Good customer service. Price is about the same as walmart/price chopper except for the meat! The meat is significantly less expensive.

Great prices! This place reminded me alot of Aldis (prices, setup, the kinds of things you find, and using a quarter for the cart) the prices are great and they have a very good selection. I also think this store has a wide variety of hispanic food items. More than you would find at your local Walmart, price chopper, or HyVee. Very nice store!

DO NOT HAVE YOUR AMAZON PACKAGES SHIPPED TO THIS LOCATION. The driver mistakenly delivered to the front desk instead of the locker. I called and asked about my packages, and they told me that had them but refused to give them to me even if I showed my government I.D. I had an Amazon representative call the store and they still refused to give my packages to me. Poor customer service on their part.

Not a lot of options, but some of what is there is definitely cheaper, making it worth the trip for me.

Even though some prices are a bit high, they do have a lot of sales from the website & as opposed to going all the way to Walmart I can stop by here & get some things I really like & a few better prices than even WalMart.The staff is grade A excellent.

The store is very clean. They have a lot of off brand items as well as name brands items. The prices are very good. They have a wide selection of products.

I have been shopping there since I moved over here 5 years ago. For me its a great pit stop for groceries if you dont feel like going to wal mart, price chopper and hy vee especially if you live close by. Only problem I run into is there are still cashier Im for cashiers and the other half of me are over cashiers because they take to long to ring you up when you can do it yourself alot faster but thats the only negative is there are no self check out lanes but everything is Im good with. I will admit they have these chips there that are really good and save a lot is the only place I can find them. Cheap and reasonable prices

First time shopping here walked up and noticed the carts were locked together with a change slot on it. I asked the two girls gossiping at a register if I had to pay to use a cart. The girl looked at me and said.um a quarter?! I said okay well I dont keep change and turned around and walked out. Her attitude mixed with my desire to not carry all of my groceries in my arms sent me elsewhere.

I like that they are hardly ever packed, staff is friendly especially the one manager, prices are cool except for some of the meats... I mean it IS supposed to be Save-A-Lot rite?..Dont like the fact that you have to bag up your groceries though (like Aldi) so maybe they should hire ppl looking for work to do so...sometimes they dont have much of a selection but it is conveniently located, and a great place to shop if your on a budget...

This Save a Lot is the best of Save A Lot stores in Kansas City! Very Clean, easy to find products. Prices are high although. Employees. Are nice and friendly

The majority of the staff is helpful and nice. The selection is limited but we know this before going in. Id rather go to the aldis on 95th street. There is 1 cashier that just runs me the wrong way, Bobbi... they have a fishnet face mask, that they continously wear below their nose... its already fishnet... really? Its a pandemic. But just to review the location, its not a lot of product, but the prices are unbeatable.

This place is good to get stuff cheap. Unfortunately there is never enough staff working. I don’t know why they even bother having four checkout lines. The company needs to probably pay better attention to how it treats employees as well... its normal for the staff to look fairly miserable.

I have been here 4× now, today was the 1st day it was a all around GREAT SHOPPING EXPERIENCE. 1. the bathroom was so clean and fresh 2. Sales were awesome and 3. the cashier was so pleasant & organized our food in the basket, she greeted us & said thanks for shopping. Its been bad experiences due to the cashier we seem to always get before. So thank you for today and see you soon.

Absolutely wonderful store for your staples. Small produce section, but what they have is fantastic. Same goes for their meat. .89 for a loaf of bread and 1.79 for a gallon of milk. It is similar to Aldi, but I prefer it in some ways.

Almost everything you want from your grocery store in a pretty small place. Really great sales on goods that are about to expire. Rent your cart for a quarter, get it back when you return it. Bring your own sacks/bags or buy really nice Big sturdy plastic ones for 11 cents. Friendly staff.

Love the Save-A-Lot chain. Recently went to the store on West 87th. Its a very nice store that I will frequent. They always seem to have some great meat prices. I love that they have a love of name brand groceries at discount prices. I ended up buying several things while I only stopped in for a couple.

Good name-brand choices at great prices. I typically hate grocery shopping but love coming here because of great cost savings and smaller store and never crowded. The store brand items taste just as good as the name brand but usually half the cost. Can usually fill a grocery cart under $100. No baggers; kind of like Aldis but better selection.

Love the store. Awesome service and great selection. To be honest, several bigger grocery chains in the area should take a look at how clean and well maintained this Save A Lot is.

Nice place to shop. Could have more checkers on duty but other than that they have a huge selection of brand name products for good prices.

Pretty good but a lot of the raspberries, blackberries... Well any berry... Had mold on them and were all squished. So if you must get fruit, dont go there for it.

A good addition to the neighborhood. Smaller store thats easy to get in and out of when you need a few things on the way home. Prices and set-up comparable to Aldi. This location has also always been clean and well-stocked since it opened. It has a lot of Mexican staples, spices, and produce as well.

I wish they had more variety. Often they run out of stuff. Its a hit or miss with them. I go there because theyre usually cheap but often cant find what I need.

Some prices are better then others but be careful though because some prices are higher. HOWEVER, you can find some amazing deals. But being your own bags/boxes, they charge for those, not expensive but they want to bring your own.

Love this place. When we are liking to stock our freezer with meat we watch the Save A Lot ads, saves us about 40 percent on our meat budget.

This store is fairly new. the products are very good at a reasonable price. The staff is very friendly and helpful. i have started to most of my grocery shopping there.

Wow. What a store. The store looks great, and I have never seen a Save A Lot store before with so many items to choose from. This is a well stocked store with a great variety. Shop there if you are in the area. Its well worth the trip.

Save-A-Lot uses basically the same operational model as Aldi. This location caters to a Latino base but it is not an ethnic store. Prices are great, meat selection is good. Produce is a bit less than nearby markets.

A great little grocery store for the area. There are a few things that are cheaper than any other grocery store including Aldi. I dont go here for everything but there are some staples I go out of my way to get here.

I really like the Save-A-Lot because they have everything that I need its right by my house and Im like Price chopper they gave you more for less and Price chopper actually gives you less for your is more expensive so I recommend going to Price chopper cuz I give you more or less they have all that I need and its really tasty the food they have yogurt they have Mexican stuff they have laundry detergent baby food all of this good stuff and it has my favorite thing is like pizza rolls pancakes waffles burritos and vegetables and I hate vegetables but you know what I mean I recommend going here

A lot like Aldi, but more named brand stuff and wider aisles. They have better meat, but produce can be sketchy. Flour is cheaper but bread is more expensive. Which one I go to depends on what I need.

We were able to purchase quite a bit of groceries for a very fair price. We will definitely be doing more shopping here.

I was pretty happy with this place until today. I LOVE their selection on meats, the Chiquita bananas and the flavor of the almond milk and that the prices are good.Today as I was checking out on line I kept noticing the cashier an older lady havent seen in the store before, Sherry with short gray aging hair kept placing her hand on top of the produce as she was weighing the items. I asked her politely to reweight a few of the items and she hesitated and called the manager over. I explained as she was weighing the produces she kept her hand on top of them. The manager a thin black lady with her hair pulled up in a pony tail whom I didnt catch her name and did NOT address the situation, but proceeded to take off items in my cart. I didnt walk into Save A Lot today to get anything for free and Im 100% Willing to pay for everything in my cart. All I ask is for the weights to be properly weighted. I have never seen this before not at Wal-Mart not At Price chopper or Aldis andIm giving her the benefit of the doubt and blaming that she might be new and was distracted by the conversation she was having on her head set. If I ever see this again I will no longer be shopping here and will keep aware of this situation.
