I arrived at 2:20 for my 2:30 appointment. My car was finally ready at 4:00. How can a simple oil change and scheduled maintenance take that long? However, the young man that greeted me was friendly and asked questions from someone else, when he didnt know what to do. Hopefully next time, things will move along better.

This is our second Subaru from sport Subaru and both times we’ve had a fantastic interaction with this dealership. I just picked up a brand new WRX and couldn’t be happier with my purchase. During the process of purchasing our Outback we interacted initially with Damon who was very helpful in providing all the details of the trim lines and taking us for a test drive. However, because we were just beginning our new car shopping we still wanted to research additional makes of cars before making a purchase. The goal of our second visit was to examine a used Outback and Antonio worked with us very patiently to go through the details of the used vehicle and the differences between it and the new models. After a considerable amount of discussion with Antonio and more test drives we decided on a new model. Overall our interaction with both sales reps was pleasant and informative. Jonathan Frisbee was also easy to work with through the paperwork and registration process.

We were so amazed by the different experience that we had here from Southerlin Nissan and the Kia dearlership on orange blossom trail. Southerlin ripped us off from the get go because we were too tired to read the small print and hidden dealers fees. KIA DID NOT WANT TO HONOR THEIR OWN STICKER PRICE. Instead they want to increase the price by 15000 just because of the demand being higher. With Don Mealy we met Nicki our sales lady and talk about awesome she was AMAZING. I can not think of anything that she did not know about the car. She literally walked us through everything. Then she introduced us to the manager Edwin. His number one goal was to make sure everyone both buyers and shoppers had an awesome experience. I am so excited to start a lifelong relationship of Subee owner/dealership and service center family. Best/worst part of this referral is that we have been subee owners already for the last 4 years but have not experienced this level of commitment until now. Then we met Jean the service manager and talk about honesty she did not try to sell us a thing. Just pure honesty. She looked over our outback and updated the system in a short amount of time when everyone else wanted us to leave the vehicle overnight. Last but not least Jon the financial advisor. Not only did he get us a great deal, he got us a better deal then we walked in with and instead of selling us a whole bunch of extras, he walked us through everything and gave his suggestions as well as keeping us under our original budget. I wish I could say something that needs improvement but honestly it was the absolute best experience we have ever had. I can see why they are number one. Guys I dare you to find a better dealership family. You won’t be able too
I would like to express my disappointment with my most recent experience at Don Mealey Sport Subaru. I came to get my car looked at Sat. Oct. 2nd as I noticed my tire was leaking air. After a couple hours of just waiting for them to even check the tire, I was told that I would need to replace all tires, however, they did not have tires in stock and I would need to make an appointment. I was given a quote for the tires, alignment, and a drive belt that I also needed to replace, and they said that the tires would be in later the following week so I made an appointment for Sat. Oct. 9th. After scheduling the appointment, it took another TWO HOURS just to bring my car around to be able to leave. I was told by my service advisor that “he had a lot of paperwork and did not know where my keys were”. I was glad to have the diagnosis but pretty unhappy that I spent four hours there and got zero work done on my car.On Wednesday, I decided to call and confirm that my appointment was actually scheduled and the tires were ordered and, sure enough, they were having trouble finding the details for my appointment. I was then told I would receive a call back that day once they found the information. I never received a call back, so decided to try again Thursday, at which point I was told that the tires were there and I was all set for Saturday.I arrive Saturday morning before the service department opened and early for my appointment and decided I would wait at the dealership as I was told it would take about two hours for everything. After waiting for THREE HOURS (for what should have been done in two hours), I got the FIRST update from my advisor only for him to tell me that the tires ordered for me were allocated to another vehicle, leaving them with not enough tires for my vehicle but they were working on getting more. In my next update about 40 minutes later I was told that they had got more tires, they were working on my car, and it would be ready in 20-30 minutes. An hour and a half later I was told that they only have one machine and so it was taking longer than expected but they were still working on my car and it would only be 20 more minutes. At this point the time estimates didn’t mean much and as you might have guessed another hour and a half goes by. After a total of six hours, they finally said my car was ready. But the problems did not stop here. When I went to pay, the price I was quoted increased by $200 as they forgot to include numerous service and shop fees on my quote. I was told the quote did not include sales tax, but was surprised to see all the additional charges. After discussing my poor experience and asking if there was anything that could be done to make up for my lost time, my service advisor said he could try to get me a free oil change in the future. After I said that I was not at all interested in a discounted future service, but rather a discount on my current bill, I was offered a measly 10% discount which did not even cover those additional charges I mentioned previously. Still disgruntled, I went ahead and paid for the service but do not plan to return for future work.I don’t often write reviews, but could not hold back this time as I have never experienced such poor customer service. I can’t believe if this is how you treat your customers, how you expect to retain customers, and not expect them to seek service elsewhere, as this is what I am planning to do unless something is changed/resolved.
David Roman was amazing! He answered every question promptly and was by far the best communicator I have ever dealt with in a sales rep of any type. Every concern I had was more than adequately addressed. He even delivered the exact car of my choice to my driveway! By the time we parted, I had zero buyers remorse, because I felt he was honest with me and gave me the best deal he possibly could. I highly recommend not only Don Mealey Sport Subaru, but especially David Roman.
I was trying to buy a vehicle from out of state and didn’t realize Florida is the only state to charge sales tax in their own state and will not transfer them to the state I’m registering in. That adds on a lot of extra money. The manager said straight up “I’m not coming off $3,000” in a very rude tone. That’s fine, I asked if we could cut the price of the vehicle by half of what the sales tax was, not even the full amount. She said she could do another $200, that’s it. I said, “that’s not even close…” She replied back, once again, very rudely “Okay, have a nice day.” And hung up on me. I would not recommend trying to do business with them, especially from out of state.

