I arrived sometime after 7:30am and left at 8:30am with a new battery. What I thought the problem might be. “Hill Assist not available” idiot light on my Ford.They charged the going rate for a battery, maybe a bit more than if I used AAA, but definitely did not over charge. Some places offer free testing of the old one, but I’m not upset at the fee. The labor charge was not out of line at all. Plus, I don’t have friends or family that live near by to give me a ride home. So, they saved me a Lyft fare. I wasn’t even there long enough to try the coffee. So I’m willing to pay a little extra to have my car looked at as soon as I walked in.From Anna who answered the phone, to whoever looked at my car every one was nice and professional.They were willing to look at my car as soon as I pulled in, to see what the problem was, and whether I should just stay or find ride home. Every other place I called yesterday between 5-6pm didn’t answer, didn’t call me back (even this morning), or no way they’d look at my car within the first hour, nevermind within 5min.I have new service center.

I have taken my autos here for over 8 years. They have always been honest, forthright, and scrupulously candid as to my needs, availability of parts and their work, time necessary to do everything. They have never failed me. My autos have been older Jags, Suburban, and Honda. I also need to add that Universal Service Center stands by their work - if for any reason there is a continued problem - they are there to fix it. Their mechanics as well as staff/admin are always courteous, informative, and helpful. Truly a great place!!!!!

Marcelo (front office) and his employees helped address a cylinder 5 misfire (bad spark plug and potentially coil) on my Toyota Sequoia. I was on a road-trip and needed a quick fix so they helped out somewhat rapidly. BUT they pushed their diagnostic fee which was ridiculous since I came in with the diagnosis and code. Plus, they recommended to change all plugs and coils when I said I didn’t want to. Very aggressive mechanics with no empathy and terrible customer service. Extremely rude and unprofessional. Do not recommend and only came here since it was closest shop.

Thank you so much! My husband brought my car there to plug a tire that my husband thought any tire place would try to say it was too close to the edge and they would try to sell a tire. They did not and they also plugged it while my husband waited. 20 min!!!! Never ever have we ever experienced that the many times we went to Tire Kingdom on Turkey lake rd. (We only went there for convenience purposes) and never had a decent experience with wait times/aggressive upselling. Please stay away from this shop!!! My son went to have a simple valve replaced and ended up with a broken shifter which he now has to replace! The cost is around $600!! The management is rude and dishonest! They are disrespectful to customers!! I’m sure most of the reviews that are positive are fake!! Do not go to this shop!! They will break something to get you to spend more money!!! Stay away!!

I just went there to get simple bulb replacement for my low beam headlights and it came to over 100$. They obnoxiously upcharge you for labor compared to other places. 50$ charge for labor and after looking at past receipts from other places only charging 20-25. None of the tools or techniques they use justify this increase of upcharge. If you’re looking for an affordable and reasonable priced mechanic. Go somewhere else. This is not your place. Found out not only did they fraudulently charge for services they claimed are completed but then proceed to leave loose parts laying around on your engine. Could have lost the parts forever and have to buy new ones due to the incompetence level of their awful staff! A month of having the lights and they already stopped working! Total rip off for spending over 100$!

These guys are the perfect no-frills and honest repair shop! I got in a little over my head trying to install a new drive belt, tensioner, and alternator into my 08 RAV4. After I had it towed to this place, they called to tell me the belt I had gotten at auto-zone was the wrong size! Luckily they had the correct sized drive belt in stock and everything was wrapped up in just a few hours. 11/10 for being so quick and for letting me drop the car off at a moments notice. Really good prices as well!

They did a good job repairing a solenoid and camshaft adjuater...although I was at the shop at 7am opening and nooone showed up to open the doors till 730. One guy told me I wouldnt make it across the street with my worn tires, just wanted to let you know I made it home safe 215 miles.

