Stoped by to get a tank refilled and was told drive to the dock and someone will help you. Waited for 30 min in 80 degree day in the sun and end up leaving empty handed. No one cared to show up and refill my tank. Unbelievable... This is Praxair in Oxnard...

Don’t ask for help here. You will have to repeatedly call back to get help or supplies. Wasted three weeks trying to order a welder and cart from these people. Don’t waste ur time.

Stopped by today and brought with me a MIG welder that I received for free from someone I know. It wasnt purchased from Praxair, but they were extremely helpful regardless.I told them I wanted to set it up to run self-shielded flux-core for gasless welding, and replace any parts that needed to be replaced. I had already switched the polarity, but they went as far as to walk me though a checklist of parts to make sure they were in good working order.They were EXTREMELY helpful, patient with my few dumb questions, and they didnt try to sell me anything except for a very inexpensive pack of contact tips. They even told me exactly which wire would be best for my application.I will definitely be back!
