Absolutely wonderful store filled with so much awesome stuff. Everything is so clean and organized. Great comic selection, great selection of pop culture items. Its insanely well decorated.They have all sorts of pop culture figures and busts that are so cool to look at and shop for. At the front they have some nicely kept pinball machines, too. This place is truly one of a kind!In the back, they have probably the coolest bar Ive ever seen as well. If youre into horror or retro games, its a real treat.Staff was really friendly and helpful. It was really a wonderful experience!Also, Im very glad they care about the guests and staffs safety and require masks.

I wanted to stop in here after my wife and went to Universal Studios, Its very close by. I expected the basic shop that Im usually disappointed in lol. Instead I found a place with lots of different collectibles, lots to look at and a bar in the back that is pretty awesome too.My wife was even looking around and she doesnt really collect. This shop was a place we will visit every time we hit Orlando from Cape Coral.

If youre a big giant nerd, and you like to drink, this is the place for you. The comic shop in the front has a great selection and is priced fine and fair. But the bar in the back is the real gem. A lot of the stuff on the menu is a reference to nerdy stuff like games or movies and theyre always playing something on one of the many TVs or you can even play some games on some of them. Staff was friendly and knowledgable about the area too. If I could leave a review higher than 5 stars I would, being from Jersey it makes me sad, I would basically live here.

This place is Awesome!!! So many great choices for so many types of nerds, geeks, superhero fans.And they got a hidden bar!!!

Always a pleasure poking through the store! They have a wonderful selection of items for all fandoms. They even have spaces outside the shop for gamers to hang out and roll the dice and a full bar in the back to make it a good hang out spot! They have always required masks since day 1 of the pandemic and the consistency is wonderful! I appreciate the efforts they go through to keep a clean store/bar and safe and comfortable shopping environment for all customers.

Really cool store! We were looking to kill time before our flight home today and maybe get some last minute gifts to bring home. I had fun looking through the stickers and found some from my favorite game. The shop had a lot of really cool collectables, I was impressed with the selection. I lost my mask, which they require, but they had several really cute ones they sold for only a dollar. Very cool shop, definitely worth stopping by!

The second you walk in there is something to look at in every single direction. Staff is super helpful and passionate about their business. Fantastic store that is unique compared to other collectible stores.There is also an insanely awesome bar that is open at different hours, but the theming is some of the best Ive ever seen. The entire bar is Fallout / Post Apocalyptic theme from top to bottom. Well worth your time!

Shop was awesome! Has a whole variety of comics, toys, miniatures, etc. They have an incredibly awesome looking bar that is decked out in awesome stuff. Has a few arcade machines too including Tron. A really neat little place!

Great selection of board games and more. The staff was helpful as well. I just wish the board games were slightly more organized. Seems they are meant to be in alphabetical order but so many customers had come through it was tough finding the main game and then the expansions since they were all over the place.

Went here a little bit ago with my brother, picked up a “2001 A space odyssey” poster and a couple other things. I absolutely loved it, the staff were friendly, the environment was comfortable, and overall it’s just a wonderful shop. I fully support the mandatory masks and will make sure to visit again with my mask on!

Nice little gem we stumbled upon. The Fallout themed bar is cool. The selection of Nerdy items they have is nice. A little overpriced, but pretty standard for a local game store. My kids loved it, and we were happy to have made it out here.

Gods and Monsters is quite frankly amazing. The amount of comics and pop culture collectibles inventory is insane. Excellently organized and on put on full display by the wonderful and great natured family of workers. I have enjoyed the times I have been able to get to the store and shop and talk. In these crazy days they even have an online show with sales that allowed me to pick up items even if my time didn’t allow to get down there in person. Anna, Todd and all of the Gods and Monster crew are top notch!

I spent a $100 here and I dont regret it! I visited since it was my birthday vacation and was close by my hotel. I wished the comic shops where I live in SW FL was similar to this. Awesome selection of comics and unique figurines and other merch! They even have framed artwork from local artists which is cool!

Place is a giant nerd-gasm with the most amazing hidden gem of a bar! Highly recommend!! Ill be sure to visit every time Im vacationing in or visiting Orlando!

This place is AWESOME! I love the staff at the store, and the drinks at Vault 5421 are very delicious. William the Magician was incredibly entertaining, and I loved his level of service. The staff in Gods & Monsters are more than willing to help you find something, and will help you order items in if available.

Amazing selections no matter what you are into and very well organized. An absolute blast to walk through and discover new things as they seem to always be growing and getting new stuff. All the staff members here are friendly but more importantly knowledgeable. It doesnt matter if youve been collecting for years or new you will find something you like here. They also have a post apocalyptic bar in the back so if you are a drinker of just taking the young ones its a fun experience.

