Several issues with this store.Every time I go in I have to ask myself if there is air conditioning. Way too hot inside.Shayna at the front end is always rude and condescending to customers and workers alike. Come to think of it, I have never seen any of the people who are in charge doing any work. It seems like the new hires do most of the work while the older workers boss them around.The store is also dirty and gross. Dont even get me started on the restrooms. One time I walked in to find something smeared all over a toilet seat.The store seems very mismanaged overall and hopefully something is done about it. Finally writing a review after several bad experiences. Will not be shopping here again.

I love Target but the only thing taking away a star is they never have any registers open, which leads to a long checkout line.

Shout out to Steven!! the young man working the checkout lane I was in(95th and quivera store by oak park mall in Overland Park Kansas on 10/12/2021 around 6:30 pm, for outstanding customer service and going above and beyond normal cashiers in a retail/grocery store. He even put our bags in the cart in all timely fashion I had no clue he was new until an immature, (I’m guessing manager..?) was right behind my kids snd I in line waiting to purchase her items.. so off the clock I would believe. She blurted out interrupting Steven and I discussing my questions on the price for my order (which he successfully answered all of them and left me with zero issues) by her saying LOUDLY “STEVEN SHE HAS A CASE OF APPLE JUICE ON THE BOTTOM OF HER CART, YOU CANT BE FORGETTING THOSE THINGS, THATS WHAT THE MIRRORS ARE HERE FOR STEVEN . YOU SEE HERE STEVEN THE MIRRORS (pointing at them ) he looked almost embarrassed or confused /belittled..as did I . He just looked at her not sure what exactly happened and as for managements need to chime in who again was off the clock anyhow…I decided to fill her in “ We took care of that already, he scanned it a long time ago I said . How she had not known is questionable as she had been standing behind us thst whole time … but no apology made on her behalf and I felt embarrassed as customers were staring like she was actually accusing me of possible shoplifting in front of my kids too .. she was a short, heavy set, middle aged, Asian women, manager I think at least a manager . I did not see a name tag ;ask Steven please, who gets 20 stars from me !!and her who gets a complaint with zero stars for terrible customer service and terrible team building skills as his whole demeanor suffered from her outburst. He was lively, confident, energetic and spot on with skills until she made him turn opposite. When he was well deserving of a good job to say the least … instead of her ignorant remarks due for the peanut gallery next time please . . Target please acknowledge Steven for excellence in every way possible and reprimand her or denote her to lower position

Target is my only department store that I shop. I dont shop at Walmart. I dont shop at Kohls or Penny. Targets are clean, well organized and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I appreciate the easy website that assisted me today. I wanted to find a particular string of patio lights that the Target nearest me didnt have. The locating of them, the ordering and pick up was flawless. Another task completed before the holiday weekend, with a major assist from Target!

Great customer service; Easiest return Ive ever done!

Unfortunately this target is the closest to my house because they never have their act together as a team. Lines are usually long enough to be pretty inconvenient and the employees seem to always be in groups talking or in another world on their phone except for the one or two actually working. Super difficult to ask questions or find things compared to other targets.

This store has the FRIENDLIEST people who work there! Ive noticed this on my last dozen visits. All the employees up front are exceptionally courteous, and very watchful when the lines start to get long and take quick action to mitigate the wait. Im greeted when I walk in and am thanked when I walk out. This store really stands out amongst the Targets I frequent!

I visit this Target once, sometimes twice a week (SAHM problems) with my 8 month son in his carseat. I always have a pleasant visit and am greeted by Wally. He always says, Hi and Bye, Thank You while waving to everyone that crosses his path.I usually walk in, awkwardly grab a cart with my free hand and push it off to the side (so Im not in the way of other guests) while I load my son and huge purse/diaper bag into the cart.Today, Wally saw me coming in and he pulled out a cart, pushed back the front basket and held the cart in place while I heaved the carseat into the cart.THANK YOU WALLY!! It might of seemed so small, but your extra kindness is so appreciated and I SEE YOU!

Convenient, clean and lots of item variety.

This is a well stocked, brightly lit, clean store. The employees are all friendly and very helpful!

This location is super convenient to where I live, and for the most part I always enjoy shopping here. The staff is extremely friendly, and they always seem to be available. If I ever need help, someone is always near by with a smile and assistance! They seem to be handling the COVID situation fairly well, I constantly see team members wiping down the self checkout registers as well as the conveyor belts at the traditional checkout lanes. The only reason I can’t give this location 5 stars is because of the selection. With it not being a Super Target, they already have a smaller selection by default. This is exacerbated when products they do carry are not in stock, or are mislabeled, incorrectly priced, or not in the location the app says they are. These are issues I have run into here, which do hinder my shopping experience, even though the staff is generally very quick to help out or correct an issue.

