Im so happy to have found this place as no longer will I be forced to buy inferior wood from the big box stores. Add to that their astonishing inventory of some of the finest hardwoods and exotic lumber from around the world, and this place reigns supreme as one of the best resources Ive ever found for the carpenter, woodworker, table maker, contractor, or just lumber enthusiasts. I drive up here from LA once a month just to walk around and enjoy the wood for at least an hour before I buy. Every time I explore this place I find even more amazing hardwoods.But dont take my word for it. If you are a wood lover, do yourself a favor and stop by this one-of-a-kind place!

Best selection of materials for my projects and good service

Im joining the line of 5 star reviews for this company. The products as well as the sales and service people. We had one glitch in delivery (completely accidental) and they bent over backwards to make it all good. The prices are no more than a big box store for the equivalent products and they are a whole lot more fun to deal with. I recommend this company 100%.

Great selection of wood and non wood products for remodels or upgrades or just for a change. I come here to purchase crown molding, baseboards and casing when remodeling and for new home purchases. Eduardo in yard is very helpful and xan recommend add ins to complement your purchase. Jessie at check out is cheery and greets you when entering. Prices are good and quantities needed are always available.

I am a professional contractor and have been buying from Mayan Hardwood or the last 15 Years. Never had a problem. They always have good quality hardwood, and sufficient quantities in stock, a wide variety of trims, and woodworking supplies. They also carry doors and cabinet parts. If they dont have what you want in stock they will get it for you. The staff is great at taking their time to answering your questions. Special orders are always available quickly and on time every time. I refer all my customers to shop for their materials at Mayan. This is the only place to purchase your cabinet building materials, doors, and trim.

I purchased some Baltic Birch plywood as well as Padauk and Black Walnut hardwood from Mayan a few months back. I was very pleased with their prices and the customer service was excellent. Oxnard is a bit of a drive for me from home, but Ill definitely make the trip the next time Im in need of quality exotic wood.

This is a fantastic place to find all kind of high quality wood for any project you can dream up. They have dozens of woods you wont find in your local hardware superstore, woods like Purple Heart, Red Cedar, Teak, Ipe and more. Be aware they only will cut down wood to the point where you are able to transport it. If you need special cutting done, that is not what they are here for. Everything is inside and covered in a large warehouse with a small office out front that offers custom cabinets and more. Very helpful here in front and back in the warehouse. Bring your tape measure though, some of the boards are huge. Im totally new to word working and Mayan was very helpful in helping me narrow down my option with making making me fill like an idiot. You dont need to be a contractor or a carpenter, Mayan is welcoming to everybody.
