The reason why I rated a 4-star isnt because of the staff because the staff is excellent its because the rent for the storage is ridiculously expensive and the rent keeps going up every year it should be some type of rent control when it comes to storage and the rent should be set at one base price and the rent shouldnt be going up every year. Thank you from a long-term loyal customer.

So sad to close my relationship here. Ive had my unit for so long. The staff has always been awesome and the website makes making your payment so convenient. The location is always air-controlled. Ive stored my wedding dress here and absolutely no damage to it without it being treated and its been in its bag for 4 years. Would definitely recommend this place to family and friends. Very reasonable prices for what you get.

I have been with this storage place since 2014 its a great place to storage your stuff. I havent had any problems with anyone or anything there are no bugs in your stuff its well protected. I would recommend it. Jaime is a great person to work with.

I WOULD AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST.I feel scammed out of my money.I signed up for auto debit, and 5 days after my first payment was scheduled to go through, there was fraud on my account so my card was switched, but it was six days after the due date for the payment, so I thought it had gone through. Two weeks later, I get a First notice to pay so I call them, and the girl tells me to call the next day to see if I can get that $15 late fee removed. The very next day, I get a second notice that there is a lien on my account and now there is TWO $15 dollar fees! They refused to reverse these fees despite the fact that I was a victim of fraud and that they told me to call back the next day!The facilities themselves are not the nicest. Mine had a dirty sock in it and was full of dust, but I stayed anyway because looks werent important to me at the time. Paying a little more for better service and a nice place would be worth it. They dont care about the customer at all.And dont expect them to call you when your payment doesnt go through. They wont, but they will say that they did and that they left a voice mail, but they dont.

Hi my name is ErickThe Paramount Self Storage is the cleanest and best well managed storage place that Ive have ever been, Jaime the facilities manager is always on top of his game!!, he has great customer service and he is not afraid of going the extra mile for his clients!!.If you guys are in the Paramount, Downey area and looking for a storage place go to Paramount Self Storage and talk to Jaime he is definitely the guy who will be willing to help you.

I would not even give them a star. We have a storage unit here for about 18 + years. At first the staff was kind and helpful but as the ownership changed over the years problems have risen. We are on auto payment but it never goes through according to their so called Manger who then goes on to tell you that he has tried calling you more than once but the phone is disconnected. Duh why would you keep calling if the phone is disconnected. I asked him why he didnt send a letter if he was having problems he said they dont do that. I told him if you cannot reach by phone because it is disconnected you should send a letter so people can update their information and he said no why should they. When I asked what number was he calling he started with a 714 area code and we dont even live in a 714 area code. That code is for Orange County and we live in LA County.We never ever had any problems with the old owners. Our auto pay always went through with no problem. They were very kind and never disrespectful like this guy they have now. This guy sent me home with paperwork for my husband to fill out because I was not the tenant so I couldnt update anything. That is ridiculous that I cant update a phone number. I am his wife and I should be able to. He took the bank card from me to make the payment and only my husbands name was on it not mine so why cant I update information. I went home very upset and informed my husband who the had to take time away from his busy work schedule to go there and talk to that man.My husband asked how can he talk to this guys boss and he gave him an email address but we dont trust this is to his boss but directly back to this guy.Im am going to post my review also on yelp and contact the better business Bureau and report them and also go to the City Hall and lodge a complaint with them on how this business is run. Also I have read other reviews and if I find that our storage was tampered with in anyway they will be hearing from us with our attorney.

Its been a while since Ive been to a self storage. Wow they have a lot crammed into their place. One way in/out. Shakey steps and floors. I didnt feel safe at all. But its not my spot, Im just saying. Im got a problem with my leg, so it took me a while getting up these shakey steps. My friend said that they go into your storage to spray, that didnt sound cool at all, even more so when she said it wasnt like she left it. Well I guess you get my drift, but do your own processing.

Most of the storage units are indoors and they close the doors at 5:45 pm, not 7:00. The gate closes at 7:00, which is only beneficial for the people that have their storage units outside. We went to get some stuff around 5:30 one time thinking that they close at 7 and the guy rush us to put everything away because he was going to close the doors at 5:45. We asked him if they close at 7 and he rudely answer that that schedule only applied to the gate and the people who have the units outdoors.

I was in the process of selling my house and was looking for afforardable storage. I found Paramount Self Storage Jamie was able to answer all my questions. He was extremelly helpful and always super professional. I will recommend this location to all my friends and family. Jamie keep up the good work!

Clean place with a good location....however, they will hit you with every fee that they can dream up!...quite outlandish! they will overcharge you and pile on the fees without mercy!

Affordable storage, been here for about a year, no problems at all, other storages have the same size for 50% more money a month

I wish I could give no stars. I guess that 1 star goes to ok prices . As long as everything is going fine and dandy, their service is ok. But dont let something happen they will show theyre true colors. They dont care about the customer. Just their money. And forget about the speaking to a manager. Because there is none. Only once a month for about 1 hr. So good luck

My unit was broken into as was 2 others on the same Saturday evening/Sunday morning. They obviously do not walk the units before closing to make sure there are no empty units with someone hiding in it. I know this because I was told this by an employee who told me the robbery was done from the inside. They have NO cameras. If any of this is disputed, I have a hidden recording of me talking to the before mentioned employee telling me everything I just stated.

My experience with paramount storage was pleasant the facility is very clean and well kept. The manager Jaime is nice and very helpful.

Do not use this paramount self storage, my mothers storage was broken into and they took just about everything her storage was filled wall to wall with over 60 years of stuff, people just fellow other peope in and no one comes and checks so very sad right now

Was a happy customer for years, at $50 to $55 dollars a month for my 5x8 locker. However, this year, they jumped my rental to $88 a month, so Im planning on cleaning out my locker.

Had been calling a few times to reach someone at the office, but keep getting just message, decided to swing by to make a payment, but at arrival there was a sign saying that crew was around property (lock door) to find out that assistant mgr was inside the office all this time and when she came out said that had to take off and coming back in 1 1/2 hrs and put her sign out to lunch, said that mgrs name was Esmeralda if any complaints and this old lady assistant manager was very RUDE and no customer service training, there was another gentleman next to me as i arrived and felt the same way about her i think her name is Asst. Mgr Rhenda or BrendaThis storage has gone from professional a few years back to worse storage and bad service for sure.I advice all not to come at all and find better atorage places and better prices and definetly better customer service.

Although they kept the place clean ...they have several policies in place to get more money out of you....it was like every month here comes a new charge they have made up!...They know that you need your things and they will not make ANYTHING easier for you...they are out to get more money form you at ALL costs.
