Very clean, and the staff is lovely. I was in town for a funeral and visited every day of my trip— the staff remembered my name and were quick to give excellent recommendations. They have a list of specialty drinks including a Maple Cinnamon Latte, White Jasmine Plum Mocha, Lavender Latte, and Honey Latte—I tried a number of them, and none of them were a disappointment. The Rosemary Vanilla latte is one of the most uniquely delicious coffees I have ever had the pleasure of drinking. We also ordered a duffin (a donut baked in a muffin pan (or a muffin baked in a donut pan???)) that was an absolute dream, and a chocolate espresso cookie that was as big as my face. The prices are good for such a quality experience. I wish I lived here just so I could come here every day. I love you Honey Cup

First time here, been wanting to try for years! Great selections of coffee choices and breakfast items hot and cold. Had the maple cinnamon nice hint of bot flavors, husband da a light mocha and it was perfect not over the top chocolate like he wanted. Egg croissant and avocado toast were delicious. Highly recommend. Will be back with my coffee friend!

Back here again after a long time. I came once when they first opened. I just never took the time to come back. I got the Lavender Latte and you can taste the hint of lavender. Subtle and delicious. I got the Eggcellent Sammy and my hubs got the T.B.C. His only complaint was it didn’t have enough turkey....but he loves his turkey. We really enjoyed this. Great tasting sandwiches, beautiful business and lovely outdoor seating area under a big tree!

Second time, definitely worth coming back. Try the Oatmeal Butterscotch Raisin Cookie. Just like Oatmeal Scotchies from the recipe on the back of the butterscotch chips bag. Also great coffee (I had the Americano). They have outside seating behind clear acrylic/glass to shield you from the breezes. Perfect setting for an afternoon coffee.

Another great place Ventura County has to offer to grab a coffee and bite to eat. My grilled cheese sandwich was awesome and just half of it filled me up with the other half to share to my lovely wife. I also am a fan of their cookies (The Oatmeal one) but I’m sure the others are as great. This place has a lot to offer and I would definitely return for goodies while visiting the harbor. FYI - They sell Cheesecake Pops that are delicious. ☺️👍🏻I was immediately greeted with a warm welcome and the staff was kind and very helpful. Definitely one of the best coffee shops I’ve been to in a while! Their menu is very unique and creative and you can tell they take a lot of pride in their drinks. Also their food items are DELICIOUS. I ordered the Honey Cup Supreme sandwich and it was both huge and ridiculously good! I’d definitely recommend this spot for coffee and a bite to eat.

First time latte pit stop and boy were we lucky to find this little gem. It all looks good, but Ive their iced honey latte.

Came here for a quick bite. Not a huge menu but the food was delicious & the coffee was great too. We ordered everything croissant, HBC pannini & chocolate croissant for the little one. The croissant was very fresh, warm and soft for both. The bread on the pannini was a little more tough but still good. Definitely stop by and grab a sandwich. Will definitely be coming back here again.

The shop is really cool. Nice decor and plenty of outdoor seating. We tried their honey latte which is tasty. The cashier seemed to either be new or clueless. We had to tell her our order 3 times. After waiting for 20+ minutes to get 2 lattes we were very disappointed to discover she only put 1 of the 2 in, despite us telling her it was 2 three different times. They were so busy it was going to be hard to get ahold of anyone to rectify the problem so we called it a loss and left. Due to the vibe and the unique drinks we would love to give them another chance, but they need to fix their staff issue.