We recently bought a Subaru Ascent from Don Mealey Sport Subaru. It was a wonderful experience. We called Frances Vargas at noon. She told us there is a model we are looking for and asked us to come in right away to check it out. We met with her at Don Mealey Sport Subaru half hour later. Frances was very enthusiastic showing us the details of 2021 Subaru Ascent and very considerate of our needs and finance. We didn’t know the availability of 0% interest car loan, but Frances brought it up and encouraged us to take the advantage of the loan. With Johnathan Frisby’s help we drove a brand new Subaru Ascent home within 4 hours. It is a truly amazing experience.
I just want to give a huge shout out to Tommy. He has went above and beyond for me and my husband who has bought a vehicle from BMW in Fort Myers; needless to say we was there back and forth in less than a week with an ac problem. BMW pretty much said screw you and your on your own. They said they wont help with anything and the vehicle we only had a month and a half, mind you the issue started the day we pulled off the lot. Our service advisor told us to take it to a Mitsubishi dealership and once the problem was found, if any they would take care of it for us. Haha they still refused and couldn’t even help with a loaner car knowing we were over two hours away from the dealership. Tommy and his staff made it happen although they didn’t have to. We didn’t purchase our vehicle there and Tommy made sure we had a loaner car until ours is done. Thank you again Tommy and your staff for all you kindness help while there. I would definitely purchase a vehicle here any day. The best dealership I’ve ever dealt with
***Buyer Beware***Im usually a Honda owner. After being advised that Subaru had just as good if not better service and an overall better “certified used” point system, I officially bought my first used Subaru 2015 Crosstrek from this dealership. I’ll admit that I fell for all the rave reviews and I know that when you buy used, you are essentially buying someone else’s problems. Since I’ve had so much success with my previous “certified used” Honda’s, how could I go wrong? Well, less than 8 months after my purchase and the 1st trip that was more than 1.5 hours the A.C. went out. When I took it to the dealership to get serviced they told me that the fluids needed to be flushed and, bonus, I needed a new battery. I’ve had to put over $1,500 into this “certified used” car, in less than 8 months! I even purchased the extended bumper to bumper warranty when I first bought it (which by the way seems to literally only cover the bumpers, and has a $500 deductible). I was really hoping that I could hit the road and if issues would arise the extended warranty would cover any major issues at any dealership service center. Even after getting the compressor replaced, like clockwork, on the next 1.5 hr trip it went out again. I happen to be in another state, so when I went to book an appointment to have it looked at, at another Subaru service shop, they were going to charge me $138 for a diagnostics check. I’m over the Subaru service scam. Make sure they show you the printout of what exactly they checked and replaced on their “certified used” promise. Hope it’s just this car and that your experience turns out great.
Blaine in Service was very helpful after the purchase of my car from another location. He helped me work through a full inspection, warranty claims through Silver Rock and got them approved and repaired in a timely manner. He made sure that I was taken care of as a customer and I appreciate the honesty and efficiency.
Anthony was our sales agent and did a great job showing us the vehicle we were interested in. After driving the Limited version of the Ascent, we werent really satisfied with the color option that they had in stock, but loved the ride of the vehicle. Anthony mentioned he had the color we were looking for in the Touring model, and after checking it out we fell in love with it. Anthony took all the time we needed to show us the options of the vehicle and how to operate the many functions the vehicle came with. He answered any and all questions we had and even followed up the next day to see if we were still satisfied with the ride. All in all a great experience and we felt lucky that we had Anthony as our guide. Great guy who was very knowledgeable of the product he was selling!
Drove all the way from Tampa for our Subaru. Very pleased with the whole experience which isnt exactly commonplace while buying a car. We bought a Subaru Ascent and it couldnt have been a better experience thanks to Antonio Natera. My husband fiercely protects our finances and can be challenging when it comes to major purchases, but Antonio understood and worked patiently with us, while protecting the interest of his employer. Due to COVID protocols, Maria was our first contact. She was pleasant, knowledgeable, and welcoming. We also met the manager and finance manager (Salem), all who were professional and kind. We visited four car lots on Saturday. I can assure you that we saved the best for last and are pleased that we made our purchase at Don Mealey.

