Fantastic experience! Had an emergency back window repair that needed to be done. Got in the same day and they fixed it. They were respectful and did a wonderful job. I showed up right on time and they estimated an hour, it was exactly an hour and its perfect! Thanks so much for coming to my rescue!

The customer service was great. The customer service lady was nice and explained everything in details. The tech who assisted me was nice, very detail oriented, and very helpful. Once he completed his first touch up, he offer me a solution to see if I like the touch up or I can go ahead with the full replacement. I accept his thought of training and professionalism. Therefore, I accepted the full glass replacement. We had other conversation in which it shows how he interact with his customers. The lobby & the shop warehouse is clean. Ill be looking forward to seeing this place on my next scheduled appointment next week. I have a 2011 Chevy Malibu. Keep up the great work. God bless.

On 9/13 I had a technician attempt to repair a rock chip and was unsuccessful. I set up an appointment for a windshield replacement for 9/20 and dropped off my vehicle. Two hours later I was told they had the wrong windshield.I rescheduled for 9/27 at 1pm and earlier that day called to make sure they had the right windshield. I was assured everything was good and verified and we were good to go. Later that day, I received a call that the replacement couldn’t happen because Teslas take too long and must be done in the morning. It is surprising that 1pm was too late in the day to start service. Regardless, I was scheduled a third appointment for today, 9/29. The vehicle was dropped off at 8am and two hours later, I was again told that they have the wrong windshield and I would need to pick up my car.In addition, I asked twice on Monday if they had the correct windshield based on my prior experience and was assured it would be replaced On Wednesday. I did my best to prepare for my fourth appointment, and again dropped off my vehicle. Safelite did not do their best and led me to again be disappointed that the windshield wasn’t replaced.Safelite should be experts and as leaders in the market, it doesn’t make sense that this company continually can’t get the correct windshield and verify it before a client drops of their vehicle for service. I really expected more. I have no faith in Safelite to complete my repair for this or any future services.

Safelite is a SCAM. Their commercials are false advertising!!! SAME DAY SERVICE?! EASY TO USE?! How about an confirmation to come out, waiting 5 hours and then leaving you and your family stranded with nowhere to go! ABSOLUTELY THE WORST! You’re better off going through your insurance company and finding a local shop then having to deal with these scam artists. BUYER BEWARE. Safelite is anything but “Safe”

I have been dealing with replacements with Safelite for almost 2 months now after something that should have been a quick easy fix. The first glass they replaced was aftermarket and was all messed up. Next I got the OEM put in and I had to wait a long time for it, almost a month. The glass was finally replaced quickly, but then i noticed something when I was driving. I heard air whooshing in and next when it rained I found out the windshield was leaking and water came all inside my car. The glass wasnt even sealed properly and caused water damaged to the inside of my vehicle. Thankfully I was able to go to Safelite in Altamonte and they fixed it quickly and efficiently. The tech fixing the glass said it was the worst job he had ever seen. I DO NOT recommend going to this Safelite if you have to use this company. Please go to Altamonte location. They are very nice and accommodating there, but overall ask for the OEM glass to be installed at your cars dealership.

Took my Lexus to them for a chipped windshield, they kept on ordering the wrong parts, they called me and said that they finally got the right one,, set up appointmentand dropped off car,,, after 3 weeks,they called me 2 hours later,, just to say that they cant replace windshield on my car.... then when I asked why wasnt the glass inspected b4, they got the nerve to get upset with me... im sorry but that doesnt fly... after all that, when I went to pick up my car, they were sleeping with head down on front desk... my experience at safelite was the worst and thanks to Sanders Auto Glass,, im now in great shape and will never ever tolerate safelite again....10-26-2021, my experience happened exactly like Anthony Clarkes review... so I know they always behave in this manner.

Would not honor their written 30 day warranty on defective or workmanship. Had my back window replaced and a week later it was leaking and cracked. Called no response. Went back to the site and they said their was nothing they could do. Wouldn’t even inspect there work. Do not service your vehicle with them. I went to them for there names and warranty claims. Finding their mom and pop competitors are cheaper and more friendly. So disappointed that wouldn’t honor their written warranty or even inspect there work.