I had never been to this repair shop before so when I was referred there for a problem w the seats in my Mercedes Benz E550 I was skeptical if they could solve the problem. Within a day I received a call from Ruben the owner who told me each seat needed a specific part to repair. He then fixed both seats and they now work PERFECTLY. Honesty and integrity are 2 things I value most in this world and I can assure you that they have it and Mercedes Benz of South Orlando doesn’t. Ruben charged me $701 for the repairs. I was able to source the parts cheaper from a friend in Miami which Ruben had no problem with. MB South Orlando said I needed new seat frames and rails to the tune of over $5000.00. The parts cost me $410. So for $1111 I was able to fix the car w Ruben. Such a tremendous experience w Universal. A must go if you want an honest price for honest work. The same CANNOT BE SAID ABOUT MERCEDES BENZ OF SOUTH ORLANDO.

I got here driving with my truck just because it had a little noise and the next day they called me telling me that my truck didnt work anymore and that it could be a computer that had to be changed and it cost $ 1100, and that if I didnt fix it there I had to pay $ 99 of diagnosis, it bothered me a lot because I couldnt understand what happened, I had to tow my truck from that place, I took it somewhere else and they were more precise with the problem. What bothered me the most was that they told me that if I didnt pay the $ 99 they would tow me my truck, very rude people here.

As usual, Universals team diagnosed the problem with my 2004 Escalade and repaired it within hours. Flavio drove me home and Gilberto called when it was ready. Great service here and always dependable. Thats why their lot is always so full! But, somehow, they always get it done and done right!

We visited this garage a little over a year ago. We were about to leave a nearby resort to drive back home to Chicago and discovered we had a flat tire. They got us back on the road quickly and treated us like family. Very highly recommend!

When I say this company went above and beyond, they really went ABOVE AND BEYOND! We had an unfortunate situation with our vehicle that it completely died while on our way to one of the parks. It was late on a Saturday night and no shops were open during that time. AAA gave me a hard time since I dont have a membership and after repeatedly transferring my call, I hung up. I found this gem, Universal Service Center, by using Google search. Gilbert was not only wonderful, but a savior. Got the car towed to his shop and he lend us a vehicle! Such kindness, I am still lost for words. He fixed our car and it was ready the next afternoon. Parts and labor completely reasonable. After a few weeks passed, he contacted me asking if there were any issues with the vehicle. This man really values his customers. I only wish I lived in Orlando so I could be a regular customer.

I always use Universal Service to fix my car. I have had great service since day one and that was about three years ago. My car is older and is a Hyundai so it’s not a standard repair but all the guys there are knowledgeable, friendly, and trustworthy. I love that I can get my car fixed At a local business and keep the dollars in Orlando. But more than that, I love that I can take my car to someone I trust who will give me a reasonable price and will not trick me or swindle me.

I called last minute and they managed to squeak me in for an oil change. I was in and out real fast. Everyone I encountered were kind and let me know I should get my rear brakes and tire replaced. Highly recommend.

Gilberto, Flavio and their team are outstanding! They genuinely care about the work they do and make sure you are completely satisfied, with regular follow-ups after completing the work. I have been using them for many years for all our vehicles and they have never disappointed. For instance, we had to replace tires on our daughters vehicle. They were honest with their estimate as well as the work performed and did not attempt to sell us any services they knew we did not need. In fact, when one of the tire/wheel sensors needed to be corrected, they resolved the matter without charging a fee. Need to check the air in your tires? They will gladly help you with it as well as pass along a smile! We will continue to have our cars serviced here.

The Universal Service center has helped me greatly this year. First with brakes and then when my serpentine belt broke. Their prices were fair and at our below competition. Generously I give them 3 stars due to the job being completed. However after my experience I wont be back. Online under hours it states closes at 5pm. I called at about 12 and asked If I could come in at 2:30 to have the studs on my car replaced &The person on the phone told me to come in. When I arrived the man at the counter gave me an attitude breathing hard while Another person took my keys and said hed take care of it. When I asked how much this would cost the man said He will come and talk to you in a minute no one gave me a price; I was charged 2 hours of labor (260$) because we waited on a truck to bring 4 lug nuts in a paper bag while the staff patiently waited around doing other things. Incredible. & Id recommend having Massey come out they have a serious bug problem in the waiting area.

Ive come to these guys twice now, once to repair my water pump and once to fix my power steering, and both times theyve been quick with repairing my car and I was back on the road within a day or two of bringing it in.The only problem I had was when I took it to get my power steering fixed, I went to pick it up and I still could barely turn my wheel. But when I took it back, they fixed the problem that day without charging me again, which was nice.Theyve also sent me texts checking in to see how my car is doing. Some people might find this annoying, but I think its nice and shows they care.

