So, a little back story. I have a 2011 Toyota Sienna. The A/C was working intermittently. Sometimes it would be ice cold, sometimes it was like having the heater on. Needed constant charging. One place in Tampa, before I moved here, told me that there is a leak in both of the evaporators (the Sienna has two, one for front and one for rear seats) and theyll have to be replaced at a cost of about $1500. Something seemed fishy, so I told them just to recharge it. Charge didnt holdI moved here last year. But the A/C on the Sienna is still not working right. Took it to Diagnostic tune. Told them what the guy in Tampa said. They told me straight up that the evaporators on the Sienna never go out and the problem has to be somewhere else and theyll figure it out. They told me the next day the clutch on the compressor broke away and that a part of it is stuck in the compressor. The clutch would sometimes engage the compressor to blow cool air, which explained the intermittent cool air. They both had to be replaced. Cost me way less than the crook in Tampa was going to charge me and I still would have had the same problem. A/C is working great now.You can absolutely trust these guys. Had my van back to me two days after I dropped it of, so theyre pretty quick too. Also, they give a military discount. Taking my van and other vehicles there if I ever have anymore problems.

I drove to Panama City on vacation from Ohio, on the way down my breaks started to pulsate and grind. I got nervous about driving home without at least having them checked so I made a few phone calls (with Google’s help) to check pricing and ask a few questions. I worked in the service depart at a Honda dealership so I was no stranger to the situation. As a lady phone shopper my first couple calls made me feel unimportant. When I called Diagnostic Tune right away I could tell they were interested in helping me. I drove further from where I was staying then a wanted to on vacation because the closer searches didn’t make me feel welcome and, Diagnostic Tune, answered all my question professionally. I dropped my car off on Wednesday afternoon he told me he would try to get to it but possibly not till Thursday. I was there till Sunday and didn’t need my car as I was with a group of ppl so that was fine. Upon arrival I was instantly greeted by a polite gentleman who jump out of the car he was working on in the garage to come help me. I received a text around 4:30 telling me my car was ready to be picked up. I let him know I was on Shell Island and would pick it up Thursday. Later in the evening around 9pm I had an emergency and needed to go back to Ohio. I texted the phone that had texted me earlier and asked if there was anyway to get my car asap. Without hesitation Jim went to the shop and I got my car. It doesn’t get any better than that, and, my breaks are perfect !! Thank you is all I can say !

Great group to work with.They didn’t assume the issue but properly searched the entire system. Great turn around and pricing is more then fair. Don’t waste time at other places or the dealer for AC issues. Go to the pros.

At a total Loss on knowing what to do to fix a missing out problem. Diagnostic Tune & Auto Air found the problem (stuck and Bent Valve) and got right on it as soon as they could.It needed a total top end rebuild. Now it runs great. I Love that AMS oil oil change to. The AC was not right either. ICE Cold now!!! Thanks for a Job well done and Great Experienced Mechanics and tools to do the Job!

Excellent experience! Quick and friendly service. They were able to diagnose my issue as a relatively inexpensive electrical connection issue instead of a costly A/C issue. They even told me how to fix the issue myself to save money. Highly recommend.

My a/c quit blowing cold air, I have always driven by the shop and said if I ever needed service, this is where to go. I am disabled and as soon as I entered the shop, everyone was very nice. They offered me a seat and a cold drink. NICE. Darren got caught up and sat down with me to go over my issues. Darren was thorough in what would be done. I left truck overnight and picked up late in the afternoon.Everything was just like Darren explained. I would highly recommend Darren and his team for all your vehicle needs. courteous and knowledgeable, stock all the parts needed. When I got home Darren even left a voicemail saying truck was ready. Just had my air conditioner fixed last week and I am satisfied. The price was affordable and better then I expected it to be and they were very nice and honest. I drive a Volkswagen and have trouble finding people to work on it when it needs it. They had me up and running in no time. I plan on going back to get some other things done soon. Glad I chose them.

