Always fun to stop by the NEX and do some shopping. It was specially enjoyable because we chose to visit just an hour before closing and the store was empty of shoppers, quiet and accessible without the usual crowds.Plenty of items on sale but we always shop for the usual.

I had never been in a base exchange before and I needed to go in here and it was the coolest experience Ive ever had its probably one of the best base exchanges Ive ever seen especially since you dont have to go through a guard gate or anything like that its just right there

My favorite exchange since it’s so convenient and close to home. They have an excellent selection of groceries, home goods, clothing and of course electronics, and whatever they don’t have in store you can order it online and it the majority of items you get free shipping.Talking about electronics they have some amazing employees there, specially Ivette she always goes above and beyond to make sure you leave there with the item you wanted and explains to you everything from A to Z. Tax free shopping but only for military active duty, reserves or retirees but starting Jan 1st 2020 I believe veterans would also be allowed to shop there just by showing their veteran ID card or DD-214 so that’s great news for a lot of veterans as well.

Exceptionally well stocked for such a remote location. The role there were very friendly and helpful. Wasnt sure what we would find, very glad we stopped.

I’m not sure the prices here are actually a savings compared to Publix and the selections are limited. I could not find any organic produce at all! The meat prices are the best reason to shop here. Plus they do have a wide variety of ethnic foods, which I love!

Inside the exchange is as expected, nice looking, outside is less than Im used to for appearance of a NEX

This Navy exchange has a little of everything. If you are a Veteran of the Arm Forces and cannot find what you are looking for in other stores, you might be able to find it here. They have from breakfast to take outs of chicken and ribs. Visit and find out for yourself. Take it from an Army Veteran!

Honestly, I wish NEX would spend some money and fix this place up, it really looks like a rundown Kmart even though they sport some of the best high end name brands at amazing prices.

As a military member, I really dont like going shopping on base as the prices are higher even though no taxes are charged. So I find that shopping at regular stores is more cost effective. Another thing I witnessed was that they are not controlling how many people are in the store at once

So A four time combat veteran who didn’t retire or has no disability can’t shop there? They need to do something about the system. Not everyone claims disability or abuses the system with service connections. I served 13 years and multiple deployments. Can’t get a bag of ice here? Unreal!

The Navy Exchange in Orlando far exceeded my expectations. I was expecting a convenience store size facility and was blown away by the size of both the store and the inventory it contained. The grocery section was equally surprising. While neither of the two parts of the facility can compare to the NEX at NAS Jacksonville or the DECA commissary there, the NEX at Orlando seems well equipped to support military customers in the area. Granted many of the grocery item prices are no better than Publix, when one considers that this is all a Navy Resale Command operated store and the grocery section does not fall under the Defense Commissary Agency to me it seems like a good deal. I frequently travel to Naval Station Rota, Spain and while there my on base shopping is restricted to the NEX Quick Stop. That store is barely bigger than an average convenience store and the prices make you think twice about whether you really cant live without that American item. I didnt find the prices at NEX Orlando so out of line that I wouldnt buy an item.

Globalist all websites are same on all locations overseas, knowing, their are special from those countries wow only officers allow to buy not enlisted,treatment equallyty even we retired 20years.

Nice and clean although smaller than say the San Diego or Pearl Harbor Exchanges but still has plenty of merchandise. Exchange also has Disney World T-shirts and souvenirs at better prices than Disney World. Theres also grocery side. Nice hidden gem in Orlando.

A great place and benefit in honor of our military. They finally fixed the AC a few months ago - a relief. . It’s a small facility but they serve us well. Would like to see more organic food choices and better quality shoes.
