Used to come here years ago before moving away for a while. Just got a chance to stop by since moving back and though its moved its still got a great game store feel, awesome selection of games, great selection of minis and good prices. Its a bit of a drive from my new house so I cant frequent often but definitely a great local place to go and worth checking out for your gaming needs.

Outstanding selection of table top games, accessories, comic books and collectibles.

Plenty of tabletop miniatures and various role-playing games, some tables for meet ups. Limited comics for sale. Their sweet spot is miniature figurines and tabletop rpgs, card games and dice. Staff is nice and knows their stuff. Reasonable prices compared to Amazon (about the same honestly) and a decent selection of miniature paints. Far more then most comic, hobby, and tabletop shops.

Loved it! One of the employees helped me choose a good board game “Unlocked!” And I totally love it. He took his time when I asked him for help (I’ve never been to a shop like that or have much experience in board games) he even explained some of the games that he believed would interest me. It’s nice to go into a place and get that type of service especially being new to it! I will be back once I finish the game for another!

Amazing store! Great boardgame selection I have never been to store with this many games and they have amazing prices too. Also the guy that works there is so helpful and nice. He really took his time to help us, explain each game and make a decision on some games we really enjoy. Will definitely be back and have been recommending to my friends.

Typical game store. Has an assortment ranging from tabletop to board to comics. And interesting collectibles. The bathroom needs to be cleaned better though.

As far as gaming stores go, this one is great! It has a wide variety of items for RPGers and board gamers, as well as a large selection of comics! It also has dice for those of us that never seem to have enough sets

This place is amazing as always! Ive been going here since I was a kid. From comic books to cards and collectibles the have a ton of great stuff. Even a plethora of table top games! Currently Ive been really into painting miniatures and sci-fi city is definatly a go to.

I love Sci-fi city it has been my main hub for DnD figures for about 4 years or more and they have been open since I was very long and have always been out here for the nerds among us! I love them and I hope they stay in business for a long time!!

Plenty of space and great prices. They seemed to have everything you need for painting war hammer 40k figures or what have you, a decent board game selection and some comics. They did not have the graphic novels i was looking for or the manga my daughter wanted but we would definitely visit again. They had tables set up for people to play and an area where people projects were drying etc.They seem to have a community of gamers, if you are looking for one.

Reccomend for anyone visiting Florida and loves dnd, in fact it has many different types of games and board games, comic books and it was just exciting to walk through

Lived in Orlando my whole life and l love nerd stuff, but never went to this store before this visit. I guess I walked in with higher expectations. This is your place if you want comics, board games, playing/trading cards, and model kits/paints. Im a gamer and while I wouldnt expect a game-stop type of selection here, I was hoping for some merch game related. Oh well. I would recommend that the guy behind the counter pay less attention to his phone and more to the customers. Im not sure what he was so engrossed in, but the audio came on for a moment and we all got a good idea.

This place has really gone down hill over the years. I remember coming in here and seeing the whole store stocked with all sorts of memorabilia and collectibles, the latest comics even medieval weapons. It was such a cool spot now their inventory is pretty much depleted, the entire left side of the store is just empty shelves. The comic book isle is so disorganized you can’t really find anything. Nor do they make an effort to keep sought after comics (current or vintage) stocked. Hopefully they pick up the pace a little bit so they can stay competitive with the other Comic shops in Orlando. I’d love to see them get back to their glory days.

Have large tables for large table top games. Understocked, very old school. Have quite a few classic comics. Store was cluttered and poorly lit.

Really cool store! Perfect if youre into miniatures and board/card games. One side of the wall is made to look like a castle wall, which i thought was neat. Pretty good comic collection too :)

Amazing stock with all sorts of different magic and fantasy games and comics.

I grew up going to Sci-Fi City so it has a special place in my heart. Probably started around the time the Decipher Star Wars CCG got big. Though its a little sad to see theyre not in the same huge space they used to be, they really have packed a lot into the new space and absolutely has the feel of the original.

Hate to give it a bad review. But its been better. This store has lost its mojo. Counters are a mess, personel are not very friendly. Decorations are broken. Bathroom is horrible. Gaming area is a complete mess. Even through this covid mess they could keep the store clean. But they dont. They no longer care .

Been one of my favorite game stores for many years now.

From my personal experience the board games were cheaper than most other shops Ive been to, and the staff were very helpful. I plan on driving almost an hour out to make this one of my go to places to pick up a board games.

The online pics make this store look huge, and while it is big about a 1/3 has gaming tables. Not a bad thing, just not what I was expecting. Great to see this store supports the gaming community.They have some great prices on board games. I purchased quite a few for less than 1/2 the man.suggested price. Great for Xmas gifts. The store is easy to see from the street and Google maps took us straight to it.To the owner I apologize, my son corrected me about the initial greeting. I walked in behind the group and didnt hear.

I go out of my way to support local businesses. I called them on the phone for a game They said yes we have it. When I get there its $20 more than the online price. Our website is run by somebody else . A waste of my time, I have not been back.