So I have been a little timid on writing this review for obvious reason which will be expressed down below. When I entered this establishment and was invited by a beautiful aroma of coffee and smiles, from some employees while one other decided to just go about the conversation she was having rather than greet me with her fellow employees. So as I made my order the little chatter box at the coffee bar whom I assume was the one making my coffee instead preceded to follow her co-worker, who was in fact doing what I can only assume is an actual work task, while following her like a lost puppy and telling about her love life. After about 2 minutes of following her Co-worker the co-worker suggested she make the coffee and than the chatter box decided it was finally time to make my coffee. She than made that coffee and was sure to set it on the counter with quiet the attitude and walked away without the slightest amount of acknowledgement nor even calling my order to inform me that my coffee was ready. Ive been here a few times and every time it seems that they have a constant issue with talking rather than giving customer service. I started coming here during covid and the old crew used to be a phenomenal group of gals who use to bring a bright and inviting laughter to the start of my morning, now I just come for a quick coffee stop but I cant even call it quick anymore. I dont recall the employees name but I can say she was about 57 and Hispanic and looks like she has no interest in customer service and work in comparison to the amount she likes to talk. Based on the other reviews I can tell they have recently had the same reoccurring issue.

I had a medium sized honey lavender latter and love it! It is a perfect mixture of bitter sweet. I tried lavender lattes in other places but it was too milky. But you can still taste the bitterness of the espresso shots while having sweet aromatic flavor. They also had enough patio seating.

Service was terrible! Young girl making cofees was more interested in hangin out & talking & with her co-workers. There were no other customers & had to ask if she was making the coffee. She then starting making it, continuing to talk with co-workers, distracting her with her task at hand, which should have been making the coffee! My opinion, shes using job as social time, just there to collect a pay check!

Excellent food and good coffee. We ordered a running eggs sandwich and a breakfast burrito. The eggs on the sandwich were cooked with running yolks, exactly as promised. The breakfast burrito, in addition to eggs and bacon, had spinach and pesto sauce - a perfect combination of flavors. They are friendly to dogs and have some free treats for the four-legged customers.

One of my favorite places to come and enjoy a cup of honey chia tea latte during the week or after the farmers market . Please note if you come on the weekends, expect a small line. Especially close to their closing time. They have a renovated outside patio which I very much enjoy sitting with my family .Friday evenings the chef makes specialty soft serves such as a girl scout flavored, and lavender. They difer every Friday, which keeps things interesting.So far their service has always been friendly and accommodating. The food is always warm and made fresh. Its a nice stop if you are around d the area .

So, I have been coming to Honey Cup for quite some time now and I have to say, each visit is more delightful than the last. The employees are so bubbly and sweet, most times I am unable to decide my order and the employees always come up with great drink creations that always taste amazing. I was bummed to see some reviews regarding the employees, but unfortunately many people haven’t worked in the food service industry and do not understand the struggles that can occur. If a co-worker is being “followed around” most likely this is called “training”. Making assumptions about the way employees are trained and how tasks are completed is very harmful for the business and employee. Many people don’t understand that just because they have made their order, doesn’t mean that their food is going to be the next order out. Other people were before them & food orders can take longer than drinks and vis vera. Many people have forgotten this. I had to say this as a response to some of the below reviews as many of them are assumptions. I have visited this establishment during their slow and busy hours and regardless of the day and time they ALWAYS call out for the names when a customers drink/food order is ready. I have witnessed them having called the name multiple times, and it seems that a name is listed below in a low starring review. If you didn’t hear your name being called, that is not the employees fault. If you are on the phone and not paying attention, that is also not the employees fault. The entitlement of some people who then come here to add a review blow my mind. I am solely writing this to stick up for all of the employees that work for Honey Cup. And no, don’t make another assumption thinking I know the employees. It is exhausting seeing bad reviews about employees when they in fact are doing their jobs and providing great service. You never know what is happening in other peoples lives, treat food service employees with respect and be patience. Some days it may take a little longer to get your order out, be respectful and wait your turn. The day I witness a female or male KAREN complain about something that is out of the employees hands will the RIGHT day. Because hold up, wait a minute, something aint right.

