My first experience with this company was of good quality and attention to detail as well as they were easy to communicate with.Unfortunately, for my daughters birthday party our cake had many discrepancies for the price. I ordered a Skye character Paw Patrol cake in pink with white fonts and pink details. When I picked up the cake I had to have them try to fix the giant number 3 as it was drooping. In appearance the cake looked extremely light, but it still seemed like it was pink. When I arrived home and took the cake out of the container it was peach. So the band around the cake is pink over the body of the cake in the color peach.The font on the cake was white on top of the white cartoon bone which completely washed the whole view of the birthday greeting away.I was also told that if I brought my topper they would gladly place it for me on arrival and they were so busy the day of pickup they didnt seem too happy with me requesting them to help. They mentioned we would have to change box sizes and gave me some icing to take my Skye topper home to try and set myself.When I contacted the company to bring these issues to their awareness they agreed the cake was not as promised, however, they wanted me to bring the cake back 45 minutes away from my home the morning the day of the party. The party was a total of 2 hours away from the location of the bakery and it was to begin at noon. This is extremely impossible to ask of people that were expecting a quality cake initially. I promise that I purchased a better designed cake off of Facebook Marketplace for $40 and it was a lot larger than this cake. Through email they said they couldnt refund us anything bc I shouldnt have accepted the cake but, they will throw me a gift certificate. I asked if they could at least refund 50% and NO ONE EVER SENT ME ANOTHER EMAIL RESPONSE REGARDING FURTHER HELP ON MY PROBLEM.Guess they are just too busy helping more important customers spending more money than us. Glad my daughters ruined birthday cake is less important because this company THINKS we dont OR WOULDNT ORDER a lot more larger, lucrative projects from them. Many people never refer others until they KNOW the people they are referring can be reliable.. This companies loss.

Usually any cake or cupcake would satisfy my sweet tooth but these were disappointing. Most of the cupcakes and even their icing was rather dry. They were neither moist or tasty. The black and gold one was a bit of an exception. Perhaps the chocolate based ones are made more dry than the vanilla based ones. A little pricey for rather small cupcakes.

I contacted Sweet by Holly while in Orlando with my family to show appreciation for my sister’s caretaker. I was greeted nicely by Helena, one of the managers. I asked for a specially made gluten-free cake. Because I was on a budget, she worked with me to keep my inspiration design, with just a few changes to color and other small details. The final product was beautiful. It was a bit sweeter than expected, but I’m sure this can be improved with just a small modification to the recipe. In the end, I would rate this place with 5 stars, as good customer service is what I look for. Thank you!

0/10 would not recommend this bakery. I have attached photos to show what we got. My friend was planning a birthday party for a family member and we of course needed a cake for the event. We heard about this bakery from a mutual friend and also from Cupcake Wars so we were absolutely intrigued and excited to get a cake from this Bakery. We came up with a simple design, drip and pearls. It wasnt something very complicated nor extravagant and we provided an example of what we wanted. Saturday was the day of the party and we drove 45 minutes to get here. You could imagine the disappointment we felt when we saw that this was the cake we paid $100 for. I never in my wildest dreams thought that this would be a cake that Sweet by Holly would provide to their clients or a cake that would be up to Miss Hollys standards. We got the cake, stepped outside to look at it, and went right back into the bakery. We were advised that the decorators had already left for the day and that they were trying to figure out how to fix it. They were also trying to reach their regional manager. We were already on a time crunch due to the party starting soon which we did let them know of. So much time had passed without us being told anything so again we went back to the counter where we were told that they could not give us a partial refund at the moment and that the manager was in a consult so she could not assist. We were also told they could only give us free cupcakes. What? That doesnt fix the problem... We were able to stop the manager in her tracks and she stated she was not allowed to give a refund either. However, she did state that when she was finished with her other consultation, that she would email us right away with more information. We ended up having to take the cake as it was since they couldnt fix it. The staff that was there agreed that this was very sloppy work and even the manager agreed too and that it was unacceptable. If you see that a cake is unacceptable, why are you selling it to your clients? Where is the logic in that? Regardless, we patiently awaited this email that was supposed to be sent right away and we never received it. Go figure. After we never received the email, we emailed the regional manager the NEXT DAY who asked us Did you already cut the cake? Can you bring it back? What?! The party had already passed at this point and the cake was already cut because we had no other choice and we were ALREADY in the bakery when we complained about the quality of the design! This whole experience was chaotic and bizarre. Getting the run around from the staff and the utter confusion with the manager was blatantly clear. I couldnt believe that this was even the customer service and experience we received as clients. Never will I recommend this bakery and that is a shame. We were looking forward to this so much. Sloppy sloppy work.