My favorite tabletop hobby store to shop at, they have been for as long as I can remember. I get my trading cards, my tabletop games, my comics, and even a few special orders from them. From time to time I use their table space for paints and crafts.Their staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. The store is always clean. Their selection is amazing.I highly recommend Sci-Fi City if you live in the general are or are passing through.

We always include a stop here on every vacation we have as its a great store. So many options when it comes to games and expansions, plus a nice selection of comics with movie and TV items too. A really easy place to visit with space for gaming and events. Prices are really competitive in line with some online retailers, and they have some good savings too. Definitely worth a visit and has parking too.

Unless youre looking for board games or TTRPG books, shop elsewhere. The miniature wargaming tables are still cluttered with empty cardboard boxes (making them look inaccessible), the comic section is minimal, and there are practically no Warhammer or Warmachine models. Youre better off shopping online or at another store, which is sad. I remember what Sci-Fi City used to be like and this desiccated husk is a far cry from how the store was back before they moved locations.

Everything is way under priced! Which I totally support! But the inventory is very low. Event tables are plentiful but they could use a bigger store.

One of the best comic shops in Orlando and a true classic. They did move across the street to a much smaller location but I feel the store is more concentrated now which isnt a bad thing. The old building was bigger and felt more roomy but it was also too spacious.The prices for the comics here are almost sticker price which is great. Im willing to drive up to an hour just to come here for the prices. I visit about 2-3 times a year but when I go its like going to Disney for me its worth it.

They had so many games, minis, dice and gamebooks. Got 10 minis for $15.

I go for the board games but they have other great aspects as well (comics, figures, etc.). The board game selection is great--from mainstream to rare/unique and all with reasonable prices. The owner is very friendly and down to earth--he and the team are also incredibly knowledgeable. The game space available to play or work on figure paintings is a nice plus and their weekly meet ups are a great way to meet people and learn/play games!

A very cool place to visit! We went to buy board games, and they didnt disappoint. There was a whole aisle fined from to to bottom with board games. Lots of comics too. There were also places to sit and play games. Staff was friendly at check out, but never approached us to see if we needed any help, which would have been nice in helping make our decision with all the selection.

Cool place and less traffic to deal with than the big name competitor...the sales people are always willing to special order if they dont have what you want in stock. Aisle setup lets you really enjoy browsing the inventory. It has been a little bit since Ive been in, but I recall it having very limited seating if you are looking for a place to play games with friends. Overall a real gem of a store and defenitely worth checking out.

Nice staff, good selection

I was able to explain gameplay of a boardgame I played 2 years ago and the owner knew exactly what game I was looking for, unfortunately he didnt have the exact one but instead had game 1 out of a 3 game series. I ended up buying game one since my friend had game two already, just one more game and we have the series!

Great place to get my D&D books and other gaming supplies. Would like to see some more 3rd party or ruleset neutral books to use for my D&D sessions. Would really love to see some older used materials such as stuff from older editions.

I have been go there for more than 30 years. No matter where I move I get my comics from here.

A good place to find gaming needs, to actually play, and to find good people to share interests with. A good location, good parking area, and staff willing to help or order what you may be looking for. One of the few gaming areas that have stuck around, so give them a chance.

Nice little comics shop. they look like they specialize in board gaming and the like. they have comics and I enjoy comics more than board games, so Id go elsewhere. they do have some nice statues of comic characters so go and check it out. the people seem friendly and helpful.

Awful!Awful! This place is not a Comic shop! Comics in Orlando must be fading out in popularity. They are only nice to table game players who buy there overpriced stuff. Not one person knows Comics there! It smells like 200 neck-beards that havent showered in two months converging on a new Con! The smell literally made me and my wife gag! Cool stuff smells better and that says a lot! We couldnt spend more than 5 minutes in the place. Oh and the key issues they have are a joke! So overpriced and not real Keys! It feels like (the biggest joke in Orlando) Hudsons Comics (are they still a thing?) Only with neck-beards running the show and not 18 year old girls.! EVERYTHING THERE IS CHEAPER ON EBAY AND AMAZON! Save the trip and buy online! the product will be cheaper and Better! THIS PLACE SUCKS!I miss Enterprise 1701. They actually knew comics!If you want comics now go to ACME!They have everything at amazing prices. They have anything you could ever want All day every day!

This store has a huge selection of board games and table top role playing games as well as card games, comics and collectables. It also features a gaming area for group play and tournaments. The clerk is great knowing just where everything is and when they are getting more or if they can order something specific for you.

Yes it might be a little more expensive then Amazon but they offer a free place to gather and play games. There is much more to offer in a good ol brick and mortar store. Its a tossup when trying to find a decent comic store. Do you want a store thats focused on comics and collectibles, or one that focuses on game play and game accessories? Sci-Fi City is a little of both. There are some display areas for comic collectibles, and a couple racks of game accessories, plus plenty of gaming areas, which are usually full on Saturdays.And they have plenty of comics, thanks to their great use of shelf space to store the comics, which gives them more room for gaming.

Very good prices, very good service and nice people. I would say its a nice place to play games, but they kick you out when closing time nears. They dont kid around about that!
