I went in after not being in a beauty store since COVID started because there was no need for new makeup. :)Sara Adams helped me and she was so kind and helpful. She asked me questions about the products I was looking for and helped me find the right products for my skin/needs.

I’ve worked mainly in retail and know how it looks when managers tell you to follow someone around the store because they think they’re stealing. At first me and my sister didn’t think anything was strange until it was when we would switch aisles and a girl would speed walk just to stay in the same aisle as us glancing at us pretending like she was doing something when it was clear she wasn’t. It was so weird being in the store because on the one half you would have workers glancing at us not saying anything but looking down at our hands to see what we had and other workers just completely avoid our existence. I’m not going to throw any reason as to why I think they might’ve done this but to my sister and I, it felt clear. The only reason I’m giving the store two stars instead of one was because when we went to pay for the things we had, with the money we have a lot of, the cashier lady was sweet.

Staff is so helpful! They always work with me to find the best concealer and eyeshadow palettes. Thanks ladies!

Great store lots of varieties on make!! My wife shops there alot!!some make up on the high side but now a days make up is expensive!! But over all great staff and friendly people!

I do want to say first that I’ve been here before to get my hair cut, and they usually do a great job. Unfortunately my hair turned out way shorter than expected. I currently have a long bob that barely touches my shoulder. I wanted my hair past the shoulder, I even showed her pictures :,( I don’t want call the stylist out because that was my fault I guess for not noticing how much she took off. Still a nice cut though. My take away is to always be mindful of how short they cut your hair! Don’t think I’ll be coming back here to get my hair done.

Ever since Bobby left, the store has been horrible. The new staff in 2021 are rude and not willing to help. Definitely disappointed and never shopping here again. Lazy employees and rude service

My mom and I always go to ulta, but we usually go to the Naperville store. The Naperville store is always helpful and nice. When we went to the Oswego store the cashier scratched off our PIN number on the gift card and made it unrecognizable because he used scissors. Then the other cashier was nasty to my family because we were upset they told us we couldn’t use the gift card even though they destroyed it. It took us over 15 minutes to get checked out. For now on we will go to the Naperville store.

Beautiful set up, always happy with the products I get there. And everyone that has helped were wonderful. Just wish that people would learn to be gentle with the testers.

I live for it great brands as far as some higher end brands and cheaper affordable brands. Everyone is always up for helping you through shopping! Love the workers there!

Ive been coming to Ulta for a few months. I randomly selected Marissa as my stylist from their online appointment process. I have had fantastic results. Im extremely picky with my cuts and shes always understanding and makes sure I leave feeling like a goddess.Marissa is also knowledgeable about many of the products Ulta sells and often knows what I need before I do.I havent had much interaction with the rest of the staff but during checkout theyre always fantastic.I come from a customer service background and I can say they have a great staff here.

Very nice store. Lots of variety and a nice selection of items. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Prices range from moderate to expensive. Nice clearance selection as well. The store was very clean, nothing out place everything was organized and in place.

Obsessed with this place!!! I literally cannot go inside unless I am expecting to spend a good amount of money! They carry so many fantastic brands with a great selection! For the most part the staff is helpful and knowledgeable. The rewards program is also really good if you buy a decent amount of makeup. Thumbs up! 👍

Ashley Watkins is amazing! I’ve been going to her for color for years and she’s the only person I trust with my hair. Honestly it is worth the price to come get my hair done by her. She is an expert at balayage and fine highlights, color, and styling! I found her after reaching out on a whim to get an updo as a wedding guest and she did such incredible work I have been with her ever since. Highly recommend booking with her!!! She knows what she’s doing and I always love my hair when she’s done with it!! Everyone who works here is always pretty nice as well. They all work as a team and it’s fun to watch the stylists interact with each other and clients. Feels like a little family. 5 stars!

Ive been going to Ulta for years.This was the first time that their service was terrible. when I first walked in no one acknowledge me or even asked if I needed a basket. I then walked around with 12 items in my hand looking for certain products only to be ignored by all the sales people. I had to ask the Clinique make-up girl (who by the way was with a customer) for a certain blending brush. When it was time for me to check out. Meagan the cashier didnt ask any question ( anyone in customer service would know what questions to ask) or even bother to tell me about my points. She was to concern about getting back to her friends!!! This will be the last time I go to this Ulta!!

This store is usually busy almost daily but Saturdays are very busy. Fortunately a lot of help is available to ask where particular items are located to speed the process of checking out & being on your way.

The place was amazing. The lady that cut my hair was very nice. She even recommend a shampoo for me. She was so nice that I left her a tip.

