I bought a groupon for tinting my car back in 2008, was so satisfied I have brought my past 7 cars thru the years to be tinted, this year they were there with Covid restrictions, but still very friendly, and they did another great job, I would recommend them 100%

We tried to resolve an issue with Miguel and we didn’t get a resolution. Our next step is to file with the BBB Better Business Bureau. Paid over 4K! I’m a reasonable person, however, to resolve the issue Sounds Good Stereo asked for more money. Sounds Good Stereo not only forgot to return all original parts as requested, but they are also making me pay for (4 pieces) that they lost/misplaced. Our GMC Sierra kit lift was a fail and when the issue was noted we notified sounds good promptly and once again we didn’t get a resolution other then more money.

This has been my 2nd bad experience at soundz good, the first issue was they damaged my headlights and after speaking to Miguel, they were nice enough to install the new headlights I purchased, at no cost so that was great! I recently(today)took my Cts back due to bubbling tint and the man (bigger guy) was beyond rude! He claimed he couldnt find record of my car being tinted there, to make matters worse he was very rude. Speaking to me and then speaking to another customer after she specifically told him to help me since I was there before her. He then was on the phone and completely ignored me. One of the younger guys took over after seeing how he was acting and he helped me. He and the young man who does tint were the only helpful and friendly people who seemed to have good communication skills on how to properly treat customers so thank you guys!

Came in early in the morning looking for a Bluetooth radio and my man Victor greeted me with kindness. Laid out a bunch of different options and prices at me which I appreciated. Got my car done in less than two hours. Great service great employees definitely recommend.

JAVIER SAVED THE DAY!I gave this shop a call after I found them on the Viper website as an authorized dealer. I called because I had a Viper unit installed by another company and the SmartStart functionality wasnt working. It turns out that the installer at the other company didnt activate my account, which is why I couldnt pair my vehicle to my phone. Javier was able to activate my account and get me connected to the car. Unfortunately for me, there still seems to be a problem, but Javier advised that I can get the part replacement and take it to their shop to have them install. He also helped with a few other issues I asked about and was extremely helpful. Recommend this shop highly!

I got upgraded my dash stereo system here’s and went very well. Apparently they made a mistake with the order and admitted and upgraded me to a more expensive stereo. Very good customer service and definitely will return again!!

Theyre very Friendly, Informative, the Pricing is amazing and theyre Quick!Friends & Family have had their Rims, Tint and even Custom LED Lighting done. Miguel always makes sure to explain everything before and after the installments and answers any questions. He has always been super flexible with appointments as well.They will forever be my go to place to have any modifications done to my vehicle, as they are the most trusted around. The team all provided OUTSTANDING service. I went in for window tinting on a car I just got. The prices were the best in town and even though the place was packed, they took their time to explain the options and the differences between the different types of tint that are available now including ceramic/crystal tint. They have a plotter machine that cuts the tint to each vehicles specifications... this means a PERFECT cut every time. I have had quite a few cars tinted in my life and this job was perfectly cut.

Ive had my windows tinted here twice, was really happy with the first job which is why I came back. This time around the windows still look good but I only recently realized that the sun strip has a gap around the mirror which they didnt leave on the last car, makes it look like it has eyebrows almost instead of being a clean line all the way though.

Definitely do your research and know exactly what you want before walking in. Their selection of products is about average the store is pretty small. Their prices are already marked up as they have to make a profit off of it + they charge a good amount on installs. Make sure you shop around at other stores too before making a purchase with them, I won’t name any exact stores cause I don’t want people thinking I was paid to write this or something, but I was able to get a better deal with better equipment locally in Oxnard literally like .5 miles away.

So I dont not much about sound systems, ok wait I dont anything about them lol. So Ive been looking around for about two-three months now and I went with sounds good and to be honest I couldnt be happier with that choice. Right away I was helped by Manny and this other guy but didnt catch his name but hes Spaniard cool guys.had no idea what I wanted but after them talking to me and getting to know what type of sound I wanted they had me covered with a quickness and broke everything down for me from sound and to the pricing and now my truck is gna be sounding real nice. The first time I went I believe his name was Pat he treated fairly well and helped me out a lot he explained to me the financing option very clear and made sure I understood the consequences if I dont pay it within three months. This place is very well over priced had gone to other locations and were more affordable the only reason I chose this location was because they had a payment plan. I got a car alarm system and window tint. I made my appointment for the car alarm and everything went great. When I started having a problem was when I made an appointment for the tint. I called to make my appointment for the tint they told that a day and time was available I had said I would have call back. I only get one day off out of the whole week and schedule is random I call my manager to see if she can actually give me that day off and she agreed. I call back within like 5 minutes and they confirmed that I had a day and a time. One day before my appointment I called to see what time my appointment was because I had forgotten and they told me that there was no appointment. I work with customers as well so I try to be understanding because I dont want to sound like a rude customer. I thought okay maybe there was a glitch in the system or something so I rescheduled again. A lady helped me I believe her name was Urania (not sure if i spelled that right) she gave a confirmation number and everything. I had call my manager once again if could get that day off for the following week. Unknowingly my sister also had an appointment with this location when she showed up they told her that she wasnt in system either. The situation with was even worse than mine because they told her to leave her car and they didnt call her until closing time and they didnt do anything to it. Instead of calling till the end they shouldve3just reschedule or call her earlier to pickup her car. I just want let everybody know that make an appointment to get a confirmation number or something. They do a good job on my tint and my car alarm but they need to understand that it is not always easy for somebody to make an appoiment. I forgot the names of the other people that help me. Urania was such a great help i kept checking in with her and she didnt sound annoyed or anything everytime I called to confirm my following appointment

