Fantastic tacos. Good prices. I had the lunch special which was $9.50, came with 4 tacos (I had 2 chicken u0026 2 carnitas). Both had great flavor. Looking forward to going back for lunch.

We go here all the time. Have yet to go to a taqueria that does them better. Their tacos are always filled to the brim with meat, and always taste super fresh. My favorite is the Al Pastor tacos, but I also love the Carne Asada, and the Carne Asada torta.I could take a star away because they don’t seem to serve their tamarindo aqua fresca anymore for some reason but I won’t!

The tacos are simply delicious and they are always made to order. I appreciate the extra time and effort they make to ensure each individual taco is wrapped tightly and everything is packaged well. Its easily transportable and stays warm longer.

Let me start by saying when this place first open all I could say was 5 stars. But as time pass so did the quality and the prices on the board outside. We would travel from St cloud to Orlando just for the food. Now we havent been there for a while I would say especially during covid. So today we went there and found that the prices had dramatically gone up. Nine chicken tacos cost $28 cheese is extra and tomatoes are extra. The quality of the food was horrible the chicken was so dry it was uneatable. You paid more and get less. This place was once a great place. Now its like any place else charge more get less. The quality of food is taking a nose dive. I really miss the old place. If I could give no stars I would do that.

If you want some great tacos. This is the best place to stop. Outside seating to enjoy your food or you can take it home. As for me i like to eat them fresh off the grill.

Outstanding food and as close to authentic as you can have in Orlando. We sampled almost everything from Tacos to Huaraches. All have been fantastic. The wait at times is long but worth every minute. Unfortunately, the Mexican food experience is not complete without a good salsa and the small portions they give seems odd. They barely fill 1/4 of the cup. Definitely a head scratcher and a waste of cups.

Where are the 75℅ tacos? at least offer tacos for a dollar if you cant live up to your advertisements your guys are losing out business to places like taco bell and Del taco because you arent able to serve the community with a substantial deal... Make your tacos for a dollar and youll have more people lining up to eat and they might all actually tip better if their pockets are not being drained to save for a tip...

If I could give this 0 stars I would. The tacos were burned. The ones I ordered without onions and cilantro HAD onions and cilantro. When I talked to the woman at the pick up window she was extremely mad at me even though I was nice and educated about it. She made a mistake and was upset that she was told about it. They didn’t do anything to solve the issue and I just had to throw the food away and the money of course.There’s plenty of Mexican places to eat in that area. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! Stay away from this place

Amazing place for authentic tacos! They are $2 each and worth it! I usually get about 4 and I feel pretty satisfied. They also have horchata which is delicious and some deserts. They have a drive through and about 6 tables outside for dining. Make sure you’re not driving too fast if you’re heading there because you can easily miss it. Other than that I highly recommended.

A must try for authentic Mexican food. I am obsessed with their carnita tacos. No inside dinning but they do have outside sitting. Drive-thru available, but with some wait. Most definitely would recommend. Gave 4 out of 5 because I think they can be pricey.

I go here all the time. On Sunday my boyfriend went to grab us food he ordered chicken tacos for myself u0026 asada for him. When he finally got home and opened the bag they were all asada. I don’t eat red meat or pork and I’m also pregnant so I was really frustrated it was Sunday and by the time he got back and noticed they were closed. Mondays they’re also closed so I couldn’t call then. I call Tuesday and explain the situation told them I kept the receipt and I come here all the time. The owner said I’d need to bring the tacos physically there in order to get the 4 chicken tacos and he couldn’t do anything about it if not. Why would I have kept tacos that I can’t eat for 2 days? I thought explaining the situation and keeping the receipt would be enough but as I look through the reviews and how the business responds to their customers I’m not surprised with the service I received.

I know they don’t need my reviews but oh my god this place is amazing. I was never a fan of Mexican food until my Bolivia friend introduced this place for me. How can their tortas be this perfect? Soft bread, juicy fillings with delicuois meat! And the agua fresca...I had hibiscus and tamarind, sweet and sour, so perfect. I am gonna try everything here.

The food here is so good and I really love their Huarache de carne asada, they also have great tacos and burritos. However, their parking lot and drive through is a nightmare. They lose a star for that because its a nightmare if you go the wrong way or park in the wrong spot.

The Torta al Pastor was delicious. The taco al pastor was very good. The tamales were ok and the flautas were a bit dried up. After tasting Mexican food in California; it’s hard to find a good Mexican place in Orlando. However, this one will be ok once in a while. We will come back.

