Dropped by today to check out the new Hobie compass, a true tire kicker. After Brad fielded an eternity of my questions, I decided on the Passport 12, but the color choice was limited to slate blue and seagrass green. Brad offered the tan model, which I had seen already on line, but it wasnt in stock in their showroom. He immediately drove to his warehouse and 10 minutes later, produced a tan Passport, which he rigged for me on the spot. All the while I had the most enjoyable conversations with Ron while I waited. I didnt even bother to check prices and I dont even care to. The experience and support, the knowledge and energy Brad and Ron have around kayaking and the products they sell made the entire visit worthwhile. My brand new Hobie passport will be hitting the water on Sunday for the first time and Im sure its gonna be the start of a long love affair! It was awesome. Remember it had been a few weeks and I had only been there twice. I went back yesterday to buy my Perception Pescador 10. Ron helped me there. And gave me some great kayaking tips. Brad and Ron are the best! They always go above and beyond to help with repairs or kayak purchases. They also have one of the best Yeti and Toadfish selections around.

Brad the owner is the best. I have had two warranty claims with my hobie Pa 14. He handled them fast and professionally. When my 360 drive needed replacing, we submitted the warranty claim and he replaced mine with a new one the day of. 10 stars.

My wife & I wandered into the shop today. A kind gentleman volunteered to help us. Just browsing. I glanced at shirts, 3 incredible Hobie Kayaks, and various T shirts. The gentleman approached as I was looking at Sunglasses. They stock SMITH glasses. We chatted for a while, small biz owner to small biz employee about the pandemic, and the miracle of booming business for some. Before it was over I was leaving feeling good & with a SMITH case in hand. It is great to walk in to a business that can & will, when time allows, stop & chat. Im not sure if/when Ill be back in the area, but when I do Ill stop in here again. I encourage all of you to do the same.

A very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Lots of information from them about all sorts of things related to kayaking. My wife and I ended up buying a pair of carbon fiber paddles from them. The clothing line there have there is great too.

The kayak EXPERTS in Bay Co. Brad and his staff will help you pick out the right yak and how to transport it. You must visit Sunjammers when you eat in St Andrews. They rent bicycles now.

I purchased a Hobie Passport from Sunjammers. I had little knowledge of higher end kayaks, but Brad definitely helped! Sunjammers amazing customer service, and did not pressure me to go after the higher priced option.

Bought our 2 Hobies and now cant get enough of it! Escape to a float on the Bay every chance we get. Ron and Brad so helpful in thoroughly explaining everything about the Hobie pedal kayak (which is really simple!) and handling a couple of minor concerns after the sale. I purchased a Hobie Mirage Kayak from Sun jammers in St. Andrews a little over a year ago. I have only good things to say about this local company. Prior to purchasing the kayak, they took us out for a spin so we could use the kayak in the water to make sure we liked what we were buying. We of course loved it and purchased it on the spot. They even delivered it to our house 🤗.A couple of months ago, my rutter got stuck and I could not steer the kayak towards the right. I knew it was probably something I did incorrectly but couldn’t figure it out.I called the shop and the owner answered. He actually came to my house and fixed the issue for me. As I suspected, I had been doing something wrong. I tried to pay him for his time but he would not accept.I haven’t experienced service like this since I was a kid and watched my parents interact with sales consultants. It did my heart good to know that there are still wholesome, good hearted, genuine people in the world 🌍 who stand behind their product and are interested in their customers. If you are interested in a kayak or other water sports, please shop here!!!! It will do your heart good!
