Let me start with - I hate shopping - never mind shopping for the most important dress of my life! Needless to say, I was dreading the experience.....but within minutes of my arrival, all of my fears disappeared. SANDY was AMAZING! She truly listened to what I wanted, she looked at the photos of examples that I brought in and tailored her choices to exactly what I had in mind! I arrived at 4 p.m., tried on six dresses, met with the seamstress to discuss specific custom alterations, got measured, and purchased the dress of my dreams by 5 p.m.! Unbelievable! Every person I encountered, from the front desk, to my consultant, to the seamstress were fantastic! This was a great experience and I highly recommend the team at Bijou.

First time here, and absolutely lovely experience, from booking the appointment through to purchase!The appointment form was easy to fill out, and after requesting, the shop was prompt to call me and confirm details. Leading up to the appointment, reminders were sent out via text and email, and an additional questionnaire sent to better understand my style.Upon arrival, the shop in Paramus, NJ was absolutely lovely and gorgeous. The receptionists were courteous and neatly spaced out couches available in the seating area.My sales rep was Sandi, she was sweet and efficient, and worked very hard! I was a little overwhelmed by all the choices, so she paid attention to the things I liked and gravitated toward. My bridal fitting room was spacious and pretty. I really felt so special trying the dresses on, and Sandi stayed in the room with me to help me dress, which I really appreciated!The main showing area stage holds up to 3 brides at a time so I did have to share the spotlight with other brides, but the guests of the brides were so pleasant and supportive. Everyone said the brides all looked beautiful!As I tried dresses on, Sandi adjusted the dresses based on what I liked and dislikes, and brought me extra options. She was really hustling!In the end I fell in love with the 6th dress but I did not love the neckline. She brought me to the fitting room to try it on a 2nd time and pinned a custom neckline for me to see what I can do to change the dress and assured me all of the dresses were highly customizable. It looked absolutely perfect with the change! She was also very upfront with pricing since changing the neckline was a major alteration.I felt overwhelmed as I was not expecting to decide on a dress so soon. So I asked to change back into my street clothes and call my fiancé for his opinion. She helped me change and gave me privacy. My appointment ended up running over by 15 minutes because of this.In the end I came out and said Yes to the Dress!!!! If Sandi didn’t give me space like that I may have ended up walking away, but she did not pressure me in anyway, laid out the information for me and let me take my time.I really appreciated her help so much and she made me feel so cared for. The staff and all the guests applauded when I said Yes and daydream was so professional and efficient when checking me out, as well as thorough with details to ensure everything was correct and transparent of any changes or expectations. Their communication was excellent. I highly recommend this shop!!!

Made an appointment to get my moms dress for my wedding. The team was so friendly and welcoming! My mom usually doesn’t like doing anything fussy but I could tell she was loving the attention lol. We found the PERFECT dress for her and I’m super excited for the alterations and see it all come together.

I love Bijou! I bought my amazing wedding dress with them last year and this year I bought another wedding dress for our make up party for October. I purchased my wedding dress from Bijou Bridal after a 90 minute appointment with Despina. The entire experience from start to finish was amazing. If I could give them 1,000 stars, I would. Despina made the entire process completely stress-free and fun. I got to try on close to a dozen gowns and never once felt rushed thanks to her. She gave the best advice, expertly handled the group I brought with me, and was my #1 fan throughout the appointment. She pulled dresses I loved based off of styles I picked myself, and I ultimately ended up choosing a dress that she chose for me based off of my feedback/selections. The prices were reasonable, the staff friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend any bride visit Bijou for their gown.

What a wonderful experience I had at Bijou Bridal! 🌟 My daughter is getting married which is what brought us to Bijou. Joyce was just lovely! Everyone there made us feel so comfortable and made the process so seamless. I went back for my mother of the bride gown and I was all by myself. Unfortunately my daughters could not make it. I was looking for a dress for my son’s wedding in October. My future daughter-in-law came with me. The stylist had perfect timing. She came over introduced herself and then provided us ample time to look on our own as well as coming back to provide guidance and take the dresses we picked out so far. I was thoroughly impressed with my experience and the attention I was given. Most of all I found my dress!!!!! Great place and very friendly staff!!!!!

