My family and I did the San Andreas Jeep Tour with Kolin and had a fantastic time. The tour was extremely fun and the sights were amazing! We saw the Salton Sea and also took time to explore the beautiful quartz region within the San Andreas fault. We had an incredible time and I know we are going to do this again. Isabel did an AMAZING job driving off road like a boss and teaching us about the Geology in the area. I am a science teacher and she taught me a lot. She made stops when any of us asked, found bathroom stops, had snacks and cold water. She picked us up on time and dropped us off on time with treat stop on the way. I rented the Benno cruiser bike for my first week in Palm Springs and switched up to a Benno ebike for my second week. Both bikes were in excellent condition. Comes with Helmets and locks. I always wanted to try an ebike. What a blast. Palm Springs has excellent bike infrastructure including separated bike lanes, bike maps and good street bike signage.

Great active way to explore! My husband and I were the lone riders on a July 1 7:00 am earthquake canyon downhill bike adventure, so we got lots of personalized attention from Raul. He was a fantastic guide, very friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. Even for the early July time frame, at that time of day it was quite lovely weather and you get such a lovely variety of views throughout the 18-19 mile ride. Yes, there is a lot of downhill (and my ride tracker shows a very clear decline), but I will say there were some parts where I worked hard enough that I thought I earned my date shake at the end :) My husband and I are both very active individuals, so this was not physically demanding for us, very enjoyable!

Ben was a fantastic guide on our San Andreas Fault tour. Very knowledgeable about wildlife and geology. Great sense of humor and open about his story; also taking great interest in hearing ours. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience with mechanic Zack at Palm Springs Big Wheels. He set me up with a loaner bike and I rode alongside him as he test rode my E-bike to diagnose the problem. He was able to give me feedback as we went along the test drive. Upon our return to the shop he put the bike up on the rack and checked all the connections and further explained what was going on. He is very knowledgeable and got right to the heart of the matter. Im so pleased and highly recommend Big Wheel for all your biking needs! Thanks Zack!

Stopped in here to get my husbands pedal fixed that had fallen off his bike - Zack quickly fixed it and explained the problem, as well as gave us some tips on where to buy a replacement. Weve rented bikes in PS elsewhere before (this time we brought our own) and will definitely be renting from Big Wheels next time based on this great customer service!

What a great way to see Palm Springs’ beautiful architecture and get around town! We used our bikes for morning rides around town, a bike tour, and evening rides to the main strip for dinner. We had a flat and they showed up in minutes and fixed it immediately. They were very friendly and professional. We loved this way more than renting a car, it was such a cool experience. Will be renting again!

Took my bike here for a tune-up. They were super helpful and even let me bring it back for an adjustment free of charge. Great service!

These guys, led by Zack are amazing. I came into the shop with my gears not shifting properly. I could only use 3 of my 9. They put my bike on the rack and within 5 minutes got my bike running like new. They also suggested I get a rear tire which they showed was bald with not much life left.These guys are professional and dedicated and they are now my go to bike shop

I cant recommend Ali and Big Wheel tours high enough. we rented a set of electric bikes and easily spent at least 2 hours a day riding around all the fascinating neighborhoods all over Palm Springs for more than a week and the bikes performed perfectly. They fun part was that we had riders of various ages and abilities and all had a great time. Ali and her Palm Springs location team were fantastic and responsive. Thank you for allowing us to make so many great memories.

Great Indian Canyon bike/hike with Anita. She was so knowledgeable about the area history and geology. She also made certain everyone felt comfortable with the activity. One person in our group hadn’t ridden a bike in 20 years! The bikes themselves were well maintained and easily adjustable for different size ridersAfter the Indian Canyon tour I rented a bike for a day to explore on my own. Again, a very positive experience

I havent had much luck with bike repairs in Palm Springs until now. If I could give Big Wheel Tours 10 stars I would. They are not only good at what they do, they are friendly, professional, honest and reasonable. Not only that, they give you great biking advice and free services that you would normally have to pay for. If you need your bike repaired this is the only place to go. To go anywhere else is simply playing Russian Roulette with your time, money, bike and for maintenance reasons....your life.BIG WHEEL TOURS ROCKS !!!

Rented an e bike for a few days in April. Service was great. Zack was very helpful and accommodating. Brought it back with a flat tire mid rental and it was fixed and I was on my way in 15 minutes for my next ride. Highly recommended for a bike rental when you are in Palm Springs.

We rented a couple of cruiser bikes for the day. Bikes were in great condition and included a lock and helmets. Reservation, check out, and returns were quick and easy.

The staff at Big Wheel Tours was perfect. They rented us very good quality KHS carbon-frame MTBs for the challenging trails in and around PS and Cathedral City. They were abundantly clear about the best trails, and instructions about safety and emergency repairs while on the trail. The mechanic also took plenty of time to insure the fit and bicycle maintenance was perfect, prior to us leaving the PS shop.The trail riding was amazing. Very challenging (both climbing and descending), but well worth the effort.Highest compliments to Big Wheel Tours staff. Great rental experience.