Mediocre food for the price and time it took to make (plus you have to pay the Oxnard Harbor Surcharge). We could have made tastier food at home. I had the Canadian Waffle to try something different. The flavor was fine, but the waffle was on the small side, thin, and was not crispy. I was still hungry after eating it. My wife had the anchor sandwich, which she rated as a 2/5. One friend had the breakfast kitchen sink we she thought was “eh” but nothing she couldn’t have made at home and another friend had the hummus chicken wrap, which he liked. The house coffee was good.

This was a very good breakfast sandwich. The everything croissant was out of this world, and from there all of the components from the bacon to the egg and cheese and greens came together around it. Two Stars. I like Honey Cup, but its only on par with a lot of the other great breakfast spots in broader Oxnard.

Was looking for vegan waffles and this quick stop popped up but when my wife and I got there I asked about the flechan waffles and they seemed confused and said they don’t really have anything vegan except for a single muffin option. The coffee was ok

Uber cute coffee shop with free WiFi, tons of outdoor seating at the harbor. Beautiful water views and warming atmosphere.They were out of the items I came here for but had other options to choose from.Service is super slow and people are getting drinks before me that ordered after me. For some reason getting the Nutella roll heated & given to me took longer than my drinks. I’ll give them another chance but will expect to receive all my items at once please.

Their signature lattes and pastries are so good. I wish they were open for longer. But its a go to when Im in the area.

Tiny sandwiches, fake avocado, big prices. Not environmental friendly, lot of plastic. They dont use plates, just plastic boxes.BTW a toast is made from two pieces of bread, not one. The top of the focaccia goes to another customer or is eaten in the kitchen?

The honey cup has tons of great hot and cold drinks! Their drip coffee and Great Salted White Frappuccino are favorites of mine. My family loves to walk there on weekends and eat on the patio with our pup, its also right next to the farmers market on Sundays!

The pumpkin spice latte was subtle yet you could still taste the espresso. The waffles were very delicious especially with the homemade syrup that comes with them.

This is the worst run operation in the city. I have visited multiple times and each time experienced an understaffed operation with employees shuffling around like brain-dead zombies. Not uncommon to wait 30-45 minutes for a cup of coffee. Easy problems to fix, just extremely poor management.

The best coffee shop ever! I travel 3 hours to visit and so worth it! The iced honey cup is my favorite :) I also love they now use really good paper straws!

Take your morning routine up a notch with a stop at Honey Cup. They offer healthy alternatives to doughnuts...but, they do have Nutella rolls on the menu.

I know there are new owners now and I’m happy about that but we need to get some training done. Coffee flavor is good, but the last two times I’ve ordered a cappuccino I’ve received pretty much a latte. Mostly milk with like no foam. Coffee served room temperaturefrom s decanter. Shop had no coffee creamer left. Barista lady fondled the plastic lid for several seconds with an ungloved hand during a covid epidemic. An interesting experience for a coffee shop.

Mediocre at best, the food and drinks served can easily be made much better at home. For the price your paying for the location. There are much better cafes in Oxnard, with better prices. Save your money

Best lattes in town! Spring for the honey cup latte

I have been looking forward to coming to honey cup for a while but I’m very disappointed. We sat down and they gave us coffee in disposable cups and plastic cutlery. We assumed a place like this would be more environmentally aware.My husband had the avocado toast which was very plain and looked like it had cheap pre-sliced cheese on top and a bit of plain avocado. I had the yogurt parfait which was 99% yogurt with very little else and was very sweet.Hopefully it improves as I really like the idea and what that are trying to achieve.

A nice little Cafe near a heavy traffic tourist spot. It has a limited selection but they are unique, healthy, and tasty. Not a lot of options for Vegetarians, Vegans, or people looking for low carb items. Parking during the day can be frustrating but thats expected as a popular destination in Oxnard. Their prices are reasonable and facility is well maintained. However, expect 5+ minutes on anything not on shelf as they make things fresh upon order. The time delay is not a negative, people need to appreciate the effort of the place and their attention to individual order rather than the bland franchise/industrial dining experience at all time.

