Needed a new transmission for my Mazda3, they got me one of the few that were still available in the midst of a supply shortage.Great service!!

Western Edge may have been a great place before but not now.I took my Ford SUV in because of a 02sensor code and overheating problems. I was charged $250 for the diagnosis which included tire treads low, transmission problems which wasnt a problem it was just low on fluids. Radiator compression check, faulty ECU ie: computer . Nothing mentioned about the 02 sensor and when I inquired about it they said it didnt come up when they checked, bottom line $8000 worth of work needed to be done. Market value for the vehicle is $2000. So no Thanks Western Edge. I took it to another Auto Repair shop...02 sensors needed to be replaced. Total cost $700

I had the unfortunate experience of having my Lexus break down on the 14 heading up to Mammoth. I got it towed to Western Edge Auto and they took care of the repairs. I got a rental, heading up, and got my car after my trip.If they were closer to home Id probably use them on a regular basis for what ails my car (s).The Gals I spoke with were very knowledgeable, and professional.Breaking down is one thing. Breaking down outside of your comfort zone and familiar demographic is another.Good folks, great work, they did what they said theyd do.I would absolutely go there again. Thanks :) MS

Had an 10 am appointment but I wasnt serviced until 1130. But in their defense this is not normal operating procedures. However, when my car was finally worked on I was out the door in 20 minutes. Melissa is my service advisor and a great one at that. She is the only reason I was able to practice any decorum as I waited for an unreasonable amount of time for my car to be serviced. In spite of this I will continue to bring my car in again and again. Western Edge is one of the best auto centers because they are fair, friendly and 100% trustworthy.

Everyone, treated me and my Sister who was with me, like family. Melissa and Katie went above and beyond to help me get my old car repaired as quickly as possible. When some things went wrong that were beyond even their control, Melissa and Katie both did everything they could to get things moving. They made countless phone calls to make sure the correct part for my old car was found, and then would arrive as promised. These ladies really know their stuff about cars!! Western Edge is honestly one of the best shops Ive been too. Ive tried others, including the dealership and all they care about is money instead of getting u back on the road safely. My fuel pump went out on my Buick and I had to decide on a new mechanic since my other had gone out of business. I received a recommendation from a co-worker for Western Edge, so I called them up.The first person I spoke with was the manager Melissa, she was kind and helpful to my situation. I’m not one to write reviews but Western Edge is a pleasure to work with. I am VERY picky about who works on my BMW. I use to take it BMW Valencia. They were dishonest to me and tried to get thousands of dollars out of me unnecessarily. I needed some place I can trust. Some one recommended to me to go to Western Edge and I’m grateful. What a great decision. They have treated me so well and have given me peace of mind. They have never cheated me, nor lie to me. Best auto repair place ever.. first of all, in full disclosure i must say you may pay a bit more than you would to your cousins friend of a friend that will let you pay him in beer. But if you need work done and want to be able to trust the work go to these guys. Melissa will take good care of you. Even though I did Not Get the work done there, As My Jeep was to far gone, They did an inspection very detailed and FREE!.They gave m a ride home and picked me up, even thou I have No work done. If You want a really great team to help you? You cant go wrong with Western Auto. I plan to use them again.

I had a great experience at this shop. The two ladies up front are super friendly and very helpful. The problem with my truck was diagnosed and fixed very quick. There was a small hiccup, mostly caused because my truck has over 200,000 miles on it and i had to bring it back a couple days later. They were very honest and said the problem was from the same issue i had brought it in for originally, so they took my truck back and fixed the problem at no extra charge. I cant recommend this place enough. I found a new place to call my mechanics.

I will not be doing business with Western Edge Auto Center anymore. I will speak on behalf of any Subaru owners DO NOT take your Subaru or matter of fact, I will strongly suggest NO ONE go here. Service Advisor Melissa Bryant is a liar and her Mechanic Mike didnt fixed my car. I wouldnt address him as a mechanic at all. They had my 2015 Subaru WRX over a month and 2 weeks. Because my head gasket and cooling system had to be replaced. I towed my Vehicle on 03/24/2020, and I didnt get it back ordinally 04/14/2020 paid $6725.07 for their service that I thought will be resolved. But NO it wasnt my check engine light literally came back on that same day, and that deeply upset me. I took it back the following day. I kept calling and it was a delay after delay Evelyn wasnt no help at all. So I called 04/29/2020 Only because I had to picked it up to get it repair else where or else they wouldve kept my car till who knows when. During that whole time frame, I was either late or miss work. I kept calling and inquiry when is my vehicle going be done?? Theyre open 8 am till 4:30 pm what were you guys doing during those hours with my car? Melissa stated, they help me with they call a loaner car on 04/15/2020 which the battery died on me that same day with my son in the car, and I was stranded with their junk car 2005 Buick Lacrosse which upset me even more. They gave me a battery on 04/22/2020 and the Buick died again the next following day, and I was late to work again. I believed and know, I was more then patient then anyone else would. They took advantage of my kindness and my hard working money. In which I wasnt provided no type of refund. So even though I lost my money ($6726.07) I hope to help anyone who reads this to deter them from going to Western Edge In Palmdale CA off of Sierra HWY. Especially if you have a family and work a lot that you need your vehicle. My Subie friends dont come here. I already file a compliant to the Bureau of Automotive Repair to get my word out about there disorganize business. DONT COME HERE!