This use to be one of my favorite sandwich shops. During my recent visit something was off. I couldnt make out what was wrong. I knew the sandwich wasnt as good as Im use too. Im extremely clean and inspect my food properly before consuming. I reached in the bag to use one of the condiments, wow I found a long thick piece of curly hair wrapped around my sauces. I took pictures of it. I was so grossed out ! I hate hair of any sort in or around my food. I expect your employees to take all measures to follow food safety. That is even making sure all employees have hair all the way up, and or wrapped, and clean shaven while handling food. That long string of hair was much to close to my food. That ended my visit ! The employees are not on top of cleaniness; nor practicing food handling guidelines properly.

The food I can’t honestly give you an accurate description because everything was so spicy, I wanted to step out of my normal shell and try something different so I ordered each taco for me and a friend, I’m thankful that I asked for everything on the side because my mouth was burning . I have a decent tolerance for spice but all of these were a tad bit overwhelming, you take a bite and it tastes like it will be regular then BOOM, the spice Gets you. I ordered off of Postmates and I was missing one chicken taco . That was honestly the only one that was not spicy ..and the tostada was amazing . I would eat that all day . Overall I probably wouldn’t go back .. I’ve tasted better. They also added an up charge of 1.60 because I asked for a side of Crema or sour cream .

If you want some AUTHENTIC tacos and burritos come here. FYI the tacos come very plain. They come with meat with options of adding cilantro, hot sauce and raw onions. I guess the person who worked there that night LOVES onions because it was too many on there. I ended up taking them off. The pork and chicken were seasoned very well. I had a bite of my boyfriends burrito and it was tasty as well. I would come here again and try something else.

Was looking for authentic Mexican tacos, saw the high ratings and gave it a try... Was very disappointed.Tacos were miniature, and the flavor was ok, the salsas were barely filled, and the waiting was bad, waited almost 10 minutes for 1 taco de cabeza, the agua de horchata and agua de Jamaica was delicious. They had musica de banda playing, and that was good since I cant find any radio station with Mexican music lol. Im here in a trip from Chicago.

Probably wouldve had a better experience with the food as I ordered on Doordash. I got the hawaiiana torta and the bread was soaked through and soggy. Definitely did not like the texture of that especially at the bottom, but other than that it tasted pretty good.

Carne Asada was good but should have come with tortillas that let your separate them vs. sticking together. Sopes were on HUGE corn patties. Never seen such a thing. Corn patty, while homemade, was too sweet and thick for my tastes in roadside Mexican Cuisine. My wife and I visit Orlando about once a month (2 hour drive from where we live) and this location is one of those spots that we always have to visit when we are in the area. Don’t let the size of the tacos fool you. We order 6 tacos, 1 torta, and a large agua de horchata for a total of about $21 which is what we usually pay for at a typical fast food restaurant. The thing here is that the food is not only good, but it fills you up. The asada is by far the best we have tasted in Florida. The torta de asada....5 stars. The horchata... has the fresh home made taste that my wife loves and if you eat at many Mexican restaurants you will know that many of those make their horchata out of a powdered packet. Not this place. I wish they would build one of these further south east.

Always a little line at the drive through, takes a little time, but price are very fair, clean kitchen and staff follow cdc covid-19 guidelines, I feel safe and food is good. Must try.

Tortas El Rey is a hidden gem man. Passing by it you might not think much of the place, but everything is so damn good.The tacos are thin corn tortillas PACKED with meat and topped with onions and cilantro...just how they should be. Always delicious.Taco Salads...I dont even think they advertise this on the menu but they have big taco shells and they dump lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, beans, and your choice of meat topped with a little bit of sour cream. We ask them to add a little bit of rice to it. Its outrageous. Sometimes the shell could be under or over cooked, but typically its soooo good.Its mainly a drive thru place, and the place is ALWAYS PACKED. Expect long wait times, but its definitely worth it. The staff have been trying different ways to make the line go faster and I appreciate that!

Let me just get this out of the way....THE FOOD HERE IS AWESOME!!! Now with that being said... everytime we come here they always hand us these little cups which are a quarter of the way filled which is crazy....just give us one full salsa cup per entree... you would probably save money on the cups. This is my only problem with this place.