My Tesla windshield was replaced quickly for free through insurance. They handled all of the paperwork and claim process. They quoted 4 hours but it only took about 1 and a half. They did damage part of the inside of the car, but the manager has been great and they are paying for the damage without any hassle. Just make sure you check everything before leaving the parking lot. Accidents happen. Its how the company handles things when it does, and they have handled it very well.

I had an appointment set up for between 12-5 pm to fix a busted out window due to theft. I waited 5 hours and no one ever showed up. No courtesy call. No canceled appointment email. No reschedule. Just didn’t show. FOR 5 HOURS. I called at 5 pm sharp and of course no one answered because the local branch closes at 5 even though their National phone number says 5:30 (it kept redirecting me to my local branch phone automatically). This is the SECOND time this has happened to me with this company and I will be sure to NEVER use them again.

Poor excuse for a business.5 appointments to change a Honda Accord windshield and still did not get it done. Everytime I got a different person who blamed the person before. Even when I called between appointment number 3 and appointment number 4, and I was assured that the account was notated, they still got it wrong. And all the installers claimed that their shops are too far to go get what they need and comeback to finish.Unorganized people that completely waste your time without getting even the job done.By the way, you have to make an online appointment before you can talk to anyone on the phone.All 5 appointments too over 33 days with no results. I think it takes less time to build the whole car.After 5 appointment, I called someone local to get it done. My advise, call someone local with a local shop and save yourself the headaches of those nationwide companies that are internet and automated answering machine based.

This is the worst experience I’ve ever had, if I could I would give zero stars. I never write reviews but I had to for this one. it took six appointments and two orders For my windshield to be replaced, which was a span of over a month. My first appointment the guy didn’t even look at the car and just told me there could be rust under the windshield and that he couldn’t replace it. After I called the main shop (3122 Shader Rd Orlando, FL) to complain they have me come to the shop for a manger to inspect my vehicle. The manager informed me the technician was incompetent and should have replace my windshield because it had no rust. I had to reschedule for the following day. The following day the technician arrived and didn’t have the right glass. Comes to find out they never had the right one in the first place. So they had to make an order for one. One week later when my glasses arrived and a 3rd appointment was set, No one showed up. No I’m im upset, I called them to figure out what’s going on they had no excuse and I had to make 4th appointment. The 4th appointment with a technician arrived it was drizzling and they can’t install in the rain, I can’t blame them for that so they get a pass for that one. On my 5th appointment the technician arrives and the windshield they brought to me had a scratching in it and would void the warranty if they installed it. And they only ordered the 1 glass so now they have to order more windshield again. They informed me that once the windshields arrive they would set an appointment for me automatically and send me an email. (of course that never happened) so I had to call and schedule my 6th appointment. Finally I was able to get my windshield replaced after 6 attempts and over 30 days.If it wasn’t for me calling them all the time, I would still be waiting to get my windshield replace.I suggest them turn that 3122 Shader Rd Orlando, FL shop into a McDonald’s because I don’t know what business they are running but it is not windshield repair/replacement. Try ordering a big Mac meal with a Diet Coke maybe they can figure that one out. 0/10 go anywhere else but here.

Radio got wet and stop working due to the mid-afternoon/3pm rainstorm. because the technician after removing the damage windshields at 1pm dissappear until it started raining to throw furniture pads trying to stop the rain from going into my truck. After the 10min typical Florida rainstorm, they had both windshields installed within 30min.But Bcuz Technicians Procrastinating, Hanging Out in the back of the warehouse smoking weed in their vehicles on company time, I now have to buy a new stereo system for my truck. Great Job Guys

Wasted my time. Twice. I asked them when I made the appointment to make sure they have the part, or call me to reschedule if they didn’t (because that’s what happened at a different Safelite the previous week). When I turned up to my appointment, after driving across town for an hour, they told me they didn’t have the part. Waste of my time. Again. Very unprofessional. I’m never using Safelite again.