I am visiting SoCal for my sons wedding and found that I had a flat tire along way from the rehearsal dinner, wedding, etc. Melissa ordered a new tire and quickly found a used tire and had it mounted, so we could make it to the rehearsal dinner that night. Melissa went out of her way to help us get this sorted out and only charged us for the new tire. Great customer service is so rare these days that I had to write a review, but its obvious from how busy they are that the word is out. A no BS company and highly recommended.

After going to multiple auto shops by far Western Edge auto center is the best in the Antelope Valley. There small family owned buisness is extremely professional which is key to any establishment that i go too, there customer service was 10 out of 10. from walking in and getting greeted by not only management but team members which gives a sense of trust and honesty to customers. overall this establishment is by far the best auto shop in town. highly recommended.

They checked everything on car and told me what was in desperate need of attention and let me know how much it cost. Then proceeded to complete needed repairs right away. Feel safe when I leave there with my car. I have gone here exclusively for several years for my cars needs.

Do not be fooled by the number of reviews and ratings here on google. These guys really dont care, they will overcharge you and not fix your problem. Then they will text you acting like they care but will offer no real solution. BEWARE, go somewhere else or have your money taken by these Crooks.

Our fuel pump took a dump on us after a 7 hour drive to Palmdale from Northern Cal. Not wanting to get ripped off by the dealer, I took a chance with Western Edge strictly based on reviews. I am happy to say the reviews were spot on. We ended up getting tires for our sons truck and replace the fuel pump. I highly recommend this establishment!

We have been Western Edge Auto customers for some time now, and have been very happy with our experience. The friendly staff make us feel like we are valued customers, and are more than happy to go the extra mile to answer all of the questions we have about our vehicles (being a mechanical engineer by trade, that is very important to me).In terms of the quality of work done on our cars, their mechanics truly care about the job they do, and stand by their work. And rightfully so! I have had gaskets replaced, tires plugged, engine / reservoirs flushed, struts replaced (the list goes on) and have never had to take it back for the same problem.Another attribute of western edge is honesty. They care more about return customers than making a quick buck. I have, on several occasions, had their mechanic recommend to me to decline costly repairs (I had an 97 Explorer which was riddled with nuisance problems).For those of you who are looking for a good, honest, hardworking small business as your auto repair shop, this is the place.

My son Richard is the one who always takes my car in to be worked on, I have only talked to them on the phone to approve the work to be done. They have always been very polite and professional. Where to start! I took my car into the shop, and was told by front desk that a level 3 diagnostic would cost $200.00 dollars. I do not know till this day why I agree to it. This was a rip off. That is way over priced for a diagnostic. I had a second opinion, and turns out that western edge was wrong. It was diagnose wrongly. Was told by western edge that a break booster leak repair would come out to $1,000 including the 200. for diagnosis. . I said what!!! I decline the service.The mechanics were not friendly to me, I try to ask questions about my car and they kept ignoring me. Seems they are under instructions not to talk to the customers.plain and simple, I do not recommend any one to take their car to this shop! WAY OVER PRICED! !! There are many other mechanic shops out there who dont charge for a diagnosis and who are friendly to the customer. Having good reviews does not make them a good shop.

Needed an oil change on my 2015 BMW, no one wanted to do it because they didnt have the right tools/ experience but these guys were sure they could get it done. I didnt want my car to be damaged so I was a bit weary at first but I saw they were servicing other similar cars. I highly recommend.

I was skeptical after being ripped off by so many half at it mechanics, but I was proved wrong when they actually FIXED my car. I now have air conditioning for more than two minutes and the engine light is finally off. I wish I had known about them a while ago, would have saved so much time and money. I will definitely go back to them in the future.

