Great place to go for auto repair. Honest staff
Love Rob and Ken, they always take good care of my car. Its hard to find honest guys who know what they are talking about. I only go here!! Thankful for them! You will be too!
If you are looking for an honest affordable mechanic please go to R.P Snyder! I brought my car in for a new alternator and was previously told I had cracked and leaking struts and a bent control arm that would cost thousands from Mr. Tire. I asked Paul if he could check it out for me while the car was on the lift. Turns out there was absolutely NOTHING wrong with my vehicle other than the breaks and what I brought it in for! No wonder this place stays so busy! They are honest and really care about their customers. My parents will now be using this place for any future repairs they may have and I will be highly recommending them to others as well.
R.P. Snyder one of the best in town you wont have a real MECHANIC until you have R.P. Snyder!
Great shop at excellent prices! The BEST auto shop in town!
BEWARE: After having my car fixed, 3 weeks later the problem arose again. I took it back and left it there overnight to be addressed as early as possible the next day and by 2pm the next day, I was told to check back later. When I expressed my disappointment to Ken. a mechanic and the desk guy, he snapped on me and told me because I told him I was upset, he got upset. He then over talked me, raised his voice, all in front of another Customer waiting there for their car. I was very shocked. One would say, well maybe he was having a bad day. So I went home, got a ride back and asked for my keys. Perfect opportunity for him to apologize for yelling at me and setting the circumstance right. Instead, he got up, got my keys and handed them to me. Ive filed a complaint with the BBB and I wouldnt recommend them to anyone unless they refund my invoice for the issue that wasnt fixed. Even then I would say beware. They are prone to bad days, which all of us have, but business owners in direct contact with Customer cant afford. BEWARE.
It was getting close to time to replace my timing belt and was leery of where to go. Was even more leery of the Shell station near my workplace in Severna Park. Had not been thrilled with previous experience there and needed to go somewhere reliable. Spent several weeks asking my clients about their experiences with local shops and wound up with 2 good leads: Hondamans on Ritchie and the 177 Auto Center. Both were quick to reply to my emails. Other places I checked out (5 of them actually) never even bothered to reply to an email...Both gave me a ballpark quote of about the same price and offered similar service, but I got a better feel from 177 Auto and went with my gut. Glad I did. They got all the work done in one afternoon, knocked out an oil change as well, and even took a nail out of my rear tire. Very pleased.Took me a few weeks to notice my power steering belt was a little off. I was out of town or didnt really hear it over the radio, but when I did notice I called Paul and was in the next morning. He even remembered me. (I try to call my clients by name and often fail, so I was a little impressed) They made the adjustment in minutes, took the time to explain it to me, and sent me on my way. I wasnt even late for work. Nice.Id recommend these guys without hesitation. They were on the ball, fair pricing, and stood by their work.
Didnt get any service worked on my car so can not say how well the work is but I can say that the customer service is wonderful and their dog is big but very sweet
Fantastic place to take you vehicles. Excellent work, reasonably priced
Good service for a good price
Good guys making a honest living that give a crap about your car & your wallet. Hard to come by these days. Appreciate this business sooo much !!!
These guys were so great! My side panel lights were out on both sides so I took my car to Tate Chrysler Service Dept. They charged me $110 for an electrical diagnostic. They said it would be $350 just to diagnose the problem and then theyd have to take the car apart to find out what the issue was. I decided to look elsewhere. When I went to 177 Auto Center, I was there for two minutes when I was told that the wiring for the lights were disconnected and had some erosion on it. I was astonished at how I was charged $90 for the work on the lights when Tate wanted $350 just to diagnose. From here on out, this is the only place I will take my car!
Awesome
I have been to many dealerships who initially charge you diagnostics fees before they even find anything wrong. I have visited been to maw & paw shops for repairs and they all charge enormous fees for services. Not one place have I been to that would treat you as a special customer and remember your name.I just happened to stop by Route 177 Auto and met Tim Panuty who was very professional and personable with his customers. Not only does he not charge diagnostics fees, Tim and his employees stand by their work. I have personally witnessed him taking care of his previous customers who came in his shop to complain about previous repairs. He took personal responsibility to ensure the repair was corrected at no cost. Tim takes pride in his shop, and his work. When it comes down to firing employees because of their lack of concern of sharing Tims work ethics, that was pretty impressive. Thanks Tim for taking care of your customers. I will always be loyal to Timothy Panuty Dba Route 177 Auto Center in Pasadena, MD