Let me just tell you if I could give this place zero star rating I would. I made an appointment that was quick and painless through my insurance company. My windshield was replaced I opted to purchase the wipers. Needless to say I can barely see out of my windshield wipers and windshield are terrible. That is not even the best part tech broke my moon roof of my Ford pick up truck not a cheap fix. That same day after my windshield installation I left and all I could hear was a big wind tunnel, sent them an email to talk to them about it since I had this repaired at my business I have the technician on camera pushing on it causing it to break!!!!!!! Nobody has called me or reached out and that has been weeks ago terrible service. I guess I will just have to go through my insurance company again now for the moonroof!

Appointment was scheduled for 8-12. At 12:30 still no technician. Called customer service and they were very rude. You could tell they hate their job. Customer service rep transferred me to someone else without even saying anything. The person they transferred me to answered the phone like they were answering their personal phone, and he is suppose to be a manager. The technician that was scheduled to repair the windshield lied that he was unable to access the gated community. Saying the security guard did not have our phone number to let him come in. The company was already on the gate and if for some reason they would not have been they would have called us. None of these people apologized for their mess up. Just horrible. Car insurance company’s should stop doing business with them.

Quick and easy scheduling and service. They contacted the insurance company for me. The only thing keeping them from a 5 Star rating is the amount of old windsheild sealant left on my carpet from the old glass removal. It should have been vacuumed up.

Great no contact service, had an appointment scheduled for the same time as my windshield replacement appointment. The technician reached out asked kindly to come early due to inclimate weather. I agreed and while I was out he arrived promptly and reached out to let me know the process and length of time, and follow up instructions. Overall great quality service!!

I have used Safelite Autoglass a few times. They’ve done a 5 Star for replacing shields on two of my vehicles. However, they got a one star for a bullseye repair that did not look any better after it was done on my brothers car when he was visiting me and his car was hit by a rock on the highway. They said sometimes that happens when the crack is deep and that it still has the warranty so if it gets worse they will apply $130 charge towards a replacement windshield install. My brother and I were very disappointed.

Best price and warranty! The estimated 1.5 to 2 hour wait at the shop was true. I even got a $40 discount via Instagram and 10% back as a Bank of America customer. I definitely recommend dropping off your car and catching a ride elsewhere during the presence of COVID-19 because space in the waiting room is limited. Hand sanitizer is available through the area though.

The repair was fine, but the scheduling and the customer service was not good. They scheduled me an hour before the shop closed, when my vehicle would take 3 hours to repair due to the sensors on the windshield. Then on the reschedule, my wife was 15 mins late, only 5 mins past their grace period, but I asked if they could work with me since they screwed up the scheduling in the first place. That’s when I found out there was another repair shop they could have scheduled me at that was closer to my house. I asked for a manager and the girl refused. They could only offer me free wiper blades(that I didn’t need), because this was an insurance claim. When I gave them feedback on their survey, they said a manager was going to follow up with me…never happened. I would ask your insurance company to go with a different glass repair shop because it seems Safelite is complacent with their customer service since they know the insurance companies are still using them.

I would give ZERO stars if I could, but it only allows me to give a minimum of 1 star. Scheduled with our insurance to have them come replace my windshield at my house in 3 days. The day of the replacement, the tech calls me 30 minutes after their promised time asking us to drive to an undisclosed location about 40 minutes from my house; that was out of the question since we’ve rearranged our schedule to be here for home repairs at the same time. So, he (Eric) arrived eventually & proceeded to give us multiple reasons why he can’t do the windshield replacement right now. First, it was the rain. It was cloudy, no rain in sight. Ok, you can do it in my 2 car garage: “I don’t know if I have the glass available” was the next excuse. Once he confirmed he had the glass, then our giant two car garage wasn’t “big enough” because he can’t pull his van inside of it. He eventually said that we’d have to reschedule the replacement for another day and sped away. Unprofessional 100%. I called the number for Safelight Auto glass and sat on hold for over 45 minutes with no success at 1:45pm. Honestly looked like the driver was high on something with the jittery demeanor and fast talking he was doing. Made NO attempt at trying to help us. I do not recommend this company at all.