Ive been using this shop since way back when it was Sheppards Muffler, about 13 years now. Ive been nothing but happy with the service. The owner and mechanics are always willing to discuss an issue in depth, and they never try to sell you something you dont need. If a repair job doesnt turn out quite right, they make it right. Prices are about midrange, not the cheapest but fair for the market... tho Ive found they cost less in the long run because things get done right. My truck is now 34 years old and its still in great running condition, in part thanks to being serviced at Western Edge.

This place was my go to place until I found out they have been ripping me off. When I went to another place for a second quote, the repairman told me that I didnt need all the new parts that Western tried to gauge me with. Be careful with this place, especially when your quote seems high.Crooks! I tell everyone about this place and how they gauge good people with their FAKE Friendliness.

I walked in off the street to find a friendly person behind the counter who seemed genuinely interested in helping me solve my automotive issue. I told Melissa about my problem which was a leak that I had. I hate leaks. She gave my key to one of the mechanics, Fausto. He thoroughly cleaned off the bottom of my car and instructed me to come back in a week to see if he could better locate the leak. This, I must tell you, was all at no charge. I was definitely impressed with their professionalism and their honest assessment of my problem. Thank you Melissa, Fausto and everyone else at Western Edge who helped me out while I was there.

Took it to another shop found out my thermostat had been replaced with a 195 degree instead of the stock 180 degree one, no more now leaks now and back to running cooler, I was refered to western but I wont be going back.....my own fault, I should have gotten a 2nd quote...was going over my receipt and found other unneeded repairs were performed......

Melissa knows her stuff...I have finally found an HONEST & REPUTABLE auto repair shop that has very experienced mechanics... Ill be bringing all of my vehicles to them...I wont go anywhere else from now on!!An honest shop is worth its weight in gold... and they are GOLD!!Pep Boys in Palmdale couldnt diagnose my overheating problem and their supposed technician recomended that I START with replacing the thermostat at $239... which would NOT have fixed the overheating problem... next would have been radiator hoses at $318... and when THAT WOULD NOT HAVE WORKED, they were suggesting a rebuilt or used engine at over $5k with virtually no warranty... all because they could not difinitively diagnose a BLOWN HEAD GASKET... I dodged an expensive bullet by not having that stuff done at Pep Boys and going to Western Edge to get a second opinion...Western Edge saved me thousands by diagnosing the blown head gasket on my 18 yr old 191k van... not worth repairing...DONT GO TO PEP BOYS PEOPLE... GIVE WESTERN EDGE A SHOT AT EARNING YOUR BUSINESS... You wont regret it...I wish I had gone to them YEARS AGO...Michelle

My son brought his pickup in for diagnosis and repair...it was misdiagnosed, but even when that repair was done incorrectly they refused to fix the faulty repair job. Then when he tried to explain what theyd done wrong they threw him out. Dont trust your vehicle (or your hard-earned money) to these guys, they are the epitome of the crooked mechanic.

Look no further for a good mechanic, call these guys now and never take your car anywhere BUT Western Edge. They will take care of you. I am from the Yosemite area and was on my way to Joshua Tree when my car broke down outside of Lancaster. Our tow truck driver recommended western edge and thank god he did. What followed was the best experience Ive had with a mechanic to date. My car completely died and needed a new engine, and this is 7 days after I had the engine worked on by a dealer, for 3200.00 dollars, but thats a whole other story. (Basically the situation could not have been worse, I spent the next few weeks battling with the dealership etc.) Being that I was stranded 7 hours from home, with no car, this would have been a perfect opportunity for them to rip me off. Instead, Chris at western edge went out of his way to give a thorough diagnosis, and not only that, they spent maybe 2 or 3 days tearing the thing apart to find the oil leak, so I had a case against the dealer. For no extra charge. For what must have been many labor hours for major engine work, I was only charged the basic diagnostic price of 99.00. As I said before, it would have been a perfect time for a shady mechanic to rip you off, but in my eyes I got a discount, and thats not all. I decided that I would have to leave the car and return to Yosemite to work. Even though western edge has a sign that says you will be charged to leave your car on their lot, they let me leave my car there for over three weeks, with no charge until I was able to get my money back from the dealer, and figure out what to do with a now useless car. They even let me mail my pink slip to them when I donated the car, so I didnt have to drive down there, just to hand it to the tow truck driver. Most places wont do that I learned. So long story short, dealing with Western Edge was the ONLY good thing that happened in what was a extremely stressful mess. I can not recommend them enough. They treated a stranded stranger off the street like family, and helped me every step of the way. Western edge truly went above and beyond the call of duty, and they will most likely be the best mechanic Ill ever go to. I wish I could take my new truck to them. Dont ever take your car anywhere else!