At 8:30 AM the next day I called and both tires had already been assessed, repaired and balanced with no leaks remaining. If they tell us there is a problem with our car we can believe them, and if everything checks out fine they are happy to tell us that, too. It’s so nice to have mechanics we can trust and who feel like old friends when we walk in the door.

They fixed my ac. Were super thorough and did a wonderful job. They informed me of their findings and kept me updated. Universal Service Center is ideal for my needs as well as my Sons family and, from what I hear, his in-laws too. They referred me to Universal after I moved to Florida in 2018.This would be six vehicles total. But, I will just rate my experience and it is clearly 5 of 5 stars and I have three vehicles in my household. Universal can handle all makes and they are very skilled at a reasonable price. They offer prompt service and they warranty their work. In the rare event something is not right, for me, they quickly took care of it. It gives me comfort to have found this honest and very capable automotive repair facility.

Passing through from KY to the Florida keys and had car trouble. The owner was able to get me in immediately, diagnose the problem and get me back on the road within a couple hours. Followed with a follow up text a couple days later to make sure the car was running ok. Much appreciated!

I have been bring my Jeep to Universal Service for years. The service has always been excellent and fairly priced. I don’t have to sit and wait for hours as I have at the dealers. The take me to my home and pick me up once the service is done. If I have any questions about anything, they have always provided the answers I need, even on recalls that I’ve had to take to the dealer. Last time I had an appointment with the dealer, I brought my Jeep in and they didn’t have the parts. It took the dealer over a week to get the parts in. I was stuck because it was a recall. This never happened at Universal. They always seem to either have the parts or be able to get them in within a couple of hours. I appreciate their courtesy, integrity, and their professionalism. I came to Orlando for a few days and noticed that my car was over heating. I immediately went online to search for car repair center and noticed a few in the area. I saw many car repairs in the area, but; decided to go with “Universal Sevice Center.”I am very glad I did!!! I brought the car in & left it for a few hours and in less then 2 hours the owner contacted me to inform me The diagnostic. I thought it was one thing but it ended up being something completely different.They were so nice from the minute I dropped the car. They also seemed to be so honest with everything. I never got any hassles as others have claimed in prior reviews nor any “up charges” they were really NICE from the minute I walked-in to the end.I am very happy that they were able to help during my EMERGENCY!! Horrible service and unprofessional staff. I came in because I was having issues with my AC and was told it would take approximately an hour for them to fix with a cost of around $100. Nearly three hours and $234 later I left with my car still blowing hot air and was told it would cost $1500+ to actually fix. Staff seemed overly concerned with trying to sell a car “under the table” and left me waiting for nearly 30 minutes before I could actually pay for my “services” and leave. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I am honestly shocked by the amount of positive feedback they have. If you care about your car and wallet, I would avoid this place at all costs.

So far havent been happy with my service here at all. My vehicle has been there a week waiting on a part when the day came they told me they had the part then told me ot never came in. After confirming they had the part they told me my car would be first serviced due to it being there for days. I called later the next day and they had not touched my vehicle yet. Seeing they were playing i took a lyft to the shop which was the only way to get my car serviced immediately. After sitting there about 2 hours they then told me they oredered the wrong part. So now again i have to wait and pray they order the right part and decided to actually put it on.

These guys are great. I take both of our vehicles to them and they always tell me exactly whats necessary to get the job done without trying to upsell me on anything. Theyre usually able to magically get the work done the same day, which blows my mind.I feel like I can trust this shop to take care of any issues that come up... big or small.

I was really impressed by his recommendations, he always brought all his cars to them with no doubts that he was in good hands. I used to be concerned of having to find a trusted mechanic every time I had an issue with my car because I didn’t know who to really trust, most times I ended up at the Dealership, but after I started working with the team at Universal Service Center I don’t feel concerned any more. I feel that they are a safe place, they are honest and I don’t have to worry that they are going to try to take my money or create issues to make repairs more expensive. They will tell you the issues like they really are and sometimes that means after taking a good look that there was not a real issue after all.