Wow where do I start with this one I usually go to audio experts as I have for over 20 years. I was there with my son who had purchased the stereo on his own. I was personally going on a trip and had recently purchased a new van and started to look at some items and was approached by a Salesman. I was leaving on Monday morning for my trip and had no plans to purchase a system and was told they couldnt install a complete system including a deck 8 speakers 2 Subs 3 amps and a capacitor and Battery and have it done by Sunday which they almost did it was done Monday morning. First of all when I picked up my van unknown to me my locks that control my entire car did not work. My alarm system was non-functioning. The front to back staging of the speakers and how they wired them was incorrect. I really wish I had taken it to where I usually take my cars but due to the time restraint thought they could do a good job. I will never visit the store again I wont even go in to have the repairs theyre done I will take it to audio experts and have it done right. I dont have any other experience with any other audio shops in Ventura County so I cant really comment except for sounds good.

So I bought tires from here. The company that finance was zibby. Worst decision I made. The manager sweet talk about this company that they give you 90 days to pay off the whole amount before their is any extra charges and interest rate. That sounds great? Well things dont always go as planned.So when I asked the manager about what was the interest rate after, he completely turn it around and never aswer my question. This should of been a red flag that I should of known I was making a mistake. If youre going to this store to buy something make sure you do not let them convince you to finance with zibby! ITS A FRAUD❗❗Make sure you have the cash or a credit card to pay. Do not sign with zibby theyre a fraud.

The sound quality is great but my only complaint is that I got a DVD player but it doesnt even let me watch a video even when my truck is parked. Second I was told that the in dash I bought would have the capability to do mirror mode on my phone which it doesnt. The service was great but felt kind of cheated with these things I was promised.

I was new to the area and had just got a new car. I heard about this place through their radio ad. After multiple subpar interaction with this place heres my takeaway. Customer oriented staff trying solely to make a sale. Their shelf prices are initially marked up a little too high but when making the final purchase they combat that with deals, special offers and savings that would be about appropriate considering their a vendor who still needs to make something for the merchandise.After i noticed they offered more than just amps, subs and capacitors I ended up getting a lot of customization work done aswell. Across the board the quality of the work was below a perfessional standard. Having multiple sound systems before I knew atleast the very basics. Knowing that my (stock) head unit which didnt jiggle prior to the work should not jiggle after either. Which they did admit after I brought it up, some part of it had broke that they had intensions of fixing it once they ordered it at no cost to me. Personally i feel mistakes happen and i understand that completely. If i have to return the day after with a complaint to be offered an apology with a solution at that point doesnt really sit right with me. I paid for the upper teir LED lights because i hate when the lights dim when the bass hit. When I picked up the car i noticed the light had to power up so i popped the hood and it had the packs for H.I.Ds. when i brought this up i was told again sorry but the lights i wanted couldnt work with my car so they put in what they could.( At no point was i made aware of this in the day and a half they had my car). Why not leave my headlights alone if the product you sold me wasnt correct. On top of that they glued not only my headlight unit closed apparently the H.I.D kit was incorrect aswell and they glued that into place. The work was so bad that when i took it to another shop to swap my day time running light they refused to work on it because they didnt want to be responsible for trying to put my headlights back together. The wires were also the thin speaker wire that came with the kit they installed and said theyd be fine for the set up i had, which was incorrect. You dont push 1500 wats through standard speaker wire. They did tint my windows which is honestly the only thing i think they did a good job at.Every step of the way through this process i learned even with an appointment that a no problem 20 minute job would have me waiting there for hours on end. I would drop my car off before work the day prior and they would never call at the initial dead line to let me know why the work was not done yet or how much extra time they might need. Another thing that i got a lot was when taking my car back to them for any reason covered by the warranty they offered to honor it but there was always a cost somewhere with that be it for a new piece at a discount or the equipment was free but i would just need to cover the some part of the labor.Ultimately sounds good stereo can make a sale. Sounds good could not give me reliable, quality work in a timely fasion. In hindsight if i could not have had these interactions with them. I would have saved myself a lot of time being frustrated and money. Please learn from my mistakes.