I won’t be back to this bakery. The cake looked v good! My son was thrilled; however when people leave most of the cake on their plate, you can tell it’s not good. My son took a couple of bites and said it didn’t taste good. The “buttercream” frosting had a bad aftertaste and tasted so cheap. I also couldn’t eat it. I peeled off the buttercream (which shouldn’t peel off— it’s not fondant!) and ate the cake alone. The chocolate cake was just ok, nothing special for the hefty price I paid for a small cake.I’ve had the cupcakes here. They were decent, and I had no complaints, so the cake should be as good, right?? Wrong.The cake was pricey; I took the financial bullet to get my son the Spider-Man cake he wanted. At least let it taste awesome and make me feel better about it.2/3 of it is sitting in the fridge bc no one wants to eat it. Sadly, it’ll probably end up in the trash :(

I ordered a custom wedding cake. I specifically asked for our cake to be delivered at 12:30. We were arriving at our venue at 12:00 (this was the earliest we could be at the location and ceremony and reception were all in one), food arrived at 12:30, ceremony was 1:30. I was told they had to give me a 2 hour window but would make a note to try to come early in that window. My 2 hour window was 12-2. 2:00 pm came and no cake. I called the store who called the driver who said they were sitting at our venue and no one was there. Translation: she was lost. My guests found the venue just fine. I attempted to guide the driver in and she ended up parking much further away than necessary and walking over 1/4 of a mile because she could not locate the street. Poor experience in that aspect for sure. I’m not sure why I had to contact them and not the other way around if the driver couldn’t find me..We had 20 guests and there was plenty of cake to go around. We did the white raspberry flavor for one tier and cookies and cream for the other. The cake was beautiful and did taste good, but I paid a lot of money to wait. Just disappointing.

They did a fantastic job with short notice on a Mickey Mouse cake for my 4 year old twins. I’m not kidding, it was the best tasting cake I have ever tasted. Everyone was very nice and they had it ready when promised. I will not use anyone else ever again. I strongly recommend them for any occasion when you need a great cake and want it done right. Grateful for gluten free cupcakes - they were yummy. They just forgot to include the menu so our friends didnt know what they were eating.

We were planning a Gender reveal partybfoe my sister-in-law. Katie took care of our order and was so informative and sweet. 4 days before the party we found out that she had lost the baby. When I called them about what happened they were quick to respond and gave us our deposit back. Not only did they refund our money, they drove to our house and delivered a special cake for our lose. First time ordering here and it was for my Moms birthday. Joanna was super helpful when trying to place my order via phone and she even suggested a helpful tip to save on a Monday ($1 mini cupcakes!!). The service was so friendly and helpful plus my Mom loved her 3 dozen of mini cupcakes. I will definitely be ordering again soon for other celebrations and highly recommend this cupcake shop :)

Great Cupcakes! Minis are perfect size to sample. They also make an excellent gift for a holiday or aniversary. They have a rotating variety for walk in but you can order ahead if you have a favorite.

The cupcakes are good, similar to what you aspire to at home. But the prices are kind of high. $26 for 12 would be a good price if they werent minis. Still, I think on Mondays you can get a dozen minis for as many dollars which is totally worth it. Ive had better cupcakes that were more expensive, and worse that were cheaper. 4 stars if you dont pay full price.

I ordered a smash cake for my daughter and it was beautiful and delicious! They delivered it on time in a nice box with a heavy base. The cake design was just what I asked for and we enjoyed eating it.

This is our go to for custom cakes, quick cakes, and cupcake hankerings. Weve been doing special orders and grabbing quick 4 packs for at least 10 years. Everything is always delicious! They are very consistent with the final product and flavors. Always exceptional customer service. Always the talk of my parties, events, or friends night for cupcakes. Always fabulous, all around.

