A necessity for book-lovers. Lovely helpful staff. Only issue is clarity in price, with multiple old stickers on several of the books.

Picked up three books there tonight. Staff was friendly. And they were doing buy a book for the Wendell Foster Center. A great cause to help others.

As avid book readers my husband and I love hanging out at bookstores like Second & Charles.They have a pretty wide selection my favorite thing is hauntings and my husbands history and true crime they have great selection as far as authors and titles. All in all a pretty nice bookstore

Have been looking to visit this bookstore since before the pandemic. Its not what I expected. Arrived there late on a Saturday night, did not get the whole experience. Impressive though, could spend a whole week there.

They have all the books I could ever read. I just wish I had enough money to buy them all.

Not a bad place overall. Just a re-badged books a million. Some prices are good but most are high if you shop around. Probably the best place in town to get books, and a great selection of pop figures. Board games are all over priced compared to most other places and everywhere online. They do have a great selection of nifty little gifts or nicknacks to give people or add to your collection.

The staff are helpful, the blind date with a book is a fun idea, and there are always new things to look at no matter the time of year.

There are not enough chairs or benches scattered through out the store. Their are people that would enjoy shopping there who cannot stand and walk because of a handicap. Need to sit often.

First time shopper. Loved this store. They have everything imaginable in books, even rare ones. They have tons of fiction, history, bios, etc all at reasonable prices. I bought a huge box full which included dvds, and misc items too. Thats correct!! They have toys, games, nice gifts, and much more. Glad I stopped by and will be back. Wish I lived closer. Book selection favors fiction. Hard to find useful books. For a book store not enough focus on books.

I love this place. The novelty items and very specific things that you can find here is amazing. Owensboro definitely needed this kind of store.

2nd and Charles is way over priced. They have a fair selection of books and comics but still. A bit pricey

We went in this evening to sell some books. We stood around for almost two hours and finally went to see what the problem was. They had lost our books, then found them, and nobody had even looked at them yet. So they told us the manager would look at them now and it would be about 10 mins and they would have an offer. So we were already annoyed because they were supposed to have been looking at our books way before now, and it was almost closing time. Then, we were offered $8 cash or $14 store credit for hundreds of dollars worth of books in excellent condition. I feel like they rushed because it was 15 mins til close, but whatever the reason we weren’t offered a fair price at all. This place is a joke if you’re trying to sell books.

Sam and Brenden are the linchpin of this whole operation. Without them the store is nothing. Also it smells weird most of the time and its disorganized. Good selection if you can find anything though.

There is truly something for everyone in this book store! Best selection of topics and titles Ive seen! Alas I, toys and collectibles, some hard to find like Predator and Star Wars merchandise They buy, sell and trade. Prices are quite reasonable

The free book bins are worth digging through, (I found Keith Richards autobio in the free bin).Anything from books to comics (and grafic novels) to games, toys...Did I mention I love this place?💕💕💕💕

Very cool store! Lots of stuff to see so allow yourself a lot of time to wander. This place is not good for quick visits. Books, movies, video games, pop culture collectibles, plus a really nice kids section. This store is a hidden gem in Owensboro!

Really enjoyed checking out this new book & music store. They offer many wonderful things. Lots of novelty mass market produced garb. However you can find some good prices amongst the clutter. Make sure you have to to burn as it will take you some time to work through this place. Toys, games, and so much more. I will go and play around here again soon.

Fun place, as a book lover I can find whatever I want. Lots of neat finds if you look. Wish I had more time to just sit and chill there. Good atmosphere and good people.

The store has a lot of cool things up for sale. Ranging from movies, books music, toys. However, they also buy items from customers. Theyve scammed myself and a few other people I know. Overall, go to shop, not to sell.

Oh my goodness. We stumbled on this place purely by accident and now we visit every chance we get. My boyfriend loves the comic book section and I enjoy the clearance books. Great place for kids as well 😊👍

I loved the book wall and the merchandise. They have something for everyone. Such unique items and great gift ideas.

I found some winter gloves and head band regularly $20. each or 6 dollars. Saving about $34. Great bargain! Then, found some tree of life earrings. I dont wear for $6. (One for my key chain. One if the rear view mirror.) I live for a good bargains. I did have problems reading the receipt. 6 + 6 + tax. A few cent shy of $16.00. Math dont work. I looked for a Coraid tax. Id heard some store were adding that. Not on my receipt. I went to car. Know I was cheated. I just didnt worry about it. I dont like theirs receipts. I guess it was ok store. But watch the prices. I normally world fight for a dollar but. Im so glad that stores are opening up. I chalk it up for lesson learned. Oh well.

I came there to look around and a young man in a wheelchair asked if he help could me. I said i wanted to see what they had in the Christian section. He showed me the Bible Covers. I bought one! He was very polite and courteous. Very nice young man.
