Unfortunately my experience was not the same the store manager Cynthia told me the 1 kilo kitco bar I inherited from my grandfather was a prop and that it was not real gold, She then offered to buy it from me for one hundred dollars as she wanted to use it for a display. Knowing nothing about Gold I promised her if I wanted to sell it after going to get a couple more opinions I would come back to see her, on my way out the door she chased me and told me her last offer is five hundred dollars cash. This made me wonder? I took the bar to Out of the Box gold store in Palm Desert and the nice lady told me it was in fact real and was worth 38,000.00 to her. I was over ecstatic by the companies honesty I did not sell Out of the Box the Bar that day but instead sold it to a local Gold Refinery in Palm Desert who offered me spot which was about forty two thousand dollars. In closing I think you should double check all transactions with this company as they are not honest, well at least not to me I feel Cynthia was trying to take advantage of a un educated consumer.

I feel confident that if you are buying or selling you will be treated fairly and honestly. The staff is courteous and they know their business.

The best part of my experience of Crown Gold in Palm Desert was getting to meet Susana. Knowledgeable, professional, prudent, pleasant, patient and courteous. Such are but a very few of Susanas positive qualities, the same that must necessarily lend Crown Gold the prestige and positive feedback it so enjoys. I had for years held onto a couple, rather ugly pairs of 14Kt gold earrings. Recently I told myself I must make a decision with regard to those earrings already. Did some research then decided to sell (not pawn) these earrings which I had not worn for over 20 years nor did I have any intention on ever doing. I was referred to Crown Gold in Palm Desert. I was further advised I must ask to see Susana. My friends were correct about everything they spoke, especially about this professional and most courteous young lady Susana. When I arrived at Crown Gold it had already gotten so late that it was Susanas time to rightfully retire for the day. I mentioned this when I arrived but Susana just smiled, welcomed me in and asked me to just relax and not worry about a thing. Indeed, Susana made me feel very welcomed, respected and appreciated. I found myself in a far better mood that I had been during the day just in the first few minutes of interpersonal exchange with the lovely lady. Turned out my ugly lil old 14Kt earring, same ones that had been sitting there for 2 decades, were worth far more than I had ever expected. Will avoid citing cash values (just in case is not permitted) but suffice it to say I walked out with 400% more cash-in-hand than I had at best expected, WOW! Susana stated she would double check inspection of my items as well as her estimates in order to maximize my profitability. She did! I have since then learned from friends that she is known for integrity, diligence and genuine care for her clients that she naturally seeks out whatever viable options that will lead to increased client profitability. I give Crown Gold a 5 Star and I suspect this rating would be merited independent of Susana, I felt compelled and obliged to write this review and assign a 5 star driven by the most pleasant experience it was to interact with this genuine, caring, smiling, energetic, humble, humorous, caring, knowledgeable young professional lady named Susana.ps. I have be by there couple more times since my first visit, ha!

Well, its been a long time since Ive felt compelled to leave a review for a business here in the Coachella Valley. I was a little trepidacious about bringing my jewelry into this place, as Ive had a few questionable experiences with jewelry dealers in the past. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by Cynthia Gonzalez, the store manager. She was friendly, helpful, and informative. And she gave me what I felt was the first honest and impartial appraisal of my uncertified diamonds by a professional jewelry buyer. I was impressed, a little surprised even. Her conduct was personable and above-board throughout, and she took care to explain to me everything she was doing. She even has a GIA gemologists certificate hanging on the wall behind her, so Im pretty sure she knows what shes talking about. I would strongly recommend to anyone thinking of selling their gold or jewelry to see Cindy first, or see her last, but be sure to see her before you sell to someone else.

It was crowded, The policy of taking a number and being able to leave while the number worked to the top was appealing. We did so. After visiting two other gold buyers we were blown away by the meticulous method used to determine our scrap value. Each step was carefull explained and demonstrated. We wqalked away with $6,000 and Im confident as a sales rep with 40years of judging people, that we were dealt with fairly, honestly and and that well be back.
