Friendly, polite. Someone in every department quick to offer help at finding what I look for. Lumber (2×4) much better quality than other like stores. At better prices.

Whenever I need something from this type of store I always choose Home Depot first. Most of the time they have just what I am looking for. They are always very courteous and helpful. I never feel lost when I shop, and am made to feel empowered to take on any task on hand after asking questions from our friendly Home Depot employees.

Good service, price, well setup displays and the floor help was fantastic. Couldnt have had a better shopping experience.

Made a quick stop and asked a associate where something was he not only took us there but found a better version for next to nothing. Clean, fast and friendly service.

Kid supposedly working in housewares sold me on a non skid pad for rugs. His knowledge and expertise fell short as it didnt work. Actually we decided it was dangerous using the pad. Why, Oh, Why, didnt I listen to my gut instinct? Watch out for those flakes working there.

WE LOVE OUR HOME DEPOT in Owensboro kentucky everyone is so helpful and knowledgeable. We ordered a refrigerator and we love it BUT the delivery company R.A.S Logistics cant drive they tore up our bush when they came in the alley and drove through our yard, didnt tell us about it. Called claimed dep, witch is a joke. We need all kinds of proof, Even though its on video. HOME DEPOT PLEASE CHANGE DELIVERY SERVICES.

As a contractor i am in and out of the major home improvement stores. I find this home depot to be one of the better store. Mostly because of the staff. I can always find someone in the departments to help me find what i need. And pro service desk is the most helpful of any other store for miles.

Ive always been a lowes guy but I have to admit that the employees at the home depot are by far more polite and more knowledgeable. Its like pulling teeth trying to find someone to help u at Lowes.

Good selection, only reason its 4⭐ instead of 5 is because I cant always find what Im looking for. Otherwise, not a bad place.These are like auto parts stores though. You have your die hards that prefer specific places. Im one wholl go wherever has what I need.

I travel an hour to shop here because the customer service is so much better than the local hardware chain store!! Their selection is better also. Be careful, my local chain is trying to copy you. Not succeeding in any way though!!

Great place to find tools, plants, paints, etc. At reasonable prices for good quality items. Everyone is always a big help in finding what we need. Though sometimes the lines can be a bit long when they are short staffed. Longest wait time to check out for me was bout 15 minutes. But I guess that isnt too bad.

Went in. Got a key. Great service. The guy in charge of the carts was killing it and was super friendly!

The employees at the paint department are awesome . So helpful they answered all my questions and gave me some really good tips .

Found the online item i was looking for on the top shelf. Ask the young man at the pro desk if he could call someone to get it down and he said he could get it for me no problem. It was good to see someone that took helping the customer seriously. I did not get his name but he did make a difference for Home Depot.

Terrible experience returning a product that was ordered but the incorrect item was shipped to me. Had to pay for correct item to be resent to me and have not received my refund for the first item that Home Depot sent wrong. Should have been handled completely different especially since they screwed up the original purchase. Not very happy with Home Depot!

Asked for help 3*THREE* times...waited over 30 minutes in the area I was needing help in. NO ONE EVER SHIWED UP!!! Total waste of time. And the employees act like they dont care.

After waiting two months for a glass top stove, the delivery has been pushed back yet again for almost another month. We canceled the order and learned our lesson to shop locally versus a company that could care less to remedy a bad customer experience.

Home Depot is the greatest, they know what they are doing there and always friendly.

I normally love home Depot, but when it comes to appliances not so much. I needed a refrigerator ASAP . Had to hunt some one down to assist us,was told dont keep any in stock. Probably 50 to 75 displays and none in stock? Wont be back for appliances again ( 2nd time had bad experience ). On a positive note love every thing else about the store just not appliances. We will be back. 5 stars if not for appliances.

Great store. Sadly, over in electrical, there are empty spaces everywhere and no electrical sales person to help. Im an electrician, so I helped the folks that needed it.Still, I wasnt able to get half of what I needed for the job with all the empty shelf space...

