My family and I stopped at My Flavor it Place after a stop to rest in the midst of our bike ride. We parked the 4 bikes out front and sat at a table outside along the quiet adjacent street. I went in with my oldest as my wife and youngest stayed outside. We had prompt and friendly service and received our order quickly. The place is clean and cozy with limited indoor seating. We came outside to find the other half of my family being chased by bees that wanted to say hello. When the bees saw my ice cream I became their new best friend. Due to the bothersome bees we decided to take our treats to the BEEutiful park on the next block, whereas we were also greeted by the welcombee committbee.Looking forward to my next chocolate shake, but next time without my buzzing buddies.

This was my first visit and absolutely loved it! I just had ice cream with a bunch of toppings but I really want to try the shaved ice with one of their many flavors on it! Definitely will visit again :)

Love the vibe of this place and all the workers are always super friendly and helpful, it gets busy on the weekend but they handle it great. The soft serve is amazing 😍 and they have so many different flavor combinations for the sno cones!

Really enjoyed the ice cream, but do not recommend to bring your family with kids. couldn’t even enjoy eating with my children because 15+ teenagers screaming/swearing & not even eating anything from this place. even blaring music from their cars, took up all the chairs & had no consideration of any other customer. i’m glad the workers allowed this place to only be teenager friendly.oh & almost hitting my 2 yr old with a football

Just moved to Palatine 2 weeks ago and found this place while out for a walk learning the downtown area. I took my 4 1/2 year old daughter there and she enjoyed it. The ice cream was very good, nice staff there on July 13th, we will be back!

I so wish we had a flavor it place in Michigan. Anytime we come to visit we make this a priority. My wife loves the ice cream and my son and I always get the shaved ice. Super helpful staff and amazing service.

Nothing super special in the dessert department, its soft serve and shakes, things along that line.But it is good, I do plan on coming back.Plus the small shop atmosphere and location over in downtown Palatine is a nice area to get a snack and walk around with the younger siblings or with a date.I recommend giving My Flavor It Place a try.

Cute place with real shave ice, not snow cones. Also heard their seasonal pumpkin flavors are made from real pumpkin. Looking forward to trying other flavors.

Not an ice cream shop. Chocolate and vanilla soft ice cream - thats it. And $4 for a regular cone with no toppings that was not very big. The flavor was good but not a very good value. The staff were fine, no issues there. Ill stick with the cross town competition though. If you want a shaved ice / snow cone treat then this is your place.

Great small shop with different treats. Shaved ice with a plethora of different flavors and ice cream many different ways. Prices are reasonable and portions are great.

Lots and lots of flavors to choose from here! Brain freeze was unique and very tasty! Loved the old building they reused to make this facility.

Very good ice cream, definitely compares to two of the other hoppin spots in town but admittedly the young staff leaves a little bit more to be desired. Nothing personal, but I think a little more attentiveness and maturity could really make this place shine.