I just wanted to say a HUGE Thank you to Dee for helping me!! I had been traveling for the last 3 weeks and my face was EXTREMELY dry and red which was very unusual for me! I chose Ulta rather than a Dr visit out of state and the help I got from Dee was all I needed! My skin was so much better even before I left the store an hour later! She took great care at helping me and getting me the products I needed to help me on the road to healing! I wish I had photos of the improvement but I dont.... Thank you so very much Dee and Ulta! Every time I purchase from this location (which is frequently), I ask if I have points to redeem. They ALWAYS (mind you, I have been shopping with them for years) have told me I do NOT have any. I log into my account online, recently and see I have 8 redeemable rewards. After seeing that, I came into this location for holiday shopping. I, again, asked about my points. They told me I did not have any at first.....I pulled out my phone, showed them, and suddenly they found my redeemable points. I said never mind to my purchase, left, and went to the Naperville location where they told me I had points to redeem before I even had to ask!! My daughter also got her make up done here recently for homecoming and my 5 year old niece could have done a better job. Never going to this location again!!!

I love Ulta! Normally I just order stuff from their website but going to the actual store is always more fun lol there are tons of different beauty brands & products. The employees were very attentive, pleasant & helpful. I will definitely return. & will definitely recommend to friends.

I came to the Oswego IL Ulta location on 4-18-18 for some staple products. A very kind woman in the makeup section helped me several times to match colors for foundation and under eye concealer. She used store brushes to apply and match colors. She gave me PINK EYE! Appreciated her help, but the application brushes clearly were not cleaned properly. I will bring my own brushes next time I need to match colors.

Not the best Ulta and not the worst. The staff, although abundant, doesnt assist as well as other stores. The check it process is rushed and single tiny bags are wall overstuffed.

I had a horrible experience and was accused and threaten by Nicole. I will never ever go back to this location because of rude and insensitive folks that work here. I contacted corporate and waiting to see how they respond.

They didn’t have what I was looking for but she explained it was old so I guess that makes sense cause I did find similar products in the clearance section. I don’t really wear makeup 💄 so if I do return I will go back to the clearance section cause most stuff I buy just sits in my room for a year unused. Haha but I did find what I at least think to be good guys haha and the cashier Lacy was very nice in helping me. I explained my nose gets oily so I wanted to make sure the stuff I bought would work for me as I know nothing about make up. 🤷🏼‍♀️👍💄the place was really nice almost like I’ve Enter red a heaven or something. And they even do hair there, I did not know. And they were all cheaper than what the tag said so that was great yay 🤓🥰🥰

Not impressed. Went on my lunch break, spent 20 minutes on the store searching for 2 items I cant find at Target anymore, not once did someone ask if i needed help, but then you would see the workers all talking and chit chatting with each other. Then when checking out, there was 2 cashiers. When then it being my turn and the next available cashier finished up with her guest, she was to concerned about waiving hello and getting the customer in front of me attention instead of focusing on me and telling me to step up so she can check me out. So I basically stood there waiting for her to get this other guests attention to say hello, because she said she recognized her because shes a regular and then she finally called me over.Ridiculous is all I can say.

Would rate higher. But every location carries different items!!! Very frustrating when you need to leave your own town. To travel to another location. That actually stocks what you need!!! Joliet Illinois location. Has a extremely pathetic selection of mens care products!!! Store is to small!!!

Love to buy my MAC products in the Oswego ULTA store because Emily isn’t only the friendliest person there but she definitely care for the customers. Professional + customer service is the best!

So many options to choose from. A lot of the things there are unacceptable price but I did get a small face wash kit and it really works! Also got a new foundation but was PRICEY.

They were so nice and accommodating here! My friend bought me perfume at an Ulta in Chicago and I accidentally dropped it. It was expensive and I was so hurt. I called this location after calling 2 other ones closer to my home who refused to help me. I spoke with a manager, went in, showed them my broken bottle and my receipt, told them my story..again and they replaced my perfume with no problem! I even got money back because taxes are higher in Chicago! Ill probably never forget that.

I went there a few months ago I asked if they knew how to do make up the lady said yes. And she then set me up with one of the makeup artist. I came in to the appointment when I saw the makeup artist her makeup looked messed up, I asked again if she knew how to do makeup she said she was a professional airbrush makeup artist. I allowed her to do my makeup and she really didnt know how to contour my face, or how to do my eyeshadow and to top it off she couldnt even put on the fake eyelashes I had to put them on myself. I ended paying 45 dollars just to look like a hooker.
