I have been to this shop twice. The first time was amazing, the second.. not so much. Don’t get me wrong, they do QUALITY work here but the customer service is not up to par. My sister was getting a piece done and we came in with an initial idea but it wasn’t looking how we envisioned when it was actually drawn out, so we changed designs. I think this bothered the artist a bit because she has to begin drawing something else.Once we got a design that she was happy with the artist placed it on my sister and I commented that it would be upside down if she moved her arm a certain way. This also bothered the tattoo artist and she began giving me attitude asking me where how I would like it placed. I’m sorry but we’re going to have it placed how we want since it is a permanent design going onto my sister’s body.This was all after being quoted one price and then having the manager walk in yelling that we were quoted too low, and that we would have to pay the difference.

I can not express how happy I am with my new piercing! From the moment I walked in they were very professional and discrete about what I was having done. Once the peircing had begun he cleaned and explained everything in front of me for reasurance. I will definitely be recommending friends and family to them!

I got my very first tattoo today and what an awesome experience I had! I made a consultation appointment with Safari and he took it from there. Great vibe, great people and a quality job. It’s apparent that safety, cleanliness and client satisfaction are huge here. My artist was meticulous and easy to work with. First, very good customer service. Safari and another guy were at the front and spoke to and shared laughs with every customer. Very friendly environment. However, there’s a difference between a tattoo ARTIST and a tattoo DESIGNER. Art is the application of human creative skill and imagination. Design is the arrangement of lines and shapes created to form a decoration. I was treated as a walk in, quoted $1400 for a thigh piece that I expressed meant the most to me and the tattoo DESIGNER arranged the Google I pulled, specifically for reference not to copy, into what he said would be my tattoo. He did not draw a single thing. Artist make something out of inspiration, designers arrange what’s given to them. This shop needs to know the difference and advertise accordingly. I was refunded my deposit so no hard feelings. Otherwise, great shop, high prices, choose wisely!

Came to Orlando for vacation & was very impressed by the professional & laid back crew!! I had my 17 year old daughter (who also got tattooed), 10 year old son, 2 year old son, & 1 year old daughter with me too. Id definitely come back to get tatted again!! Completely made my vacation that much better!

I made an appointment for a nostril piercing with Safari as a birthday present. I arrived with two people accompanying me. We waited about 15 minutes and it turned out that there was an appointment issue on their side so because of this, Safari apologized and took it upon himself to refund the cost of the piercing.The facility itself seemed very clean and the back area was private with curtains for each room. Safari mentioned that he is vaccinated, and invited my brother & friend to come back and watch the piercing process.As soon as I sat down, Safari initially asked if I had eaten anything that morning, concerned for my blood sugar, because this was a big reason why people pass out after the procedure. I was misinformed and read elsewhere that I wasnt supposed to eat before the procedure, so I mentioned I didnt. Safari then gave me a root beer and made sure I drank a good amount of it to prevent me from going into shock after the piercing. He explained it all very clearly and made me feel very safe under his care. He made sure to put on new gloves, a new mask, and had sterile tools. He made the marking with a marker, I picked out the jewelry, and I was satisfied with the prep. There was no time for me to build up anxiety! I sat back down, closed my eyes, he said all right here we go and I felt the needle go through. It was as expected, it hurt for a moment and my eyes watered. After he put in the piercing and took the needle out, he told me to squeeze his arm as hard as I could to determine whether or not I would faint/go into shock. I was fine!Safari provided me with a free sterile saline spray and a comprehensive brochure with steps on how to clean, what to do and not to do, and made sure to let me know that if I have any problems to call them and let them know.My overall experience was great. Safari is a charismatic and genuine guy who will make you feel safe and welcome in his care. I highly recommend going here for any of your piercing needs. I will 100% definitely be back to get my other nostril pierced in the future.

Update---one week later i am still happier than i ever expected. The healing process is just as they told me to expect, and my tattoo looks fabulous. i already cant wait to go back for my next one, and i have a couple of piercings in mind.

Savannah came thru with translating the idea to reality. It helps when youre working with an artist that understands what youre describing. Instead of going with full color, Savannah made details that would appear best on my skin. End result looks extra clean and detailed in the right way, just as I just envisioned. (Also helped that she had a returning customer showing off more recent work, to which they were very pleased!)