I never knew a place could exit like them except in the most perfect dream. I would have to rewrite a book to tell all the reasons why I am a customer for life. If you try these people out you will discover that they are the greatest place in FL to diagnose and repair. They diagnosed my air conditioning system and my check engine lite and ABS lite. They blew some metallic dust from my wheel speed sensor at no charge and fixed my ABS issue that they could have just charged me for the sensor and how would I know that it could possibly be salvaged by blowing it off with compressed air. They gave me an estimate to fix my engine computer issue and air conditioning issue. I spent 2 days calling everyone in town looking for the cheapest estimate and you first it. It couldnt be found. The next cheapest estimate to this place was a run down building place that I have seen before in town and wouldnt have the guts to try but they were still 310.82 higher them this places 567.89 estimate. This. Place has there own a n heating warehouse and there labor rate is only 80.00 compared to all these others that I called that are from 96.00 to 139.00 per hour. OMG do not do anywhere else. Really you will wonder how you didnt find them sooner.

A friend highly recommended Darren at Diagnostic Tune to repair my ac in a truck I had just bought and when I brought the truck in he told me he would have it diagnosed the day I was told to bring it in.True to his word he called me back a few hours later with a very detailed report and said he could have it fixed same day. Didn’t hear back before closing so assumed it would be ready next day. I got a phone call at 7:30 pm telling me something came up and he had stayed late to finish my truck because he had told me he would. WOW!!! Someone who keeps his word is a real find in these days and times! He had also looked over the truck and suggested I small fix. I had asked him to check to see if it needed an oil change and he said no not now. WOW again!He could have lied to make more money, now I’ve found an honest keep to his word mechanic. A real find!The ac remains ice cold and as a single woman who needs a trustworthy mechanic I feel like a HUGE burden has been lifted knowing I can trust this shop with my Prius and Chevy truck.THANKS for having integrity and a good work ethic! I will be telling everyone about this place.

Diagnostic Tune & Auto Air was highly recommended by my coworkers so thats where I took my car for A/C repair. There were challenging A/C issues with multiple parts not working on my Accord and the mechanics stuck it out working hard to find the issues until everything was resolved. I called Mike every single day & sometimes multiple times a day and he always kindly filled me in. The A/C works better than it did before. 5 stars!

Greatest car repair experience ever. I absolutely cant say enough about the integrity of this place. It may not be a new shop like some here in town but boy do they get the business and the great reviews. Labor rate $80/hour compared to muffler shops and tire stores that are $100.00 and up and these folks know how to diagnose and repair. My review may not top some of the others on here but I have found my shop for life.

I have to stand up for the shop owner in reference to the comment left by this Stephanie Pate woman. I heard her threats of bad mouthing his business and sure enough I found it on here. Her husband was the one who authorized the order of the special ordered parts and within an hour the wife (Stephanie Pate) showed up wanting to cash out but not wanting to get the repairs done or pay the restocking fee that he was going to have to pay him self as a result of her not being on the same page as her husband. He did raise his voice but only after repeating himself so many times and not being heard over her yelling and her friends yelling that came with her to team up on him. I found this man to be a very good and honest shop owner who got to my car within minutes of arriving. His technician diagnosed my problem with in an hour and had my vehicle repaired in less than 3 hours. He handed me the remote to the TV, and I rested very comfortably in a leather lazy boy recliner in a quiet corner of their very large and comfortable waiting room. It was a very pleasant experience other than when the very unreasonable women showed up and became incredibly rude and demanding. I cant believe that he relented and didnt charge her for the restocking fee and she still had the nerve to leave such a comment. He told me after they left that the customer is only right when the customer is right! I guess if he could have known that she could still be so unreasonable he would have stuck to his guns and made her pay the whole bill. I would have! It is unfortunate that the ones who dont get there way are the ones most likely to leave a comment, but I give them a big thumbs up and I have found my new repair shop!