Rami is the guy that helped us, he knows his stuff and is an awesome person. We got a flip out screen stereo with the amp and 2 twelve inch sub woofers installed and my girlfriend got new rims and tinted taillights all for a good deal. Driving from Santa Barbara was worth it too as Rami called us to let us know when the car was ready, we will be coming back again to do business with them. Great experience. Miguel was very helpful, knowledgeable and informative with my Inifiniti QX56. I had issues with my headlight going out. He was able to pinpoint the problem and provide me an alternative to what the Inifiniti Dealer recommended, which saved me $300. I highly recommend Soundz Good and the team there.

First of all, let me help everyone out by saying do not even waste your time spending your money here. I stupidly walked in Soundz Good in the market of buying a car audio system. There was a lot of going back and forward with negotiations on an inflated price. Finally, I got tired of trying to lower the price, I walked out of the store and the sales man approached me and lowered the price for the system. I gullibly paid them to install the system in my car. A few weeks later, my system started turning off and on, the amps were really hot so I took it to another stereo shop in town and asked them to look over Soundz Good installation. The installation manager, opened my door panels and showed me that the parts I paid for were never installed in my car. This is an unacceptable business practice and down right theft. I just want everyone to know that if you spend a dime at this store, you better make sure that you see them physically install it or else you will be in my situation.

Doesnt sound good should be more like it. I have grown up in the Ventura area and had herd everyone talking about how long sounds good has been around. So why not try a stereo shop that has been around forever. BIG MISTAKE. First of all they know nothing of customer service. I went in and didn’t even get any help at first because everyone was talking and fooling around. Like i was nobody in their eyes, worried about the car club members not you average JOE. Then finally after 15 min’s Miguel approached me. Right off the bat tried selling me a deck that was way over priced and honestly i didn’t need it. All i wanted was some speakers and an amp. After he constantly tried to sell me overpriced things that i had no need for, i finally broke down and bought a system with them. I figured Hey if they have been around for so long they knew what they were doing. BOY WAS I WRONG I not only got my car back it was a mess. My car is no trash can so why leave extra pieces of wires everywhere and plastic baggies. So after hearing the system my left side speakers didn’t even work. I took it back for them to fix and they hassled me about it. After pulling their teeth to fix something they messed up it was half assed fixed. Some of my speakers were not even screwed in all the way. That’s not all, after looking around at other places that had product similar to sounds good they ended up being the most pricy place i could of went to. I would strongly recommend NOT going to sounds good unless you want ripped off and lied to.SO IF YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF SOUNDS GOOD.THANKS MIGUEL

Great car audio experience. Fixing up my car has always been a hobby of mine and after trying a variety of stereo shops I found one that has done it right for me. Thank you Soundz Good for making my Lexus sound amazing. It is hard finding a shop that truly takes care of me. I thought I knew what I wanted, I purchased a JL Audio and Hertz speaker system but still wanted more sound. Since I was on a budget I bought JL Audio 12w3 woofers and alpine speakers but it didnt hi tthe spot. I went back a couple weeks later and Soundz Good was able to upgrade me and now I am very happy. I want to share that the Hertz door speakers and 12w6 woofers are exactly the sound I was looking for, you must hear it to believe it. Thank you guys for making me happy!

SO I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT ON A THURSDAY MORNING TO TAKE OFF MY TINTED WINDOWS AND THE APPOINTMENT IS AT 10:30AM FRIDAY AND OH BOY THEY TOOK 3 HRS WITH APPOINTMENT TO TAKE THEM OFF LIKE SERIOUS WHATS THE POINT OF MAKING APPOINTMENTS IF YOUR TAKING THAT LONG. THIS PLACE ITS WACK. THERES NO DEALS WHAT YOU HERE IN THE RADIO ITS A FAKE THEY JUST WANT YOU TO CHECK THEM OUT AND THEN THEY TELL YOU A DEFERENT THING WHEN YOUR REALLY THERE. TRUST ME I DONT RECOMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL.

Miguel not only HOOKED me up with a GREAT Deal but the Installers went out of their way to try different Amps and Woofer boxes till the sound was AWESOME!!The Tint job was Flawless and the Alarm lets me know if the alarm gets set off on myI-phone.