They have a flavor for everyone but our latest favorite was the lemon the lemon curd inside was the best surprise. I walked in around 2pm on a Monday to get their mini cupcakes. They were all wearing masks and customers were 6 feet apart. It was my first time and the staff there were helpful! They let me know what usually flies of the shelf. My nephews loved it! Plain Jane, red velvet, Nutella, cookies and cream, cookie dough, high hat were our favorite flavors! The rest were good too. They don’t skimp on the filling and frosting. Definitely worth the calories.

Truly one of the best mini cupcakes I’ve had. Great selection, I would go on a Monday to get the $1 mini special. They also have frozen yogurt and larger cupcakes. Mini is definitely the way to go for me ! 🧁

I went on a Saturday afternoon and it isnt too busy. The ice cream wasnt the best Ive had, but it was okay. Their specialty is cupcakes and I was in the mood for something cold. They have vegan options for cupcakes and ice cream. On Monday, mini cupcakes are a dollar. The store is tidy and the girls who ran the store are kind and welcoming.

This was ordered through my husbands job and they were the best cupcakes I’ve ever tasted. The frosting on top was just perfect, not too sweet as in other places I’ve tasted. The cupcake itself was moist and delicious. Loved loved the strawberry one.

Edit: I’ve never had an issue with consistency of my favorite cupcake, plain Jane, but today it was so far off from what I love. Usually the cake is dense and moist; this cupcake was dry and super light. I’m sad about it but will likely be back to give them another shot.Absolutely love these cupcakes. I ordered a vegan cake for my husband’s birthday and sadly we were disappointed. The taste was good but the cake texture was very heavy or dense. So I’m sorry to say that our search for a place to make vegan cake continues. The cupcakes were better though. Helena was also very friendly and patient with me making up my mind on what I wanted too which is why I gave them a 3.

First I want to say cupcakes are good. Cakes not so much. I ordered 2 cakes wanted the small 6inch cakes and thought au was paying for 2 small ones and when I picked up they were double stacked and didn’t tell me this is what I was being charged for. The decorating on one of the cakes was very nice just what I was told it would look like but the filling was cream and not chocolate like I had ordered. The 2nd cake looked like if was rushed and was put together last minute. The filling was what I had ordered. Reason why I wanted the small 6inch cakes and not the double was because we didn’t need so many servings and we were also taking them with us to Universal so didn’t want to struggle with a big cakes. I would have given a 5 star rating if they had paid more attention to the little details. Cakes were also nit done by time promised 10am and had to wait until 3:30 to pick them up.

How is it possible these adorable cupcakes are only $20 for a dozen?! Each cupcake is a different flavor. Some usual flavors and some unique, all great. These were a big hit at my work! I would recommend these to anyone that wants to impress.They taste great, but even if they didn’t the decoration alone is a reason to get them...A lot of work had to be put in for them to taste and look that good.I can’t wait to see what they do for Christmas!

Nice cupcakes, but I tried to order a custom cake and the service was just rude. I had a rush order they were trying to accommodate which was great, but they never communicated what time they would be calling to confirm the order. (And not sure why it couldnt be handled with email??) I was in a high level meeting and was called FIVE TIMES and couldnt answer. I was told because I didnt pick up the phone, they couldnt do the cake. If you cant do the cake, sure, fine. But then I was texted this:Im sorry I did not have a time to tell you but it was my day off so I had to figure out a time to come in. Do not call this business unprofessional when we do not take large orders like this with such a short notice when I was trying to accommodate to you. Do not confuse your irresponsibility of not sending me back an email to my company being irresponsible.So, in conclusion, I would never want to do business with someone who speaks to customers like this, and Im glad I didnt place an order with them.

Talk about an inconvenience and waste of time!! If you have a website to place orders, create said site (the one you are so quick to point customers to) such that all orders can be placed and PAID. Additionally, it would be great to follow-up with a customer when you said you would, instead of a customer having to call you day after day oking for service and callbacks. Some places think they are so well known that it doesnt care how it treats a customer or two. You try to give these places a chance and they make it awful.Thanks for ruining my girls birthday. (3 and 10) Glad you were able to save some batter. I would pay someone else double based on principle and would not recommend this place to anyone that needed something done.