The staff was friendly the price I paid for was good I know if they would put Lois and Clark season 2 back on the shelf again

Went early Saturday morning. Everything was fine; everyone wearing masks. Not many customers; employees were stocking shelves.The woman supervising the self-checkout stands started to cough. Obviously you want to avoid facing the direction of the person coughing, but it kept going, and I swung around to look who it was coming from. She stepped back from the customers she was nearest, walked behind me to the other side of self-checkout machines, then coughed some more and supervised. I was exposed, the original customers she was near were exposed, another woman walked past just after she coughed. There were a couple teen employees around.Regardless of whether youre wearing a mask, it is not OK to cough anywhere near people right now (it actually never was OK). Its not an excuse me, I dont know where that came from situation. (She said something like this.) Its a get far, far away from people immediately situation. Its a go home situation if you cant stop.People who get coronavirus dont know they have it until its too late. Theyve already been spreading it for days. Masks help, but they can only do so much.More than anything, everyone needs to be smart enough to know not to cough around people – Without being told. But if some employees arent smart enough, management should explain it to them.I respect everyone for working full shifts in masks, in mostly thankless, high-risk jobs. I dont mean to demonize any one person for making a mistake, but mistakes can have extremely far-reaching consequences right now.I wish employees could forcibly eject customers who do this same thing.

I came in to return an item and didnt notice that i only had 14 days to return it and the young man told me there was nothing he could do and so did another young lady so they called someone hire up and she did my return i cant remember her name but i am so thankful for her she really helped me out. i love shopping at your store and will continue to thank you

Not a Super Target, and seems to carry fewer items than other Target stores. Basics like butter fabric softener in particular I was bummed to find a minimal selection.

Fun and trendy clothing, home decorations, toys, and books. Bullseye Playground is my favorite place to find small seasonal decor, rewards for my kids, and stocking stuffers.

Recently relocated to this state from the Buckhead, Ga location. They will have to liven up in this place. Just DEAD! No spirit at all, not one welcome at the door or register nor did they exit greet you when you left. Shame on you what horrible Target GUESS Service!

I enjoy shopping at this Target. It is always clean and seems to have things that other Target stores dont. I also like that it is a smaller Target thus making it easier to get in and out of. I have been shopping here ever since it opened. Good customer service as well.

Pretty solid store but dissapointed at the selection of items available. If youre looking to get your bare necessities met without needing to travel further if you live nearby it is convenient.

I was just in the self check out cute and I overheard a customer belittling and scolding one of the workers I believe it was a new worker and young man. This customer was cursing out the new worker, I just wanted to write this post so you would know not to reprimand the worker at the counter. The customer was completely out of line so please do not take it out on the worker

The stores are always clean, the associates are always friendly and prices are very reasonable.

This is the only store I have been to that has nothing in stock. It was a waste of time to go here. The app says they have a lot of things in stock but when you get here there is nothing. Never returning to this awful location.

Called ahead asking if they could hold an item for me. Was told theyd hold it in the back. 2 hours later when we arrived to pick it up, it wasnt there. Customer Service insisted we had called the wrong store. I showed the call logs to prove it was their number. They told us to Go look where it might be and refused to help us further. We ask if they can check the stock on their app (we had been to 3 stores in a row looking for this item and each had checked inventory for us) and they said Well if its not on the floor its not here despite what we were told on the phone. They tell us to ask Electronics to check. The item we wanted was not an electronic, but we complied. There was no employees in the electronics section to ask, and we werent the only people waiting to be helped. Finally, we call the store while in electronics. Suddenly they have all the answers; where the product went, how much stock they had, etc. Apparently an employee did not hold the product as promised, but instead put it out on the sales floor so we could pick it up whenever we wanted. It had been purchased by someone else.Did I mention Im in a wheelchair?Terrible customer service, very rude and unhelpful. Would not visit this Target again.

I have never had a bad experience at this Target relating to the store and staff. Once I asked for a discount on a damaged product and the customer in line behind me decided to accuse me of breaking it myself. The cashier honored a discount and kept things moving without letting the customer escalate.

Watch your receipts and how things ring up, I don’t know why I keep shopping at this location, things are constantly mismarked as on sale, and the managers won’t honor, don’t care... just say sorry I’ll talk to my employees, or some other excuse.

I actually just recommended target drive thru to two friends right before this survey came out.

So NiCE to find what you want, order it and then go pick it up at my convenience. SO easy

I absolutely love this Target. I was shocked to have found it this past winter because it’s kind of hidden behind Academy Sports. It’s smaller than a super Target which makes it easier to find what I need & get out.

The staff is all over. Hit the help buttons by the phones near the departments or just pick an aisle. Target policy demands their employees great you if your within 10 feet of them. This Target has pretty much everything you need... Avoid some store brand raviolis though, yuck.

Good clean store, but you have to watch out when checking out. On several occasions the price when scanned at checkout was different than the price displayed. They are quick to make the adjustment and give you the correct price but you have to watch out so you dont get stuck paying more than you should. Definitely recommend the Target App as you can do your price checking and get coupons.

Rude employee at self checkout. Nothing in stock. No check lanes open. Made 20 of us stand in line in self checkout instead of just opening a register.

I came to purchase Pibb Zero but was told by the Coke replenishment person that Target was no longer carrying Pibb Zero. Wow. Extremely unhappy. Was also told all Targets in my area no longer carry Pibb Zero.