I went with my mom to get her three tattoos from Trap. While I was with her I decided that I also wanted a tattoo and a piercing. It was last minute decision but Savannah jumped right in and took care of me. The tattoo I wanted was special because it had my late brothers initials and I wanted to represent his life on this earth with something that I could look at and live forever. Savannah did such a great job. She was kind, patient, and very talented. I also got a piercing from Trap. He numbed it and I didn’t feel a thing. My mother and I left and was extremely happy with our experience. Black Ink Orlando has such a great atmosphere and crew. You are all amazing. I highly recommend anyone wanting work to book with them. We drove from Jacksonville to get all our work done. Totally worth it. I can not begin to explain the experience I had at Blank Ink Orlando with Trap. I had three different c we ups that I wanted to take care of at the same time. Three that when I looked at them I saw sadness, trauma, shame, and guilt from all they represented from my past. I was nervous when I was making the two hour drive to the shop to meet Trap and get my work done. When I got to the shop and felt the atmosphere and met his awesome team all my fears and anxiety had washed away. I knew I had come to the right place. I had been speaking to Trap over the phone as he got to know me and what I wanted my new tattoos to represent. The images that I was shown that were drawn specifically to me was more than ART. It was a clear picture of what I was passionate about and the new meaning to my life and how far I have come. I am so amazed at the outcome. Throughout the night I got to share my experiences in life and where it has taken me and also got to know Trap and pieces of his life journey. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I made a friend for life. We shared laughs, stories of triumph, funny stories, and even created some funny life long memories. Trap I will forever be grateful as I look at the ART OF A MASTER ARTIST on my body. I am even more grateful to have made you someone I call FRIEND.

I had a really great time here, the manager is really friendly and makes the environment so enjoyable, he did my dermal piercing really fast and I also appreciate how he cleaned/sterilized the tools and even burned his hands to make sure he got all the germs off lol.

The staff was accommodating considering that we came right as they were closing and they still gave us service. We got a small tattoo but the artist were on point with what we asked for. I normally dont do reviews. But I will have to with this one and for that I sincerely apologize, but when you go to a tattoo shop you are entrusting someone to leave a permanent mark on your body. If the tattoo comes out wrong or bad its either laser removal or a cover up. We chose your shop because we read good reviews, we chose the top tattooist because it is your shop. Our appointment was for 12pm, you arrived at 12:30, I didnt sit down until 1:15pm. As an owner/artist if you have a 12pm appointment and open at 12. You definitely should of be their at least 45 min early to set up because that takes time. Once I was seated you began your tattoo, I went first. My sisters were already aggravated because you were late, I waited patiently. But unfortunately you overworked the area on my tattoo, the healing process is not only taking longer that expected, and its not a big tattoo but it is also healing painfully. You can see how deep you went into my tattoo, the color has already faded and its been a week. I am no novice when it comes to getting tattooed as I have a full back piece, and a few others on my body. I know tattoo care and how it should be healing. I spoke to several other artists and they all say the same. So here I am being very cautious with my tattoo so that I dont get an infection. And then after its healed completely, I need to get it reworked on. And I understand if you were upset or annoyed at my sibling, and how vocal she was with your unprofessionalism. But youre an artist, you leave your mark on ppl. Needless to say two sister got tattoos and one didnt. You have to do better, and you might ignore this post and that is ok as well. But I do hope it doesnt happen again.

My family went to Black Ink Orlando to get tattoos commemorating our little brother who was killed this year along with a couple of piercings and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience! My family can be a bit boisterous to say the least and we were treated with nothing but love and respect from the moment we walked in the door. I went here to receive a tattoo by Trap but when I got there he wasn’t there so Safari introduced a different artist to do my tat. His name was packa. Although Packa was really nice and professional, I don’t appreciate not being called to be informed my original tattoo artist would not be there. I feel like I talked to and built a relationship with Trap, already no matter if the tattoo was simple or not I would have appreciated Trap doing it. I’m not in love with my tat but I don’t hate it. Although I more than likely will not be returning to this shop I wouldn’t not recommend anyone to go here but I will just say confirm your appointment and artist before you go to be sure your artist is there.

At first we were appreciative of your workers purchasing from our event the Brazilian Church of Love was having. They were polite & even though there was a language barrier we communicated well. But we were VERY disappointed when some decided to put on a mask & run through our event screaming. I don’t know about others religion our culture but it was very disrespectful. We worked really hard to have successful events and so the disrespect was a slap in the face for our people. This truly offended the elders and scared some of the children hopefully this form of DISRESPECT will never happen again thank you.