Today I went in and bought half a dozen cupcakes for mini Mondays, which I love! But when I took a bite of the tiramisu mini cupcake, it was so salty! As I chewed I felt salt crystals and I’m not sure why. I always get the tiramisu mini cupcake and it never tasted like this, so I was disappointed this time.

Our daughter was having a milestone birthday and she lives in Orlando but we live outside philadelphia. Because of the pandemic we could not see her. I wanted to make sure she had a memorable cake to share with her quarantine bubble friends. The staff at sweet made sure that the flavor and design and delivery to my daughters door was coordinated perfectly. They worked with me to get my daughter a very satisfying cake. I hope to visit my daughter again soon but admit that I will also need to visit this bakery. My daughter said that the slice of cake made a hearty thump onto their plates. They all enjoyed this decadent treat. We got the white chocolate and raspberry. I really want some.

Absolutely the best customer service and quality that I’ve ever experienced. I placed an order for a my dads first birthday in heaven cake for Friday night. That night, my daughter who is 11 years old, accidentally ruined it on the car ride back home (she was holding it while dad drove). Needless to say I was devastated. I was doing all I could to have a special event for my widowed mom and our family who loved him so much. My husband called and explained to what happened. Sweets By Holly fit in an emergency order and had it ready for us the following day, with a discounted price. I could not be anymore thankful. She saved the day in my eyes. No one would have even known. The cakes are identical! Thank you !!

Very disappointed. I ordered a cake for a special birthday. I sent an email of the design and cake flavoring I wanted. I picked the flavoring based on the description they have on the website and a design of a cake they have displayed as well. In the email I had wrote some minor specifics for the order as well.When I first picked up the cake I noticed those little things were not met and the design was sloppy. I didn’t say anything while I was there because I had thought “it’s whatever”, but when it was time to cut into the cake, total different flavor than I had ordered (s’mores). The website says it’s a chocolate cake, upon calling them and asking what happened, (she was very nice btw) they advised me that they had made changes and no longer use the chocolate base? I was given a refund and I really appreciated that. But at the end of the day, inside and outside of the cake were let downs.

AMAZING gluten free cupcakes! It is so hard to find gluten free baked goods that arent hard, dry, or that taste like a regular cupcakes. These taste exactly like regular cupcakes and are some of the best weve ever had. They are the perfect sweetness and consistency. Highly recommend this place!

Their red velvet mini cupcake is my absolute favorite. It doesn’t compare to anything else in the world. I waited all day to go get it, only to drive home and open the box and find a strawberry cupcake instead. I am literally so upset. That red velvet cupcake was gonna be the highlight of my day and now I have strawberry :( some of the workers also weren’t wearing their masks properly which is never something you wanna see in someone handling food.

The mini cupcakes are so dreamy. It’s a fun treat for the kids, and the flavors are delish.

We learned today that $1 Minis on Mondays now has a minimum number required for purchase. We use to buy 4 but they didn’t want our money…?Might be better than Sprinkles at Disney Springs, but definitely more expensive!

These cupcakes are awesome, however they changed a few key recipes and the newer cupcake recipes (s’mores I’m looking at you kid) are not as spectacular as the originals. That being said, I’ve also noticed the cupcakes are a little more dry, and the cake has started sticking to the cupcake wrappers which, for the mini cupcakes, shapes up to be half the cupcake coming off with the wrapper. Even though the quality has dissipated these are still the best cupcakes you will ever eat in your life.

We hired this vendor for two wedding cakes - a 3 tiered cake for 100 people and a smaller vegan cake for 10 people. The cake tasted and looked AMAZING, and I received glowing comments from our guests. The woman we communicated with for planning was also very responsive and professional. The vegan cake was vanilla and the 3-tiered cake was cinnamon swirl, red velvet, and white chocolate raspberry. We chose this vendor due to lower cost, high quality taste, and the fact that they had vegan options. Ive also bought cupcakes from here in the past, and have always been of the highest quality taste and style.The only issue we noticed is we dropped off ribbon to be placed on the cake. When the vendor dropped off the cake for our wedding, they gave us back our ribbon, and it was never put on the cake. I did not realize this until later since I was running around as the bride. Other than that, I would highly recommend this cake vendor.