Went with safelite because of its reputation being a reliable company. Didnt have comprehensive so paid out of pocket in full before they even showed up. Was $362 with a 30$ off coupon online. Technician was nice and took about an hour to install my windshield replacement. Unfortunately, the tech bent my wipers in almost a 90 degree angle and didnt bother to mention anything. Instead he asked for a 5 star review. If I was driving in a downpour I wouldve gotten into an accident. Called safelite to report it and person on the phone said I would have to drive all the way across town to get the replacements and hung up. Super bummed. Didnt offer to refund me the amount of new wipers back to the card I used to prepay or offered to drive back to me to drop them off. Instead I have to waste my time and gas to drive 25 miles across town to get them replaced or spend more money and buy my own.

Safelite put in the wrong windshield for my vehicle. My lane assist no longer works I have called twice to order replacement windshields as a warranty and no one calls me back to replace the windshield. I’ve called several times and get hung up on. This is the most frustrated I’ve ever been with a company like this I will never ever use them again. I’ll probably have to file a complaint just to get my windshield done and possibly take legal action if they don’t get back to me soon

They confirmed with me 3 times before what time I would be arriving and my car make and model. When I arrived I waited for 30 mins before they got to me and then informed me itd take 2 and a half hours to finish.I had to drive all the way to the shop since they said there was no vehicles to come to us. While I walked waiting for it to complete I saw 12 safelite vans hidden in a backlot all looking pristine.... riiiiiight...They then called to let me know they didnt have the right windshield and now Id have to come back in a few days. I gave them my make and model, year, and I have the standard edition lol, why have me come at all if they didnt have it.I have a long crack in my windshield that gets longer everytime I drive, but thats fine I guess.UPDATE: They returned my car without closing the hood completely. I drove several miles with my hood only halfway latched. Sloppy and dangerous.

Excellent service! The insurance company didnt communicate properly but Safelite worked with me and rescheduled the appointment multiple times. When I came to appointment, we found out the rental company had the wrong car on the rental agreement but Safelite got the right windshield and got it installed ahead of schedule anyway.

I am glad he notified me of it, but I was then told that I would need to wait another week to get my windshield replaced. This is ridiculous, its Is their fault the windshield was not inspected prior to my appointmen. I should not be made to wait due to their incompetence

If I could rate this place zero stars I absolutely would. I went in for a simple windshield replacement for a crack in my windshield almost two months ago. They replaced my windshield but broke my rain sensor. So they had to order a new rain sensor and replace that and the windshield AGAIN because the adhesive from them ripping off the rain sensor covered the sensor. THEN when I went to pick it up, I saw that they broke my cover that goes over the rain sensor by the rear view mirror. Just another thing they broke and will have to “fix”.

They put in a windshield with a wavy place in it and I had to have it replaced again. Then they lost a sensor in the windshield and had to return for a third time to have it installed. In the end they did a good job but what a hassle and inconvenience to get to this point.

This is my first time using Safelite AutoGlass, as I just moved here a little over a year ago. Ive had to replace my windshield in my Audi 3 times. The 4th time I went with Safelite AutoGlass and I can truly say I will never use another company again! They are professional, on time, and very friendly. They ensure they go over everything with you. My technician was Jacob and he did a fantastic job! Very attentive and efficient.

I had my windshield installed on my Ford F150 today by Edgard, not only was he punctual he was earlier than scheduled. He is very knowledgeable of the job and performance is a flawless expertise. I scheduled an appointment that kept getting cancelled. Finally I was called and went through insurance verification and gave my Vin number for the correct glass. Was told I would hear back or get an email and got none. Called and they arent taking phone calls so not sure if this is happening since its been a week since they called me. A contact email or person would have been nice to have.