So I came to Bijou Bridal because it was referred to me by a few friends, my expectations were high based of what my friends said but Erica BLEW it out of the water. She was AMAZING and so patient. I went in there having no knowledge of anything other then what I didn’t want. She took my dislikes and found the most perfect dresses for me. I cannot stop looking at the pictures of my dress I am so in love. I cannot recommend Bijou enough and especially Erica !

This was my second time purchasing a dress for a daughter’s wedding. The selection of dresses was lovely and varied. I found exactly what I wanted. The sales associate, Ro was an absolutely delight and made every part of experience wonderful.

Love Bijou! It was the first place I went to. I ended up going somewhere else after and immediately came back to Bijou where I ended up choosing the very first dress I tried on. Just can’t do better. The employees are all so warm and welcoming. There are SO many dresses to choose from. You get to shop your styles while your attendant also chooses dresses for you as well. They ask you to pre register so you can attach your Pinterest board before your appointment. I personally had Erica who was a dream. She’s so knowledgeable, professional, fun, and truly listens to every detail. She’s so patient & always on the bride’s side! Definitely request her if you can! Excited to go back for bridesmaids dresses!

I ultimately didn’t purchase my gown here, but Ro was by far our favorite consultant experience after having visited a number of shops. She really tries to pull the gowns you’d like instead of pushing her own agenda, which has happened elsewhere and can be pretty patronizing when you’ve already communicated what you’re looking for. And aside from being a beautiful space with a solid inventory, Bijou’s in-house alterations also comes at a flat cost and is pretty reasonable for the industry. If you are able to, ask for Ro! She knows what she’s doing.

It’s the best place for get your wedding dress, they are so kind and helpful with all details.The process is very simple, first you call to get an appointment 🙃 then they will send you a google form so you can share with them your Pinterest table (Every bride has one) so they can match the dresses they have with that specific style, after that, at your appointment you’ll get to choose some more dresses, then finally, you’ll get inside a private room to put on all the dresses ( between 5 to 8) and you can get outside to get a look at the big mirror they have, so your family and friends can see you. If you can’t decide between two, you can try them on again until you can make a choose and say yes to your dress.Please don’t miss this spot if you want to live a great experience while you’re looking for the right dress 👗 to your special day 💍

This place was beyond amazing! Clean, spacious and with a huge selection of gowns. Appointments are needed but place has a reasonable schedule. Needless to say, i said yes to my dress!!! The lady (im hating myself for not being able to remember her name) that worked with me was patient and understanding of what I was looking for, she was very professional and bubbly at the same time. She made the experience so pleasant and did not stop until I found the dress that i was looking for. I am so grateful for having such a wonderful experience! I highly recommend this place, you will not regret it.

