Lloyd was great to deal with (our second time working with S&W)...Project was a small vanity from Omega for a pool bath. This was our 3rd time using Omega for cabinetry and I noticed the quality was not the same from the previous 2008 and 2013 purchases. Paint a little sloppy and the seams were not painted well with slight cracks at joints..Maybe the S&W installer should have done a once over to see any flawsOmega should have better quality control but in these times...maybe the mfg is rushing the builds through...Who knows?9/24/2021 Revised Review....S&W came out to resolve the issue so thank you Lloyd and team....5 stars for S&WZero (0) stars for Omega cabinets ( lacking quality control in the mfg process)
Kirsten helped out on a recent kitchen remodel for one of my clients. Though the clients chose to go in a different direction, Kirsten was quick to get us a preliminary quote and was prompt to respond to and questions we had. I would highly recommend working with her at S&W Kitchens
I used S&W for my kitchen and bath remodel. They did a great job for the most part but with all projects of this scope, there are bound to be a few hiccups along the way.The designer assigned to us, Sarah, made the initial planning process as painless as possible. Our angular walls in the kitchen were a challenge, but she managed to lay out a floor plan that worked for us incorporating our needs, ideas, and suggestions along the way. She helped us pick out tile, hardware, cabinets and countertop, lighting, appliances, bath fixtures, and everything else needed. There was a few measurement mistakes with the shower door, laundry room cabinets, kitchen window, and bathroom mirror that created delays in the schedule but they tried to work around them as best they could. The one area where we felt the ball was dropped was her not being with us on certain key, stressful dates during our project after being told she would be with us every step of the way. Two days in particular were the first day of the demo and especially the date of the cabinet delivery. We were left to deal with that ourselves and were not happy about the no show. Short of that, she did a good job.Our project manager on site, Mike, was fantastic. He gave us a schedule with a time line for the entire project and worked fiercely to make sure everything was done correctly, on time, and to our satisfaction. He kept us appraised of who was coming, when, what work was being done and the time to expect them. He was always cheerful, friendly, knowledgeable, respectful, and responsible. He was a stabilizing force that I came to rely on daily. He even went above and beyond with help fixing a few small things for us that were not his responsibility, which was greatly appreciated. He gets an A+. I would hire him again in a minute.A few other stand-out employees who worked on the project were: Handy-man Stewart, who could seemingly do it all from painting to carpentry, and was probably the nicest guy Ive ever met in my life. His attention to detail was spot on and he handled every job efficiently and expertly with a dash of down home southern charm. Another A+ employee there.Tile guy Mike, who laid the kitchen floor, put up the backsplash, and tiled the bathroom shower was exceptional. He was a perfectionist who measured every inch of each tile job with precision and laser sharp attention to detail. The results were flawless. The final key player was cabinet installer John, another skilled craftsman who not only cut and installed all cabinetry, but also installed our windows and shower door. He was faced with a few challenges from incorrect measurements, most notably with an over-sized floor to ceiling laundry room cabinet which he had to figure out how to try and fit into a small area that was not easily accessible. It created a lot of heavy lifting and extra work for him to have to take it apart and reassemble it back together, but he got it done. There were a few issues with plumbing and electrical work that created problems with inspections, but project manager Mike made sure everything was resolved and brought up to code. There was also two occasions when workers brought family members into my home (one brought his wife, another his young son) even though they were not covered by S&W insurance and should not have been on the premises. The project manager was not aware of this and followed up to make sure it wouldnt happen again. All in all everything worked out in the end. We came away from the project with a beautiful new kitchen and bathroom, and the feeling that the folks at S&W did their best to make such an intrusive, messy, disruptive, time consuming situation as stress free, organized and professional as possible. I would absolutely hire them again if needed. I recommend you do too.
I contracted with S & W Kitchens of Palm Harbor to for a major remodel of Kitchen and Den area. Shirley, Mike and Crew did an excellent job from Design to Demolition to Construction and Completion. They always kept me informed and up to speed on the project. The Team was quick to answer questions and easy to work with, when I made a few changes. The remodel was everything I had hoped for and more. Just Beautiful ! Cudos to Shirley, Mike and The Team
S&W Kitchens did a great job with my kitchen and master bath remodels. My designer, Sarah P., understood what I wanted to accomplish, and had a great sense for my taste, likes, and dislikes. My condo is in a high rise, and both Sarah and Eric R., the production supervisor, were great in accommodating association rules. Thank you for all the hard work. I love my new kitchen and bathroom. Working with S&W Kitchens Palm Harbor was a real pleasure! We were very concerned about tackling a complete kitchen renovation that involved plumbing and electric work. Kudos to Mike (supervisor) and Sarah (designer). Mike was in constant communication with us relaying when workers would be arriving each day and acted promptly with any concerns. Sarah did an excellent job designing our kitchen. I needed more space and we needed the entry into the kitchen expanded. Sarah had great ideas. We are extremely happy and will be using them again when we are ready to remodel our bathroom. I would also like to give kudos to Tony, Chris, Brian, Paul and Andre for their promptness and job skills. They all did a great job. Very professional.
