Great experience as a first timer. The staff and Dr. Gerowitz were all very friendly and helpful. I especially loved how Dr. Gerowitz really took his time to explain my sons vision conditions as well as how the treatment works. After couple follow-up visits, we are very satisfied with the vision improvement for my son. Will recommend to kids who need help on vision correction.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Gerowitz for 6 years now. Him and his team are always extremely thorough with examinations and also I’m extremely happy with ortho-k, I only wish I had started it earlier.

My 7-year old daughter developed myopia and it was developing too fast. When I was searching for solutions I did not feel hopeful that there was a way. Im glad I tried and I found Dr. Gerowitz. Ortho K lens actually works. Dr. Gerowitz is a great doctor. Hes very thorough. He knows what hes doing. My daughter does not need to wear glasses now. Shes so proud and she can swim or do other sports without squinting. We hope to continue the treatment till shes old enough for Lasik or when the myopia doesnt deteriorate as fast. OrthoK really improved the life quality of my daughter.

Dr Gerowitz is highly skilled and has a great bedside manner. It took me years of searching to find someone who would address my dry-eye issues, and Im very grateful to be his patient. OrthoK has turned out to be the best things I ever did for my eyes and overall wellness, and they have been incredibly patient and thoughtful with me through the process. Ive worn glasses for almost 20 years, contact lenses dont work for me, and Ive been ineligible for surgical correction. I also work closely around horses, so glasses can be a hazard. This place is awesome. Dr. Gerowitz is phenomenal. The assistant Alma is very good at training kids. I was referred by many Chinese parents who say their kids vision havent changed or change very little after going there for several years. My sons( who are 10 and 11) have been there for less than a year so I am hoping their vision dont change(much) until they are 18 years old. I will keep you updated.

Our old daughter has been a patient in his office for 6 years and the treatment is wonderful. Our little daughter has been a patient in his office for 3 years. The first two years everything is fine. But last year her right eye can not get the right view. So Dr. Gerowitz keep checking her eyes every month. He also remaking the right eye mold twice free of charge. Dr. Rob was fabulous!!! He has served my entire family for years, but it was finally time for me to go in and get reading glasses. My 11 year old is doing great with the ortho-k recommended by Dr. Rob. Hearing about this for the first time a year and a half ago we were amazed at the option to have our son avoid glasses and sports goggles or contacts (which would need to be up dated year after year after year) and instead wear gentle shaping molds while he sleeps. His vision is now better than 20/20!I wish this was an option back when I was a 10-year-old who needed glasses!

Our child started kindergarten in August. Last December she had a new prescription of her glasses but by the end of the school year she was already having trouble seeing. Her eyes had gotten much worse. 09/01/17 she got her corneal eye molds for the first time. In two weeks we saw a dramatic improvement in her handwriting. After four weeks she was starting to learn how to read. She can see now thanks to her corneal eye molds.

I have two sons (ages 8 and 10) who are currently patients of Dr. Gerowitz (aka Dr. Rob) and undergoing orthokeratology treatment. We have a history of high myopia in our family, and after seeing a significant increase in my sons’ prescriptions in less than a year, I wanted to be proactive in limiting their progression of myopia. My 10 year old started the ortho-k program first about 10 months ago, and a couple of months later my 8 year old was also being fitted for his first set of ortho-k contact lens molds. They are doing absolutely great!! My 8 year old has mastered insertion and removal of his contact lens molds.Dr. Rob is a very knowledgeable and compassionate Optometrist. He is an expert in the field of ortho-keratology and has extensive experience in fitting more complex cases. I also happen to be an Optometrist and had no reservations in taking my children to see Dr. Rob. My 8 year old has a complex prescription, myopia with significant astigmatism, and Dr. Rob fit him successfully. My sons both enjoy their visits to Dr. Rob’s office and religiously wear their ortho-k contacts nightly. As well as controlling their myopia progression, another advantage they enjoy is that there is no longer a need to wear glasses (or any correction) during the day. My 10 year old was always reluctant to wear his glasses.I have no reservations in referring others to Dr. Rob’s practice!

The most basic pure myopia OrthoK that the eldest daughter is doing here. When I was in the first year, I said that the next year, the follow up was $450, and the result turned into $525 in the second year. It is required to go every year and not to accept insurance. The eldest daughter was busy last year, and missed the follow up. As a result, the day before yesterday, from the nurse to the doctor, the attitude was indifferent, like what he owed him. At the time of settlement, the price was raised to $725 plus a $130 basic inspection fee! One question, saying that it was because last year did not come, causing trouble, this year will be added. I dont understand what caused the trouble, the same inspection, the same glasses. Nothing at all! We would rather go to other doctors to redo and not be slaughtered here. This attitude! Fortunately, the second daughter did not use this doctor, attitude, technology is good, follow up the price is reasonable ($400, insurance company also cover 200, a lens of money). Remind that everyone should be careful when choosing a doctor.