The staff at this store is just plain rude and NASTY. I ordered 4 bridesmaid dresses from this shop and had a problem with one of the bridesmaids dresses being way too tight, she couldn’t move in it. This problem dress size was recommended (and measured) by the associate and a process the store apparently stands behind (but not really). I helped my other bridesmaids order their correct sizes through the online system and magically had no issues (the non “bridal expert” lol).The dress didn’t fit because they recommended and told us to order a size that measured too small to my bridesmaid!! I had to look at the receipt again and one of her measurements was bigger then the dress size measurements!!! We were also rushed through the process in store of measuring and ordering. I just couldn’t understand how this dress didn’t fit my bridesmaid and just dumb founded that this bridal establishment thought this was ok to do.I told them they were wrong for recommending a small size and as the bridal experts they should know better because they work with these styles everyday. They very openly took no accountability for it or addressing this issue and said “that they wouldn’t have recommended to have ordered a bigger size because too much alterations are needed then”. They do not offer bridesmaid alterations on site so who are they to decide that?!As many times as I’ve been a bridesmaid and now a bride, NEVER were smaller sizes recommended- never mind with a fitted mermaid style with no stretch! My bridesmaid is a tall and thin 15 year old girl, she wasn’t going to loose half an inch! There was no sympathy from the beginning for this issue, only thing I was told was to bring the bridesmaid in to get remeasured and when I asked “what happens when her measurements are the same as what you guys measured? “ I was answered with then the dress should be fine LOLL!! Like what??This place is a joke and their customer service is trash. There are PLENTY of other shops with better service and knowledge. They have all these precautions and warnings when ordering online (vs in the store)for no accountability on them, yet when the one dress that was ordered in store was wrong, there was zero accountability 🙄. They wanted me to bring my bridesmaid back in to get remeasured like I’m some liar and still have no end resolution. This is the last thing a bride needs to deal with 2 weeks before her wedding! My bridesmaid has no dress to wear and now we’re left scrambling. What a terrible thing to put your customers through.UPDATE to my review based on the response from Lisa the manager 🤡:I began to “yell and scream” AFTER I was told by the first person I talked to that there was nothing wrong with ordering the smaller size and since one of the measurements was only half an inch SMALLER, it shouldn’t have been a big deal LOL!!??! The person I spoke to first did not care at all to resolve the issue and only cared about not taking fault in the wrong dress size being ordered (the same attitude by the “manager”).I also called the week prior to explain to someone nicely that I had this issue with the dress and asked if there was at least an inch to let it out. That person said there should be at least that, WRONG AGAIN. Not only do these people not know there dress fits but the basic information if something goes wrong with the fit.Dresses are clearly not made bigger to the size measurements or what’s the point in the measurements. There is no excuse for their poor knowledge and service.The 3 step process to confirming the size doesn’t matter, we went to the boutique for the Bridal expertise and guidance in CORRECTLY getting measured and ordering a size. I should NEVER have needed to second guess if you guys were telling me what to order was correct. But HERE GOES LISA deflecting the blame off of them. Seems to be a pattern in their behavior for customer service 🤮As for the “threats”? I will be SURE to let everyone I know getting married to never go here. if that’s a threat so be it, this place can’t handle the truth. Clearly.

I bought my wedding dress at Bijou in October for my July wedding. I heard of Bijou from a couple of different people. They have a very impressive dress selection and have dresses at a variety of price points. I would say the minimum dress cost is $1,000. My dress was $1,500 and I added a decorative bridal belt. I thought the cost of alterations was reasonable. For what they consider normal or easy alterations (hem/bustle) everything is included for $500. For alterations I needed my dress to be made a little bigger, straps added, hem and bustle. The store is beautiful. Everyone is friendly. My only suggestion for area of improvement would be communication. When I ordered my dress the store was getting a little busy/appointment was running a little over and there was a misunderstanding. Everything ended up being fine but reflecting back this is my feelings. My dress came in around May and I called to tell them I was concerned about it being too small. They told me not to worry when they do the fittings they will take care of everything. In June I had my first try on and the seamstress made a bunch of suggestions to make the dress bigger. The next day I called to ask if I could order a yard of my dress fabric. It ended up not being a problem, they ordered the yard of fabric ($80) and it came in time for my first fitting. I just felt a little ehhh because I felt that they should have said that was an option and the option should have been offered from the moment. I am the kind of person that even if I didnt need the extra fabric I would rather have it and not need it then want it and it not be an option. Luckily I thought enough to advocate. The seamstress who altered my dress did a good job. The work was professional. However, the experience during the fittings lacked some communication. There should be an additional associate with the seamstress department checking in during the appointment and there at the end of the appointment to review what was done/what is going to be done. Again, my seamstress did a great job but all she said was dont worry dont worry. I am a little more type A. My dress was beautiful and everything I wanted. They allowed me to try it on on the day that i picked it up. When the steamed it and I brought it home it did smell a little musty. Maybe they havent descaled the water tank in a while but I hung it up and re-steamed it at home and it was perfect. It was comfortable for my entire wedding day. I had no issues. I was very happy with my dress. The appointments moved along and everything was just as it should be for the day of. I would recommend Bijou they have a great selection and have something for everyones budget.

