 but well worth it .

Tried their chicken and cornbread pie and it was fantastic. My coworker tried the ratatouille pie and loved it. The nutella pie holes were great too. Definitely will be coming back!

Pie stand in the back of a food court with plenty of other goodies. I enjoy their savoury pies, but the dessert pies are just as good. The Mac and Cheese pie is completely shameless, as all Mac and Cheese should be. It could easily be the guilty but pleasure that pushes you over the edge to morbid obesity. Highly recommended.

Found this place on Yelp while traveling thru Pasadena. Looking forward to exceptional pie but got a mediocre slice at best. I tried the chocolate dipped strawberry pie with high hopes. The pie tasted like it had been made a few days earlier. Not much filing in the pie shell and very bland tasting. The Graham cracker crust had no flavor at all. Three bites and I left the rest on my plate. Where was the love Pie Hole? Not the business.

Getting to the pie hole in the back of the building is like getting the princess after finishing the final level. The princess being amazing pie and the level is the abundance of hipsters you have to dodge through. Im pretty sure I had to fight King Koopa/hipster there somewhere, but worth the pie.

This is in the Indiana Colony shared market space off Colorado in Old Town Pasadena. I like the pies here, both sweet and savory. My favorite dessert pie is the earl grey and the chicken n cornbread for the savory. If you get ice cream with your pie, they actually give you a lot! The servings are decent, and the coffee is okay, but you may want to try the coffee next door and bring it over to have pie.

This place is AWESOME! Ive had several of the menu items, which do change regularly, and I can say I have enjoyed each one better than the last! The people are always friendly and answer any questions I may have with a smile. I recommend a slice of the Earl Grey, I tend to go back to this one regularly

After much anticipation, we finally arrived at The Pie Hole! It was really good, albeit pricey. We got two slices of Maple Custard and Strawberry pie: two slices came to about $12. It is definitely a splurge kinda place. If you like pies, this place is a must stop.

Okay, I have many sins when it comes to food. Moms Crumble Apple Pie (warm) and the Vanilla Ice Cream is absolutely delicious 😋. As soon as I exist the Pasadena Freeway. Pie Hole was the only thing on my mind. Thank gosh I dont live in Pasadena 😉😊. Yummy in my tummy!!

Quirky little place in old town Pasadena. Kind of cool to hang out on date night as you can get dessert from a couple different places all in the same area. The Pie Hole has my favorite slice of apple pie around.

I love the concept of this place (a place specialized in pies) and the atmosphere is very open and situated in a small food Hall-esque room in Pasadena. But the pies are super overpriced for a small price. I can go to uurth cafe for a mini cake for the same price. The price of these pies is mostly what brings my rating down a star if it was a little cheaper I would definitely go more often

The Pie Hole made a nice nitrogen coffee. The service was good. The people were nice and informative. Thanks for the coffee. Remember if you are buying a pie from them you need to call at least a day in advance.

Pie and coffee make for a great combination! We had the Mexican Chocolate pie which was very dense and needed two more sittings to finish. The chocolate is bittersweet and very rich and pairs well with the crumbling crust. A sip of coffee to go with this sweet treat is much needed!

Good pies, but not exceptional. I think my friend over-hyped it, and it is pricey. It was a good first experience, but I wouldnt come too often here. Ive tried the Earl Gray pie, and it had an interesting taste (not good or bad, just interesting).

Its alright, hot chocolate, could be improved. It rarely tastes like chocolate. And the drinks are too foamy

Great, great, great. The pie is wonderful and the space is a fun place to hang out. Hands down, the maple custard is my favorite, but a slice of warm apple comes in a close second.

Was just passing through Pasadena on a business trip and found out about The Pie Hole through yelp. My boyfriend and I both imagine that a breakfast pie would shape more like a slice of pie, but they turned out to be more like samosas or a large fried ravioli. The deep fried outer crust is probably a little heavy for breakfast.