I have been working with Sarah Polito from the Palm Harbor office on a complete kitchen remodel. My project is almost complete and looking stunning so far. Previously, she designed my master bathroom, in which I am thrilled with the results. Sarah has been so easy to work with. She is extremely knowledgeable in all things kitchen and bath. She has been more than patient working with me to get things exactly like my vision. Sarah has kept my remodel projects flowing seamlessly. I cant thank her enough for her professionalism and attention to detail.
Tania designed our kitchen and we love it! She is very easy to work with and really knows her stuff. She added a kitchen island which we didnt think we could have. Everything came out beautiful! Tania made our remodeling process easy and we will be working with her again in the future!
We worked with Sarah to design a spectacular kitchen. We havent started our project yet but I highly recommend Sarah if you are looking for a great design. She is friendly, and really listens to what you want in your design. She keeps things modern and practical. Shes down with the fixer upper style. Cant wait to finish our project and will update
I have worked with Tania for years. She is a hard worker and has an eye for detail like no other. Her knowledge of construction and design makes the entire remodeling process a breeze. I would recommend her to anyone!
S&W Kitchens did a great job on my master shower project! Whitney and Eric were terrific! It’s never easy to have workers in and out of your house but S&W Kitchens was very organized and professional
Overall I was very satisfied with the kitchen remodel except for the workmanship of the Holiday Cabinets installed. My feeling with discussed with my designer and I was told they had a lifetime warranty. One of the cabinets was damaged during installation and replaced, one was damaged during installation of the countertop and repaired. One door had to be removed and repaired for damage. This door was repaired and reattached poorly. Other than the cabinets I feel that the electrician, plumber and installers were very professional and great to work with.
We contracted with S & W to remodel our kitchen. I have a beautiful kitchen .. now... but some of the things we went thru we not as we had anticipated. However, I have been back to the office and spoke with Shirley .. and I highly recommend that you speak with her and you will not be disappointed. She stepped right up and had my issues addressed immediately. So talk to Shirley and I am sure she will help you and promptly. Thank you so much for the kindness you showed me.
Everyone I came in contact with was knowledgeable, patient and professional, including the subcontractors. Workmanship was very good and communication with Eric(foreman) and Kirsten(designer) was timely and always clear and helpful.Only reason I didnt rate a 5 is because I feel they are a little expensive, and there were some glitches that led to delays.Overall I would definitely recommend.
I am so happy with my kitchen. Glenn and the staff at S&W made the remodel easy and smooth. The crew went out of their way to make sure that everything was done as we expected. Thank you for making my home look so beautiful.
We had a great time with Shirley today. She had all of our likes ready to view. The store had so many cabinets, counter tops, colors and exactly what we needed.
Working with Tania as my designer twice has been a pleasure. Her experience and knowledge in the field is exemplary. Thanks
Worst experience ever. I have seen other contractors work since s@w and there is far better people out there. Took 7 mos. To remodel kitchen. 3 mos no sink! They were horrible. No communication. Had to constantly call them because of their screw ups. Too much money...too much aggrevation! Started project March 2015. Finished September 2015! Better contractors out there!
Designer lacks communication of project details which cause delays and issues with final design. I’ll never recommend them to anyone.
I have really enjoyed working with Tania of S&W. She is very detailed and understands the need of the client. Thanks Tania
We hired s+w kitchens to do a complete tear down and build up of our 2 bedroom beach condo. Adam Vinson of the Palm Harbor office and his crew did a superb job. They worked carefully with us to consider all the options for flooring, paint, countertops, windows, etc and helped us make the proper selections that fit both our taste and our budget. S+W overcame challenges with permits, condo building restrictions, and unexpected structural oddities. The crews that worked on our place were very capable and professional. With the completed job we have a redecorated condo unit that looks fantastic and meets our every need. We are very happy and satisfied and cannot thank S+W and Adam Vinson enough for creating such a wonderful place to live. I would highly recommend S+W to anyone looking to renovate their house or condo.
Cabinets/designs are great. Installers were excellent. Manfacturer made many, many mistakes that extended our 3 week project into over 2 months!! S&W management/organization was less than acceptable.
What a great team at S & W!Great selections, ideas & excellent customer service!!!
We are Simply Wonderful