He listens to your needs & does work to get the best deal & car for your needs! Our 2nd visit was to have our Outback serviced. Found Robert while we were waiting & he asked if we wanted to look at a new car. I told him it had to be something awesome & in budget in order for me to trade in my Outback. My husband and I bought a car here 2 days ago and we couldn’t be happier. The car was exactly what we were looking for at the perfect price. Our car salesman was a gentleman by the name of James Menzies. I’m very happy he worked with us. He is very helpful, honest, kind and patient. Before we even got to see the car ourselves he noticed a strange noise while driving it up and took care of it immediately. Him and the manager were so kind and diligent and worked with their service technician to make sure the car was perfect before even considering to sell it to us. James kept us plenty accompanied and answered all of our questions. I was there for a while but that’s to be expected when buying a car, and everyone was patient while I read all the paperwork and asked all my questions. Their dealership fee is $699 which is the lowest I heard from various different dealers.There was no pressure in purchasing the car either, it was really the best experience I’ve ever had at a dealership. When Robert saw me he came running over and started helping me immediately. He was very knowledgeable and he listened to what we wanted and our concerns and was very easy to talk to. We have been very pleased working with Robert Duran to purchase our new Subaru Forrester. He understood what we needed and wanted in a new vehicle and carefully explained all the features of the car. Since we completed the paperwork at the dealership, he was kind enough to deliver the car to us when it arrived. This was a great bonus. He spent a good length of time showing me about all the controls/buttons etc. so that I could feel comfortable taking my first drive and learning what everything does. We were also pleased with how Jon Frisbee managed all of the paper work involved.

Great overall experience! Mike Stacks was super helpful at finding the exact Forester model I wanted which is tough right now because of the microchip issue but he did it! They got the vehicle from another dealer on the coast and even delivered it right to my home when it arrived. Sam in finance super nice guy as well.