No good for nothing, the owner first said it was something to do with my timing had to open up my valve cover charged me $705 for opening and closing my valve cover and didnt do anything to fix my problem on my charger 2006. Good thing I got a good mechanic thats helping me out and has came across my problem.The owner of the shop just had to replace acouple gaskets and 3 of my pulleys including the alternator, the man was charging me $3580 just to replace those parts.. very odd and unprofessional of him. Nothing else to say about this place, I was very disappointed and to top it off the man was being racist!!

I would not Recommend! These people shouldn’t be advertising to repair AC on autos. Paid them almost $600 and still no AC. Took it back they cleared a trouble code started working then when I drove off it stopped. Returned a third time and explained I wanted my AC fixed for the $600 I’ve already paid and the guy explained to me that if he found anything else he would have to charge me extra. I since then replaced my AC controller unit inside my truck and it’s working! Wow and they replaced every part under the hood so they could charge me quadruple and replace parts that wasn’t bad! I will be taking them to small claims and calling the BBB! Crooks Crooks crooks! They will Rip you a new one!!

As a woman, going to have repairs done on you vehicle can be a scary thing. I was so relieved when the owner himself explained what was wrong and how they would fix it. While sitting there, l seen him do the same for each customer. I also saw customers who were there because they had used the shop before and told me they would not go anyplace else. That made me feel like I was at the right place.l also realized he the owner has the patience of Job.

I was driving by on 15th Street and one of the guys tapped on my window and let me know my tire was flat. He tried to put air in it but my tire had a hole in it so he changed my tire for me! While visiting Florida I experienced some issues with my air conditioning. I was referred here and I am glad I was. Service was provided very quickly and everything was explained to me on a level I could understand. I would definitely recommend.

They were amazing!!!!! I had trouble with my back brakes. I’ve payed 2 other places to do them and this is my 3rd set in 6 months. These guys took the time to find out my Caliper was bad. Most places had also a waiting time of 3 to 4 days before they get to my car they took me right away. They told me it would take approximately a day and a half to get the parts and get it together and they had it done in less than a day.

VERY VERY PLEASED! I have taken time in the past to warn others of my poor experiences at businesses but I have never been inclined to leave feedback because I was so thrilled with an experience from an auto repair facility and so this is a first for me. I could write a book about how perfectly rounded the whole experience was from the greeting to the handshake that I gave the owner a few days later after my repair. I really took the time to thank the man for his integrity and honesty. The price was the cheapest, the warranty was double the others, and after I compared prices and gave the okay to do the repair I went back to pay only to find out that he was able to find a way to save me more money and did. When does the price change when you get there to pay and it is cheaper? The dealer kept my car for a week and wasted my money, a tire store & muffler shop (dont ask why I thought they could diagnose and repair other than what they specialize in) also wasted my time and money. This Diagnostic shop diagnosed and fix it with the parts they had in stock (he said they own their own parts warehouse or something) all in the same day and was finished in time to come pick me up at work and cash me out by 5:30. I want to buy stock in this place. LOL.

They worked all day diagnosing my ac problem so that me and my two girls wouldn’t leave without ac. My car had several things wrong with it and they had to run diagnostics manually since my computer wasn’t reading in their system. They made the long day waiting so nice. The wonderful gentleman in the office made popcorn for my girls, helped my oldest get a soda and even played I-spy with her. We were made very comfortable and most importantly, they fixed the problem. Ac is ICE cold!! Had to turn it off on the way home. And they didn’t even charge me for all the parts they used. Five stars!!

Years ago, they did a quick-fix on in-laws AC, so we trusted them with our vehicle recently. Big mistake! Our vehicle, which had been operating soundly but we took in for PM, days later exploded in our driveway and was a total loss. They deny any responsibility, of course, and still kept the almost $2000 we paid them. I cant say that will be your experience, but I certainly would not be taking a chance if I were you.