I dont know why this place has such high ratings, they got my order wrong twice after telling them in Spanish and in English, they tried challenging me that I was wrong and not them, but after proof they went ahead and gave me the taco they charged me for, which is tiny for the 2.50 they charge. They have a sign that says Hard tacos 75cents but that was misleading. They also took 45 minutes to make a Huarache, I was there for an hour and 30 mins for service that shouldnt have taken more than 15. And the torta, sure its tasty but not nearly as good as other Mexican places considering they charge $8 for it. Go to the Jalisco market in winter park instead, the extra drive is worth it compared to this place, tenfold.

Great place for tacos, although they are small they are VERY tasty. The burrito was loaded with meat all the way to the end, unlike other places where you get a little meat then all beans and rice.

I just moved to central florida and was looking for a place to grab some good tacos. I decided to take a chance although it was 30 minutes away. I had been there a total of 2 times, the tacos are hit or miss but its decent for the price, however, the service is slow. be prepared to wait a while in line. on my 3rd trip to tortas i forgot my wallet at home but i had $100 bill in my car so i waited in line, handed the lady the money and she told me that my bill did not pass the test on the machine. As someone who had previously work retail i asked her to use the marker because i drove far to come here and she told me that they didnt have any markers. the least she could have done was verify that the machine was working correctly before returning my bill. i took that same money and went to buy food elsewhere, but i was mad that wasted all that time in line at tortas. needless to say i will not be returning, they do not have the smartest people working there.

Prices went up a third time so expect to pay more, I would understand if the service was faster. I waited 20 minutes in drive thru and an additional 18 minutes parked by the window. 38 minutes for 2 tacos and 1 tamales is despicable!! My tamales was pipping hot as if they came out the oven, no kidding like 200 plus degrees hot without warning. I burned my hand and dropped it in my car. I was going to call back but thats the last straw for me. YOU GUYS NEED BETTER MANAGEMENT TO MOVE DRIVE THRU OR FIGURE OUT AWAY TO MAKE THE CUSTOMERS EXPERIENCE EXCELLENT.I just warn those to have a full tank of gasoline beforehand.

Wish they had 0 stars.Me my coworkers buy lunch everyday from different places. We were crabbing tacos and we usually come here to eat cause their tacos are amazing. We never had an issue out of all the times we came here in the past.But today we order 1 quesadilla 1 gordita and 8 tacos. When we get to our job which 20 minutes away, we noticed that we were missing the 8 tacos and when we call, the lady assumed we stole them.Thank you for stealing our money making us late and be without lunch for the day 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 you just lost 3 more regular customers because according to them we are only stealing after paying. hope those 12 dollars go a long way for you.I never write reviews but this was a really bad a experience. Make a video of your order when you start checking it so that they think you’re stealing as well.Really aggravated because after bring the bag we still had to argue with them letting them they didn’t put them dmn food in the bag.Just an FYI, the other 400+ people that works with us the warehouse also knows about your scam.Don’t believe me, just look at the reviews and wait your turn to be scammed by this people.

The tacos at this place are always delicious. The meat is seasoned very well and is always juicy and fresh tasting. The Al Pastor reminds of me of tacos I ate in Mexico City. The only knock is the time. They have a drive through but this is definitely not fast food. If you are prepared for a sometimes 30 minute wait then youre in for a real treat.

Tried it for the first time tonight and it was great! Authentic and delicious tacos and for an amazing price. You can order ahead over phone. I did see a long line for the drive thru right before close. Regardless the workers were pleasant and friendly and did a great job. Since we didnt do drive-thru cant speak to how that goes but they did have someone out there taking orders to help speed up the process so theyre doing the best they can.

All I have to say is that I’m going to pray for whoever thinks this is real Mexican food. Born and raised in Mexico and knowing what tortas and tacos and all this other good stuff is supposed to taste like..sorry but this ain’t it. No wonder everything is so low priced. And I thought Taco Bell was as bad as it could get. Lord help them.

Horrible customer service, kid was giving attitude after purchasing almost $200 worth of food for a company luncheon. Also was overcharged didn’t give me the lunch special deal since I couldn’t hold all the drinks. Nothing the cashiers were saying made sense. Third time ordered from them for a big group luncheon and it will be the last, pricing and service was horrible. Only positive is they have good tacos for the area close to our workplace.

This is such an underrated place! I have stayed in Ciudad Juarez in Chihuahua México for 2 months. It is very similar to the traditional food made in Mexico. It is also not badly priced!
