I love this Sephora location, the employees in this store are always sweet, knowledgeable with the products they have for sale. They let you enjoy walking the store without bothering you every 2 minutes! So far I have not had a bad experience and Ive been coming here for years.

J.C. Penneys with Sephora is the very best. Continue shopping on the lower level where home department, childrens clothing and shoes for men, young mens clothing department and of course say hi to John. Worth the visit!

All employees are great except for one cashier. Ill get her name next time. She needs retraining.

This is a great store! Ive been shopping at this Sephora for a long time now and the staff are super friendly and almost always greet me at the door and want to help. The store is always clean and organized. I have great luck always finding what Im looking for and when I have a question about finding something or need an opinion on what products to buy the staff are helpful which is awesome! staff are very knowledgeable. I did a return once and it was fast & easy, no hassle at all! :)Only strange thing I noticed is twice when I came in bare faced (no makeup) I noticed no one wanted to assist me & made me feel like I was bothering them or something which felt kinda odd. It probably meant nothing. Jackie and Marissa are very sweet here too.

Great place for a woman to beautify themselves

Don’t recommend this Sephora. Went looking to see if they carried The Ordinary skin toner, in which I was told they don’t, but the downtown Palm Springs location did (they actually don’t either come to find out). I was disappointed that she didn’t even attempt to ask me if I was interested in a possible similar product. Anyway, I then asked about a moisturizer she would recommend and my god was I so ready to get out of there. She pointed out two but didn’t explain them or really have any confidence in what she was saying. Just basically said “this ones good, and then we have this one if you need extra moisture” and then kind of walked away. In my head I was thinking, you have got to be kidding me right now.Plain and simple their employees seem unaware of what customer service is or they just don’t care about their job. I ended up giving the Sephora in downtown PS my money the next day because the employee that helped me actually took the time to scan the products to show me similarities and benefits between the two as well as asking me about my skin to find a toner that would be appropriate for me. Go to the Sephora in downtown and save yourself the agony.

This Sephora location, staff and product option is the BEST!! The team is knowledgeable, friendly and CLEAN! I’ve always had such pleasant experiences coming to this Sephora with my family, friends or just a solo trip to the mall. I’ve brought a lot of business their way due to the fact the team are professional and always so helpful.Even when they don’t have what I need in stock ATM, I’ve always been offered a sample to last me until they do receive it in stock. They go above and beyond (not just one particular team member but I’ve had great experiences with the whole team) at this Sephora!!

I purchased a $40 foundation at the recommendation of an employee. Did not end up liking the coverage due to the amount of product I had to use to get the coverage I was trying to get...... (I shared with her I was looking for full coverage foundation). I visited Sephora on El Paseo and was given a recommendation in which I absolutely LOVE. I will no longer go to this location. I called ahead of time to ask if product had been used quite a bit if I would still be able to return the person on the other end of the phone stated yes, I drive out from morongo valley only to be told they cant refund the foundation because it was over 25% used. This should have been voiced when I called to inquire on return policy........

Good service but never have what Im looking for

This Sephora has the worst customer service. Ive had to wait several times for assistance, only to feel like Im bothering them. And I almost always have to wait for someone to show up at the Benefit Beauty Bar. Once, I was told I would have to wait 15 mins for wax services because the person hadnt arrived yet. I wait for 30 mins and then find out they had someone else in the chair being helped! No one acknowledged me and avoided me because they knew they screwed me. I go here because I like the products.

Waited 30 minutes to get colored matched for foundation. Then another 15 minutes in line to pay for my foundation which was on hold at the register only to be dismissed because it was not in stock.

I went in to return a foundation and the Galm Glow face mask but the cashier only rolled her eyes at me and kept calling her manager over to the counter, not only was the cashier rude but the manager was worse! the manager said that i cant get my money back for the glam glow mask because it Has to be lightly used and its filled to the very top, but when i first bought it the product was not to the very top and a lot of beauty vloggers reviewed the product and it is not to the very top! but i stayed calm and said it was fine. now lets move on to the foundation, the cashier was shaking the package very hard and open the package after i told her its never been opened before and she took it out of thw packaging and shaked the damn thing right in my face, making me very upset but keeping my cool since i had my sister in law with me! I WILL NEVER SHOP AT SEPHORA AGAIN! Im staying with Ulta! if i can give them negative stars i would

I dont think i have the words to describe this store. its AMAZING. the customer service is the best. Ive been to the free standing sephora down the street from this one (at El Paseo Gardens) and i did NOT have nearly a half as good experience. im a much older woman and i dont take the time to dress nice and do a makeup routine every morning. so, Every time id go to the Sephora on El Paseo the girls looked at me and automatically assumed i wasnt buying and didnt even approach me; and when they did they treated me like i didnt know anything about makeup. At the Sephora inisde JcPenney every single young lady asked if i needed assistance and even offered me samples if i wasnt ready to purchase. Needless to say i will never go back to the store on El Paseo.

Awful service!I was in the area and decided to check out their KVD Foundation, asked to be helped in selecting the right shade for my complex skin tone. The lady who helped me had the worst concealer, it was creased and it straight up gave me a feeling that she didnt know what she was doing.. (because Ive been to the other sephora in the area and every single employee there has the most flawless makeup) which I feel is necessary if youre trying to sell me the makeup, the application of such foundation was heavy, not blended out properly and the shade was off. I kept telling her that I probably needed a shade lighter and she had me clean the foundation off my face with tiny cotton circles, you know? The ones you use to clean off nail polish.. well by the second time my face was already red! and irritated, so she continued blending out the new shade, I was happy with the color but I wasnt ready to commit because its one of those full coverage types of foundations and she made it look hard to blend out. So then I say thank you, but can you give me the number or name of the shade so I know what to get once I ran out of my current foundation. And the lady, looked mad and straight up told me to look at the bottom of the bottle and to take a picture if I had to. Didnt give me the little card with the name or number, didnt ask of I needed assistance with anything else, she just grabbed the bottles of foundation and took off. Like that. So I do not recommend anyone going there to buy anything, with such awful service.. you are probably better off taking a few more minutes in driving to the one on El Paseo than being treated the way I was treated. I honestly wish I remembered her name because someone so disrespectful should not be part of such a great company. But if you see the fake blonde lady with heavy creased makeup. Avoid her.

Sephora at Westfield mall Palm DesertTHE EMPLOYEE CALLED, DIANNE ATTENDED US IN A VERY UNFAIR AND VERY RUDE WAY. WHEN IN ANY SEPHORA WE HAVE BEEN SERVED SO GROSSLY, FOR SPEAKING SPANISH AND IT MADE ME VERY MUCH, BECAUSE IT WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE STORESDue to an incident that my daughter had, this lady answered her with a bad word when my daughter apologized to her. This behavior is unacceptable and even more so in a store where customer service is supposed to care a lot. We sincerely apologize and she was rude and racist in reply. Although we speak fluent English, they claim us for speaking our language.I am very disappointed in the staff who have hired this store that has such a good reputation. He didnt have the decency to apologize to me or my daughter even after the manager spoke to her. They should not hire people like they are who are not prepared to serve a client in a fair way.PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BEHAVIOR I AS A CUSTOMER, I WOULD LIKE SEPHORA TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT HER STAFF IN THIS STORE ..I wish I could give stars I will NOT buy here again I will take my business to another location ...