He was extremely non pressure and totally listened to what I was looking for. I was actually looking for a couple of specific vehicles they had in their pre-owned inventory. He totally listened and never tried to sell me anything out of my comfort zone. Only what I was looking for. He let me test drive as much as I needed. Handled everything extremely professionally. This is the second suburb I have purchased in seven months. Antonio was the sales person both times. I requested him the second time as he is thorough and patient. He does not push the buyer. He was able to teach an older adult how to use some of the more complicated features on the car! We will request him for our third Subaru probably within the next six months as the entire family is sold on suburus.
Especially during this difficult time of COVID-19, Nikki did a great job helping us find the right car. She is a good listener and responds to texts quickly. A+!

Leased a new forester over the weekend. Robert was my salesman and he was excellent. Process took longer than it should but I can say that about every dealer. Robert was on top of everything and did his best to keep us comfortable and entertained during the wait. No complaints and I’m very happy with my purchase. No haggling, no back and forth, no waste of money “dealer fee”.
Purchased my 2018 Crosstrek here. Been going for years and have only had great experiences. Maybe there are cheaper places, but I have been offered free rental cars, fast service, and knowledgeable employees. The only “issue” is that if you have to wait a few hours, there’s not really anywhere to go within walking distance. Don’t come hungry if you know what I mean.

Customer service was not up to part. Did not get notified when my Car was ready and not satisfied with the vehicle diagnostic. Gave the impression that its more about making the profit than customer satisfaction.

My wife & I just bought our 2nd Subaru Outback from Robert Duran & David Roman, a Black Outback Touring XT. We traded our 2015 Red Outback, which we loved, for the purchase.These guys went out of their way to find the vehicle we wanted, then secure & transport it to their dealership.They answered all of our questions and were very friendly.The only tiresome aspect of the process came at the end with all of the paper work and the too long of a sales pitch about buying extended insurance, which we were not interested in.Still a very low key experience with an exceptionally good price.
The wife and I were very pleased with the level of service and professionalism displayed at this location. Interacting with Jonathan and Angel( on Jonathans day off) was of the upmost respect. They explained everything, offered options and asked the correct questions thus leading us to actually look at 2 different models upon our return to “look” again. My only negative comment is not getting the best deal upfront. Just a word of caution, there is another Sport Subaru dealership you can go to but it will cost you more in”fees” and add ons that are not at this location. Again you won’t go wrong in having Jonathan and/or Angel assisting you.
Anthony was very accommodating to all my questions, concerns and basic inquiries relevant to answering all my questions relevant to my getting the exact vehicle I wanted. There was never any attempts to sway me in getting anything other than or in addition to what I initially was interested in purchasing. This was a very pleasant experience, and I appreciate that very much.

I had the best experience buying a car at this dealership. Antony was very courteous and knowledgeable about the options available to me for the kind of vehicle I was looking for. After trying a couple of cars I made my choice in confidence and it was mine before the end of the day.
Nice place to buy a vehicle but the service department leaves a lot to be desired. Prices are MUCH higher than other reputable places. Charged my son over $500 to do a repair that they said involved pulling the radiator. It broke down in less than a week and when we had another mechanic get into it the radiator had NOT been pulled. Still had leaves all over it. Went in the other day to get a print out of prices for varioius services and they would not even provide any prices in print. Go somewhere else for service.
So I have been in search of my perfect first Subaru for quite some time....and when I met Frances Vargas at Don Mealy Sport Subaru, my intention was to find a clean used Forester (hopefully in white) but did not get my wish.....however I DID get my wish once Frances truly inquired and listened to what I wanted.....pointed me in the direction of the beautiful pearly white 2021 Forester Premium and the rest is history!!! She was attentive and a great listener.....really felt heard and now am so excited about my purchase!!! HIGHLY recommend Frances and Don Mealy Subaru.

I have done my research for six (6) months on the best car to buy. Subaru has always been at the top in all criteria. I purchased the Outback Limited. MR.