Disappointing to show up at 4 p.m. and they closed half an hour ago. Can also barely read the hours sign. We werent the only ones there were some other folks showing up right after us looking to get in.

The honey cup coffee kitchen is right at the Ventura Harbor. It is attractive and offers many different choices in coffee tea ice creams and other baked goods. Service is very quick and efficient. There is inside seating at tables and comfortable chairs as well as outside seating. Prices are very reasonable and you can get a lot of different variations in sizes of coffees as well. I asked for a particular variation and did not have to repeat my order and got everything dont just exactly the way I want it.

Its an excellent neighborhood gathering spot for a business meeting or hangout with friends, as well as a destination spot for well prepared meals. I found one of my favorite breakfast sandwiches, The Running Egg. The coffee is brewed with care, the espresso bitter as it should be, the frothy cream is sweet with a touch of honey. And the available craft beer selection whispers of jewels from Southern California and Central Coast...Everyone there is friendly and attentive!

Loved the breakfast here with dairy free and/or gluten free options. Very good coffees too. Lots of parking space plus its right at the harbor. So nice!! They sell local honey with the honey comb and without honey comb. Mmm mm

First time being here, was very optimistic saw the reviews and the picture posted. Once i got to the place nothing what so ever like the pictures or the menu.. the place is very confine nowhere to sit.. they only offer cafe n smoothies not like the menu says or the picture. Needless to say i wont bother looking the way again.. besides the lines being long to order anything, they only had one employee working there.. bad service..

Every year, my husband and I pick a different place to have an annual coffee date. Its just about the only day a year when I have coffee. The girl at the counter was so nice and helpful and suggested the vegan waffles when I ordered the donuts but she said they didnt have any because they are working on improving the recipe (thats the greatest reason Ive ever heard for a restaurant not having something available). It was a great experience, delicious food and coffee, and great service. We will definitely be back!

Coffee is good. The food is good...but maybe a bit overpriced, especially breakfast. Please do something about the knats/fruit flies inside...everytime we eat here they are there and cant be avoided...which worries me about your food quality and cleanliness. Our credit card total was also inflated after it had been pending due to a new system in place that was said to be more for full restaurants, a large tip was added unbeknownst to myself at the POS. Your baristas are all friendly and managers are too. Needs a tweak or two to complete the overall vision of what they are trying to accomplish.

Visited around 1:30 and was able to order and receive food quickly. They have gelato in exciting flavors that we just had to order some with lunch. Highly recommend the blackberry Cabernet flavor, it had bits of the berry in it. I had the veggie sandwich with a side salad and it was delicious. Filled me right up but was still light enough to not feel guilty. My friend had the Green salad and she said it was resfreshing. They were very generous with the avocado. Weve already planned to go back soon.Edit: Visited again. It was busy but they were surprisingly quick with our orders and were very friendly despite the rush. Tried the Strawberry banana and Peach, Pear, apricot smoothies and were overjoyed to feel so refreshed. I tweaked the Kitchen Sink breakfast special to follow my diet and the staff were more than happy to oblige. I had to grab a Caramel latte on the way out and was honestly shocked at just how good it was. My new favorite spot

Visited for the very first time with three teenagers for a weekend breakfast and they did not disappoint. Reasonable prices, good food, friendly service, beautiful views. Well be back.

My husband and I split a running egg sandwich it was delicious! Coffee was top-notch, we both gave it two cups up. 🤣 Service was with a smile, & lots of locals were there as well. We definitely would come back again.

The food is fantastic. My daughter loves their healthy desserts as well as their freshly made gelato. This place has the absolutely best coffee anywhere near the Channel Islands Harbor and the staff is always so friendly. Go you will be happy!!!

Have a real coffee grinder at the shop so it was pretty cool. Apparently the coffee here is better than Phil z. You can really customize your coffee if you know coffee really well.Tried the mocha and loved it as it wasnt really chocolatey but just the right mix of coffee and chocolate.