I made an appointment with Bijou Bridal in Paramus, NJ on a whim to look at wedding dresses after several, previous failed shopping trips at other shops. I was so so pleased with the staff at Bijou Bridal and ended up purchasing a wedding dress from them! I felt amazing in the dress and cannot thank the consultant who helped me enough, because I think she actually picked the dress after listening to what I liked and wanted to try on! I recently went in for a bridal fitting and met with Gabriell, she was incredibly sweet and helpful. She listened to my concerns, my wants, needs and payed attention to the details of the venue to help me pick the most perfect dress. My appointment lasted about 2 hours from start to finish. I felt very taken care of and assisted. She selected accessories and additional pieces that elevated the dresses and full bridal experience. I ultimately said yes to a wonderful dress that is going to make my wedding extra special. My only wish was that it was slightly cheaper but you get what you pay for, and being perfect on your wedding day is...priceless. Had a great experience here. So many beautiful dresses. Sandy was absolutely amazing, patient, and has great ideas. Definitely recommend going to her. They have swatches and lace pieces to give you ideas of any customizations you would want to do, instead of just having to imagine it. Everyone there is super sweet and friendly, Joyce is so sweet to work with and really wants to help.I also love they don’t rush you out the door. Other bridal salons push you out after an hour, hour and a half. They let you try on as many dresses as you want and they make sure you have a great experience and find your perfect dress.

Beyond words!!! An appointment that would and should of been stressful was an absolutely amazing experience. Due to unforeseen circumstances shopping for a gown for my stepson’s wedding was delayed leaving me with less than 3 months to the big day. I said YES TO THE DRESS at Bijou Bridal on Saturday. Being a plus size bride, I was extremely nervous about going to a regular size bridal boutique. I was pleasantly surprised and what an amazing experience their staff provided. Rosemarie was so wonderful, patient and kind. She pre-selected some dresses for me to try on, gave me an opportunity to look at all the dresses in the boutique and pull as many dresses as i wanted to try on. It turned out that the second dress i tried on was “The One”!!! I highly recommend Bijou Bridal as your go to for wedding dresses - no matter what your size.

I would highly recommend looking for your Wedding Gown at Bijou Bridal! I began planning my wedding in June 2020 with a wedding date set for September 2020. Living in these hectic times of COVID-19, I knew I needed to make a quick decision on my gown. Bijou had a wonderful selection to choose from and I found my gown on the first day I started looking! I had the sincere pleasure of working with Seamstress, Diana. She was beyond wonderful to work with. She must be one of the most patient, kind and caring people Ive ever dealt with in a business setting. She truly made what could have been a very stressful experience into one of the most memorable. Ofcourse, every bride wants to find the perfect dress for their big day! Let me tell you, I walked into Bijou Bridal as my first wedding dress shopping experience. I was not expecting to find my dress the first day looking. Boy was I wrong! I showed a picture of what I was looking for and Despinak literally found one that was so similar, you would think it was the same dress. Ofcourse, the dress was beyond perfect!! I said yes to the dress and could not have been happier! I will always thank Bijou Bridal for the wonderful experience. They really helped me feel like a soon to be bride without any of the stress. Also, Barbara! I want to take a moment to rave about how wonderful this woman is! She really helped turn my dream dress into a reality. I absolutely loved working with her at my dress fittings. This was my second bridal salon I tried. Kelly was amazing! Encouraged me to try different silhouettes and knew what worked for my body type-the first dress she pulled ended up being the one! Lisa even showed us a great photo idea to highlight the dress. Everyone was so knowledgeable and made me feel so special. Will be bringing my moms and bridesmaids back!

