Great good restaurant with tasteful dishes and an affordable and excellent moon menu (Sept 2021). Definitely recommended despite the fact that they are a bit remote, but totally worth it.

We were there for lunch today with 4 people, I can only say very tasty 😋. We had tarte flambée with bacon and sandwich with ham, cheese and 3 fried eggs. We made a reservation there beforehand and thus had an excellent seat. It is not a low budget restaurant but the quality of the food is convincing. Clear recommendation from us and therefore 5 stars.
Nice tent on the water. Tasty beers and good Rosé. The food looks great. Had the break bread and the pasta scampi, delicious!! Dessert was also superb (raspberry mouse with white chocolate).
Nice place on the water.Fried scampi with curry ordered. However, no fried but cooked scampi with over cooked rice, dull curry flavor. The smell was unpleasant and it was a sour taste. Something had clearly gone wrong here. The taste was not pleasant. The waiter was genuinely concerned.They also correctly admitted that something had gone wrong and suggested ordering something else, but my appetite was completely gone at that time.The scampi were not charged for the correct handling of this situation.
Nice restaurant with good menu. Been many times.Service is normally excellent. We ordered a main course fish of the day. We were served bread and nachos which made us think these were side dishes. Moments later we got the fish with chips and were told the bread and nachos were not for us. We found this very annoying because we had eaten this unintentionally. We wanted to sort this out with a tip. In retrospect, it was just charged to both. So no more tipping. Not tidy and very disappointed by the owner

Just had dinner, super tasty and very good and friendly service. But then the owner, I think he is the owner, gives the five people something to drink and the two people who are also sitting there, so we, nothing at all! We could have become regular customers because we are staying at the campsite, which is a pity! Another tip, do this in discretion in the future

Great restaurant with a large outdoor terrace and a view of the Wessem marina. The ambience of the restaurant, the tasty, visually appealing dishes as well as the good service have earned a 5 *****. The only small disadvantage is the view to the north of the conveyor system. The price / performance ratio is also completely ok. Definitely worth a visit. 👍👍👍

We celebrated a birthday here with 4 men. After the 2nd portion of shrimp we missed the herbs and after a next order we even got burnt shrimp. In total we had an invoice of 300 zn incl drink. So we really havent been sucking. But if you sell unlimited. Make sure that the quality remains stable. Thought it was very sad that you get flogged with junk when the loot is inside.

After having ordered a Menu curry rice with a few Scampi this plate had SO on. I had never had that much .... sad face ... when the owner asked if everything was after wish and enough ... answered I ... I found it very little .. Softly expressed ... I still got a tiny bowl of dry rice applied ... my companions were open-mouthed ... arrived home .. the BBQ quickly turned on ... hungry !! So we dont stop there anymore ... Suxx6 onwards.

Restaurant The Beacon is beautifully situated on and even on the water with a view over the marina of Wessem. Attractively furnished with knowledgeable and friendly staff. The menu is small but fine. Every plate is an edible painting. We chose the menu-not-on-the-card and had a delicious meal. Recommended, even if the terrace is open outside.
Lousy business,the card is minimal,long wait for your food,and the food comes straight from the freezer, bland and tasteless .. really NOT worth the money !!Even the kids didnt like it.You better go to the chip shop in Wessem, compared to them, you still get value for money!We should have known already ... because the water there is full of the Germans,but no one who is crazy enough to have a bite there .. 1time never again, understandable!So for us also the very last time!Filthy business ... Deserved a big 0!

Very attractive restaurant on the water near the port of Wessem with an extensive lunch and dinner menu. In the summer you can relax on the spacious terrace with a view of the harbor, and the restaurant is also very atmospheric in winter. Recommended is the unlimited spare ribs dish on Wednesday evening. In combination with a delicious wine (the Pinot Grigio is really a must!) It is pure enjoyment and host Michiel makes you feel really welcome.

Nice and helpful staff. Food lacks personality and character, there is not much on the menu that cannot be made at home within 10 minutes. Price-quality ratio is also very disappointing, for what you get the price is very high.

The first two times it was great. But last week, admittedly it was busy, below par. Schnitzels a la Makro with bizarre price, sand in vegetables, well-intended but starting and jeans-wearing staff, not normally a problem, but allure may play a better role for such a beautiful tent. I did not expect discussions and the defensive attitude of management, but hopefully lets keep it on incident. I am quickly satisfied, but this continued to nibble. Success for the future and make the picture correct again

Very nice owner. Think the food is disappointing. A small bowl of raw vegetables for 6 people. Furthermore, no warm vegetables. Price in relation to what you get way too high
Waited very long for a sandwich without any apology. After an hour we heard that new guests were being warned that the food was taking a long time due to the crowds and we were offered a free drink with the food.