I had lost my receipt for some storage containers that just werent working out and for some reason hadnt used my home depot card on the purchase. Your staff offered to check any other card I might have used. Turns out I had used my bank card for some reason. I really appreciated the extra steps. I was able to return the items and get what I needed.Thank you for your pleasant service and going the extra mile to help me.

I shop here frequently and for the most part its always a pleasant experience. Some of the employees could use some help with their people skills though. I asked one of the cashiers how she was doing and she just looked at me, didnt say a word, and turned the other way.

I went with my brother to purchase some decorative gravel, not only did he get shorted a bag but the young man who got it for him had no idea how to load it on the cart and then did not assist with loading it! Extremely poor customer service.

I have built an addition on to my house using Home Depot. If I needed to order special, the employees were very helpful in my decision making and very knowledgeable in there area. Always someone able to help you. If someone works a different area, they will still try to help. I love the choices on so many different brands.

Went to buy a washer and dryer, was waited on by Amanda. She was very positive and knowledgeable about her job, so I bought the washer and dryer from her. I would recommend going there to buy. I had first went to Lowes but couldnt get waited on so I left, glad I did.

I usually go to Lowes. I go to Home Depot ONE TIME to buy this Klein tape measure, and they didnt even have the thing in their system. I mean COME ON Home Depot. Definitley just lost a customer for life.

Went to store for a door latch. Asked a employee and they sent me to plumbing. Thinking it was a mistake I asked another employee and they sent me to plumbing again.Didnt have time to make purchase cause was sent to the wrong location before closing. Still dont know where they are cause the employees I asked just pointed to the location rather than actually helping a me.

Had a very poor experience with customer service desk after being very patient with their assembly timeline, checked with them 3 times in 10 days, was told each time it wasnt ready yet and theyd notify me, at the 10th day instead they cancelled my order and said Id waited too long to pick it up despite my order saying I had 30 days to begin with and me being in regular communication checking on my order status. The employee I spoke to regarding it could only seem to blame me.

Went to Home Depot to pick up a few items and was helped by Mike and Toot. Mike helped me first and then Toot helped me with the rest of my shopping. I explained what I was looking for and was “taken” to the items. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. Sarah checked me out the first time and she was very friendly and then Toot checked me out with the rest of my purchases. Shout out to Toot!

Home Depot in Owensboro, Ky. the employees are ready all over the store to help you find what you want! 99% of the employees act like your the only one in the store & will gladly show you were anything is! Pro Commercial Sales are also very personable & always willing to go get what you want & if you call ahead of time will have it waiting for you at the door! Everything at Home Depot is geared for customer convenience on what your looking for! Friendly environment! They have ice cream, water & cokes they give to the customers on SOME occasions!

I never give negative reviews but in this case I feel I need to. We rented an insulation blower about a year or so ago, returned it the next morning. Apparently their system did not close out our contract, we recd a collections letter 2 months later, with no prior calls, etc. I spoke with Mark Martin, a manager at our Owensboro Home Depot. He assured me it was a fake collection letter (their office puts it out) so my credit wasnt affected, and hed take care of it, as their system just had not closed out the contract upon return. I requested a letter stating it was their error, just in case, as we had just put an offer on another house. He said hed send me one. He also said this on two other occasions when I called him every couple months, last time was 4/28/18. No letter recd x 3. Yesterday my husband got a call from someone wondering if he was the person by that name that had rented the insulation blower a year ago, and had the mix-up about the return. They were returning our deposit, if we wanted to come get it, but on a home depot card, not by cash or check. My husband was not happy. Plus Mark Martin had not left any acct number, phone number, or address with the card, just my husbands name. There are at least 4 locally with the same name that I know of. So they had been calling all of them asking if it was them. Incompetence at the highest degree. So since we couldnt take our returned deposit anywhere else, we spent it at home depot and left. We will not shop there again. Oh, and home depot said there were several other people they did this to.....and they now have scrubbed that rental computer program. Which is something, I guess. They probably should also educate management regarding customer service and how to return a clients money in the form they gave it.

Helpful & friendly, unlike the brush-off I got at Lowes.