I ordered a dozen of cupcakes for a St Patrick’s Day Birthday. They asked what kind of design I wanted and I told them it was ok to decorate them with any St Patrick’s Day colors, not only they surprised me with the most amazing designs but the taste was to die for, extremely delicious and beautiful presentation, and they delivered them to the restaurant we were having the party ! And they also brought the vegan cupcakes I requested and very delicious too .Great staff, delicious cupcakes, extremely happy with their service! Can’t wait to order from them again 🙂I highly recommend them !

Not a bad place but very limited selection for gluten free. The cakes on display look absolutely incredible so if you can have gluten then definitely check those out. I got a double chocolate cupcake and, while delicious, it was too sweet. The chocolate tasted good but there was WAY too much sugar in there. Still, its a place with gluten free options and I appreciate that.

Love Sweets by Holly! So many different flavors. My favorites are the peanut butter and dirt cup. But honestly, they are all so good. I usually only go on Mondays because their minis are only one dollar. I usually get half a dozen! Load up, they go fast.

We catered from here for our wedding reception. Every one loved the cupcakes we ordered way to many but they all got eaten days after. Even after 5 days the cupcakes and cake were still fresh and edible. Thank you for making our day special.

Consistency is key. I love this place but I’ve noticed that sometimes the cupcakes are missing ingredients or replaced completely with something different. For example, one day I bit into a signature cupcake expecting the Boston cream filling but was smacked with thick vanilla icing instead. I expected that on the top but not in the middle.

Mini Monday’s!!!!!! Sweets is one of my favorite spots to get a good cupcake in Orlando. And mini Monday’s where they sell all their mini’s for $1 does not make it any easier for me to stay away. I would sit here and recommend flavors but to be honest all of them are good, cookies and cream being one of my top 3 flavors.

Sweet was the very first wedding vendor my husband and I booked after getting engaged. Their cupcakes are always so delicious! For our wedding, we ordered 18 dozen minis and a 3 tier cake. People are still talking about how good everything was. Best cupcakes and cake around!

Ive never actually been in the store but I AM IN LOVE WITH THESE CUPCAKES. They are so moist and delicious! I literally go out of my way to get a hold of these delicacies. My faves are the lemon, the strawberry, banana, Boston creme, key lime, ok never mind I love them all.

The cupcakes are great specially the red velvet, the place is nice but the staff is awful, they are rude and they rush you when you are picking the cupcakes flavors. It sad that such a good place as so bad costumer service.

As an avid Cupcake Wars fan, I was elated to find out there was a Sweet by Holly location so close to where I live, and theres many good reasons to see what made this brand a winner--three times, if I remember correctly. Cupcakes are tiny and decadent with larger options available for those with a sweet tooth, and gluten free/vegan options exist as well. Atmosphere is homely and comfortable and they also offer custom birthday/wedding/event cakes--and what I believe might be frozen yogurt, if I remember correctly. Prices are very reasonable for gourmet hand-made cupcakes that are absolutely delicious; I cannot and will not ever get enough of the carrot cake or boston creme cupcakes. Above all else, staff and ownership are phenomenal and extremely kind. Restaurant regularly participates in local events as gift card donators, partial proceeds hosters for UCF clubs, and has even provided free cupcakes to fundraising clubs hosting bake sales or other events at UCF as well. A timeless addition to our little community.

On very short notice these wonderful people created ❤ in the version of cupcakes! Im very fortunate that I live close and they exceeded my desires my co-workers loved them !!!!

I ordered a candy cake. I brought all the candies top to decorate the cake.. They did a beautiful cake however, I was missing the most beautiful lollipop. I called them back and they told me that I only brought two lollipops. I told them that I had the receipt from party city. They called me later to informed me that they had the lollipop, but it broke. Really! Very disappointed!

I cant believe I forgot to review! Last year for my husbands birthday, we planned a Disney trip which was going to include a birthday cake from Cakes by Holly. These guys were honestly SO WONDERFUL the entire way through our experience. They were very patient with me while I navigated the process of ordering what I call a fancy cake for the first time. Not only that, but our Florida experience was canceled unfortunately because of Hurricane Dorian (that was the one last year, right? I live on the East coast and they all just tend to blur together at this point). Cakes by Holly was so gracious and helped us resolve the whole situation. I would really suggest you work with these guys if you can! Theyre really a dream. We might be in FL in the next couple months and I will for sure hot them up to finally get an amazing cake!