I had an amazing experience with a stylist who really wanted to help me. She was looking out for me for things that were my favorites and also not shy to pull things she thought I would look amazing in. She was very kind and helped me get through the whole fitting process without an ounce of stress. I found my perfect dress today and its all thanks to her! My consultants name was Despina and I would reccomend her to anyone looking for their gown ❤️

The most beautiful place!As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the lovely Ro! She helped me pick out the most beautiful dress and left me smiling from ear to ear! Such a great experience!!! All things wedding can be stressful but being at Bijou Bridal made me feel so at ease. Everyone was so warm and welcoming and my consultant Sandy was AMAZING!!! I gave her ideas on what I wanted to look like on the day and she went above and beyond. Her pick is my dress and veil and I couldn’t be happier and I know I will look stunning!

Ive been here 2x and each time my Bridal Assistant was attentive and receiving my feedback to help find me the perfect dress! I thought it would take me many more shopping visits but Ro worked with me trying to understand what exactly made me happy, and we did it! Today I said yes to the dress and I cant stop thinking about my beautiful dress. Great selections within my budget! So ecstatic!

Im surprised by some of the negative reviews here. My experience with Bijou was nothing but wonderful! I went to the appointment alone as an out of state bridesmaid and worked with Sandi who was awesome!! She was super kind and helpful, and really gave me great advice on what would look best on my body. It honestly felt like I was shopping with a friend. The whole ordering process was so easy and once my dress came in, I was actually shocked. The dress fit me perfectly and all I needed was a hem!!!Super nice staff, knowledgeable, and a huge selection of dresses.. I highly recommend!!!

Lisa and her team at bijou bridal did an amazing job listening to the bride and making sure I felt special every step of the way. They have a wide variety of beautiful dresses and at a decent prices.

My experience here was amazing. I did find my dress and Layla was excellent in helping me. She was patient and didn’t rush me even when I was taking my time to decide. I was the last appointment and appreciated they didn’t rush me out. Layla was attentive, super helpful and fun to work with. Five stars from me.

I went in to Bijou in Paramus basically last minute. I was on their website Friday night at 11 pm and requested someone reach out to me about going in the next day. I received a phone call around 11 am on Saturday and was able to book my appointment for that afternoon. I was not expected to get a dress as I had multiple appointments elsewhere (kleinfelds being one). When I arrived the staff was very warm and nice, Ashley who was my consultant was great. She asked me questions about my vision, showed me around the showroom for dresses that had the details I was looking for. She made sure I was comfortable, gave me her honest opinion and made sure I was able to stay within budget. I got my dress and I couldn’t be more excited about it. I believe Lisa did my measurements and she was super sweet. I definitely recommend this store.

I never thought I would find my dress on my first shopping trip! Despina was so helpful, patient and kind. The salon itself is impeccable—just a beautiful place to shop. I ended up going with one of their in-house designs...thank you, Bijou!

All of the women who work at Bijou Bridal are absolutely wonderful. Gabrielle helped my family and I and she was so kind, genuine and patient. We went on a Monday afternoon which was great because we basically had the whole place to ourselves. Gabrielle told us to shop around and pull some dresses we liked and she then was able to pull some more based our tastes which I really appreciated. The dressing room was HUGE and there was a big runway with lots of mirrors for me to show off the dresses to my family. They had plenty seating for a little entourage too. My thoughts coming here were that there would be limited selection and that the dresses would be super expensive since this store is more boutique style. But I was so wrong!! this place is huge! and had tonnnns of dresses. Also the prices are reasonable especially for such high quality gowns. Bijou Bridal gave me my Dream wedding dress shopping experience. and I SAID YES to THE DRESS. Thank you to all the ladies there for making that experience so special and memorable!!!