I had a windshield replacement on my Tesla Model 3 last month. Mobile service wasnt available for my car because the experience of master technician is needed for these cars. Drop off and pick up at the Orlando location was efficient. When I picked up my car, I noted the cabin temperature sensor was malfunctioning. I brought my car for service at the Tesla service center, and they reported extensive damage to the temperature and humidity sensor, necessitating replacement. Per the SC, the damage to this area could not have come from anything other than an unusually poor installation of the new windshield. Discussing with the general manager at Safelite, he was defensive and repeatedly asserted that no one could prove that Safelite caused the damage, and they therefore werent liable. At the end of the day, better technicians at Tesla fixed the sensor, and they had much better customer service (they again contacted the manager at Safelite and subsequently footed the bill when Safelite said that they would not pay for the repairs). Tesla SC mentioned to me that in their experience working with Safelite through the years, my poor customer service there was not atypical.

My dad helps train the techs here & after getting to watching them install. The amount of prestige going into this work is amazing not only is it... Fast, Friendly and efficient it is done with some serious skill and knowledge about every window size every cars different install. And for all those reasons they get 5 stars and have installed many of my crazy glass breaks from the highway driving around Orlando and sarasota.. Everytime this location and ALTIMONTE have done a fantastic job.

The service is very professional! Even though there is quite a bit of a wait time, there are two comfortable waiting areas with vending machines and tvs etc available. The facility is clean and the staff are friendly, patient and knowledgeable. You should enjoy the quite quiet and professional experience there.

Technician Jana L. Was great. Everything was explained as far as the process for windshield repair. Job was done in a timely manner !!!Location is great too. Clean & waiting room adequate. Coffee & Water available. Vending machines too!!! Will be back if in need of glass repair or replacement!!!

I am impressed with the service and the facility on Shader Road in Orlando. The people are helpful and very courteous. They replaced my windshield and recalibrated the vision sensors, so it was a bit involved as a two-step process. They kept me informed through the process. The waiting area was comfortable and pleasant as well. Thank you, Safelite!

I’ve had my windshield replaced twice and it still leaks 😡.I don’t even have ten thousand miles on my truck and I’m stuck with a leaky windshield. I’m going to have them come out one more time and I sure as hell hope that’s the end of this tiresome ordeal. The service people have been very nice and professional, but the replacement hasn’t been up to par.

Safelite used some cheap ill-fitting universal molding for my windshield. Not only did it look terrible but it blew off in the wind a couple months later.

A smash and grab to my passenger widow while I was at work had me rattled. The phone rep was so helpful and got me scheduled for a repair the next morning. Everyone was so professional and nice! They repaired my window and vacuumed up all the millions of pieces of glass that flew throughout the car. Great service all around!

Had my windshield replaced yesterday by Technician Peter; Not only was he doing an awesome job, he kept good follow up with me and let me read over the receipt multiple times before he left my area. He called when he was going to be on his way and gave me the best service I’ve ever had with anything in my life. Great conversation and took his time making sure everything looked good and made sure my windshield would perform well after. 100% recommendations go to Peter for such great service !

I scheduled my appointment and they sent me a confirmation email that my appointment would only take an hour. When I checked in for my appointment they said that it would take 2-2.5 hours to be finished. Two hours later I received a call that they couldn’t figure out how to start my car, which meant that they hadn’t even started working on it by the time they were supposed to be finished.I told them how to start my car and waited for another callback, but another 2 hours later I still hadn’t received a call. I decided to call into the shop, which is next to impossible thanks to their inefficient phone system. After waiting over 20 minutes to get on the line with someone, I was finally able to confirm that my car was finished.When I wen’t in to get my car, they didn’t know where my keys were, but finally found them sitting under a phone on the desk. Also I asked them to remove the mount for my dash cam, which was on the old windshield, but of course they didn’t bother to do that.Overall terrible customer service. The only reason they get 2 stars is because my windshield was installed properly.
