I have taken my car here many times for repairs and am always satisfied with the work and price. Most recently, I Was having Issues with my A/C. They diagnosed it easily and had me out of there in 30 minutes and gave me a great deal as usual. Honest and friendly mechanics. Get your repair done here if you live in Ventura County.

Scammers in this place. I don’t know the guys name but this place is a joke. I went to ask if they could look at my car because my AC isn’t working and they said they charge $125 just to look at the car and tell you what’s wrong with it. They won’t even ask you if you want to do it, they just say “let’s go check out your car” and I was already going to head out but he insisted we look at the car and asked me to pop the hood open and after they open your hood, he says that was considered a “check-up” and have to pay them $125 dollars! He insisted I give him the $125 because he kept reminding me about how he told me how much it was to check the car out as soon as we met but I never asked them too. I simply followed instructions. But they are definitely some scammers.

I have stopped by this shop half a dozen times during normal business hours throughout the day and never once have I seen a door open or a car outside. Absolutely rediculous. The place is boarded up on the windows and has bars on the door. In over 2 weeks of trying to go there I have never once seen signs of activity like someones been there.

100 bucks to vac out the AC and refill with new refrigerant? Yes, and they did it El Quicko. Humble little place with knowledgeable and friendly staff. My car was blowing AC at 60F, when I got it back it blew 39F. I am a happy and cool customer.

Couldnt be more satisfied..Literally, I could not be more happy with Nash Radiator & Air Conditioning Service. My 03 Mitsubishis AC would stop working when it got real hot outside, which obviously defeats the whole purpose. The first AC guy I went to said it was the control unit in the dash causing the problem. So I replaced that. Twice. No help. The second shop said they think there might be a problem with the compressor, and offered to replace the system for $1200. No way.The third guy I went to said it was the AC relay switch, and switched out right there with the horn relay and it worked! For a day. I bought a new AC relay online, no help. I bought a much higher priced one online, still no help.I was miserable.I saw Nash on craigslist and stopped by when I was in Oxnard. In 5 minutes Eddie had figured out the problem that three other professionals had no clue about. He knew what it was based upon knowledge and experience. That is the type guy you want working on your car. Unlike most other mechanics, whose MO is to throw parts at the problem until it is fixed, he will repair your compressor/other parts if possible. In fact, I mentioned I could get a new compressor online for about $300, and he said thats not necessary - its better to buy one from a junkyard and use the parts from it to fix mine.(should that be the case, if his repair would not work because how worn mine was) Now I understand if youre driving a newer $40,000+ car, thats out of the question. But the rest of us who drive older high mileage vehicles, well we need this type of mechanic.I brought the car back when he had time for it, and he charged me a very reasonable price to fix it.I literally mentally thank him every time I turn it on.Bottom line, I can highly recommend that if you have any AC issues, go to Nash. Regardless of where you live, its absolutely worth the drive. I came from Thousand Oaks, and boy am I glad I did. He is busy, so dont expect to just show up and have him fix it immediately. He offers a free AC check, and he knows what hes doing. Have him check it and then arrange another time to drop the car off for repair.Ads far as any negative review, we all have bad days, who knows what was going on with him during that time period. Its unfortunate that there was a bad experience, but most likely that was an isolated incident. It certainly appears that the positive far outweighs the negative

After I got my ac fixed from this old guy he started being grumpy and bosy as I was asking him questions about it. Didn’t like his attitude at all. I don’t recommend anyone going to this place. People go to the shops where they have 5 stars. Those are the ones that are going to treat you with respect and treat you very well. Idk why I came to this random shop. I should of checked online first. Oh well it is what it is. And don’t bother replying to my review because I’m not going to read it!!

Live around the corner from here and was referred by to Eddie by mother-in-law who had the stealership quote her $1200 for an AC repair. Eddie checked it out and it just had a loose hose and $60 later she was ready to go with cold AC. Thus, ended up taking both of my newer MBZ vehicles here for AC service. Honest and trustworthy service on both repairs. One car (S550) had a computer problem to the AC compressor that Eddie diagnosed but had to be repaired by the dealer and the other one (GL550) was diagnosed by Eddie 100% right on with a bad compressor. Replaced the compressor, etc. and wifes car blowing arctic cold again after repair, evac. and recharge! Just be polite and kind and these guys will give you an honest answer and have an amazing turn around time. Wifes car was ready in under 2 hours. Thanks Eddie and Team Nash Radiator! Would recommend others for sure. Even the neighboring shops recommend Nash if you stop by their places.