Fantastic customer service. We rented two bikes from Big Wheel in Palm Springs. The bikes were great and the customer service was wonderful. Zack was so timely and responsive including coming back when we got a flat tire after a ride. We’d definitely recommend BW and use them again.

For two previous trips in August, the Earthquake Canyon Bike Adventure didnt make, but this year, a few days before flying out there, I got word that it would, so I was thrilled! I was one of ten (a family of 6 from the UK, with the youngest child being 12, and a dad and two grown kids) who got to experience this ride. On the ride out, I learned a lot about the area from our knowledgeable guide, Raul, and then we were set up to ride. I loved having the freedom to ride it as we wanted while having the security of a sag wagon and a lead vehicle. They carried water, first aid stuff and extra bikes. The ride starts in the truest picture of desert, but eventually winds down through a beautiful canyon that surrounds you on both sides. I stopped to take pictures at a few spots. Although it was considered downhill, you had to pedal and the wind came along with you, but I was honestly lost in the environment and changing scenery. I used the Strava app to calculate speed and distance and the ride was 18.57 miles. I finished it in 57 minutes and then backtracked to find the group and got an extra 7 miles in.Coming down into Mecca, you can see the Saltan Sea off to the left and that was cool. Mecca is an agriculture oasis and it was also our stopping point. The next stop, after rehydrating, was to the Oasis Date Farm where we had a delicious date shake. Great ride! I would do it again! I had a great experience with the team at Big Wheel Tours. I rented a road bike for 1 week and the bike was great and a good value in my opinion. The bike came with spare tube, repair kit and CO2 which came in handy when I had a flat tire on one of my rides. I ended up with another flat and had to bring the bike in for new tube and refreshed repair kit. They turned the bike around in 15 mins and gave me a recommendation for a better route to avoid flat tires. Overall great service and good value for a weekly rental.

There are very good choices of bike sizes and riding comforts. The bikes are well maintained and serviced. Palm Springs is a great community for riding. Lots to see and the distances are manageable. I enjoyed my experience. This is excellent value for the money.

I rented the KHS Flite 850 road bike this past weekend. The bike was brand new and I was told I was the first rider. I am so impressed with Big Wheel Tours in Palm Spring. I work in hospitality and I know great service. The entire process was smooth and easy. Every person that helped me was friendly and professional. Zack installed my peddles, Quadlock and Bento box. I had forgotten to pack my water bottles. Not a problem. I was able to purchase them there and Zack rinsed them out and filled them up with water for me. The bike was awesome. It performed perfectly. I will absolutely be renting from Big Wheel each time I visit the desert.

We didnt take a tour, but Anita was able to help with water, snacks, and emergency gear that allowed a camper to be pulled out of soft sand next to the parking lot at Painted Canyon. What a Blast! Loved renting the e-bikes from Big Wheel Tours. Our group had a wonderful time exploring Palm Springs. Ive been renting my road bike from Big Wheel Tours for the past several years, and I have always been very pleased with the service Ive received.My bike is always ready when I need it, with all the accessories I may need when I ride (spare tube, patch kit, tire levers, CO2 cartridges, multi-tool, water bottle, helmet and lock).They offer several different types of bikes, and ranges within a specific category (at least that was the case with road bikes), depending on what quality of bike and components you want.I especially love that they now have a location in Palm Springs! Much more convenient for pick-up than the Palm Desert location was (for me).

Friendly and helpful staff, bikes are comfortable and in great shape. Very knowledgeable about the trails in the Palm Springs area (including loop directions that turn steep uphills into enjoyable downhills!) Even provided tips for our planned afternoon visit to Joshua Tree NP. Highly recommended.

What a great place, lots of wonderful bicycle options. I got a flat tire on New Years Day and Big Wheel Tours was the only place open. Zach put on a badly needed new tire and inner tube for a very reasonable price. While we were there a group of 14 happy cyclists returned from a tour. Very helpful staff, we will definitely return!

I would give this place 6 stars if I could. Such a fantastic way to see Palm Springs! Big Wheel Tours made the experience of bike rentals . The customers service has been exceptional both on the scheduling end with Ali, to the delivery and bike technician Zack. We rented 5 electric bikes, which were delivered by Zack. He made sure we all knew exactly how to safely ride the bikes. Having the bikes delivered to the house and picked up was a major bonus.

Rented a high end KHS Team Flite all carbon, dura-ace road bike from them this year for Tour de Palm Springs and three more days of riding. My husband did the same. It was a beautiful ride - nicer than my Specialized Amira at home (and thats a nice bike too). It flew up the hill (I won QOM, if that matters). Last year we had KHS 850s and they were solid too (plus we were late and they waited and were nice about it). My friend rode a KHS 850 this year, then bought it from the shop. Great service and nice people. Wont go anywhere else when were in the area.

These folks are great! They know their stuff, both the mechanics of fitting the bikes and the nuances of dealing with customers. I will definitely rent from them in the future.