Very disappointed on my last trip. Staff did not know about their new ice cream which is also advertised as a gelato. Cupcakes tasted like straight sugar. Staff not trained and not loud enough to understand. On top of that, I was charged for a dozen cupcakes I didnt order - thank God I asked for a receipt and went immediately back to get a refund. Had the cashier spoke loud enough I would have heard the total before paying. Now awaiting a refund that I was told takes 4 to 5 days. Overall disappointed.

Mini cupcakes are very flavorful. I usually get 4 or a dozen.

Great tasting cupcakes the minis are 4 for $7.50 and the frozen yogurt was reasonably priced.

My husband and I enjoyed cupcakes over the years from this location, so we decided to order our wedding cake from here when Disney dropped the ball. The woman who assisted us in planning our wedding cake was very nice and patient. We couldn’t be happier with our two tier white chocolate raspberry wedding cake. It was phenomenal! Way better than any cupcake I’ve ever had from Sweet. Not everyone was happy with the food at our reception at Disney, but absolutely no one disliked the cake. It was definitely a highlight at our wedding! This might be the best cake we’ve ever eaten.We opted to not freeze a slice of our wedding cake and plan to simply order a smaller white chocolate raspberry cake every anniversary (assuming we can order that?).I highly recommend Sweet by Holly for wedding cakes (in addition to just their regular cupcakes), especially the white chocolate buttercream raspberry cake!!

The cupcakes here are so delicious but some of the employees aren’t super friendly. I also came by just now (30 minute before closing at 7) and the doors were locked. Two girls were in the store and I had seen one of them run to the door to lock it when I got there. There was also a male in the store who I am not sure was an employee or not (since he wasn’t wearing an employee shirt and went to go sit at a booth). I double checked the closing time, realized they should still be opened so I called while I could see the two girls still in the store to figure out why they were closing early. No one answered (I called three times and was blatantly ignored standing at the door). They left the room and I’m assuming went home. I’m not a big Karen-type personality but it’s just so rude to blatantly ignore someone (especially when you are still technically on the clock). I hope the customer service gets better here because the products are great just wish the girls were nicer...

Cupcakes were delicious, so was all the frozen yogurt we tried. And trust me, they let you actually try it yourself with a tiny little paper cup.The staff was super friendly and it looks like they cater as well.

Amazing service! The staff was very kind and helpful from the moment I walked in. During these times it’s hard to feel comfortable but they seem to have safety measures protecting us and them. Would recommend the cupcakes to anyone because they’re the perfect bite size. I haven’t been here in a while but I felt very welcomed! Thank you sweet!

Lots of flavors. I tried the plain Jane, dulce de leche, lemon, and creme brule. They are located in a shopping plaza so they get a lot of business. I think that is why they have so many reviews. But, the cupcakes were ok to me. I like my cake a bit more stiff. The cake here is a very moist greasy type of cake. The kind that crumbles as you remove the cake wrapping.

Good but overpriced Cupcakes by Publix taste better and cheaper

We’ve had their amazing cupcakes many times so we knew from the beginning that we wanted Sweet by Holly for our wedding cake. The whole process was easy and enjoyable. We set up a day to come in for our free cake consultation and had a great experience. We arrived on time, were seated promptly and given a book to look at some of their work. We chose which flavors we wanted to sample and they gave us a free cupcake to take home. The staff is super friendly and the consultant was very helpful. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the pricing was very affordable and we decided to add mini cupcakes to our order. The cakes were beautiful and we received so many compliments from all our guests! Everyone commented on how delicious they were. We highly recommend Sweet by Holly and will continue to go there for their delicious treats!

The mini cupcakes are amazing, so many different delicious flavors. $1 on Mondays. They also have regular size gluten free gf cupcakes in a few flavors. They have vegan cupcakes with chocolate or vanilla cake base, with chocolate or vanilla frosting. All of their vegan cupcakes are also gluten free. The gf and vegan cupcakes are $2 on Thursdays. These cupcakes are a little bit smaller than the full size regular cupcakes. They have a disclaimer that their cupcakes are made in a shared space, so they may not be safe for people with allergies.

Honestly the best cupcakes I have had, they are not too sweet and taste just like the flavor says!