The staff is amazing, the owners are goofier than all heck, the place is compact but the amount of things they have in the space given is amazing, no space is wasted. The staff are overly concerned for the health and well being of not only theirselves but also the customers and ask people to wear mask. That is fine it is a pandemic and with the viruses mutating and causing the vaccine to be not as effective. However we are in this all together. Back to the store! It is very inclusive and a safe space for all people and beings. Go in for the books and toys stay for the Bar and no matter what share and spread the love. To the owners. We love you both!.

Absolutely rude. Gentleman behind the counter said we are doing the mask thing so put yours on thanks. I asked him if he had a mask for me and he said he got some for sale. Im not going to pay to shop in a store where Im not sure that Im going to even buy anything. Masks are no longer mandated so my suggestion is if you want more foot traffic and door swings; give out free disposable masks. You can buy them in bulk from Amazon for super cheap. Lastly, the store clerk was very quick to kick me and my wife out while I was suggesting to give me a free mask or lose a potential customer. My wife and I collect anime figures and are on vacation. We walked in with the intention of buying merchandise however Ill give me business to someone else.Response to the owners reply:I never told you Id give you a 1 star if you didnt provide a mask so therefore your blackmail assumption is ridiculous to say the least. Its okay if youre averaging 1 star per week. Its obvious as to why that might be the case. XD

I came all the way from Gainesville. They didnt bother to mention on their Google listing that they are closed for remodeling.Always update your Google listing, folks. The floor could be solid gold and Thanos could be the checkout clerk and I still wouldnt come back.

Gods and monsters will be hard to spot at first since its inside another building. Its literally in the corner of the building. But once you go inside youll easily see it.The store itself is pretty cool. It a long hall way with a bar room at the end. Definitely check this spot out for pop culture merch. The main focus I noticed was American pop culture like star wars, marvel, DC, etc. They do have some anime merch but not a huge selection. They have a good book self of manga though. They had some great volume 1 manga like goblin slayer.They sell various items from figures, statues, books, posters, etc. Definitely a spot to check out

Very nice store. Its was inside I guess what some people call a strip mall. The owner seemed real busy so there was not much communication but again if looking for comics,toys and D&D figurines they had plenty.

The comic section has little rolly stools so you can actually look through the comics without sitting on the floor! Simple genius! Very fun spot! Highly recommend!

This place has everything!

It’s a really big store with an incredible collection, but they will follow you wherever you go and after a few minutes it gets really annoying. We ended up leaving with empty hands since none of us felt comfortable being followed the whole time we were there.

Went for free comicbook day and it was an amazing find! Staff was nice and friendly ready to help and there was a vast collection of comics. They also have minis for D&D, mangas, different figurines and snacks too! Definitely everything you want for your geeky needs!

Had a great experience during our April vacation. Highly recommend. It was something different to do. Lived the bar in the back of store. Unique drink menu and very good. The owner staff are incredibly nice and knowledgeable about all things comic book. The store is very well organized and shoppable. Picked up a few gifts for my gift closet. Will definitely go back again on our next visit to Orlando.

This place is so cool. If youre a nerd or like nerdy stuff at all, you need to visit this place! It has such a huge selection of comics and collectibles.The bar in the back is also super awesome.I will say though, this is not a game store like some online lists say - it is a comic shop first and foremost, with an attached bar. You will not be coming here specifically to buy or play MtG, for example.

Such a cool place! The owner was very friendly and helpful. They have a little bit of everything and it’s all presented very well and neatly. They also have a really cool hidden bar which, due to COVID, is currently only open on Friday and Saturday but will open on Wednesday’s soon as well. Definitely a go to for all things geeky from comics, to anime, to fan favorite game characters Definitely a top spot for purchasing something to lit up your room. Or if you go later in the night you can hit the super secret bar for some amazing cocktails and craft beers definitely coming back

One of the best shops Ive been as soon as you walk in your jaw drops. Also they have a Fallout shelter bar in the back that was amazing.

Nice place with good selection of comics, figures and mangas. Fits alot in a small space which is impressive. Overall I would give the place 4 stars but the bar in the back is a must see. It looks so dope in person with drinks aptly named and well priced, especially the mead. Will be going back to drink at the very least.

Wow just wow! First the decor just pops! Its the perfect amount of overwhelming! Then as you near the back the sultry notes from the speakeasy grab your attention as you are pulled into The Vault! Once again the decor astounds the eye and then a lovely server asks your pleasure. Such choices! Monster Island was delicious as was the Nuka-Cola!

Super cool space. The comic book shop is pretty large, well stocked, and reasonably priced. (I was NOT expecting that last part considering their location on I-Drive.) Their bar in the back is probably my new favorite in all of Orlando (see review and pics for Vault 5421, the name of the bar.) The drinks arent terribly priced (good since its all wine based liquor,) and are pretty tasty/ match the bar theme well. Fun little time, honestly.Edit because I didnt realize the bar portion had its own page to review.

Absolutely love this place. My inner nerd/geek comes out everytime I walk into the store. Its like my home away from home. Walking into this store is like setting a child loose in a candy shop. Not only will it put you in a comfort zone, but it will send you back to your childhood. Really wish I could give 10 🌟s.