Honestly I wouldnt even give it one star but they dont have that option. I am highly irritated and upset and will no longer go to this Target. Today I know of a person who was trying to find a job and came across some job openings here, it took her 30 minutes plus to fill out the application and within 24 hours she got a call back and was asked to be interviewed the next week. So she went in and they didnt even know she was supposed to be interviewed. They made her wait 20 minutes after the time she was supposed to be there, and they finally called her in for the interview. She interviewed with 3 different people, and went through 2 full interviews which took about an hour and a half to complete and then got to the final interview in which they said that she could not be hired because of her availability. After asking if she could call back in if her availability changed, they denied and said no. The whole interview took about two and a half hours plus. They could have just told her about the availability problems in the beginning instead of making her sit through two and a half hours for nothing. Her availability was on the application in the beginning so they knew up front what her availability was before they called her for an interview. They wasted her whole afternoon and all for nothing. Very disappointed and will no longer shop at Target.

The drive up is the best target has, i didn’t has to go into the store to get the product I bought. I didn’t have to wait long for the staff to bring it to me.

Large store that has almost everything i need and much cheaper than other places when they are running discounts, just dont go there on black Friday because it will destroy the experience for you since the staff is not totally sure where things are which lead to a bit of a mess and frustration. otherwise i would love to shop there on any other normal day

They should know their product more. I realize they are a grocery store and not micro center or anything but I bought some walkie talkies and I knew more about their product than they did. I bet all Targets are like that. But its a great place to shop for groceries. It is what it is.

Big store, but I really dont understand why they laid out the grocery section the way they did. It takes forever to find specific grocery or household items, the baby/toddler clothes section is always a mess and too narrow to push a cart through. There are parts of this store that are always busy and parts that does not seem to get much traffic. I wish they would reduce their inventory in the not so popular sections to make enough room to be able to push a cart through the clothing sections.

Good location. Good variety. Sometimes a little expensive but overall decent prices.

Quick efficient service. The have 4 self checkout lanes, so the checkout process is fast and efficient as well. I was in and out with eveything I needed in about 20 minutes.

I shop often at this Target and its my favorite. I prefer it over the one on Blue Valley Parkway, simply for its ease. I can get in and out without feeling like Im walking a football field. Cashiers are friendly, theres always someone to help in the aisles and it helps this tired mama of four that theres a Starbucks inside.

I needed an item ASAP and this store is close to work. I appreciated that the staff worked really hard at keeping the self-check stations sanitized.

I wouldn’t recommend this store. I placed and order online for pick-up at the Overland Park store which apparently isn’t this store. When I arrived the guy at the register told me I should have know that and then walked away to deal with another customer. I called target to hopefully resolve the issue and they told me they couldn’t do anything. Very terrible customer experience.

Items are posted with a sale price but when you take them to the cashier, they ring up at the normal price. You have to tell the cashier that it is on sale and theyll change the price for you.Whats the point of having a sale price if the register doesnt ring them up as such?Atleast the customer service is good, so 3 stars

Its not uncommon to find expired product on the shelves. Half of the employees are really nice, the other half not so much.

Overfilled trash cans, u organized shelves and impossible to find help when needed. This is the result of labor cutting and high ranking corporate members blaming the stores for failure.Customer service means running the entire store with minimal labor and take the blame when things go wrong. I dare all corporate executives to work at a single location for a month hitting all numbers with zero guest concern. Stop sacrificing guest service just because of numbers game and stop fingers pointing when things not going as expected.

I bought a jacket that ended up being too small, so I checked online to see if a Medium was in stock at this Target and there was one left. So I called to put it on hold, as I have before, but the woman in Guest Relations refused to look for it. She said when only one is shown in stock, there is no point in looking because it wont be there. And then she hung up on me! I called back to speak with a manager who apologized.Next I called the Overland Park South location and the woman on the phone was incredibly kind and tracked down the (one) jacket they had in my size. Go to the South location instead of this one! Customer service matters more here.

Target in general is a great place to shop. This store is well kept and a very nice place to shop. Very close to the mall.

I called this store and asked for a toy and if they had it in stock. Was told yes and had many I’m stock. Show up and they have not had any in stock in a couple of days and the manager did not remember telling us that they had them in stock.

Best target to run in and out of. Even at holidays, helpful clerks, clean. Love this target!!

I just love Target, but I went in for Beer and they didnt have any. Im from out of town, Im not sure if its a City or State ordinance but I wasnt happy about that. I was able to get the other items I needed.

This particular location doesnt carry the things (groceries, specifically) I go to Target for, so I end up having to head to one of the other locations after leaving here empty handed. It is nice that they have a Starbucks, though.

This isnt a super target and they dont carry a lot of stuff I need but they have great prices and they are convenient because they are right across from Oak Park Mall. What I cant get here I can get at the Walmart on frontage road just as cheap if not cheaper.

It is so close to where I live... when I need something quickly, I run over there. They always have what we go for!

One staff member at customer service was nice but new so couldnt help me much. The older woman who was supposed to be assisting her and I seemed like it was the biggest bother in the world to try to find an item for me. Highly doubtful I will return to this Target especially considering there are nicer ones closer to me.