Awesome experience! Wish i had listened to my family and friends when they told me to go there in the first place. Went to the dealer first and they didnt even diagnosis correctly. The owner at the counter at Diagnostic Tune said they could diagnosis while i waited and eat some of there popcorn, and i did lol. They diagnosed it, had the part in stock and had me out the door in one hour and 55 minutes. Theyre a no nonsense place to go. You wont get over on him but he wont get over on you!

Took my Taurus to them and was told within just a little bit what was wrong, gave me a really good price. Had complications from parts dealer but not their fault. They got the part very quickly and had me out the door asap.

I read the owners post about having been sabotaged by his competition with bogus 1 star reviews and after noticing that all of his reviews were 5 star except the few 1 stars that he mentioned it made perfect sense. I went with my intuition and glad I did. I am also giving a 5 star review. Though this shop isnt the newest building it definitely is the best ever and with the nicest waiting area. Unnlike the other 4 places I took my car for this issue they had it diagnosed properly this time and I am finally sure its fixed. Thank you team I am now your latest cheerleader.

Six men from our Troy, OH church were in Panama City to help with Hurricane Michael relief the week of Sunday, November 11th, 2018. Our twelve passenger Chevy van began to run rough mid week and we needed it to be repaired by the Friday to head back home. I began to call several (about 10) repair locations on Thursday morning and several phones were out due to the storm. I was able to get through to only two numbers. The owner of Diagnostic Tune and Auto Repair answered and I told him I would get back with him to set up an appointment. When I called him back, I had to leave a message but to my surprise he texted me from the doctors office and we arranged an appointment for the next day. The van was repaired timely, and we were able to return home Friday night. The repair team did a great job with just a partial shop to work in due to the storm damage. I highly recommend this auto repair shop!

Very unprofessional. I expected more from the good reviews. Do not go there if you have loved ones that work at other car shops, or at least dont state it. I asked about services, I told them where and what had been done to my car and they talked badly upon my spouses workplace (that doesnt even do diagnostic tests or repairs) when I did not even ask their opinion on other car shops, I was just telling them what was done with my car, but thanks for the warning about the minimum wage flunkies that work there. Rude and unprofessional. I was turned away for my affiliation with my spouse (I guess they dont like when a minimum wage flunkys wife gets mad that you insulted their husband at the very beginning of the conversation) but I said I still wanted to get my car checked and repaired there and they told me they appreciated my interest but werent going to diagnose my car because it wouldnt be profitable for them. Dont waste your time.

Rude and unprofessional; my sister took her car to his shop; his technician broke the dipstick tubing and lost the engine cover caps and did not tell her; we found out after two days later when her AC broke again and when she asked me to check her car and then we saw oil leaking from the dipstick funnel that was a VW piece but not the right part for that car, they also lost the bracket that holds that piece in place and had to fabricate one to fit the wrong part after we complained and he denied his people ever breaking anything and refused to replace the caps. I would give zero stars if it were an option. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Ive been coming here for 10 years, and have never had a complaint and that is just unheard of.I was thinking today when I left about just how satisfied I truly am with this shop. The personnel and personal attention each time as they explain in detail and make you feel so very comfortable with making a decision cant be found no where these days and yet there it is alive and well like a page out of a history book. I could tell from the very first time I talked to the owner that he was honest and proud to offer great work for a great price.For the first time I compared prices and found out that NO ONE came close to his prices for the work he estimated. After authorizing the work and then got curious if his prices lived up to the reputation that I have always heard about there and not only is it very true but the reason is due to the fact that he doesnt advertise and gets by on word of mouth. In other words his labor rate is $20-$49 less per hour than other independent shops here in town as well as national tire, muffler, and oil change flunkie shops.I just thought others needed to know all of this and maybe I could help others who dont have the time to do all of this leg work I put into my own little survey.

