I LOVE SHOPPING HE SPECIALLY IN THE DELI HOT FOOD AREA. THEY HAVE GREAT CHILI SALSA AND GREAT CARNITAS, AND SO MUCH MORE. MEAT DEPARTMENT IS AWESOME AND GREAT PRICES.

A Sunday afternoon and very poor management of meat department. Shouldnt have to wait 30 mins to get butcher service. Not even super king is this bad. I saw managers just standing around. They need some young fast moving help

Their customer service is awful. Ive been there every day to have lunch. They advertise fresh juice but every time i ask for a juice they tell me no one is around to make and when i ask for manager they say his not avalable. Thats false advertising the sign says juice made when you order ive tried for months now and always get runaround on why they can make it. It seems like they make a few orange juice and carrot juice in the morning. But on the sign they advertise several more. I just dont understand..all the women in the hot food section Have an attitude..specily the cashier heavy set dark lady always complaning. I guess Northgate dont care about customer service. Ive been going there for 17 years and had several issues in the hot food section

Excellent place to get your food. The staff is handling the social distancing very well. The lines arent too crowded to keep customers safe and 6 feet apart.

The food is good and the line seems too long to pay but the way they have it set up move quick.

Rude .. Rude... Rude.. workers at the food stand are rude. I was trying to order food and they kept skipping me why have a numeric wait system if your not using it... Also when I finally was ready to order the lady gave me an attitude because I order more than 1 burrito she was like we are so busy I said is there a limit on how many items we can order? She didnt answer .. just rude

Its a great store, has a lot of variety of foods and its super clean. However, cashiers are okay; the male cashiers are friendlier than females. Whenever I come here, if its a female cashier, shes judging the previous customer, complaining about people who pay with WIC or EBT or gossiping about other coworkers.Once a male cashier told me that he didnt understand why the female cashiers complaint about customers who pay with any federal assistance programs if all of them also paid with it. So it is annoying coming here because you are always questioned before you are paying with what are you paying with? Even when you are paying with a debit card. In my experience, they always ask me, you are paying with your your debit card right? And I am, but it feels weird that because Im Hispanic, they assume everyone is paying with EBT. Supposedly it has to do with the plastic bag policy. Regardless, Northgate should train their cashiers to be kind to ALL their customers.

So I a walked in to the store I had my mask on. So because of my asthma I have to keep on putting my mask down to get some fresh air. So the lady at the front door who also had a different uniform which Im guessing shes some type of supervisor suggested that if I cant keep my mask on that I should leave. So i told her my situation and she replied Well if you have asthma you should just stay home and dont come in. Which to I just laughed and walked away. Just wondering what kind of training do they give their employees in this company. Hopefully someone from corporate can read this and reply to me. I really like this store & location, its big, has a nice selection and always really clean inside & meat counter smells clean, Ive been to otherstores/carnicerias that stink & I turn around leave bc Im disgusted.

Well the last time I was there, went in for some items those that are Hispanics or none you should try their Mamey refreshment its great.The actual translation is Mamey water its delicious.

Quality is great but presentation is poor at this particular location. Cashiers and staff are not friendly.Parking lot is crowded and is hard to find a parking space. I highly recommend the location on Cherry and Del Amo.

They offer a variety of mexican comfort food. They also carry a $15.99 rotisserie chicken special. This includes rice, beans, salsa and package of corn tortillas. I must say the chicken is tasty.

Cashiers are very rude, they dont pack your grocery and start to checkout the next person in the line and mixup all the items. When you ask for help, they very rude reply there are the bags.... I will mention the initial of this rude casier: Jessika K.

The prices at this grocery store today were great. The specials were awsome. U can get anything and just about everything that u may want and/or need here. I highly recommend shopping here.

Very unhappy, Ive been going here for years to buy my meat, chicken, etc. I bought chicken breast and it was dirty like if they got the chicken and sweep with it and decided to put it back with rest of the chicken. I tried rinsing it off with water as much as I could and still didnt take of. Good store but real mad who does that.

I went for a couple of things and got everything without a hassle.

Their Strawberry Short Cake is Devine, so light, fresh with moist delicious vanilla cake. YUMMY! I also recommend their Chicken Tamales you get 3 for $5, dont forget the Avocado Salsa but be warned it has a serious kick.

Great legit Mexican food. This is a great place to get food for a party or sometimes some work friends and I will split a family deal. Typically less than 45/person for tons of great Mexican food. TONS of salsas to choose from. Reserving a star since the food court can be a little confusing and hectic.

Price gouging on most items. Would rather drive a extra mile or so to smart & final. There prices are over the top also, but a little more pleasant.

Not busy waiting too long for someone to help only one person working the meat department a d about 6-7 people waiting while 4 employees talking and cleaning in the back but no helping customers.Until one gentleman ask another employee cleaning the displays to help his response was there was someone else helping.Poor customer service

Okay is not okay, this place was ok, is deteriorating little by little, being inside the store. I called them to let them know there were no bags in the vegetables dept. I waited for quite a while after I was told they will replenish, no luck, noone showed up with bags, poor customer service at this Paramount location.

This place is awesome! Fresh bread, ready to eat food bar, juice bar, butchery, etc. Fantastic!

The Bakery service is horrible.... I order a cake and they gave me the wrong one... I didnt realize it until I got home when we tried to open it it had lots of tape, and they also called me saying they gave me the wrong cake etc. They made me drive back from where the party was to to get my right cake. And once I was there the lady who was there in the bakery section was rude and saying it was our fault for the cake. And she tried saying she was attending other ppl when there was no one else but us. How do you mix a cake when we take you the receipt. I would of never went back, but I paid a lot for a small cake.... I tried talking to a supervisor and they wouldnt call him at all. When I had seen him there. Im so angry this happened. And especially they way the service was. Not just that they gave a big as cake box for a small cake what a joke.Update: I wanna thank the manager Jose Manuel for helping me out with my problem. And being very understanding about what happened he was very friendly and communicative. Hopefully the service gets better.

Been a Northgate customer for years!!! Never had a problem with them. But lately the meat department has disappoint me. The meat is not quality like before it’s old and don’t taste good, not all the time but most of the time. Today I ordered extra lean diced beef taco meat only to find long string meat pieces with grease I can say more than a pound ...I was so disappointed because I had put it in oil and I can’t return it...the same day I bought fish to make ceviche and when I got home I opened the bag and it was super slimy and stinky I immediately went and return it. Only to come back and notice big long pieces of meat on my supposedly lean diced beef :(

I love the fact its not small and the tortilla department makes everything fresh and they are quick to answer any questions about their products...but i strongly advise you not dine at the hot food spot inside...the people there have a really big attitude and will leave you waiting while they just act stupid and talk. I absolutely hate the rude ass workers in the hot food dining department