False advertisement. The free estimate isnt free, very slow when it came to performing work, pushy to make a sale and overpriced. I was quoted $600.00 for a repair but found another shop that could do it for $200.00

Owner was completely rude. Initially dropped of car for AC service, but then they charged me 90 to basically tell me my cooling fans were not working, when its literally turning key on with AC switch on and checking voltage to two plugs. I payed and informed him that I got the parts off amazon with 3 year warranty for like 65 bucks, his quote was almost 600. He got angry in front of a witness customer. Have her name also if you want it. He said I was gonna tell you since you got it all figured out dont worry about bringing it back to me for AC issue, then he tried to make small talk about me being active duty military. I would have judged him, but we should love others as we want to be loved. Its not my place to judge, but I will let others know what happened. I just feel bad for his employees, if he acts like that in front of other customers, I bet he treats them badly. Only facts here!!!

Stopped by to have an A/C hardline replaced and system recharged. Since its $20 for a system check, I figured it wouldnt be so bad.. They wanted $380 plus parts!!!! To swap one line and recharge?!?! GARBAGE! They were very insistent and obviously prey on the ignorant. NO THANKS. I can get a completely new A/C (including the compressor) for less than that! Ran over to Castros on Minnesota ave. they did the same exact (quoted) work for $160. A/C is ICE COLD and hasnt missed a beat.

My truck was at 180,000 miles. Smoking engine, squealing when I turned, and no air. I left it at Diagnostic Tune for two days and all was taken care of. Highly recommend!!

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. The owner screamed at me because I refused to pay a $54 restocking fee for a part I did not request him order. I was more than willing to pay for the diagnostic fee (of $80), but will not pay for something that I did not need, want, or request! After he screamed at me for a good 5 minutes, and called my husband all sorts of names, he finally said I could pay just the diagnostic fee. But then would only accept cash from me because he now knows what kind of people my husband and I are. Rude, condescending, arrogant, chauvinistic, and disrespectful. I will never return to this auto shop, and I will definitely not recommend it to any of my friends or family.Women: Please beware of this shop owner! He is extremely rude to women, and apparently has no problem screaming at them, and trying to overcharge them for unnecessary parts/labor.

This place is a joke ..Went in there a few days ago to get my air conditioner checked out .. I signed a contract saying i would be charged 29.99 plus tax to have the a/c looked at ..The owner was rude and wouldnt fix it ..Then when i paid what i thought was going to be $30 plus tax .. Was told the charge didnt go through so i swiped it again and they randomly charged me an extra $55 ...These people are a bunch of crooke i know have to go the dispute proceedure with the bank because of these scumSo you have made it clear you think i am very young and ignorantso you figured you would be able to charge my card twice without me not understanding?I have disputed these charges with my bank and also am reporting this issue with the Better Business Bureau since im young and ignorant maybe you can explain to them why i signed a contract to pay 29,99 plus tax for your services and you allowed your employee to charge my card twice .Did you approve of him charging my card twice ? or did he do it without your permission ?DONT GO TO THIS PLACE THIS COMPANY WILL SCAM YOU

Had to have my air conditioning repaired and a few other minor repairs. They were wonderful, courteous and professional.

Went in to have an AC component checked. After bragging to all who could hear how they diagnose problems they didnt diagnose mine. Of course it didnt fix the problem but I was charged $271.89 for a $48 part, and $56 labor. Lesson learned. Dont deal with a fast talker.

The owners here are rude and unprofessional. They charged me $400 for gaskets claiming. They were inspecting my vehicle cause the check engine light read Cadillac converter. They said they were ruling it out if the car need it.Two days later the same code appears

Very poor service my sister went in to get her air fixed before even driving off the lot her radio and air was both broke she had already paid him the money and he wouldn’t pay her back he even took her keys at closing time and ran off with them and prohibited her from leaving his garage and wouldn’t answer the phone or the police calls don’t ever get any work done here they will scam you and lie about things being fixed when there not

Did good job on fixing ac, but wrecked my car and wouldnt admit that it was done there. The car had just been waxed and buffed before going there so we knew it had been done there. He said ew couldnt prove it. Stay away from there!!

My parts came in and when I came, I got right in . An hour later I drove away with all my issues taken care of at a great price. I will be back
